Jasmine was sitting on one of the couches in the dark pit where every suckhead that resided in the building was currently. Since it was still light outside, everyone was still in the crowded and dark basement so that they could dance graphically and basically participate in an almost orgy, although there were definitely places where things were a bit passed 'slightly'. Jasmine glared at the others that were bathed in a purple light. 'Fuckers,' she thought to herself as she inched away from a couple that had decided to use the couch she was on to have their fun on.
She hated all of this. Why was she even here again? Oh yeah, that one kid from her college history class who invited her to a party here. What an asshole. She moved over again as the couple became more intense and she groaned to herself. God this place was awful.
All of a sudden, the lights came on and the music shut off. People stopped dancing and started looking around, trying to find the source that halted their fun. Jasmine sighed in relief, that is, until one of the many biddies in the room screamed and people started running out of the room. Shit, she thought to herself as she moved to hide behind the couch. People were turning to ash as they tried to flee the room. What the heck?
"Excuse me, miss?"
Jasmine whipped her head to the side and saw a man with a well-groomed beard kneeling next to her.
She tried to scoot away, but the man just got closer. "Who are you?"
"Listen, against my better judgement, I am here to get you out of here." The man grabbed Jasmine's arm and began leading her to the door.
"No! No!" She struggled to get away from him and the door. There was no way she was going out like that!
"Jasmine! Jasmine!" A female voice called to her.
Jasmine looked around and saw a woman covered in a black and red costume and gripping a dagger in her hand get closer to her. "Stay away from me!"
"Jasmine!" The woman lifted up part of her costume covering her face. "Jasmine! It's Andi."
"Andi?"
"Yeah, you need to go with him. We're getting you out of here." Before I could finish saying that, Hannibal pulled Jasmine out the door.
"Behind you!" I heard Wade call, and I spun and slashed my dagger through the throat of the suckhead coming up behind me.
"Thanks Wade! On your left!"

Johnny was lying on his stomach with his sniper pointed at the entrance of the pier. He was on the top of the Honeycomb Hideout, with Caulder in a similar position on the roof of the pier. Zoe and Anita were inside the barge, safely tucked away in the weapons room…just in case.
"They should have been back by now." Johnny whispered into the radio in his ear.
"Not everything always goes according to plan." Caulder reasoned in his ear. "They probably hit a snag and were delayed a couple minutes."
"I don't like this."
"I know, but we really don't have any other choice."
"We could've gone with them, Caulder. Having us sit here waiting is ridiculous and pointless." Johnny was never very patient.
"I know that's how it seems, but you've just got to trust me that Hannibal's plans tend to work out, even if not to a 'T'. We are here in case something doesn't go right and vamps come after the barge. Without us, Zoe and Anita would be defenseless."
"I know." Johnny sighed, looking away from his sniper for a moment. "It's just…Andi isn't indestructible."
Caulder had a small smile on. "I know. But taking a look at her track record, I think she will be alright. And even if she is not, then Wade and Hannibal will have her back."
Johnny shook his head. "You're right. I'm just being stupid-"
Caulder let out a soft chuckle. "Nah, you're just worrying. And that's not a bad thing. Sometimes it's good to worry, especially when you know that the person you are worrying about, isn't worrying about themselves."
~.~.~.~.~.~.~
"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" Hannibal yelled as I continued heading up the staircase instead of stopping on the ground floor, like Wade, Jasmine, and he did. "Where are you going, kid? Out is that way!"
"I just need to get one more thing, alright? There's an office a couple floors up and they have some files-"
Hannibal got into my face, "They are just files! How important can they be?"
I bared my fangs and hissed at him. "They are my files! Files on me and my life! Stuff I don't even know!"
Hannibal did not back down. "I don't know if you noticed, but we are not exactly welcome here, and who knows how many suckheads are after us, especially after that stint in the basement."
I took a step toward him. "Seeing as I can take care of myself, I don't really give a shit!"
Hannibal took a step closer and looked down at me. "Seeing as you don't seem to have any of your fancy powers to save you, you don't really have a choice in the matter."
"Oh really?" I challenged, practically growling at him. "Try and stop me."
"Alright, that's enough kids." Wade stepped in between us. "Look, I have this new invention called a backpack here, so why don't I go on up and get those files, and you all can go back to the Honeycomb Hideout. You two," he pointed at me and Jasmine, "can stop being vampires, and you," he turned to Hannibal, "can actually go home in one piece. And then I will follow y'all once I get whatever it is that is up there."
"Those are my files, Wade! I get to read them first!"
Wade looked taken aback. "Excuse me. I am offended. I hate reading! Why would I read files? That's what I had Bob and Weasel for."
I stared at him for a moment before murmuring, "I get to read them first."
Wade held up three fingers. "Scout's honor."
I rolled my eyes. "You would be a boy scout."
Wade grinned. "Ten years baby." He winked. "I'll get your files; you go get de-vamped."
I held his gaze. "The office is on the floor above where my room was. I want every file."
