Epilogue
It's been a few months since the kidnapping but much has changed.
Daryan Crescend who was considering on using Machi as part of a plan to smuggle some Borginian Cocoons decided not to do that.
"Being back in action gave me time to think," he thought. "And it's not worth smuggling. Besides I don't want to disturb the happy family!" He smiled stroking his hair.
"I just hope that the lady can take Klavier's ego," he said. "The first case past the kidnapping, Klavier let his ego pop out at times. I hear he got several snackoos in his face. Come to think of it the kid was also on that case. I forgot the details though."
…
Ema Skye was walking into the predict.
"Well we finally managed to decipher Mr. Gavin's last words to Apollo," she said. "Apparently he was planning to poison the people that forged the evidence all those years ago." She turned to the side eating her snackoos.
"Man you should have seen the scene that the little girl made when we tried to take away the nail polish and stamp. But thanks to the Fop and Lamiroir we were able to replace the items. No further harm came to them though."
She picked at her hair.
"Fop was strong during the incident," she said. "It made me go easy on him during our next case together despite his big ego. Just goes to show it takes a lot more than a kidnapping to stop his ego."
…
Valant was looking through the glass at the detection center. Holding his staff.
"Well prison life is no pickle," Valant said. "But I will say that when I heard about Thalassa and her son, how happy I was. Thinking of her smile is worth a thousand years of prison." He put his hand on his hat.
"I will say to the mugger," he said. "That killing Zak is despicable and I hope you turn yourself in. Oh Zak getting yourself killed. I would've liked spending time in jail together catching up on old times and apologizing." He looked up.
"Well Thalassa, despite everything, did come back for advice on her upcoming concert. They still want to perform the little surprise Mr. Gavin mentioned to me earlier. I'll give details but finding another actress what a hassle." He spun his staff. "Ah that's show business for you." He began to laugh.
….
A little girl was biting her nails. She looked up.
"Thanks to this case I found out that my good luck charm wasn't really safe," she said. "But when I saw one of the Troupe Gramarye members-" she drew a happy face. "It was very exciting! I was even invited too her concert!" Her father stood next to her.
"Yes I'm afraid I won't be able to make it on the other hand," he said. "But I do wish my sincere apologies to the young man who was nearly killed. Had I known the use of that evidence all those years ago-"
"Father," Vera said. "You shouldn't feel bad. Though I never would have guessed that he would turn out to be a kidnapper let alone an almost murderer." She clung to her sketchbook. "But I did send a bouquet to the boy. He thanked me. He was quite handsome." She blushed.
"I-I can't wait for the concert," She said.
…
Edgeworth stood by his office.
"I was offered the position of chief prosecutor," he said smirking. "It's quite an honor really. And it is nice to see the incident around Wright wrapped up. Hopefully this can help with ending this Dark Age."
"Come to think of it," he said. "I do remember Wright mentioning a girl he met overseas once. Maybe she can help."
"Well I better be off to the academy," he said. "I have to give a speech to some of the students there."
…
"Ah glad you could make it," Klavier said to his guests. "Out little VIPS."
"Hello Mr. Gavin," Trucy said smiling. Everyone else was smiling too. "Hi Mom." Thalassa nodded.
"Trucy," she said putting on her shawl. "And Apollo."
"Mom," Apollo said. He looked a lot better than he did the past spring but he was very happy.
"Mrs. Gramarye," Clay Terran said. "I hope you have a good concert."
"Thank you," Thalassa said.
"Though it is highly irregular for me," Klavier said playing with his hair. "Giving out 5 free tickets."
"Well you can be nice sometimes," Ema said. "I'm also here for free, though I'm head of security." She hit Klavier with a snackoo.
"Hey I trust you Fräulein," Klavier said. "That last case was thrilling. Though admittedly I was surprised seeing you in court so soon Herr Forehead!"
"Could you quit with that name already," Apollo said. Clay laughed.
"Ah it's better than the ones at school though," Clay said. Apollo sighed.
"Well I hope you enjoy the concert," Klavier said. "Ema will show you guys to your seats."
"See you between sets," Trucy said smiling. She took Apollo's hand. "Come on Polly Daddy's waiting for us." Apollo smiled. "Bye Mom, bye Machi!"
"Bye-bye big sis," Machi said smiling. Lamiroir waved.
When it came time for the second act, the Wright Anything Agency was so excited. Apollo looked up in awe as his mother took the stage.
"This song goes out to some special people in the audience," Klavier said. "Achtung Baby! It's time for the Guitar's Serenade!"
The Devil: The End
AN: Well it's like the credits couldn't do all the characters. But I just wrapped up some plot holes.
Turnabout Corner is pretty much the only case that stayed in this alternate timeline. I guess it just goes to the Monstrous Turnabout or some other cases (Bound to be other murders).
Ah well The End! R&R
