Opening my eyes, I saw nothing but light. Bright eye burning light. I squinted my eyes slightly and tried to make out my surrounding. After what felt like an eternity, when really it was 2 minutes, I adjusted to the brightness seeing I was on the upstairs bathroom floor, with my back against a wall. I looked around my surrounding in confusion.

How the hell did I get up here? I'm pretty sure I didn't walk upstairs last night. Or... did I?

I shook my head in confusion to shrug it off and went up to my feet, clutching the door knob and flat wall to keep my balance. Seeing as I was okay, I let go and walked towards the bathroom mirror. I saw something dark on the left side of my head and moved my hair. I soon noticed blood was slowly gushing out on the left side of my forehead. I was a pretty big cut. It was like I had hit myself with something?

I sighed slightly, turning on the sink to wash it up. I hissed slightly as the water stinged the cut, but kept washing up. I stopped and looked up to see I didn't look too well. For starters, my boots were dirtied up and so were my finger nails. Finding the whole situation bizarre, I decided to take a bath and freshen up completely before thinking any further into what the hell had happened to me.

After getting all dressed and washed up, I drank out of two of my blood bags and had some soothing ice tea to drink. I was in the kitchen hitting my sorta long nails against the tea mug I was drinking out of in deep thought.

Think back.

Last night I told Elena what I was... who I was now.

She left to go stay with Stefan for the night.

I waved her goodbye.

Before I could even go upstairs I saw... something.

A shadow?

A lurker?

I don't know...

After that my mind went kinda foggy and blank.

"Fuck!" I exclaimed in frustration, accidentally crushing the mug within my hand. I pulled the pieces out of the inside of my hand trying to think about something other than the stinging pain. Once all the pieces were out, my phone rang twice. I picked it up not glancing at the phone number.

"Sorry, but "The Protector of Mystic Falls'" service won't be available today. Please try again, next week." I said as any answering machine would do. "Angie, if you get this, I want you to meet me up at the school. In my office. It's important. Oh and, this is Alaric." Alaric left his message. "You do realize, that wasn't really an answering machine right?" I chuckled out softly. Alaric stood quiet for a second. "I'll be there." I laughed out, before hanging up. Cleaning up the broken mug and tea, I soon left the house and sped off towards the school, deciding to think about whatever happened to me last night, later today.

"Okay, I'm here. Where's the fire?" I joked out as I entered the history classroom that was partly empty. I turned to notice Stefan and Elena at their desk looking like they were in detention. "Elena." I started out calmly. "Angie." Elena sighed out in reply, sending a soft wave of hello, which I nodded in return. Yes of course since I told her the truth last night, we were both kinda in an awkward place right now.. but it was just a phase. I'm sure we'll get passed it. Eventually.

Hopefully.

"Damon, thanks for coming." Alaric stated, as Damon walked in. As that happened, I found myself sitting on top of Alaric's desk again.

"Sorry I'm late. My dog ate my uh... nevermind." Damon stated as he got in. I grinned slightly at the cheesy line. "What's with all the furrowed brows?" Damon asked, glancing at both Elena, Stefan and I. "Don't look at me, I simply just got here." I stated honestly, holding up my hands in defense.

"I saw Isobel last night." Alaric soon ripped off the bandage. I stared at Alaric and everyone else in the room in disbelief.

"Isobel is here? In town?" Damon and I both unknowingly asked at once to Alaric, who nodded in reply. I shook my head softly chucking bitterly. "Well, fuck me, I'm out of here." I muttered out ready to leave. Damon held out an arm indicating I should stay. "Hey, you're staying." Damon stated. "And why should I?" I asked out. "Hey, you wanted to be part of the group, well here you go. Welcome to the club." Damon stated firmly. "I've told you and pretty much everyone else in this room more than once.. I want nothing to do with Isobel." I stated firmly as possible.

"But, Angie... this could be our only shot." Elena soon spoke out. "To what exactly, Elena? Get to know her? To meet her for once? To finally see if she wants to be part of our broken family? Thanks, but no thanks. I think I'll be better off not knowing." I stated, not giving in one inch. "Look, Angie, I get why you wouldn't want anything to do with Isobel. But I already called you in here. I don't want it to be for nothing. After this meeting is over you can go if you'd like and do whatever the heck you want. Okay?" Alaric stated. I sighed slightly, knowing I'd dread this entire meeting in general, but soon went over to stand near the closed-door way listening. "Fine, go ahead. But don't think I'll be paying this conversation any more attention." I warned them all.

"Did you ask her about Uncle John? Are they working together?" Damon soon went on to ask Alaric.

"No." He answered.

"No they're not." Damon asked to be sure.

"No I didn't ask." Alaric stated.

"What about the invention?" Damon asked him. What invention was he referring to anyway?

"Didn't ask." Alaric told him.

"Did she know about the tomb vampires?" Damon asked once again.

"I don't know." Alaric stated, causing me to plum my face in frustration.

"Did words completely escape you?" Damon asked in irritation. "No, I was a little distracted by my dead vampire wife to ask any questions." Alaric stated annoyed by Damon's continuing questions.

