Another Heart Calls
Chapter 21
"Home?" I whispered again.
"Yes. Do you like it?" Garrett asked with trepidation.
"Like it?" I turned to Garrett. "I love it!" I jumped into his arms.
"This is why I've been working so much. Once Pops and Dad found out, they helped and Pops knew a good decorator, we told him your tastes and here we are." He swept his arms around the entrance.
"Oh Garrett, this is the sweetest thing. Thank you for sacrificing your time for our family. I'm sorry I was such a bitch." I kissed him passionately and he started walking up the stairs.
"Where are we going?"
"We're going to our room to christen it." He wiggled his eyebrows.
We made love all night and in the morning again.
"Sawyer is going to love it here." Garrett smiled. "Would you like a tour?"
Garrett gave me the naked house tour as he called it, stopping to make love here and there throughout the house.
"I've got to have you on the counter." He lifts me onto the kitchen counter where we proceed to go at it hard and fast, even a little rough, biting each other and pulling hair; afterwards we were spent. "Let's go take a nap." Walking hand and hand, we climb the stairs to our room and take an early morning nap, only for me to wake up with Garrett between my legs.
"What's gotten into you?" I moaned.
"I've finally achieved something that is for us. I finally feel like I'm the husband you need. I feel the need to mark you, stake my claim."
"I'm yours. Forever."
We made love once more before we washed each other.
"When do we officially move in?" I asked as we made our way back to my dad's house.
"As soon as you can get packed. Everything else is ready. And we're only a few blocks from your dad's house too."
"This is the best gift ever." I squeezed his hand.
Walking in the front door we heard yelling and looked at each other; walking towards the voices it became clear the Esme was somehow here.
"I don't have to spend any more time with you! I'm an adult now and I can officially tell you to fuck off!" Edward yelled at her.
We walked in and looked at everyone.
"Where's Sawyer?" I asked.
"Angela picked him for school, when she-devil showed up." My Dad spat towards Esme.
"I want what's right for my son! You've turned him against me!" Esme yelled at Pops.
"What?" Edward started laughing. "You, you turned me against you."
"Look!" I spoke up. "Esme, you shouldn't even BE welcome in our home after being with James' family."
"You have no say so here you little tramp!"
"That's it! I want you out! I want nothing to do with you. Don't contact me again!" Edward told Esme and she was surprised.
"You're picking them over me?" She gasped.
"Of course. They've been here for me. Bella is my sister, no one will talk about her like that and you ruined Pops life for years." Edward walked towards the front door. "Now, please leave and don't return."
After Esme picked up her mouth, she stomped out and got into her rental car.
"How the hell did she show up here?" I asked. "And why are you here?" I shook my head in confusion.
"I have a huge exam and came home to study. Esme has been calling and texting for weeks, I've ignored her." Edward shook his head. "I didn't know she would be here, she showed up about 10 minutes before you, throwing all these accusations, she'd come to confront Pops."
"Wow! That's crazy. Where's Molly?" I asked looking around.
"She had to stay behind. She has a group performance for one of her exams, so she had to practice. I'll only be here for the weekend. Plus, I want to see this house Garrett's been bragging about." Edward smirked.
"You knew?"
"Yep! That's why I was smiling when we last left. The plans were awesome."
"It's beautiful. Garrett did great!"
"Well, now that we're all here, let's get some food and then Edward can study until dinner."
The next few months flew by, I was five months pregnant and we were going to find out how things were going and hopefully what we were having. Garrett thinks a girl, but I think another boy.
"Garrett, Bella. It's so good to see you." Our doctor greeted. "Are you ready to meet your baby?"
"Yes!" we said in unison.
After all the initial pictures and Garrett's asking a million questions, we were going to try and see our baby.
"OK. Bella, it looks like you're right. You've got another boy, you'll be due on December 5th." The doctor smiled.
"As long as the baby and Bella are healthy, I'm happy." Garrett smiled.
We called everyone and told them the good news and we were met with congratulations all around. Alice was a little sad we weren't having a girl, but I assured her in a couple years we'd try again.
We picked Sawyer up from school and Angela told us that she was flying to see Jasper in a couple weeks, because Christmas wasn't going to work out.
"That's great! What's going on at Christmas though?" I asked.
"He said he may have to go silent due to a mission."
"Oh, I hadn't heard that." I frowned.
"He just found out. So, we're trying to get together." Angela smiled shyly.
"Well I'm sorry you won't be together for Christmas, but you'll be seeing him sooner. That's a plus." Angela laughed.
"Yeah, I'm excited. I hope he's the one Bella. We've shared so much over these last few months."
"I know he talks about you non-stop and your packages you send him."
"Well, I want to make sure he's got good food to eat, so I send him cookie mixes that only require like 2 ingredients and when he gets them, he calls and we bake together. It's silly, but it's us."
"Angela, I can tell you that Jasper has never been like this with another girl before, so I think you're safe." I hugged her tight.
"I'll see you tomorrow. Thanks Bella."
Driving Angela to the airport we talked about our guys and what she hoped happened over the next week with Jasper.
"I'm excited to get to know him better. We've talked almost every day since we parted, but I think face to face it will be much more intimate and I'm scared too."
"What are you afraid of?" I asked.
"What if he wants to sleep together? I'm not ready for that." Angela whispered.
"Then tell him if it goes that far. Don't give in to pressure… But I don't think you'll have anything to worry about." I assured her, and I'd make sure I told Jasper that as soon as I called him to tell her she was boarded safely.
