When they arrived at Sasukes place they both were panting. They had run all the way from school to Sasukes place.
Sasuke took a deep breath ''Are you alright dobe?''
''Don`t…call…me…that'' Naruto rasped out. ''but, yeah…I`m alright just…out of breath.''
Sasuke smirked and slowly walked to his houses door silently praying that Itachi and Deidera weren`t home. He took a deep breath and opened the door. All he saw was a yellow blur and he was crushed in an iron hug. Sasuke cursed loudly in his mind.
''Deidera…can`t…breath….!'' he choked out. Deidera let him go with a sheepish smile.
''Boss?'' a quiet voice asked. While the two were staring, well more like Sasuke glaring and Deidera looking apologetic, at each other they didn`t notice the extra presence.
Sasuke groaned `could my luck get any worse?!` Deidera and Sasuke looked to the left where poor little Naruto was standing, not knowing what to do or say. Dideras eyes widened and his smile grew.
''Naru-chan!'' with that he ran over to Naruto and hugged him like he hugged Sasuke before, but this one was short lived.
''What are you doing here, Naru-chan?!'' Deidera asked with pure confusion and concern in his eyes.
Naruto looked a little nervous '' Well…the teme dragged me here…and one-chan doesn`t know I`m here, so please, don`t tell her tonight! I`ll call her and tell her I`m at one of my…friends house studying!'' he almost begged his boss.
Deidera blinked in surprise. Naru-chan never begged for anything! Something was up, he could feel it.
''Why did Sasu-chan drag you here?'' He raised an eyebrow.
''Um…b-because'' Naruto stuttered '' because we have to finish and assignment in math'' Sasuke finished lying for Naruto.
''Uh-hu'' Deidera said not believing what they said but let it slide for now.
Sasuke rolled his eyes, took Naruto by the wrist and dragged him inside the house ignoring Deideras whining for ignoring him, but as luck would have it, they both ran straight into Itachi. By now Sasuke cursed the whole universe for being against him.
''Where are you going in such a rush Sasu-'' Itachi stopped in mid sentence because he then saw Naruto.
What Naruto saw was a more muscular and more intimidating version of Sasuke. It`s a good thing that he has faced someone like him only with less muscles but she was scary when angry. Naruto shuddered at that.
''Sasuke why is-'' Itachi was stopped mid sentence by his lover. Deidera saw everything from the front door and he knew nothing good will come out of that meeting so he thought of a way to save Sasuke and Naruto. He had ran to Itachi, grabbed him by the arm and dragged him to the far end of their room, muttering something about Itachi helping him decide what to wear to the club. Naruto and Sasuke just looked after them.
''Sasuke…What just happened?'' Naruto asked still watching the place where the older Uchiha stood.
''I don`t know, but lets go before they come back. I don`t want to deal with them anymore''
''Huh, why-'' Naruto couldn`t finish his sentence as Sasuke started to drag Naruto upstairs to his bedroom. Unknown to anyone, Sasuke was enjoying the times where he could touch his little kistune. It sent lightning bolts through his body.
In less then a minute they both were in Sasukes room. Sasuke locked the door as Naruto stumbled in.
''Hey! You didn`t need to throw me inside ya jerk!'' Naruto growled at Sasuke, who only shrugged his shoulders. Naruto growled again, but he started to look around the temes room.
It was a fairly large room, a bit bigger than his, and it was in a dark blue color. The curtains were a light blue color. Sasukes room had a desk that was full of books and some other things. The bed was big for two persons to sleep in; the covers were a mix of light and dark brown. Across from the bed was a big books self that was full with pictures and books.
''So,'' Naruto started still looking around, ''why did ya drag me here?''
Sasuke looked at Narutos back '' I took you here because this is the safest place for now. If you had gone home the Snake bastard would have jumped you on the way there.'' Sasuke stated calmly.
''Oh.'' `Is that all I can say?! Oh?! What is wrong with you Uzumaki? You should have had a snappy comeback!` Naruto thought angerly(?).
''What did he do to you?'' Sasuke asked out of the blue. That brought Naruto out of his thoughts.
''What?'' he asked a bit confused.
''What did that bastard do to you before I came in?!'' you could hear anger seeping into the temes words.
''…He didn`t anything, you came at the right time.'' Naruto smiled a bit.
''Naruto.'' Sasuke stressed the dobes word indicating that he didn`t believe him.
''It`s the truth!'' Naruto said a bit nervously, stepping back when Sasuke advanced. Soon he found himself trapped between the wall and Sasuke. Sasuke on the other hand was weary careful with the dobe, one wrong move and the dobe could go into panic mode – he didn`t want that. So when Naruto was pressed against the wall, he stopped a foot away from him so he could escape if he wished to.
