Author Note : Hey everyone, it's me and I am back! Yay! I am so happy that you still gave review, follow and favorite my story although I'm not update or post the latest chapter. It's been a year right? I'm feeling guilty to my reader and the reason I'm not update a year because my busy time and it drained my energy.

I'm taking my master class at March and while study, I also working at morning until afternoon continued with study. There's no time for me to take free time for writing even I have, I prefer use it for sleep and recovering my energy. Now, at beginning of February, my job contract had finished and the school begins at March. Using this opportunity, I'm finishing this story then I will update another more. While I begin to write again, the story show up in my mind and I just follow my hands to type the story until done and checking it until I'm satisfied.

One of the problems I doubt to post this latest chapter because I don't have BETA to edit this story. English is not my native language so I'm writing the story as much as I can. I hope someone volunteer as my BETA and I really appreciate it. While writing the story, I'm using my vocabulary dictionary to improve my skill and not using same words all over.

Thank you so much for give me support, follow, favorite and review my story all this time. This story is still long even the main couple will discover and develop more their own personality. I'm getting interesting to write about Rufus-Shin'ou relationship that related to Wolfram. All of you know that Rufus is female right? From the Drama CD and I had download it. The story actually funny and interesting, how shocked Shin'ou figured out Rufus is female and his clumsy attitude towards Rufus while she's worried Shin'ou condition.

Chapter 21 : Asking Gwendal Permission

I came back again with another dream, same as usual. Somehow I wonder how I am involved to this dream since I am not a fortune teller, dream reader or whatever. Well, the dream I saw every time I sleep are connected to Kingdom's past. First King and Queen, Shin'ou and Rufus von Bielefeld. What I think is that, the dream I saw seemed their first meeting, the relationship until the wedding, maybe? Is not that I am complaining about my dreams but my feeling said that there's a message behind it, a message to the one who dreamt about it.

This time I am not floating anymore, but just stand on the ground with bushes around me, directly into the scene or the main part of my dream. Luckily the bushes makes me free movingly also seemed I am in somewhere place that I've never know. It's not The Enchanted Forest I've usually known but right now, I am in the middle bushes with a pool around it. Across the pool, a line of roses with the bluest color I've ever see. Rather than standing with pool around me, I prefer floating on the water like usual.

Walking towards a path right front of me, I passed the bushes which every time I pass it or touch the leaves, a few of colorful fireflies comes out and gather above me while the others lighting the forest. Reaches the line of blue roses, I see someone hiding behind the tree, carefully watching Rufus make sure that she's not notice his existence. I approach him to look closer and that person is Shin'ou who watching her now. What makes me curious that why he must hide from her?

"What is it?" Rufus confused with the doe, its head move to left and right with its nose on air, smelling something.

"Who is it? "Asked Rufus like an innocent child. She waits the answer from the strangers but no reply from the stranger. "I know you are there…" said Rufus to Shin'ou who hides behind the trees. He's trying to hide himself as he can but no matter how hard he tried, seemed useless. She stands and turned around, walking few steps towards to Shin'ou hidden place. Her fireflies around her helping by giving a code to her who is the person hide behind the trees.

"Well…"

"Who are you?" asked Rufus to the stranger, not afraid if the stranger will harm her. She's getting closer to Shin'ou steps by steps.

"How did you know that I am here?" said Shin'ou without reveal himself to her.

"I can see your shadow, it's always following me around. I thought that was traveler so I don't mind about it but, you always follow me every time I visit the forest. I am trying to approach you but my friends said that they are known who he is and asked me to let you follow me as you want. It seems that they, the forest creature want to introduce their lovely forest to you.

"So, did you already find out who am I?" said Shin'ou, still hiding behind the trees, acting like a stranger to her.

"You should come out and show yourself, no need to hide anymore."

"It's not that easy…" Shin'ou trying to avoid her another question because he's afraid that the more she asked, the more she knows who is the person she is talking with.

