I jumped up and started crying, I ran my hands over my face. "Hey. What's wrong?" Jesse asked. He was sitting on the bed next to me watching TV. He touched my arm lightly and I flinched, scared. He noticed. "Colleen, are you ok?" He asked. I got up quickly and went into the bathroom locking it. I looked at the clock before I went in '4:12.'

"Colleen! Come on! Open up! You're scaring me!" He shouted trying to open the door.

"Why do you care Jess. You're with Katie!"

"What?! When? I haven't seen Katie sense the Lea incident."

"Jesse! How can you lie when I just saw you! You hit me and now…"

"Whoa! I never hit you! I would never hit a girl…especially you and you know that. What the hell are you talking about you just saw me with Katie? You were sleeping Colleen. You didn't just see me and the only way I know you were sleeping was because I was here watching you sleep, I wasn't with Katie." I looked into the mirror my face was beat red from me crying. 'Colleen it was all a dream! How could you be so stupid, thinking it was real!' I thought. "I AM NOT with Katie. Colleen I am in love with you!"

"Jesse. I'm sorry." I said still crying.

"Open the door." He said. I unlocked the door and opened it slowly. I saw him standing there looking every emotion possible. He hugged me and I cried harder hugging back putting my face into his chest. He was tearing up, I could tell. We somehow we ended up on the floor. I was sitting in his lap. I had my forehead on his neck and I was playing with his shirt. My legs were underneath his one arm and his other hand was rubbing my back. I settled down, a lot. I stopped crying and we were just sitting there in complete silence. "Babe?"

"Wa?" I asked a little louder then a whisper.

"I need to know what that was about…please?" 'Ding dong.' The door bell rang (As if it wasn't obvious.)

"I got it!" Shanna yelled.

"I can't right now. I don't even know." I said to Jesse truthfully.

"When your ready. Let me know."

"Kay." We got up and I hugged him.

Jesse's P.O.V.

That was really weird. I don't even know what that was. I cant believe she thinks I cheated on her, worse yet...hit her. I watched her walk out of the room. I ran my fingers through my hair, I held my neck and shook my hair trying to forget about it. I walked down stairs and found out it was just my family plus Sherry that I invited over for dinner, hopefully Colleen doesn't mind. I started talking to my mom and Sherry about some things and looked at Colleen every now and then. She was acting normal. She was sitting with Shanna, Ryan, Lea, and Timmy. But I noticed every time no one was paying attention to her she would space off.

"Hey Jess, Can me and Lea go swimming?" Timmy asked.

"Yeah buddy." I said walking to the back door to see if there were any towels. I saw Colleen sitting there looking out at the ocean. I opened the back door and stepped out. "But you need to grab towels." I shouted in to the house. I closed the back door and sat down in front of Colleen and studied her face. I didn't want to ask her about before because I already told her, when she was ready, I didn't want to push it so I just asked "Are you ok?" She shrugged without looking at me. She was looking straight out at the ocean, she blinked a couple of times before saying "I don't know." It felt like that was where I should leave it so I got up saying "Well, I'm here." I was walking back to the back door. I ran my hand through my hair again and held my neck. I really wanted to know what she was thinking.

"Jesse?" I heard her say sounding like she was going to cry. I stopped and put my hand down with a sigh. I mouthed 'thank you.' "It was a bad dream…but I swear to god it felt so real! I'm sorry." She said. I turned around to look at her.

"Are you ready to tell me what was it about?" I asked walking back to sit in the chair.

"Jesse I…"

"Colleen tell me…" I whined. She nodded a little and then looked at me.

"I woke up and you Ryan and Shanna weren't there. So, I went down stairs and you, Katie and Greg came in…" Lea and Timmy came out yelling about something. I looked over.

"Guy's quiet down or go back inside for a second." Lea looked at me weird and then looked at Colleen, she made an 'oh' face.

"Hey…let's go back inside for a little bit." She said to Timmy as she turned him around.

"What? No, I wanna swim."

"And I want to go back inside. Come on."

"Ughh!" Timmy yelled going back inside. As soon as lea shut the door I looked at Colleen. She was looking the other way crying silently. I put my hand on her knee comforting her, which I noticed made her jump a little.

"Ok it's not an option anymore. You need to tell me what it was about." I said. She looked at me.

"You guys came in and I was so confused. Because we obviously weren't together, you and Katie were. And I asked were Ryan and Shanna were and you said you dropped them off at the airport and that you would have dropped me off but I was sleeping. And I asked why I would want to leave with them, I was only there for you. You sorda didn't like that…neither did Katie. But some how I wound up calling Katie a slut and you guys didn't like that either. You said some stuff and got really mad…I know, it's stupid."

"It's not stupid. What did I say?"

"It's too hard to tell you Jesse. It's not easy for me to think about you like that."

"Like what?"

"Like you're…Jason."

Colleen's P.O.V.

I saw Jesse's face get red when I said that, I know he really does not want to be compared to Jason, nobody would, but in the dream that's how it felt. "I'm not Jason." He said standing up.

"I know Jesse and that's why it's so hard for me to tell you this. I never saw you as him. I never once thought about you hurting me, that's why I am acting so emotional over this…Where are you going?" I asked as he walked to the door.

"You're gonna tell me what I said. I'm going to beat his ass…if it wasn't for Jason you wouldn't be seeing me in those dreams. You wouldn't even be having those dreams." He walked in the house. I sat back in the chair. 2 minutes later Jesse came out with pen and paper in hand. "Write it down and I'll be back." He walked back inside. Lea and Timmy came out and went in the pool and I got to thinking how to put it in a note and decided on…

(A/N: Sorry if this note is stupid but how else would I put it…)

'Jesse you told me I wasn't good enough to be your girlfriend and that you didn't even know why you were friends with me…you told me you loved Katie and not me. I asked why you were being an ass and you don't even need me to describe what you did to me.

I love you Jesse. I don't care if you hate me. I will never stop loving you- Colleen'

I left the note on the table. I ran down the beach a little bit. I didn't want to go home, I wanted to stay with Jesse but I needed sometime to myself. I stopped, looked back to see how far I was. I was a good distance from the house so I sat down. It was still light out so if Jesse wanted to he could find me.

Jesse's P.O.V

I walked out to see if Colleen wrote anything. She did but she was missing. I read it and then read the last line over again… I love you Jesse. I don't care if you hate me. I will never stop loving you- Colleen.

"Lea!" I shouted at her with tears flooding my eyes.

"Yeah?" She said turning around. "Ohmygod. Jesse, are you ok?"

"Yeah. Did you see where Colleen went?"

"Yeah. She walked down the beach that way…" She said pointing behind her to the right.

"Thanks." I ran past her down the beach. I looked up and saw her sitting there 50ft away. I slowed down and looked at the letter in my hand. I tore off the last line. I got to her and sat down next to her. I was crying. "This…This is what I said to you?" She nodded. "Don't believe it. None of it's true!" I said getting even more upset. I folded it up and ripped it. "Forget about it, forget about the dream, and don't ever think I would hit you!" I said grabbing her neck and kissing her hard but passionately. She was crying to. "This right here…This goes both ways. Don't ever forget this." I said showing the half I tore off. "Got it?" I asked. She nodded intently. Still crying but not so hard. "I love you so damn much!!" I said kissing her again. We smiled into the kiss. We pulled away.

"I love you too." I put my arm around her and she rested her head on my shoulder. We sat there and watched the sunset.
