Chapter 20

" Good morning Anakin and how are you feeling this morning?" Dayanna came into the bedroom with a tray of food.

" Good morning Dayanna, I am doing ok at the moment, mmm that smells good." Anakin opened his eyes and saw Dayanna coming into the room with his breakfast.

" Thank you, do you need anything for your pain that you are in, and do not give me that look, because I do know that you are in pain Anakin Skywalker." Dayanna came up to the bed and saw Anakin wince in total pain as he struggled to sit up.

Putting the tray down on the nightstand and then leaned over and helped Anakin to sit up, before picking up the tray and putting it onto his lap.

" I do not need anything." Anakin winced again as he tried to scoot up a little bit more.

" Do not give me that crap, you are in pain, because not only do I see it on your face but I feel it, I will be right back with your medicines and I want you to take all of them." Dayanna gave him a stern look along with a smile.

" I should have remember that I could never hide anything from you, and you are right I think I should take something for the pain." Anakin just nodded as he took the cover off of his plate and saw the eggs and the meat that as on the plate.

Dayanna nodded at him before walking out of the room and headed down to the kitchen where Anakin Jr. was sitting at the table eating his breakfast.

" How is daddy doing?" Anakin Jr. asked as Dayanna came into the kitchen.

" He is doing better, but he is still having some pain and maybe after breakfast you can see him but only for a few minutes because he needs to rest." Dayanna went over to the small box that was locked and began getting the medicine that Anakin need.

" Ok mommy." Anakin Jr. smiled at his mother as he watched her get the medicine for Anakin.

Once Dayanna had everything she needed for Anakin's pain she went back to the bedroom and found Anakin finishing up the last bit of his breakfast.

" Ok here is your pain medicine, um . . . Anakin Jr. asked me if he could see you but I told him only for a few minutes because I know that pain medicine will start to kick in about twenty minutes, well I must go and see to Alyxis, but I will be back soon to help you lay back down." Dayanna handed Anakin the medicine then taking the tray just as they heard the baby start crying.

" Ok thanks and it would be great to see my son, well do not keep our daughter waiting, and see you soon then." Anakin smiled up to Dayanna just before he winced in pain as there was pain in his chest as he tried to move down some so he could lay down.

Dayanna smiled back then headed out of the room just as Anakin Jr. came up to the door and she motion for him to go inside the room so he could visit his father.

Dayanna walked into the nursery and went over to the crib and picked up Alyxandra and carried over to the changing table so that way she could have a clean diaper and clothes before going over to the chair and sitting down to feed her.

" Hey mommy, um . . . daddy is asleep now, can we go to the park and play?" Anakin Jr came into the room.

" Ok that is good that he is asleep again, we can go but only for a hour so that way I can make lunch and check on daddy now go get dress and when I am done here then we can go to the park." Dayanna smiled at her son, and she could see so much of Anakin in him, thank goodness the only thing that is missing is the ability to use the Force.

The young boy ran out of the bedroom and down the hall to his room, so that way he could get dress and then he headed to the living room and waited for Dayanna to come into the room so they can leave for the park.

An hour later Dayanna and the kids came back to the house and they found Anakin sitting on the couch watching the Holo-net.

" Hey, how are you feeling and you really should be in bed." Dayanna gave Anakin a stern look when she saw him out of bed.

" Hey, I was wondering where you guys went too, and I got tired of laying in bed so I came out here to watch some shows." Anakin gave Dayanna his boyish smile.

" I took the kids to the park for a little while, let me get them clean up then I will fix you some lunch." Dayanna picked Alyxandra out of the stroller.

" That sounds like fun, I will watch her for you while you help Kin get cleaned up for lunch." Anakin reached out for his daughter.

" Ok, that sounds good, and I will have to change her diaper and I will feed her after I get everybody's lunch done." Dayanna watched Anakin Jr. run down the hallway to head to the refresher so that way he could get cleaned up for lunch.

Thirty minutes later both kids were in bed taking their naps and Dayanna managed to get Anakin back to bed so that way he could get some rest.

" Dayanna I have a huge question for you, um . . . when I leave here I would like for you to come with me, but the only thing is the kids will not be able to come with us because we will be on a star destroyer." Anakin laid his head down and started yawning because of the medicine that he had taken was making him very sleepy.

" Oh I see, well Anakin I will have to give a lot of thoughts, because I really have not been too far with my babies." Dayanna looked at him with sadness on her face, because she really wants to be with Anakin, but she does not want to leave the kids behind.

" I understand well I need to sleep now." Anakin began to drift off sleep.

Dayanna came up to the bed and leaning down she not only tucked the sheets around Anakin but she kissed him on the forehead.

Dayanna left the guestroom and headed down the hall way for her bedroom and she laid down for a mid-afternoon nap.