"Are you afraid?" asked Rufus again, her eyes glued to Shin'ou hidden spot.

"I am not afraid…" whispers Shin'ou, preparing himself to get out from hide, well maybe he's give up.

"Then, come out. Show yourself so I can greet you." Rufus taking a few steps towards the trees with curious.

"You will surprise, after I reveal myself to you…" Shin'ou get out from behind trees, taking off the hood cloak with his shoulder length hair tied up and the bangs covers one of his blue eyes. Rufus who sees the person who follows her all the time startled with wide eyes.

"You're Majesty…" said Rufus, bowing to him while her eyes trying avoid his glance. "What makes you come here? I mean, this inappropriate…" when Rufus said 'inappropriate' words, a wind not strong and slow, comes out from somewhere blowing both of them, makes Rufus almost fall down."What I mean is 'inappropriate' for His Majesty, not me. I love this place and this is my most favorite all the time."

The wind changes into soft breeze, like usual. "I hope you're not too sensitive." Said Rufus chuckling with lifting her head with messy hair even some of leaves and flowers petals stuck at her hair. One of the oak trees waving its branches, apologizes after what it did.

"What just happen?" Shin'ou confuse, walking towards Rufus who still busy tidying up her hair from leaves and flower petals that stuck at her long brown hair.

"They think that I hate this place, after I said to Your Majesty this place quite inappropriate for you." Rufus busies herself taking another until she feels big warm hands lifting her long hair. She turned around and sees Shin'ou helping her taking petals from her bangs.

"You need some help I guess…" Shin'ou takes another petal from her bangs. Done takes the petals until no more left, Rufus standing in silence, seemed stunned His Majesty helping her to cleaning her hair from mess. Rufus takes a few steps back, keep distance because His King right front of her now. Rufus control her breath and attitude, her hands taking Shin'ou palm, put it down.

"Thank you for the help, Your Majesty…" Rufus taking his hands down, clearing her throat so she can speaks clearly, seemed she nervous I guess. "So... You're Majesty always follow me?" Although she's trying to keep her face serious but I can see from her eyes and gesture, she looks surprised and curious why Shin'ou follows her to forest.

"Well, sometimes…" Shin'ou is looking for a reason to explain, why he follows Rufus when she visits The Forest. "I'm just curious and worried since people talking about you."

"Talking about what?" Rufus doesn't know what he said.

"Well, I just heard the rumor from maids and soldiers, that you have a habit…" Shin'ou sits on the giant black stone. "Sometimes, every night you get out from palace and return at dawn. First, I don't mind people talking about you going late night and return dawn because it's your business but the rumors getting strange and spread at castle. People said that you're sneaking out of town, meeting a guy or woman, drinking until pass out, gambling, whatever." Hearing Shin'ou explanations, Rufus chuckling until she's laughing and covers her mouth.

"That's so hilarious, Your Majesty…" Rufus tighten up her cloak because the wind breeze quite cold. "The rumors. Is there another else?"

"Well, since it's not stopping, better I check myself without guards since it will make furor at castle or people at city. If I do that, you will easily recognize that someone trying to follow you." Shin'ou tickling the birds that rested on his shoulder, it sings a beautiful sound he's ever heard.

"That will be true, Your Majesty." Rufus walking towards lake, waving her hands to say hello and the water creature get out from water. The creature is lookalike a whale but the cute version. The skin is black at upper side while down side is white without teeth. It's swimming towards Rufus, lifting its head and kissing her cheek who squatting near the lake, smile widely. Shin'ou who sits behind her, watching the scene front of her, captivated by it because he never sees Rufus like this.

"So, I decide to follow you alone. The Great Sage totally disagree with my idea without guards, except your friends, they just agree and say nothing." Shin'ou walks beside Rufus, watching the lake where the flowers are sparkle with random colors, the creature dances inside the lake, following Rufus hand movement. "I thought that you only sneaky at town, but seeing you ride a horse, my guess that you must be going far, probably out of town."

"You are really smart, My King."

