Agnar: I am aware of the mistake with Hayate and keep forgetting to edit it, thank you though. As for the Taijutsu style not every clan has one and I wanted the Uzumaki focusing on Kenjutsu, they would just pick a Taijutsu style that worked best for them. Hayate was there to make sure Naruto wasn't attacked or kidnapped not really to raise him.
Orange Kage: I haven't planned on any surprise Uzumaki but I am playing with the idea of Naruto finding out about Karin being an Uzumaki. As for the Clan Head that information will come up in a few chapters so hold tight.
Somilmish: As of right now I plan there to be a harem but it will only be two and not girls from Konoha or women way older then him.
ImmortalMyrddin: No fan-girls, I think everyone can agree on that.
DLTA811: Gaara will turn good, it just happens in a different way.
MickDunD: First nice penname, love those movies. Second, if wind can cut steel it can cut sand, even Biju enforced but I see your point. Agree to disagree I guess.

Naruto jumped from tree to tree as fast as he could to get back to Konoha. He didn't know what the village's status was but he wanted to get back to see what he could do. As he landed on a branch Naruto's six sense told him to move, jumping towards the trunk Naruto avoided six kunai that sank into the branch.
"What have we here?" Naruto looked around to see several shinobi wearing grey over shirts with black pants and black long-sleeved shirts underneath. Each of them all had black facemasks, revealing only their eyes, scarves that were leopard printed of grey and black and finally a headband with a music note on it. "Seems a gaki got lost." The other men chuckled at their comrade.
Naruto grit his teeth and dropped into a crouch, placing his hand on Yukiko. He might have beaten Gaara easily but that really was just because he had a seal to deal with the Biju's chakra, up against the eight men surrounding him he wouldn't be so lucky.
"Oh-ho seems the gaki wants to fight." One of the men said, Naruto could hear the grin on his face. "I call first shot." Naruto held back a smirk, it would do for these men to under estimate him and he hoped he could kill a few before making a break for Konoha.
"Don't let your guard down." One of the men to the side said, causing everyone to look at him. "This is the Uzumaki kid Orochimaru-sama warned us about. He is not to be under estimated, treat him like an experienced Chunin."
Naruto cursed under his breath as he lost and advantage he might have had, the enemy shinobi didn't even bat an eye at the order so Naruto knew they trusted their comrades advice. "Great, defeat a Jinchuriki and get killed by a bunch of no name shinobi." Naruto thought as he took a deep breath "Might as well take the fight to them." "Grand Swallow" Naruto drew Yukiko and sent a long horizontal slash towards all the enemy shinobi.
"Move!" Naruto heard someone yell and he himself leapt to the ground so he could move better.
"Not so fast gaki!" A shinobi said punching Naruto in the stomach as soon as he hit the ground, the blonde almost lost his grip on Yukiko. The enemy shinobi followed up with a kick to Naruto's ribs, sending the blonde flying into a tree trunk.
"Damn that was an impressive Jutsu." Naruto looked up as the men all approached him. "To bad you won't get to use it ever again." The shinobi all chuckled as they drew kunai. "Let's see how many he can dodge."
The leading shinobi threw a kunai at Naruto, who easily avoided it but quickly moved again as another kunai was thrown. "Good reflexes gaki but let's pick up the pace." A different shinobi said as he flung two kunai at Naruto, the blonde brought up Yukiko and deflected both.
"Don't let him get a jutsu off." A shinobi yelled as he and others threw multiple kunai to not only keep Naruto occupied but from running. Naruto was beginning to sweat as they kept up the assault, since they outnumbered him they could easily wear Naruto down.
Naruto began breathing heavy as he continued to deflect the kunai, his arms were starting to get tired but if he dropped his sword to use a jutsu he knew he would be ripped to shreds. "Argh." Naruto said as a kunai slipped past him and hit his left shoulder.
"First point to me." One called out as they all watched Naruto pull the projectile out of his skin. "Let's step it up." The invading shinobi chuckled as they drew more kunai. "Say goodbye gaki."
"Many Hidden Shadow Snake Hands" Naruto's eyes went wide as multiple snakes shot out of the trees and swarmed four of the enemy shinobi.
"Fuck!" One of the invaders shouted as he jumped away.
"In the tree!" Another called out as he threw kunai into the trees. Naruto noticed a large figure appear behind the men as they focused on the tree.
"Katon: Great Fireball Technique" A large fireball formed in front of the figure and flew into the invaders, there screams filled the air as they burned.
"You all right gaki?" Naruto looked up to see Anko walking towards him. "That doesn't look pleasant."She nodded to his bleeding shoulder.
"Report Anko." Ibiki asked as he walked over to the duo.
Naruto let out a sigh as he fell back against the tree trunk and slide to the ground while Anko quickly ripped his shirt to inspect the wound. "Nothing to serious." She informed Ibiki as she wiped her thumb over the wound, causing Naruto to flinch. "Mhm good." Anko grinned as she licked the blood off her finger.
"Save your weird fetish for another time Anko." Ibiki said with a roll of his eyes. "You alright kid?" Naruto gave a weak nod. "Sure you are, Anko get the kid to a hospital."
"You got it Ibiki." Anko stood and snapped of a salute. "Come on Naruto-kun, let's get you all patched up before Neko-chan see's you." Naruto didn't have time to protest before Anko snatched him up and shunshined towards Konoha.