He winked again. "You got it." And he went back up the stairs.
Once I saw Wade go up the stairs, I put my face mask on and turned to Hannibal and Jasmine. "You're going to burn up if you go out there." I said to her as I looked around the lobby quick for something to cover her. There was a little seating area to the left of the front doors, and since it was not-so-smartly placed by windows, there were curtains keeping that nasty sun out. "Perfect." I took out a dagger that was always attached to my Deadpool suit, and I cut down a curtain and tossed it to Jasmine. "Cover yourself with that."
"Thanks." She wrapped her exposed up in the curtain. "Ready."
I smirked. "Alright, let's get out of here." And we left the building and headed toward Hannibal's Denali, not seeing the figure watching us from the staircase. The figure, dressed in a black leather jacket, black pants, gloves, boots, and carrying a red motorcycle helmet waited until he saw us leave the building before putting his helmet on and following us.

"Why…did I…volunteer…for this…again?" Wade asked himself as he climbed the stairs that led to the twenty-first floor.
"I don't know." The white persona said.
"Probably so that Andi wouldn't disappear on us again." The yellow persona countered.
"As long as she's with Hannibal," Wade told himself. "She'll be alright…Oh god six more floors." Wade gripped the bannister, stopped, and took several deep breaths.
"Aren't you supposed to be physically fit and good at stuff with rigorous activity and what not?" The white persona made fun.
"To be fair," The yellow persona defended. "We did just do this and stairs are hard."
"Oh my god, will both of you shut up!" Wade yelled, making an echo in the staircase.
He mustered his energy and dragged himself up the remaining stairs, this time in silence. When he got to the twenty-first floor, he opened the door from the stair case and found a young blonde woman flipping through a COSMOPOLITAN magazine.
"Mr. Haben is not in." She said without looking up.
Wade looked at her with a blank face. "I don't even want to deal with you." He said under his breath.
"That makes two of us." She finally looked up at him and raised an eyebrow.
Wade decided to forgo dealing with her, and just walk into the room behind her desk. There was a bland desk with a wall of security monitors behind it, and filing cabinet next to it. He took off his backpack and without caring about what the files actually said, he went through each drawer of the cabinet and took every file he could get his hands on. Once he cleared out the cabinet he went over to the desk and opened every drawer. He pulled out every piece of paper he could find and put it with the others in his bag. When he opened the middle top drawer, he found his old cellphone. He grabbed it and threw it into the bag as well. Once he cleaned out the desk, he left the room and passed by the blonde woman.
"Have a nice day." She said monotonously.
"You too!" He said, faking cheer.
Wade went back into the staircase and practically flew down the stairs.
"Well she seemed nice." The yellow persona quipped.
"I am really not into talking with you yet." Wade mumbled as he reached floor six. He entered the floor and went into the freezer-like area.
"What are you doing?" The white persona asked.
Wade went over to the people encased in plastic and looked at them. "Being human." He looked over at the large machine that was keeping them alive. He took out one of his guns and emptied a clip into the machine, and listened as the low murmur of the machine quieted into nothing. To make sure that it was truly over for them, Wade holstered his gun and pulled out a katana and sliced every hose that that was connected to the people.
Wade put away his katana and looked at the people one last time. "Rest well." And he left without turning back.

The drive back to the barge was pretty quiet. Jasmine was huddled in the back, and I was in the front with Hannibal. I missed Wade. He always had something to say, especially in the silence.
"Hey, Hannibal?" I asked, my voice not much higher than a murmur.
"Yeah, kid?"
"Um," I did not really want to know the answer, but I had to ask. "How long have I been gone?"
He sighed, "Three weeks."
I groaned, "Oh my god." I held my head in my hands for a while. "How long am I going to be out once I get the cure?"
Hannibal sighed again, "Well, to make sure that all of the vampire stuff is deleted, we usually put people like you under house arrest for a month."
I groaned again. "A month?! What about school?!"
"Seriously, that seems a bit much." Jasmine commented from the back seat.
"Well I wouldn't worry too much about school, kid. According to your lovely rich-boy brother who decided to show up, Langara doesn't even think you go to school there anymore." Hannibal pulled into a parking garage and found the nearest spot.
"They don't?" My disappointed tone actually hit him.
As he put the car in park he let out a softer sigh. "I'm sorry, kid." We sat there for a moment, me wallowing in my sorrows. "Alright," he said, "come on, we walk from here."
We all got out of the car (me a bit reluctantly), and we began the half mile walk to the barge. It was back to silence.
We trekked, and after ten minutes, we saw the barge ahead. "Alright ladies," Hannibal called out to us. "No sudden movements. We have two snipers up there with the order to shoot anything moving too quickly, so just stay calm until we get past the checkpoint."
And we ever so slowly reached the pier. I wanted to look around and to find the snipers, but I just kept my head down.
~.~.~.~.~.~.~
Johnny took a short and sharp breath when he saw three people walking toward the pier. "Caulder?" He whispered.