"I take my horse, taking some distance from you. What makes me surprise that there's a short cut to outside of kingdom. My thoughts were you are spy from another country, gives the information about kingdom, etc." Shin'ou taking a deep breath looking up the sky, seeing how clear the sky right now and the color of it is not black but dark blue with fireflies floating above.

"Your thinking is kind of too far, Your Majesty. Didn't I make promise to guards and loyal to kingdom? With sword and heart?" Rufus forehead frowning, showing her displease.

"Yeah, you're right…" Shin'ou regrets what he thought all this time about her. He thoughts that Rufus break the promise as soldier, he is half believes about the rumors, even doubt her loyalty. Now, after he finds out where the places she always gone, he needs the answer and her reason.

"Can I ask you something?" Shin'ou sits looking to her who tickling because the light blue butterfly landing on her nose, teasing her.

"Yes, what do you want to ask?" Rufus turns her head with squirrel on her shoulder, running to side by side and jumping towards bushes.

"Why you always come here? I mean, if only once a month or twice its fine and nothing will think weird but you always sneaking out of town in middle night until dawn. While do might patrol you always late to comeback.

"I meet my friends as usual." Rufus answer him shortly.

"Friends?" Shin'ou doesn't know what she means. If she wants meet her friends why they must meet at here? At forest? Female or male?"

"No, they are not human, My Lord. You already meet them actually." Rufus smiling showing her teeth with red cheeks as rose. Her heads looking around to left and right and last above, telling Shin'ou who is the friends she meets always. Realize Rufus's gesture, his mouth gaping, don't understand with confuse feeling.

"You mean…?"

"The Forest also the occupants are my friends. I meet them, talking to them, as human speaking to the human." Rufus cupping her hands, looking the fireflies that flying around her hands and gather inside her palms. "We speak with our own language and understand each other, even without words seemed they know what I want to talk."

"I see then…" Shin'ou eyes looking to Rufus busies with her fireflies friends then looking around forest. Every time he follows Rufus, he saw that the way Rufus talks to them is using her own language. What everything she said, the forest occupant understand what she said, thinking even her emotion. Their relationship so deep and it must be they had been friends for long time. I see Shin'ou face changes, from the usual into a jealous emotion

"Now, since your job is done, better you return now Your Majesty. People at castle must be looking for you, especially the Great Sage." Rufus taking his hands and grips it tenderly.

"Done?"

"Well, you curious why I always sneaking up at night and now you've got the answer. So, you don't need to follow me again." Rufus smiling let go his hands but Shin'ou refused by keep her hands at his grips. Confuse, Rufus looking at her hands which holds by her King, and titling her head looking his blue eyes.

"You're Majesty?" Rufus pull her hands from his grips. Realize what he did, Shin'ou pull his hands and bite his lips, why he became like this.

"Sorry, I don't know what happen to me." Shin'ou apologizes to her and he's thinking to begin conversation with her. He just wants to spend more time with her as long as he can.

"You don't have to spying me again, Your Majesty. You've got the answer so you better return to castle. I think your little brother, The Great Sage looking for you, so do Siegbert and Lawrence." Rufus squatting taking some blueberry and raspberry from turquoise tree front of her. "Here's some fruits from me, eat it after you get out from forest. This forest different from the usual I visit, after you get out from here, the forest will drain you energy makes you exhausted even your legs feel wobble. Not only that, the forest also sucking our energy slowly while we are at forest."

"Aah, that's why I am easy to get tired…" Shin'ou breathes getting hard and his fingers shaking like he's famishing. Shin'ou accidently steps the otter tails who screams showing its little sharp teeth and he becomes unbalance. Before he falls, Rufus runs towards him and catch him by hugging him.

"You better eat it now, I don't want my King faint or sick because of me." Rufus helps Shin'ou sit near the lake and feed him one by one into his mouth. After he chews the berries, Shin'ou breaths return to normal and not shaking anymore. Rufus let out her deep sigh, feeling guilty making his King almost faint.