Naruto looked around as he and Anko appeared on top of the wall surrounding Konoha, smoke was filling the area and several buildings had been crushed. "Damn." Naruto muttered before spying a large purple barrier in the middle of the village. "What's that?" Naruto turned to Anko as he asked.
The purple haired shinobi frowned when she spied the box and wondered if she should tell Naruto. "Orochimaru and Hokage-sama are inside fighting." She cursed herself as soon as she said it; Naruto immediately used a Shunshin to get to the barrier. "Fuck." Anko said before following after the blonde.
Naruto appeared on the roof in front of the barrier and was surrounded by Anbu. "Hold!" All the Anbu stopped just short of the blonde. "Uzumaki what are you doing here." Naruto looked past the Anbu before him and saw a Dragon masked Anbu giving orders.
"I can help get this barrier down." Naruto said quickly as he started to look at the barrier.
"Let him past." The Dragon masked Anbu commanded.
"Naruto what the hell are you doing?" Anko said as she appeared on the roof.
"I'm the only one in the village who can take own this barrier." Naruto said as he spun around to face her.
"Your bleeding and we need to get that wound looked at." Anko replied while crossing her arms. Naruto rolled his eyes and pointed to the wound, which was already healing.
"I'll be fine." The blonde said before turning back around and heading to the barrier. Anko sighed and shook her head, she knew Yugao would kill her if she let anything happen to Naruto so she was going to watch the blonde like a hawk.
"We attempted to break through the barrier but the Anbu that went first was horribly burned." The Dragon masked Anbu said as Naruto joined him. "Do you know what this is?"
Naruto held his hand an inch from the barrier and felt the heat coming off of it. He then looked to his left and saw the enemy shinobi squatting down holding a hand seal, turning he saw the same on his right. "Are there four of them?"
"Yes." Dragon answered then motioned for his men to come towards him.
Naruto nodded. "Which shinobi in the corners looks the easiest to take?"
"Monkey?" Dragon said as he looked over his shoulder.
"Of the four I think we should attack the one in the northeast corner." The Anbu replied. "While he is large and possibly stronger our numbers and speed would be best used against him."
Naruto was about to speak when the roof shook slightly and he looked into the barrier. "Wait I thought it was Orochimaru and Jij only?" Anko looked up as well and saw the two other figures inside.
"Orochimaru has used a forbidden jutsu to bring back the First and Second Hokage." Dragon answered with a grim voice.
Naruto froze in place at that and looked up at Dragon then back at the barrier. "Shit." Naruto said before curling his hand into a fist.
"What's wrong?" Anko asked confused.
"If we take down this barrier then there free to attack the village." Naruto replied as his hands shook with anger, he wanted to get in there to help Hiruzen but knew the village might not survive an attack from both the First and Second Hokage along with what forces were already around them.
"You know of no way to seal them?" Dragon asked with a frown behind his mask.
Naruto shook his head. "I've never encountered this kind of problem so I can't be sure any seals I know would work on them."
"This poses a problem then." Dragon said as he looked into the barrier. "Hokage-sama is holding them back but even if dropping the barrier allows more of us to fight I fear the village will not survive."
"There would be massive collateral damage as well." Anko said in agreement, no matter how much she wanted to get Orochimaru.
"We can't just leave Jiji in there though." Naruto said as he rounded on them.
"We have no choice." Dragon said as he nodded to the other Anbu, who all disappeared swirls of leaves. "They will all be watching each of the enemy shinobi making up the barrier corners. When they drop it we will take them."
"But how does that help Jiji!" Naruto yelled as he pointed towards the barrier. "He's in there alone and no one is doing a damn thing to help him."
"And if you know Hokage-sama at all you would know he would not want us to endanger the civilians or the village." Dragon responded, causing Naruto to come up short. "So we will wait and act accordingly."
"But.." Naruto started to say until he felt a sharp pain on his neck and was taken by blackness. Anko caught him before he hit the ground and looked up and Dragon.
"Hokage-sama would want him to be safe and I feel if he stayed around he could act rash." Dragon informed the woman as she glared at him. "Take him to one of the safety zones.
Anko watched Dragon for a minute before nodding and disappearing with the blonde to one of the safety zone setup in case of invasion. The Anbu sighed as he turned back to the barrier and watched his leader fighting for his life, wondering if he made the right decision.