''Naruto, please, tell me what did he do.'' Naruto was shocked. Sasuke said please. He had never heard the teme ask /beg him for anything. Naruto looked in Sasukes eyes and saw concern and anger in them. He sighed, what could he do? Sasuke was concerned for him and angry at Orochimaru.
''Maybe I should rephrase it. Where did he touch you?'' Sasuke pulled Naruto out oh his mussing. Naruto looked away a tiny blush crept on his cheeks.
''He…He touched me…down there…with his leg…'' Naruto said quietly and started to shake a bit by the memory alone. Sasukes eyes widened and he growled lowly `Well at least it was only with a leg and not a hand`, but when he saw Naruto shaking he quickly hugged him. Naruto on the other hand flinched in the hug and tried to get away, but Sasuke would have none of that so he started to whisper promises in Narutos ear. Naruto started to relax a bit.
''Thank you Sasuke,'' Naruto quietly said in Sasukes shoulder, ''for being there for me when I needed someone.''
Naruto couldn`t see it but Sasuke smiled a true smile ''Your welcome Naruto.'' They stayed like that for a while before Sasuke remembered something. He slowly pulled away and looked Naruto straight in the eyes.
''Naruto…Why, why did you want to meet me in the park tomorrow?''
Narutos eyes widen and he blushed a light shade of red ''W-well…Um…How should I put this…'' he stammered on and Sasuke patiently waited for him to explain his intentions. Naruto took a deep breath
'' At the park I will ask you a question that can and will change my life, you can run away, but then your answer would be a no…'' he looked away. He didn`t want Sasuke to see the sadness in his eyes, the thought alone was painful but he needed to wait till tomorrow.
''What kind of question?'Sasuke asked. He was a little afraid because he could change his little kitsunes life with his answer.
Naruto shook his head '' You will find out tomorrow after school.''
Sasuke growled a bit ''Tell me now dobe. I want to think about your question now so I could give you an answer that I won`t later on regret.''
''No can do teme.'' Naruto stuck out his tongue childishly and Sasuke snapped.
''Sasuke, what are ya- GAH!'' Naruto yelped as Sasuke dragged and tossed him on his bed then he quickly jumped on Naruto pinning him down.
''Teme! What the heck do you think you`re doing?!'' Naruto growled lowly in his throath, the thing with the snake long forgotten.
''You will tell me or I`ll force you.'' Sasuke growled, matching Naruto.
Naruto glared ''You won`t make me! I will not tell you anything, only tomorrow you will know!''
Sasuke too glared, '' Then I won`t go.'' He stated calmly.
''Y-you what?'' Naruto choked out. Sasuke wasn`t serious was he? He wouldn`t do that to me, would he? Naruto could feel tears coming but he willed them back.
''I won`t go to the park if you don`t tell me your question right now.'' Sasuke knew he was gambling in knowing and being left in the dark, but he really wanted to know, he didn`t want to make his secret love to be miserable.
''You have to come! You have to!'' Naruto was full out crying now. He needed Sasuke to come! He knew if the teme would at least come to the park he would have a chance to ask him again and Shadow would allow it, but if he didn`t come then all his hopes would die. Somehow he got out of Sasukes hold and was now hugging the surprised Uchiha.
''N-Naruto?!'' Sasuke asked shocked. He didn`t know that the dobe would cry in front of him! But the question now was why? Why does he want him to go to the park so badly? `Okay, this will be a low blow, but I need to know.` Sasuke thought then sighed `I hope he forgives me afterwards…`
''Listen Naruto. I will go to the park if you tell me your question.'' Sasuke gulped a bit as Naruto stiffened against him. After some seconds Naruto sighed and pulled away, Sasuke already missed Narutos warmth, and looked at Sasuke with red, puffy eyes.
''O-Okay, I-I`ll tell you, '' he sniffed, ''but don`t tell me your answer and after I tell you I`m heading back home'' Sasuke just nodded and waited for the question.
`I`m going to regret this` Naruto thought sadly and took a deep breath for confidence.
''I wanted to ask you if you like me more than a friend or a brother.'' Naruto turned his head away, feeling more tears coming, but he took a quick glance at Sasuke from the corner of his eye. And that was a bad idea. Sasuke had a blank expression on and Naruto saw it as a bad sign, so he did the best thing he could do – run away.
''I…I`ll see ya tomorrow, maybe…Bye.'' Naruto quickly got out of the bed and walked to the bedrooms door, but before he could reach the handle he was grabbed by the shoulders and turned around. Thinking that he was going to be hit, he closed his eyes, waiting for pain, but what he didn`t expect was a soft pair of lips on his own.
So…here was chapter 19. When the next one will be up? Um…at the end of October…maybe?