"Why they are doing that? Well, sucking the energy?" Shin'ou takes another berries from her hands, chewing it slowly because the size of berries unusual. The size are same as chestnut.

"It depends what is your purpose come to forest." Said Rufus watching the otter that stepped by Shin'ou returns to water. "Because your purpose, enter the forest to follow me, this forest thinks that you have bad intentions to me. It's different from forest near castle, this forest is unpredictable. If you have good intentions, it will give you beautiful scenery or magnificent thing will happen." Rufus takes another berry from tiny trees beside her, picking it one by one. "

"No, thanks, I think it's enough." Said Shin'ou showing the berries at his palm, eats the last one. "My energy and magic had recorver."

"Glad to hear that…" Rufus eat the berry and chewing it slowly and the silent continue between them. I see Shin'ou looking around, feels nervous with his blue eyes blinking and bite his upper lips.

"Do you mind if…" Shin'ou pause a moment, trying looking for a nice question that he holds all the time. "If I am go with you? When you visit the forest? This one and another that you usually visit. At least, you need someone go with you."

"No, actually I don't mind if you come with me…" Rufus watches another otter, the white furry skin, washing the hands. The other otters nursing her twin pups on her chest while lying on the water.

"Really?"

"Of course, after all they are curious about you." Rufus points the fireflies above her flying around both of them.

"Wake up, wake up Wolfram…" whispers Arthy at my left ear. I open my eyes and lay down on the carpet with fairy tale books around me. I just remember that after I came out from Yuri's office, we went to study room for some rest. Ezio said that if we want explore the city all night better we take a nap and before we take a nap, they asked me to read a book for them since they whining they can't sleep.

Slowly they fall to sleep followed by me and it's the breeze fault. Another dream about them, this time I'm traveled to their first meeting or should I say the beginning their relationship? I can see in that dream, seemed Shin'ou began attracted to Rufus when he meets her without her usual clothes. While I am still half on reality and half in dream, Arthy with Ezio waking me up by shaking my body also blew my ears which make me tickles.

"Wake up Wolfram!" Arthy playing my hair, ruffling my bangs while Ezio circling his little arms around my neck, pretends become vampire who starving of blood. "If you not, vampire Ezio will eat you alive."

"Aaahhhmm, looks delicious…"

"Fine, fine, fine…" I am yawning pulling the kids closer to me until we are back to a nice carpet beneath us. "Well, seemed the sun getting down." I am looking through curtain that showing the sunlight color turns into light orange. It means the noon has over but surprisingly the sky had full of stars. "It's strange…"

"What?" Arthy wakes up, laying his head on my chest.

"The sky." I am pointing the window without curtains, showing the sky that full of stars, stroking Ezio's back up and down. "It's still noon but the sky full of stars."

"No, it's not." Ezio wakes up sitting with crossing his legs, pointing his tiny finger to sky. "It's fireflies Wolfram. Usually near the Maple Event day, these season the fireflies flying around sky. These season, it's their mating season or knowing each other."

"Knowing each other? With whom?"

"With their species also people. Somehow, I think that the fireflies like the guards for us. Showing the direction to home when we lost, while we are at danger they quickly call the palace guards and tell them what's happening, even take care of us." Arthy looking the windows, seeing the fireflies flying to the city where people preparing the event.

"I think it's true…" I just remember how they save us at city before, when I chased by Gwendal and the soldiers. "Now, since our plan today we will go to city and having fun, we better hurry to prepare what we needs right?" I stand up followed by the kids, tidying their wake up hair, the folds of their clothes and put the books at drawer.

"Yay, it's been a while we haven't date with you Wolfram." Arthy takes my hand and entwined it with his little fingers. "Can't wait to eat delicious waffle and steak at city today."

"Wait Arthy, our job is guards Wolfram not playing around." Ezio reminds Arthy who don't care about their main job, prefer playing around with his Wolfram. "Although I kinda agree with you…" Ezio nodding, agree with Arthy who smiles widely. He knows that Ezio also prefer having fun with Wolfram and him rather than do their duty as guards.

