Rose POV

When we eventually got back to school grounds, I was being squeezed into a big group hug. Everyone started asking questions. Where were you? What happened? Why did you leave? Then the threats began: Don't you dare leave again. If you do that again I swear I will…

"Hey, everyone, let Rose breathe," Dimitri, said, always the responsible one.

"Sorry," everyone mumbled, even Christian.

"Rose? Can I talk to you for a sec?" Christian motioned me to follow him. Dimitri sent me a questioning look as if asking if I wanted him to follow. I shook my head, and followed Christian.

"I'm sorry, Rose," was the first thing he said. "I didn't want to cause any harm. All this is my fault. I messed up Dimitri, and I delayed your birthday party. I'm sorry."

"If you say you are sorry one more time I'm going to have a heart attack and then you can say you are sorry." I lighted the mood. Honestly, I forgave him. It was darkness' fault that I had lost control. I would have to find a solution for that problem, but now, I had to deal with a Pyro.

"Oh, in that case, I'm sorry." I punched him on his shoulder and smirked.

"Don't get all soft on my now, Pyro."

"I don't do soft, unless it's with Lissa and I'm sure you don't want to hear in what ways." I fake gagged.

"TMI! She's my best friend, you know?"

"Hey, I don't desire to see Dimitri and you suck face every five minutes either, nor do I want to know what you guys do behind doors." He made a face.

"Hey, at least I don't do the nasty in a church, funny how that's a turn on for you." I smirked.

"You don't wanna know what is." After another punch, harder this time, we head back towards the Academy and went into Adrian's room to resume the games.

"Okay, so what should we play next?" Adrian asked, while his arm was draped across Sydney's shoulders.

"Hmm…" I stretched out my pondering. "How about a scavenger hunt? Since you guys packed enough for a week, lets go camping and go scavenger hunting."

Everyone liked the idea. Lissa asked, "But who's going to hide the treasure?" Hm…

"How about we pull straws?" Adrian got up and got a whole bunch of straws, one for everybody.

"I go first!" I pushed everyone out of my way. I examined them carefully, and finally pulled one that looked convincing. Lissa was next, then Christian, then Dimitri, then Adrian, then Sydney, then Eddie, then Mia, and finally Vikka.

"Hell yeah, bitches! I won!" Christian exclaimed, raising his arms in the air.

"Whatever, Chrissie." I said, trying to hide the fact that I was jealous.

"Ooo!" He waved the straw in front of me, tempting me to do something about it. I snatched it away from him and whipped his ass with it. "Ow! Rosie, I knew you thought I was hot but I'm not interested in doing S&M with you."

"Eww! Gross, fire crotch! I'm getting sick just thinking about it. Besides," I batted my eyelashes at Dimitri, who got a heated look in his eyes, "my Comrade is the only one that gets to do anything with me."

"Roza," His lips were suddenly on me. I pushed back a moan and kissed him back with everything I had. I adjusted myself to press our chests together and explored the inside of his mouth, loving the way he made a sound at the back of his throat that ignited something inside me…

"Rosemarie!" An all too familiar voice called out. And that was voice was filled with disapproval, but a hit of amusement. I pulled away from Dimitri, and faced my parents. Abe was amused, and my mom was…

"Rose!" She threw her arms around me before I could say anything. I was stunned. My cold-hearted mother had finally done a motherly gesture towards me, and all I could do was stand there stiff.

"Don't you dare do anything like that again, you hear me? Why would you run away just like that? Do you have any idea what we had to go through? You didn't take your phone, nobody had any idea where you were, and nobody had seen you for a whole day! What were you thinking?" She finally stopped to catch her breath.

"Um, mom," I whispered, "you're chocking the life out of me." She only tightened her grip on me. I patted her back and felt my eyes start to sting.

"Aw, look at Rosie! She wooks lwike she wanna crwy!" I pushed my mom gently to the side and smacked Fire Torch on the back of the head.

"Shut up, Chrissie!"

"Ow! Lissa! She's bulling me!" He whined to her like a little girl. Oh. Wait, he is a little girl.

"You started." She said, and a sense of déjà vu came over me, like we'd been here before, joking around, and not me being consumed by darkness.

"Adrina! She's not listening to me!" Adrian stopped sucking face with Sydney long enough to say, "Can't you see I'm busy?" And then they went at it again.

"Why isn't anybody listening to me?" Christian yelled.

"Because nobody cares what you have to say, Sparky." He frowned, and I took that as a chance to keep telling them my plan.

"Okay, so, moving along. Chrissie here is the one who is doing the hiding so you should go with Eddie just in case you need protecting. And no, Lissa is staying with me; if we are going out of campus she needs to be protected, so Dimitri and I will have her back, and we'll take Adrian and Sydney along. Mia can go with Vikka." I was actually smug about how I had fixed it but then someone had to open her mouth.

"How come you get to take four people and I only get one?" Vikka sounded like a little girl who wanted the biggest piece of cake.

I opened my mouth to reply, yes, maybe even make her hurt a little but Dimitri beat me to it.

"Vikka, you have to understand that Moroi are to be protected, especially royal Moroi, and then there is an Alchemist, someone who can get rid of the bodies if needed. Mia can use water to protect herself, and you have some battle experience so it's a win-win situation. Eddie is pretty good so he's going with Christian and he's the most loyal one of us so he won't reveal anything that can lead us to finding the treasure."

My mother nodded her agreement. "I have to say the set up was well thought out, Rose. I'll take you guys outside the gates and pay for the place you'll be staying at with the Academy's funds. I'll go talk to the Headmistress now, and meet you guys in half an hour, until then you may do as you wish." Then she walked off like the badass guardian she was.

"So…Lissa, we have half an hour," Christian said suggestively, "we may want to take advantage of the situation, right?"

Lissa blushed. "Christian, behave." He tugged her closer and whispered something into her ear, and through the bond, I could tell she liked what he had said, if you know what I mean.

I faked gag. "See what I mean? Every five minutes."

That earned me a fireball thrown at me. Acting quickly, I used my stake like a bat and hit it back towards me. Without seeing where the fireball had gone, Christian simply made it dissolved into tiny little flecks of fire, making it look like stars were surrounding him and Lissa. Through the bond, I could tell Lissa found it magical and felt a surge of light and happiness go through her.

"Okay, enough excitement, lets go do our thing and then meet back here in," Dimitri glanced down at his watch, "twenty-five minutes now, thanks to Christian."

We all stood there for a while, in silence, and I broke first. I threw myself at Dimitri and wrapped my legs around his waist; giggling, as I saw everyone else do the same, save for Vikka. We all ran into our rooms and lets just say that nobody complained about the short amount of time.

Well that is that, hoped you liked, and remember that i am open to ideas. Until next time! :D