"I see them." The older man's voice echoed in Johnny's ear. "Keep steady."
"I know." Johnny took a deep breath and tried to tell the difference between the three people. The sun was low and behind them, so the people were just walking shadows. The closer he looked at them, the more Johnny thought that something was off with those people. "Caulder?"
"What, Johnny?"
"Something seems off with them."
Caulder took a closer look. "There's two females, one male."
"Um…that doesn't sound right." Johnny hesitatingly said.
"Let's just wait and see what they have to say." Caulder readjusted the focus on his scope. "It's too bad the sun is setting behind them. Can't get a good look at them."
Johnny pulled away from his scope and squinted to get a better look at the three figures approaching. He looked back through the scope. "The one on the right walks like Andi."
"You know how she walks?" Caulder suppressed a chuckle.
"When you're with Andi, you learn to notice stuff like that."
Caulder smirked. "Oh yeah?"
"Yeah." Johnny smiled. "On our third date we went to this amusement park in her home town, and we got pulled into this couples stage show to see how well couples know each other. I mean, it was a little unfair because it was only our third date, but we went through it anyway. The first thing they do is sit the females down on the stage and blindfold them, and then they walked each of the males across the stage and then the girlfriends would guess which one was their significant other. Andi knew which one was me right away. And it was like that for everything: she knew my walk, my hand, my hair, everything."
"How long had you two known each other at that point?"
"Not long. Only a couple weeks. I asked her how she knew all of that, and she said that her brother taught her to observe the people around her. Just in case."
Caulder let out a soft chuckle. "Just in case."
"Yeah. At the time, I didn't know who her brother was, so I figured that 'just in case' was meant to keep her on her toes, and not to give her assurance that she could hunt those people down if need be."
There was a short silence before Caulder said, "Can I ask you something?"
"Yeah, of course." Johnny readjusted his scope.
"How does it-" Caulder cut himself off. "Wait, hold on." He looked down his scope and smiled. "Well, Johnny. You were right, the one on the right is Andi."
Johnny looked down his scope and smiled. "There she is. And there's Hannibal in the middle. And then…I don't know the one on the left."
Caulder tried to get a better look. "I don't know, but whoever she is, she's covering herself with some sort of blanket." And then it hit Caulder. "She's covering herself from the sun."
"What?"
"They've got a vampire with them."
Johnny was startled. "What? Why?"
Caulder shook his head. "I don't know. But we're going to find out soon."
~.~.~.~.~.~.~
"Alright ladies," Hannibal said as we got to the pier. "This is it."
I smiled beneath my mask. Finally.
"What is 'it'?" Jasmine asked from under the curtain, poking her head out just enough to see the barge.
"It's your salvation." Hannibal said to her as he took a couple steps toward the barge.
Jasmine and I began to follow him, when I heard footsteps behind us. I turned slightly, and I saw a brief shadow before being tackled to the ground. "Mother f-" I grumbled as the one who attacked me tried to get at my neck.
Jasmine turned around and saw the two of us struggling on the ground. "Hannibal!"
"I hear it. Keep walking forward."
I rolled trying to pin whoever it was, but they just kept rolling until they were on top.
"What?!" Jasmine turned to go help but Hannibal grabbed her and turned her back around and kept moving forward.
"We have someone to take care of that. Keep going forward."
I kept trying. I was feeling weak and rolling around and wrestling for control was not helping. But I kept trying. There was no way I was going to let some random leather clad suckhead tear me apart. Before I knew it, the suckhead had pinned my arms, and opened his mouth before beginning its decent on my neck.
~.~.~.~.~.~.~
Johnny stared through his scope and saw the person on the right get tackled to the ground. "Caulder."
"I see it." Caulder readjusted himself and focused his sniper on the two who continued walking, the one being forced to by the man in the middle. "I have the other two in my sights. Go ahead."
Johnny got up from his position. "Flame on!" He became engulfed in flame and flew ahead to the two wrestling on the ground.
~.~.~.~.~.~.~
Well kid, this is it. You can't beat this guy in the condition you're in. Lord, I am so sorry for swearing all of the time, murdering pretty much everyone, and basically every bad thing I've ever done. Please don't let me get mauled by this suckhead!
I felt my neck snap to the side. Oh fuck. Now it's really over. I felt the steaming breath from the vampire on my face.
The suck head hissed in my ear, "Scream for me."
Before I could even retort, I felt this extraordinary heat, and then it got very cold, and the weight bearing down on me was gone. My breathing was rapid, and I rolled myself over to see what had happened. That's when I saw a tall ball of flames gripping a writhing figure.
"I'm going to make sure you burn slowly." The fire ball growled at the figure. The writing figure then began to scream in pain and writhe faster, legs kicking all about until they suddenly stopped, and the figure dissolved into ash. Once the figure's ashes and blown away, the ball of flames walked over to me. The flames extinguished, and I stared in awe when I saw Johnny kneel down next to me.
He smiled. "Hey, Bulbasaur."
"Hey Charmander."
