Hi guys! So last week everyone was formally introduced to my One True Pairing and I just had to put them in my story so... Love is in the air who is it going to effect? I also love song references (part of the reason I love the episode Ariel!) so they're two in here. Can you spot them? Regina looked at the clock in her office and saw that it was 4:45. She smiled. Evening visiting hours at the hospital started in 15 minutes. She picked up a stack of files and stood up. Her plan was to go home and put them away before going to see Annie. She stood up an walked out of her office. She passed by her secretary and waved goodbye. She was looking down at her papers as she opened the door to the outside so didn't see the man until she ran into him dropping all of her files.

"Oh I'm so sorry." He said. Regina bent down to pick up her papers. Any other time she would have yelled at whoever it was she ran into telling them to watch where they were going but ever since Annie woke up things had begun to change inside of her. "No it was my fault." She said. He kneeled down and started picking up papers too. "Here let me help you." He picked up the few that were left and handed them to her. "Thank-" she started to say as she looked up at the man. She stared into crystal blue eyes and was mesmerized at how his dark hair blew softly in the wind and she couldn't help but notice how handsome his features were. She quickly shook herself out of the trance and extended her hand. "Thank you um..."

"Robin." He said shaking her hand. "Robin of Luxley." She smiled.

"Thank you Robin." She said. She walked past him and continued down the street.

*Flashback

As Annie walked down the road paved of yellow bricks she grew bored so she started to do other things. She played hopscotch for sometime, she skipped singing a little song, she jumped and even hopped on one foot for a spell. She was doing this when she heard a voice.

"Hello." It said. She turned around and there on a pole was a scarecrow.

"Woah a scarecrow that talks!" She said. The scarecrow looked confused.

"You're not scared of me?" He said. She walked closer.

"Scared of you? Why would I be scared of you?" She asked.

"Well... I talk and most people think that's scary." He said.

"How do you know?" She asked.

"Well they run away screaming." He said sadly. Annie saw how lonely he looked.

"You know I'm on my way to see this wizard person do you want to come?" She asked. The scarecrow nodded his head excitedly. "Sure! Do you think you could help me down first?"

"Oh, ok." She started to walk over to him. "You know your small for a scarecrow."

"Im not small I'm 10!" He said.

"And I'm nine." She pushed one of his arms over the side of the pole. "Just because your 10 and a boy doesn't mean that your big." She pushed his other arm over and he fell to the ground. "Oh I'm sorry!" She ran over to him and helped him up.

"What's your name?" He asked standing up.

"Annie." She said. "But one of the munchkins said I looked more like a Dorothy." The scarecrow thought about this for a moment. "They were right you do look more like a Dorothy."

"Well you know my name what's yours?" Annie said.

"Jacob but most people call me Jake." He looked around. "So how are we supposed to get to this wizard?"

"Well, we just have to ease on down the road." Annie hooked arms with Jake and they were off to see the wizard.

*end flashback

Annie flipped the page of the comic book she was reading and anxiously bit her fingernails. It was a nasty habit she had picked up after coming back from Oz but she had tamed so she only did it in great times of stress and Thor going up against his brother Loki was stressing her out big time. She had asked for more comics after finishing the Captain America series (in record time apparently). After reading a few others she found that she liked the Marvel comics better than the rest Iron Man and the invisible woman being her favorite characters. She looked up as she heard the door open and saw a taller boy with darker hair and skin that was a little yellower than usual.

"Hey kid." He said coming to sit on the bed next to her.

"Why hello scarecrow." She said coyly putting an emphasis on the word scarecrow. He laughed and shook his head. "I thought I told you to stop calling me that."

"And I told you to stop calling me kid. I'm only a year older than you remember?" Jacob watched her as she set the comic book down. When she smiled it didn't reach her eyes and when she moved he noticed a slight tremble in her.

"So how are you, really?" He asked. She looked up at him.

"To be honest not good. I did something yesterday and i don't how I did it." He cocked his head.

"What exactly did you do?" He asked.

"When I was having another hallucination these nurses and doctors came in to try and sedate me so I wouldn't hurt myself when they did I sort of pushed them." She said.

"I'm sorry I'm not seeing what's wrong here." He said. Annie leaned forward.

"Jake, I never touched them." She said. Jake's eyes widened.

"So was it like magic?" He asked. She shrugged.

"I don't know but because of that I can't leave for another day. I'm surprised they let you in, I'm not really supposed to have visitors." Jake smiled.

"I'm good friends with the staff." Annie laughed but tears came to her eyes.

"Hey don't cry." Jake cupped her cheek with his hand and brushed a tear away with his thumb.

"I'm scared Jake." She said.

"Come here." He pulled her into his arms and she let him hold her. It had been a long time since they had seen each other and she remembered everything that they had went through together in Oz. She was still surprised though when he kissed the top of her head. "I kind of have to go, I'll see you tomorrow though ok?"

"Ok." Annie said. She watched him leave then went to sleep.

Later in the evening Emma was surprised to find Henry at her door. "My mom told me to come." He said. Emma raised and eyebrow. "Really? Regina told you to come?" Henry had to admit it was a little odd for his mother but he was going to take full advantage of it.

"Are you saying you don't want me?" He asked. Emma quickly shook her head.

"No of course I do kid come on in."

Whale sat in his cell staring at the wall. He hadn't meant to taunt the queen but just knowing he had hurt her had made him stupid with happiness.

"That's what you get for not sending me back to my brother." He whispered harshly to the air. Suddenly he saw a cloud of purple smoke and Regina appeared.

"Wha- what are you doing here?" He asked. Regina laughed.

"Did you seriously think I was done with you?" Whale cowered against the wall as she walked towards him. She yanked him up by his collar. "I told you, you would pay." She said. She pushed him against the wall and vines covered with needles pinned him there. He screamed when she pushed one of the needles into his gunshot wound. She smiled and laughed menacingly.

"Please! I'm sorry! I'll do whatever you want just don't kill me!" He pleaded. Regina scoffed. "Kill you? Who said anything about killing? No I just needed you to stay still so I can take this." She plunged her hand into his chest and pulled out his heart. Her face darkened and she leaned in close to his ear.

"If you even think about coming near one of my kids again, just remember, all I have to is squeeze." she tightened her grip on his heart and he groaned "Got it?" He nodded. She smiled sweetly. "Good. Then I think we're done here." She waved her hand and the vines disappeared along with her. Leaving Whale all alone again.