"What do you want to do at city Ezio?" I asked him ruffling his hair that reaches his collar.

"Well, maybe I want visit some shops that sell flower seeds and gardening tools, eat sandwich with cream soup near the fountain…."

"He likes gardening Wolfram, lately…" Arthy whispering adding another "and sculpting too…"

"Very well then, shall we go today and have fun?" I asked them who raise their hands with red cheeks and smiles shouting their answer.

"Do you know what the kids did before right?" Gwendal tapping his feet, looking at Ezio and Arthy quite long, then his eyes back to me. His eyes told me 'I won't give permission to go outside, understand?'

"At least he's apologized Gwendal." I hold their hands while they pretend nothing happened before. Just did what I told you before, pretend nothing happen and leave it to me. Well, if it's work but I'm kinda doubt it because Gwendal looking at them like they are commit crimes. Before we get out, Conrart said although Yuri gave us permission, I must get permission from Gwendal too since he's the main responsible for the event. I know it he won't give us permission because the library incident last morning.

"Apologize? He didn't apologize to me Prince Wolfram." Gwendal points Arthy who just playing his alligator doll while Ezio just looking around, awed and mixed with confuse seeing the knitting doll at his cupboard with any sizes. "Well, I am waiting your proper apologize, kids."

"What? I did it and you still want another?" Arthy mimicking Gwendal frowns face and pout his lips. "I already apologize to him Wolfram, trust me." What he said true but the way he did it quiet, not what I'm expected.

"Probably Gwendal want us to repeat our apologize, with right attitude." Said Ezio while his eyes locking to knitting basket on Gwendal, there are some scarf, sweater also doll in basket. "So, it's true then. You love knitting as your hobby."

"Well, I do knitting to relieve my stresses after work, signing paper, especially dealing with you two who always makes me headache sometimes." Gwendal keeps signing paper without looking to us. "As I said before, you can't take the kids with you!"

"Why Gwendal? Yuri already gave permission to me so I can take the kids with me to the city." I protest pouting, sighing hard. Why people at castle lately so annoying?

"I've told you, if the kids not apologize after what they did last morning, at library." Gwendal said it with firm when he said 'library and last morning' words, "I won't give them to get out with you. Understand?"

"Do you have any ideas?" I whispering to kids, hope they have some ideas to reduce Gwendal's anger. I'm never expected asking an ideas to kids especially they are Gwendal's troublemaker with their free spirit. I just hope the ideas they suggest not making Gwendal furious than before. Arthy looking at the cupboard with the glasses and the inside there's a lot of knitting doll from deer, bear, dragon, alligator, etc. The alligator doll he always carried was from Gwendal after he defeated him once and improves his sword skill. Suddenly, Arthy clasp his hands and pulling my hands.

"Use your cute side…" whispers Arthy giggling, covering his mouth with sneaky eyes. Like he knows what is Gwendal weakness that I can use.

"How?" I whisper back to him. Well, using cuteness kinda weird because I don't know how to act cute. If I know how to use cuteness and it can reduce the anger or freeing me from any problem I'm already using it right now. "Better you guys did it, not me…"

"I think what Arthy said it's true…" Ezio nodding, watches Gwendal keep busy signing paper with his serious face. "Well, you don't have to act cute because you already cute and adorable Wolfram. Maybe, just do what you want to do…" Ezio looking window, seeing Guther speaking with Conrart and King Yuri about the security because behind Gunther there are lined up soldiers carries spears and sword at their waist.

"At least try as best as you can before we are stuck at here all day." Arthy becomes worried if they are not allowed go to the city today because when they will get this moment with Wolfram.

"Very well, I will try as I can…" I am sighing hard, turns around backing Gwendal takes the kids tiny hands then clasp it with me. "Wish me good luck."

"Okay!" said both of them together, know that I will success.

