Finally, after two weeks of being grounded Charlie decided to let Bella off early, due to he couldn't stay mad at his only child. When he told her that she was ungrounded she nearly jumped on him from excitement. She ran to the phone and began to call Jacob, except he didn't answer. It was Billy on the line when the ringtone finally ended.

"Hello."

"Hi Billy, is Jake home?"

"No, sorry Bella he's went to some girl's house talk to you later…" and he hung up the phone laughing.

Some girl's house? Some other girl's house? Bella almost wanted to cry, but she didn't she then became mad. He was in so much trouble when she seen him next! Charlie broke her train of thought telling her there was some boy at the door. Oh great, it's probably Mike again maybe she could pretend to be sick. But when she got to the door it wasn't Mike, it was Jacob dressed in a white button up shirt and slacks holding bouquet of freshly picked wild flowers. Bella blushed and looked down at her feet ashamed of herself for being jealous. Charlie laughed at Bella and walked away.

"What's a matter Bell's"

"I well, Billy told me you were going over to some girl's house and I guess I assumed the worst and now I just horrible that I thought that you would even do that." She rambled on.

Jacob just laughed and Bella wanted to cry and he instantly stopped when he felt her mood change.

"Oh, Bell's my dad was just trying to keep it a surprise that I was coming over to take you out on our date."

That meant that Charlie knew and that he was in on Billy's prank and she sent him a death glare which surprisingly set Charlie running away from the area. Jacob stepped into the house and handed her the flowers he had picked. She smiled and took them into the kitchen finding them a vase to put them in. She came out and glanced at Jacob everything about this man screamed male, she whimpered and he looked right at her.

"You ready to go? Or do need me to wait?"

"I, um, I'll go get dressed."

"Alright, whatever you want Bella." He smiled at her and went to join Charlie.

She nodded at him and ran up the stairs tripping which Jacob laughed but she ignored him. Once she made it to her room she realized she had no idea what she should wear or where they would be going. Great now she had to guess, maybe she could call Emily seems how Alice can't see where they are going. She dialed Emily's number and on the first ring it was answered.

"Hello?" It was Emily. Thank goodness.

"Hey, Emily it's Bella I was just wondering if you could spare a minute."

"Of course, Bella what do you need?"

"Well Jacob is taking me out and I have no idea what to wear."

"Oh. I remember him telling Sam about it... Do you own any skirts?"

"I don't know Alice bought me some but I'm not sure if I actually still have them."

"Well look in your closet."

Bella searched her closet and only found a white dress on a hanger with a brown leather jacket, looking below had small heeled sandals. Alice never would have picked something that didn't involve heels so who left this dress here?

"I found a dress with shoes and a jacket…"

"Do you like them?"

"Yeah, actually I do."

"Your welcome."

"Thanks Emily."

"Now go have some fun."

They hung up the phone and Bella got dressed she looked at herself in the mirror and didn't cringe at what she looked like. She applied some mascara and chap stick and went downstairs to meet Jacob who was waiting at the bottom. Looking down at him she smiled and her heart raced, she was scared and excited.

"Have fun you two!" Charlie waved them off and went back to his lazy boy chair.

"Bye dad!" Bella yelled as she and Jacob exited the house. Locking the door behind her she turned around to see Jake looking her up and down. She blushed but smiled and reached for him but he pulled away, making her pout.

"Just because your dad likes me doesn't mean he isn't watching." He told her in her ear. She only nodded not wanting to look back and find Charlie there. They got into Jacob's Rabbit and headed off. They finally reached La Push and pulled in to River's Edge a restaurant that was off the water. They went in to eat the place wasn't that crowded and it was cozy but the view was gorgeous. Sitting down at a table near the window to enjoy the view. Bella and Jacob ordered cokes.

Before the waitress could come back with their order a couple Native girls from Jacob's school stopped in front of their table.

"Jacob what are you doing with this pale face?" The taller one asked enviously.

"I'm on a date Christina, now if you don't mind I'd like it if you left." He told her not bothering to look at her.

"You could do so much better than her! Is she why you keep ignoring us?"

"Us?" Bella whispered. That got Jacob's attention and made him angry no one was allowed to make Bella feel inferior but he would not have some fangirl screw up his chances with Bella.

"Christina there has NEVER been an 'us' as you put it. Never will it happen because that woman you are trying to make fun of is the love of my life so you can walk away now while you still have some dignity or you can make yourself look like a fool."

"Whatever Jacob Black you know you want me any guy would be lucky to have me but I choose you!"

Jacob was going to stand up but stopped when he saw Bella do so which part of him feared she was leaving which made his heart sink.

"You little floozy!" Christina went to reply but Bella never gave her the chance. "You expect someone to love you based just off your looks, but that's wrong you may have a pretty face but deep down your just ugly. You could never get Jacob because for one, he's mine. Secondly you throw yourself at any attention that who know how many guys you've slept with just because you have a body doesn't mean you should litter it with everybody you lust after! You don't have an ounce of respect for yourself and you certainly have none for anyone else or you wouldn't be here parading your body off like it's god's gift to men. Go find yourself another man because he's taken. Oh, and if I find out you've been anywhere around him you'll be sorry you ever met me." Bella yelled at the younger girl who turned red out of anger or embarrassment she didn't care. Christina and he friend left the restaurant screeching as she left.

Jacob turned and looked at her guffawed he didn't know what to say although he was so pleased when he heard her call him 'hers'.

The waitress returned after watching the whole thing only to ignore the scene and ask them if they were ready to order. Jacob paid for the food and left a tip and Bella protested but Jacob ignored it saying she could pay him back with a kiss. This only made her blush and rush out of the restaurant leaving a joyful laughing Jake behind leaving a tip. They drove to the beach and Jacob brought a blanket for them to sit on. They sat and talked about nothing and everything until the sun went down and Jacob saw her shiver.

Grabbing Bella up in his arms feeling her small frame against his large one only made him feel more protective of her. She sat between his long legs with his arms holding her back to his chest. Bella squirmed around and turned look at him. Gathering her courage, she brought her lips to his barely touching she started to pull away but he grasped onto her more firmly and kissed her soft lips slowly. Opening her mouth Bella stuck her tongue across his lower lip a he opened immediately she tasted him, cinnamon and spicy she loved the burn of it. Moving closer if possible she grasped his hair in her fingers trying to keep him close. Grabbing her up and laying her against the blanket he continued their kiss exploring each other's mouths. Bella starting feeling aroused to wear she start rubbing herself on his leg to get some stimulation she needed. Jacob's breath was running ragged and he breathed deeply through his nose, he smelt Bella.

"Bella, we gotta stop, I can't I can only take so much."

"I don't want to stop." She whined.

"Bells, your killin' me here I want our first time to be special and definitely not on the first date."

"Jake, I need some release, please."

"Bell's I..."

AROO…

"Shit. Bell's I got to go."

"What?"

"Sam's calling. It has to be important."

"Oh…" Bella felt rejected and now he was leaving.

"God Bells I want you please I'll make it up to you I promise I'll come over afterwards leave your window open, that is if you still want to see me later."

Bella simply nodded and drove off in Jacob's car.