Naruto woke with a start and looked around, recognizing that he was in his own room. He noticed his shirt had been removed and quickly jumped out of his bed and grabbed a spare one before heading towards the door.
"Naruto." The blonde stopped when he heard his name, turning he saw Jiraiya sitting in the living room drinking a bottle of sake. "How are you feeling?"
"What happened?" Naruto asked quickly, he knew the fighting had to be over because Jiraiya wouldn't be here if it wasn't.
"The invasion was an overall failure, we lost some lives but since we expected something we were prepared enough." Jiraiya informed the teen. "Some collateral damage but as a whole the village is going to be fine, we already have the more experienced Genin and Chunin making repairs."
"What about Jiji?" Naruto asked as he moved to one of the chairs, he noticed Jiraiya frown and a cold feeling passed over him.
"He died." Naruto felt his world start to spin. "Orochimaru stabbed him with his sword, The Sword of Kusanagi, which has a powerful poison. Before he died though Sensei used the Dead Demon Consuming Seal to seal the First and Second along with part of Orochimaru." The Toad Sage took another gulp of sake before he eyed Naruto, the boy's face was blank but Jiraiya could see the sadness forming. "I hear you defeated Gaara like you were told to."
"Hai." Naruto responded though it was hollow, his mind was trying to register the fact Hiruzen was dead.
Jiraiya sighed and realized he wasn't going to get anything from Naruto today, not that he had really expected it. "Take some time off, Yugao and Hayate are on duty like the others but Sasuke and your teammates should be around." He then stood and walked towards the door. "Don't let this consume you Naruto; Sensei wouldn't have wanted it to."
Naruto gave a slight nod as Jiraiya left, waiting only a few seconds before heading towards his office.

Jiraiya looked out from the roof of the Hokage building at the village, a small smile on his face as he saw the people going about their business. It had been two days since the invasion and they had finished the funeral for Hiruzen earlier but now Koharu and Homura needed to speak to him. "How can I help you?"
"As you already know the village is heading towards a decline and people are starting to become scared." Homura started to explain.
"The responses from the other villages will occur soon and we need a strong leader to stand for Konoha." Koharu chimed in, Jiraiya nodded in agreement. "At a meeting yesterday it was decided that you would be the Fifth Hokage."
"Stop right there." Jiraiya said as he held up a hand. "Unfortunately I'm not the leader type."
"This was the decision made Jiraiya." Homura responded. "You are one of the Sennin and the only one respected enough to inherit the title."
"There's one other Sennin." Jiraiya answered with a small smirk. "And she has more of a right then I do."
"True Tsunade could take the role but we do not know where she is." Koharu said as she rubbed her chin.
"I'll track her down and bring her back." Jiraiya said with a grin. "That should work right?"
Homura and Koharu shared a look. "We will inform the council." Homura said as he turned back to Jiraiya. "We will have a team of Anbu accompany you."
"There's no need to have someone watch over me I won't run away." Jiraiya replied as he turned around and walked towards the railing, stopping just short and looking over his shoulder. "Oh but I will be taking Naruto with me." With that Jiraiya leapt onto the railing and then off into the village so they couldn't object.