"Whatever I do, just keep silent and follow it."

"Okay, whatever you said as long we can get put from this pressure room." Said Ezio feeling pressured at Gwendal's room although there are some cute things at desk and cupboard. I am walking closer to him, front of him who takes another paper to sign off. Realize that I am stands front of him, he lifts his head with his serious face, like usual.

"What do you want right now?" ask Gwendal coldly. Very well Wolfram, it's time and hope it works. With deep inhale, I begin it now.

"Gwendal…" I said with cute voice, smiles like I got cookies from my mother. "Please let us get out…" I put my arms behind me, titling my head to my side keep smiling. "Please, let me go with the kids." I am begging to him with my eyes closes, hands entwined together right front of my face. While I open my eyes, seeing his reaction I just can't believe what I just saw. Gwendal tries avoiding my eyes, with his body little shaking so do his mouth that holds smile.

"Keep going Wolfram…" said the kids behind me, their plan success.

"Did it work?" I am looking back to them, confused

"Yes it is! Keep uses your cute and adorable charm, just don't too much." Ezio advises me and I am back to teasing Gwendal.

"Gwendal, they are just kids and they want have fun…" Now, I am playing his hands that above table, poking his palm with my finger up and down as I am trying to test the hot water. After the poking session, I am taking his hands with mine, playing his long fingers and measure palms. It's been a while I've measure his hands that totally different with me.

"What did you just do?" Gwendal stops his signing job, watching me playing his fingers, looking at me but trying to control his mouth make sure that he won't smile.

"Just wonder it's been a while I've never see you use that beautiful magic again, when you making a flower for me with your earth element. I'm misses it, actually." I grip his hand with my both hands, feeling the warm from it. "Will you allow me? Forgive the kids…"

"About that…" Gwendal sighing deep, can't believe what I did to him right now actually really cute even he wants to laugh and smile but he must remain calm and not ruin his image front of them. I can hear Gwendal said to himself 'Stop it, stop it! Why he must be this cute…' Well, it works and maybe another step can beat him and makes us can go to the city.

"Please, I'm sure that the kids feel sorry to you…" Fine, I think this one my last chance. Gwendal seeing me let go his hands and walking to his side, feel relieve but confuse I am not return to kids until he surprise what I am do this moment.

"Prince Wolfram! What are…." Gwendal surprises seeing me hugging his arms with my head rested on his shoulder.

"Please…" I rested my head on his shoulder, looking to his sharp blue with begging face and little smile. Gwendal cheeks slowly become red as cherry and his mouth try keep straight, not laughing even smile. "Let me take kids to the city and I will make them behave even respect you more. They will do what I said." I'm peeking through kids, asking them how it is and they seem have fun seeing Gwendal struggling with me even they give me thumbs up, holding their laugh behind their palms.

"Prince Wolfram, would you stop…" before Gwendal finishes his sentence, I'm hugging his arms closer and tighter. "Would you please stop and back to…"

"No, I won't stop until you give us permission to go to the city. I will keep on your side like this until you said yes." I'm leaned my head on his shoulder hugging him more.

"Fine! You and the kids can go to the town!" Gwendal frustrated even he said it with a loud voice, like release all of the tension he holds all time. I lift my head, looking to him who exhausted facing my cute action. Well, it's not that cute, I just trying to tease him until he said yes.

"Really?" Did I just what I heard from his mouth? "You give us permission?"

"Well, you heard it? Before midnight you must return to the castle." Gwendal leaning on chair with deep sigh, massaging his head, can't believe what just happened this day. "You want me to take back?" This is more exhausted and drained his energy from head to toe. He needs something to relax on.

"No!" I'm squealing and hugging him doesn't care what I did to him right now. Gwendal surprised seeing me hugging him hard like I haven't see him in five years. My action really makes him surprised even he stops the signing paper with his right hands still holds the paints with stiff body. He rubs his temple with his right eye twitches.

