The Dark Gate!
The Metal Bird zooms past more stars and cosmos, behind it the previous world known as the Dragon Realms. Strangely enough, Green is now the one piloting the ship, listening to the instructions as he does.
"That last world was definately something else." Said Red.
"Tell me about it. This is the second time that we took a beating from a reptile." Said Blue.
"And hopefully the last time." Said Green. "What's really bothering me is those keyholes."
"You mean the ones Red seals up everytime we find it?" Asked Blue.
"Exactly. What is their purpose, and why are people like Ripto looking for them?" Asked Green.
"Bowser was also looking for them, now that I think about it. Maybe Emma knows something about their importance." Said Red.
"Next stop Adlehyde?" Asked Blue.
Red and Green proceed to nod in unison. Green proceeds to activate the thrusters and the Metal Bird zooms off into another plethora of stars.
Meanwhile...
Back in the dark castle, three more individuals are shown to be watching the previous events from the Dragon Realms, ending with Ripto's apparent demise and the sealing of the second Keyhole.
"First Bowser was defeated and now Ripto, this is only getting worse as time goes by." Said the third individual.
"He is but a child, and yet the power he possesses is quite extraordinary." Said the seventh individual. "But ve need not vorry. As Ganondorf Said, Ripto let his hatred for dragons get the better of him."
"He's right, that stupid dinosaur had it coming the moment he got distracted from his real goal." Said the fifth individual in a low echoey voice.
"Don't you fools realize yet that as long as the Keyblade Bearer exists, everything that we've been working so hard to achieve will be for nothing!" Yelled the third individual. It's only a matter of time before the Keyblade Master and company walk on your doorsteps and eventually destroy you as well!"
"You vorry too much, Dr. Eggman." Said the 7th individual. "He vill never make it that far. The only reason why him and his dummkopf friends lasted this long vas by pure luck and coincidence."
"You two are fools, this whole Dark Circle is nothing more but a group of clueless idiots." Said the third individual, now known as Dr. Eggman. Dr. Eggman is shown to come into the light, revealing himself to be bald headed, with a pair of goggles looming over his head. He is shown to be wearing circular sunglasses, with a large pointed red nose, brimming with some wild spiked brown colored moustache. He is revealed to be wearing a red jacket with yellow sleeve tops and white stripes and yellow square shaped buttons on the side. Underneath the red jacket he is shown to be wearing a black uniform and black shoes also adorned with white stripes. "I don't care what Ganondorf will do to me, I refuse to go towards my own self destruction! If you want to throw your lives away, that's your business, I won't be partaking in this crap any longer!"
Dr. Eggman huffs and shakes his fists towards the other two individuals in the room with him before turning around and walking out the door.
"Worthless machinist." Said the fifth individual. "Over encompassed by his own paranoia."
"It's his loss. But now that he mentions it, vhere is Ganondorf?" Asked the seventh individual.
"Who knows, probably taking care of some other form of business with the other members." Said the fifth individual.
Meanwhile in some other room, we see Ganondorf in some sort of meditative stance, his entire body brimming with dark energy. His fists are embroiled with red energy, and he is shown to be reciting what seems to be some sort of wicked magical chant.
"Ani mo kasi dae ma kay thulu." Murmured Ganondorf. "Chaka na do shin...Ogo mara tani sey konen...NABA SHI! MO CHAY THARA!"
Ganondorf then proceeds to bring his two fists together and fires what seems to be a beam of dark energy. The dark energy crashes into what seems to be a large red gem. The gem begins to glow a menacing aura, revealing itself to be attached to what seems to be a stone structure resembling what seems to be a demon's skull. At the bottom of the skull is a yellow case of some strange liquid, which bubbles profusely as the gem glows.
"Gr...Still not enough power." Said Ganondorf.
"The Dark Gate will not open because you will it to, it needs more energy to be gathered for it to be opened." Said a strange voice in the darkness.
"My goal is not to open the Dark Gate, witch." Said Ganondorf. "Only to harness it's power."
"Nevertheless, the Dark Gate still hasn't drained enough energy or hearts to work at maximum capacity." Said a strange robed figure, the voice distorted, yet feminine in nature. The robe in itself seems to be pure black in color.
"That's absurd. How many hearts could it possibly need before opening?" Asked Ganondorf.
"As many as the Heartless can gather." Said the robed figure. "Of course, hearts filled to the brim with Light will also make for very suitable sacrifices."
"Easier said than done." Said Ganondorf. "Even now as we speak, the Keyblade Master and his companions have sealed yet another Keyhole.
"Nobody said this job would be easy." Said the robed figure. "What do you plan on doing about the Keyblade Master?"
"Seeing how he and his companions are essentially our main harvesters aside from the Heartless, I'll just let him go about their business for now. As soon as the Dark Gate's power is ready to be harnessed however..."
"You will eliminate them?" Asked the robed figure, with curiousity in her voice.
"But of course." Said Ganondorf with a smirk on his face.
"You shouldn't underestimate the Keyblade's might, it is the most powerful weapon ever to be forged by Light's power." Said the robed figure.
"Both the Keyblade and the Light are nothing compared to my power, this will be especially certain once I harness the Gate's power." Said Ganondorf. "I grow weary of this conversation with you, witch. Leave my sight."
"As you command, so shall it be." Said the robed figure. The robed figure is then shrouded by a black sphere and then disappears.
In yet another part of the castle, we are shown what seems to be another stone cauldron. The robed figure appears via black orb and moves toward the cauldron. The liquids inside the cauldron show a scene of the three Dex Holders flying the Metal Bird, talking amongst themselves.
"In the meantime however, I shall have my own fun." Said the robed figure. One of her hands proceeds to glow with blue energy. She brings it up close to her face. For a brief second, we see it resemble someone very familiar to the other three Dex Holders. Her eyes are shown to be blood red, and her hair raven black, but nonetheless familiar. She slams her fist into the cauldron, and the liquid inside begins to bubble sporadically.
Meanwhile back at the Metal Bird, it begins to sound off an alarm, and the entire cockpit glows red.
"Huh? What the?" Asked Green.
"Green, what is it?" Asked Blue.
"It's the Metal Bird, for some reason it's beginning to malfunction." Said Green.
"What?" Asked Red.
Green tries to do everything in his power to try and regain control of the ship, but to no avail.
"It's no use, I can't control it!" Said Green.
The Metal Bird begins to shake and spin.
"Hang on to something!" Screamed Red.
The Metal Bird's thrusters once again activate, and the ship boosts off into the distant unknown.
Back at the witch's quarters, she lifts her hand out of the cauldron and sits down, petting what seems to be some rat like creature.
"Wherever you three go is a mystery, just know that I'll be watching you three from here on out." Said the witch. Her eyes begin to glow a sinister red as she begins to give a slow, ominous laugh.
Comments: Who is this new character, and why is she in cahoots with Ganondorf and the Dark Circle? What could be so important about this Dark Gate, and where in the universe are the three Dex Holders going to show up next? Well fellow readers, you're going to have to read and find out. Sorry if it seems that I haven't uploaded in a while, it's just that the fan on my laptop broke and I can't afford a new one at the moment. So in the meantime I'm using a completely different computer entirely. I hope you guys understand, so once again, sorry.