Naruto took deep breaths as he looked around his backyard; he had been cutting up as many things as he could to let out his emotions. It was working, he still was upset about the death of Hiruzen but he was handling it and that's all that mattered.
"Damn gaki." Naruto spun around to see Jiraiya walking toward him and looking around the yard. "You sure had some pent up aggression."
"What's up Ero-Sennin?" Naruto asked earning a tick from Jiriya.
"Pack your gear we're going on a mission." Naruto cocked an eyebrow at Jiraiya.
"Where to?" Naruto asked curiously as he sheathed his sword.
"Going to find my old teammate." Jiriya replied as he turned and headed to the house. Naruto paused and thought about the information, he knew who Tsunade was and there were only two reasons he could think of for them to go and find her.
"So is she going to be the new Hokage or are we just asking her to come back to help at the hospital?" Jiraiya smirked at the blonde's statement, proud the boy was quick on the uptake.
"Hokage but having her and her apprentice help at the hospital would be a bonus." Jiraiya answered as they stepped inside. "Pack for, hmm, two weeks."
"Hai." Naruto replied as he ran to his room and started to get everything together. It didn't take him long to gather everything and leave a quick note for Hayate and Yugao about where he was.
"So where we off to?" Naruto asked as they walked past the village gates, which had surprisingly survived.
"Tsunade is on the move constantly but I'm hoping to find some information about her at Tanzaku-gai." Jiraiya informed the blonde. "Also there's something I want to teach you."
Naruto looked up as Jiraiya pulled out a scroll and unsealed a balloon. "The hell is that?"

Sasuke let out a sigh as he walked around the village looking for his sensei. He had gone by Naruto's to try and get some training in but learned that the blonde was on a mission he decided to see if Kakashi was free. As he walked down the street he saw his sensei leaning against a building talking to Asuma and Kurenai. "Sensei."
Kakashi looked up at his student as he approached; a flash of worry filled him as to who was behind him and how this could play out. "Sasuke." Kakashi said with a nod. "How can I help you?"
Sasuke opened his mouth but his gaze shifted to the building behind Kakashi, he noticed the table that was filled seconds ago. "I was wondering if we could get some training in."
Kakashi shot Kurenai and Asuma a glance and the two were gone in a swirl of leaves. "Sure meet me at the training ground." Kakashi then disappeared; Sasuke eyed the area Kakashi was in for a second before shrugging and heading to the training ground.

"Oh come on." Naruto grumbled to himself as he stared down at the water balloon in his hand. Jiraiya had tasked him with this training to learn a jutsu The Rasengan, created by the Fourth Hokage. His first step was to spin the water in the balloon so that it popped, of course while he worked on that Jiraiya had left him in there hotel room to follow some woman, admittedly she was hot but Naruto was still upset about it. "Damn this is harder than I thought it would be." A knock at his door drew his attention and Naruto put the balloon down to answer it.
Swinging open the door Naruto found two figures standing in the hall, one was a tall blue skinned man with his black hair styled into a single spike pointing forward. He also had three gill like marks under both eyes and Naruto spotted a sword handle coming over his shoulder. While Naruto didn't know the man he instantly recognized. "Itachi."
"Hello Naruto-kun." Itachi replied with a small nod. "We would like you to come have a word with us."
"Why the hell would I go anywhere with you?" Naruto said as he dropped his hand to Yukiko.
Itachi's companion chuckled at the action and he mimicked it. "Seems the kid wants to play, he can lose a leg and still be useful right Itachi?"
"Hello Sasuke." Naruto cocked an eyebrow at Itachi's statement as both men turned and looked down the hall to see Sasuke standing there.
"Itachi." Naruto shivered at the venom in the young Uchiha's voice. "You owe me answers."
"Ah look the Sharingan." The blue skinned shinobi said with a chuckle. "Is this perhaps your brother?"
"I see you have advanced your Sharingan." Itachi stated as he looked his younger brother in the eye.
"You will pay for your crimes Itachi!" Sasuke yelled as his fist became engulfed with electricity. "Raaaaahhhhhh!" Naruto watched the curse seal lines cover Sasuke as the raven haired boy rush forward. Naruto reacted immediately and drew Yukiko, attempting to slice Itachi's accomplice.
"I don't think so kid." The man said as he grabbed the sword handle and brought the blade around, however it was completely wrapped in bandages and Naruto had no idea what it looked like.
A massive crash drew Naruto's attention and the two swordsmen looked over at a large hole that had formed where Sasuke had hit the wall just to the side of Itachi. "Foolish little brother." Itachi said causing Sasuke to look up at him.