"Thank you Gwendal!" I am linking my arms around his neck and kiss his cheeks, both of it with wide smile because I can't stop my happiness. Ezio and Arthy squealing and join me run towards Gwendal and hugging him tightly. I can feel that Gwendal's body becomes stiffer when the kids join me even his face trying to control his emotion, keep his face straight, struggling with us even he holds his breath.

"Thank you!" Arthy can't hide his excited and he takes Gwendal right hand, making pinky swear to him. "I promise I'll behave and practice harder than usual as long you let me hanging around with Wolfram."

"So do I." Ezio joins Arthy, keep hugging him. "I am also will study more diligent with Gunther and mastering my Wind and Earth Element as long you let us playing and hanging with Wolfram, like this!"

"Better you keep that promise kids." Gwendal trying pushes the kids away from him until they let go the hug. Gwendal stands and smoothed the folds of his clothes, can't believe that he just hugged by three people at once which no one ever had done this before.

"Of course they are Gwendal." I said with smile, holding their hands with mine. "As long you let them with me, I am sure they will study harder." I am chuckling and feel my smile reaches my ear.

Gwendal looking at me with, want avoid my glance but he failed until his eyes closes with smile that turns into chuckling. He covers his mouth with his wide palm then the chuckles turns into small laugh that not stopping. Not only his mouth laughing, I can see his sharp blue eyes turns into gentle one, like looking something cute and lovely?

"What is it?" I ask him confuse, because Gwendal still covers his mouth, laughing until he finishes it. Ah, it's my first time seeing Gwendal laughing.

"You're so cute, Prince Wolfram." Gwendal stands and he ruffles my hair, smiles showing his teeth. "First time ever I see someone adorable and cute like you…" Hearing Gwendal said that I am adorable and cute, makes me flushes and my cheeks feels warm. "I can't stop laughing seeing you like that."

"Well, I…" I hear the knocking sound and a second later Gwendal back into his usual face and get back to seat, continue signing paper like nothing happened. Me and kids back away from Gwendal and stand beside book case. The door opened with a brown hair peeking through window carry a tray with cookies and tea that smells of lavender.

"Aah, seemed I disturb your time with Gwendal now…" Conrart come inside with the tray and puts in on the table beside an orchid flower. "I should bring more cups for you.,,"

"No, it's okay Conrart. We will leave now to the town, looking the Maple Festival progress." I said taking the kids and walking to the doors.

"We will date with Wolfram, Conrart." Ezio swinging my hand while grips it up and down.

"This will be fun, walking to the towns and explore the city and eat delicious food." Arthy joins hugging my waist, giggling can't wait for it. I think the kids really wait this time after they spend all day at castle without go to the town. "With Wolfram."

"Aah, I wish I can join you guys but I had lot things to do…" Conrart pours the sugar into teapot and stirs with spoon. After stirs the tea, he takes some cookies and put it at the small plate.

"Kids, you also must not forget your duty, protecting Prince Wolfram since me and Conrart not with you. So, this is your first time duty without my help." Gwendal reminds the kids and they are just nodding without protest. Seemed they prefer not protest to Gwendal after he gives us permission to go to the town and forgives the library incident.

"They said yes…" I said to Gwendal.

"Before you go, better you take this." Gwendal open his drawer desk, looking for something. I am walking towards his desk waiting what he will give to me. This is a scroll of map, the city of map. From castle gate until the most corner one with marked by red line. The map shows a guide to the town from castle to the city, also it shows the name of the shops with restaurant also some notes about the best scenery at town.

"This is…"

"You better take it. I don't want you getting lost while you explore the city with kids. You should know the city and try remembering it as much as you can." Gwendal moves the signed paper into table near the window and continues signing the empty one. Grinning, I hugging him back who makes Conrart surprised seeing me hugging Gwendal without doubt, even his brown eyes wider while his mouth gaping. Hugged by me, Gwendal still don't know what he must to do so he just patting my head.

"Thank you for the maps, I will remember it as much as I can." Before I leave, I kiss his cheek and waving back to Gwendal. "I will buy something for you, a cute one or maybe knitted tools with wool too." I run to the doors and close it, taking the kids hand and we can't wait to begin our first time date.

"Did I just what I saw?" Conrart surprised putting the tea with some cookies beside Gwendal. "Wolfram kisses you? You patted his head? You allow him kisses you?"

"At my cheek, not lips Conrart." Gwendal signing another paper and takes another to read. "Thank God, His Majesty not sees what just Prince Wolfram did to me before." Gwendal coughing and trying control his breath. Conrart pours the tea into the cup with leaf and animal sketches on it. While pours the tea, Conrart curious what it is feels like kissed by Wolfram. No one has done it since people at castle afraid of him, especially his glance quite scary.

"You like it right?" Conrart smiles to Gwendal, looking at him like a mother knows her kids favorite toys, waiting his answer comes out from his mouth, better it's same like what he thinks right now.

"What?" Gwendal coughing louder takes the tea from Conrart with some cookies. He just confuse why Conrart looking at him like that, waiting an answer that he even don't need to answer it because it's embarrassing. "Why are you staring me like that? It makes me scared."

"He's hugging you. He kisses you, at your cheek." Conrart points his own cheek and grin, slowly turn into chuckle. "What Prince Wolfram did before to you…"

"CHEEK CONRART, CHEEK! NOT LIPS!" Gwendal furious but his face become red so do his ears. He ruffling his hair and makes his long bangs cover his sharp dark blue eyes. Deep sighing, Gwendal sips a tea once more until last drop and putting the cup with aloud sound. "You just don't know how I am struggling to face him who teasing me with his cuteness. It must be those stupid kids idea…"

"But you like it, don't you?" Conrart is parting the curtains seeing Wolfram and the kids taking the horse, Maximum with the color of its hair and tail same as Wolfram hair. Button the green cloak, Wolfram puts the kids on the horse and walking through the gate, waving saying goodbye to the guards which replied by their smile. It's been a while someone treat them or meet such a sweet and nice prince.

"Well…" Gwendal taking another cookies and finish it in one gulp. He opens the desk drawer and takes his unfinished knitting, the scarf with midnight blue color. Conrart walks towards the desk drawer, looking the knitting that made by Gwendal.

"Seems the fox hats for kids have finished it, the one you knit it." Conrart looking the knitting fox hat for children size. "How's the scarf one?"

"Not finished yet, probably tomorrow or day after tomorrow…" Gwendal keep knitting the scarf, his fingers moves faster than usual trying to finish it quickly.

"I know you are like him…" Conrart takes the cookies and takes one bite. "You even knitting scarf for him. I've never seen you like this. Well, you always hold your smile every time Wolfram showing his cuteness or around you." Conrart smiles widely seeing his older brother cheeks as red as cherry, not answering him which means he's agree that Wolfram is cute and lovely.

"He's just cute… that's all." Gwendal continues his knitting don't care if Conrart will see him different than before. Better he finishes the scarf and makes it comfortable.

"Hahaha, it's fine if you like him Gwendal. I admit it he's cute and adorable." Conrart chuckling seeing his older brother attracted to Wolfram and treat him special.

So? How is this chapter? Did you enjoy it? The most difficult scene is when Wolfram teasing Gwendal with his cute affection and describe Gwendal struggling every time he's looking Wolfram cute face. It's difficult but I have fun to write it.

My favorite part is Shin'ou-Rufus dream, it was their first time conversation as women and man, not as King and his loyal soldier. Rufus like showing her true self to him and Shin'ou surprised seeing her as women, a royal lady. I know KKM fans shipping Shin'ou-Daikenja/The Great Sage but as I know, in the manga and nove, Daikenja is Shin'ou younger brother, so in this story I will follow the same as KKM novel. I hope you guys not feel disturbed with Rufus-Shin'ou relationship. It's still the beginning but their relationship will get deeper and complicated maybe?