Sasuke looked around; he was now in a large open area with a red moon shining light around the area. The ground was littered with different weapons, everything from swords to spears rose from the ground. He attempted to move and found himself stuck to a cross. "What is this?"
"Welcome to Tsukuyomi." Sasuke looked forward and saw Itachi walking towards him. "Inside this Genjutsu I control everything including time and space. For the next seventy two hours you are trapped here."
"Fight me you coward." Sasuke attempted to leap forward but was held tight to the cross.
Itachi let out a small chuckle. "You want to know why I killed our clan don't you Sasuke?" Itachi watched as Sasuke snarled at him and attempted to break free again. "It was to test myself."
Sasuke's eyes went wide. "What?...how could you!?" Sasuke yelled. "Everyone already knew how powerful you were why would you need to test yourself?"
"You could never understand what it is to have power." Itachi replied. "I took everyone from you so you could grow powerful but it seems I was wrong." Itachi shook his head in disappointment. "I thought with the family gone you wouldn't be held back but it seems I forgot something." Sasuke looked at Itachi confused until Naruto appeared before him.
"What's going on?" Naruto said as he started to look around, Itachi suddenly grabbed him by the throat.
"Let him go you bastard!" Sasuke screamed as he used all his power to try and break free.
"I chose to leave Naruto-kun alive because I didn't think he would keep you from becoming strong but it seems I was mistaken." Naruto let out a gargled scream as Itachi tightened his grip. "By being weak you have forced me to take measures, your weakness has killed your friend." Itachi held up a kunai and went to strike Naruto.
"NOOOOOOOOO!" Sasuke screamed and suddenly he was free, not questioning it the boy ran forward and activated his Chidori. When he was in range Sasuke used all of his strength to stab Itachi, he smiled as he felt his hand tear through flesh but his smile faded as he looked up and saw Naruto's eyes staring at him.
"Sasuke….why…" Naruto asked as the light in his eye began to go out.
"Foolish little brother." Itachi said from behind the blonde. "You are too weak to defeat me."
"No…Naruto…." Sasuke said in a soft voice as he shook his head. "IITTAACCHHIII!" Sasuke yelled, his chakra exploding outward as he screamed.

Naruto was confused, one second Sasuke was glaring at his brother and then suddenly he's yelling and dropping to his knees.
"Geez you really must hate your brother Itachi." The swordsman said with a chuckle. "Can we take care of the kid now?" Naruto froze when he realized the man was still there.
"Come with us Naruto-kun." Itachi said as he turned to face the blonde, who was now trapped between the men.
Suddenly smoke filled the hall and the swordsman jumped back as a toad, almost filling the hall and wearing armor on his wrists and shoulders, attacked him.
"You guys really underestimated me." Naruto spun around to see Jiraiya coming towards him, the woman slung over his shoulder unconscious. "I'm far better of taking care of women then they are of me."
"Heh, we didn't think that would stop you just stall you enough." The swordsman said with a grin as he brought his blade around.
"So you are after Naruto." Jiraiya said as he sat the woman down against the wall. Naruto wanted to know what was going on but knew he could get answers from Jiraiya later so he dropped into his fighting stance.
"I wondered how Kakashi knew about us." Itachi stated as he moved next to his partner. "It seems you were the source of the information." Jiraiya sent him a smirk. "Our orders were to abduct Naruto-kun."
Jiraiya frowned and stepped forward. "Well to bad for you I won't let that happen." Naruto shivered as he felt Jiraiya release some killing intent. "I would say to pass the message on to your leader but I won't be letting you two leave here alive." Suddenly Jiraiya went through several hand seals and slapped the ground. "Summoning: Toad Mouth Bind" The hallway suddenly turned into a strange pink flesh that seemed to be alive. "Itachi..Kisame..you two are now trapped in my stomach."
"What the hell is this?" Kisame said as he looked around and saw Sasuke's body being absorbed into the fleshy wall. Itachi looked around as well before turning to his partner.
"Come Kisame." Itachi said before dashing down the hall away from the Konoha shinobi, Kisame offered no retort and followed behind.
"Oh no you don't!" Jiraiya called out as he pumped more chakra into his jutsu and the walls began to close in. He smirked at the retreating shinobi but seconds after they turned a corner he frowned and jumped up, running to the corner and looking around. "What the hell?"
Naruto followed after the Sennin and when he moved around the corner he was the fleshy wall had been scorched and the hall window broken, as if someone jumped out of it.
"Damn." Jiraiya said under his breath before he ended the jutsu. "Naruto grab your friend and get into the room." Naruto had a dozen questions in his mind but followed the order, he could get his answers after he was sure Sasuke was alright.