"What did she want?" Damon asked, turning to Elena. "She wants to see me." Elena stated, "And Angie." My eyes widened slightly. "Um.. no. We are not going to see her." I started out. "Look, Alaric already agreed to arranging a meeting between you two with her. We don't know why or what she wants." Stefan added. "You don't have to see her if you don't want to." Damon said still looking at Elena. "I don't really have a choice." Elena told him. "What are you talking about?" I asked, knowing for a fact we should have the ability to choose to see her or not. "She's threatened to go on a killing spree." Alaric answered my question. "So? I'll just stop her before anyone gets hurt." I stated the obvious. "Look, Angie, she's been around. She's been a vampire longer than you have. Trust me, as good as you are at your job, I don't think you'd stand a chance against Isobel. Don't risk it." Alaric informed me.

"I want to do it. I want to meet her. If I don't, I know I'll regret it." Elena continued her conversation with Damon as I briefly talked to Alaric for a second. "Well then, good luck meeting her." I gave Elena my best. "You're coming too, Angie. She wanted to see us both." Elena reminded me, how that could be a problem and deal breaker. "See, these are the perks of being a vampire. She can hurt you, but she can't hurt me. Simple as that. So if she gets pissed, I'll be ready to put up a fight." I told her. "Angie, please. Just stop. Whatever this is, just stop. I know deep down if you don't meet her, you'll regret it." Elena said.

"I won't. But you will. So go ahead and meet her. I'm not going to stop you from making your mistake." I shrugged not seeing the point of stopping her. If she wants to go, then go. Who am I to stop her? Besides, Stefan or Damon will most likely be there to ensure Elena won't get hurt. "Angie, you have to come... She's our Mom." Elena reminded me. I turned my heels to look at her.

"She's your mother. Not mine. Okay?" I stated for her once for it to sink in, before leaving the office.

"Wha- Wait.." Elena started out. "Stop, let her go. You can't force her. She'll come around." Damon stopped and ensured Elena.

I sighed slightly as I continued down the hallway.

"Angie! Hey, Angie! Hey." Caroline started out, walking up to me. "Hey, Caroline." I grinned softly. "Hey, I haven't heard from you in a while. How've you been?" Caroline asked me. "I'm good, oh and I forgot to tell you a few days back, congrats on being Miss Mystic Falls." I told her. "Awh, thank you. And uh, why are you here for?" Caroline asked me.

"Ah, you know. Chatting with the teachers. Making sure Elena's doing well in algebra and physics. She's not." I chuckled out. "I'm sure she'll need a tutor." Caroline stated. "Yes she will. I'm sure I can find someone for the job. How are you doing?" I asked her.

"Well, there's going to be another Founder's day parade coming up. Would you like to come?" Caroline asked me. "No. I already ran my course with that one. 4 freaking times." I stated. "I meant to show support, not be on the actual float." Caroline clarified, hitting my left arm playful. "I'd be happy to join you guys." I told Caroline. "Great, see you there." She said as her usual cheerful self before walking off.

Right as she left, my phone started to ring. Quickly finding my way out of the hallway and school, I got to the front yard and answered my phone as I walked towards the parking lot.

"You choose now to call me?!" I asked in disbelief on the phone.

"Hey, where are you?" Jasmine asked me.

"Why? What does it matter to you anyway?" I asked her, suspiciously.

"I was going over to your place to tell you something and uh.. I may have bumped into your uncle." Jasmine stated.

"You what?" I asked hoping she was kidding, before closing my eyes in frustration wanting to yell, but nothing would come out.

"Relax, I faked my way through him. He didn't suspect a thing." She insisted to me.

"Oh, yeah? What did you tell him?" I wondered, raising an eyebrow.

"I just told him I got the wrong house. And I was looking for a different Angie." Jasmine stated, causing me to feel the urge to plum my face at that point.

"Look, before I start screaming at you at how dumb you can be sometimes, I have to ask you one thing. What was so important, that you just was dying to tell me?" I told her.

"Okay, I don't know why, but I was watching over your brother.." Jasmine started out.

"That's just.. look, please don't stalk my brother anymore." I warned her.

"You didn't let me finish. After a while I got bored and somehow ended up watching over your aunt Jenna. And I saw something pretty interesting..." Jasmine started out.

"And.. what did you find?" I asked her, curiously.

"I saw your aunt go somewhere almost out-of-town, but still nearby. She was going into an apartment on Carver street. As she drove up, she was on the phone. With a woman. I think her name was Lacy or something. I couldn't really hear well. Anyway the woman showed up and they both went into the apartment to have a private conversation. At that point, they were out of my hearing zone, so I couldn't interfere." Jasmine told me.

I thought it over for a second. "Wait... did you just say a woman? What's her name? What does she look like?" I asked wondering if it was the same mysterious woman who was talking to Jenna on the phone a while back.

"I don't know! I think it started with an L. Also, she seemed pretty tall, about your height. Straight plain brown hair, nothing really special about her. She seemed decent looking. Had nice curves. She was an African-American and to make matters worse... she's a bloody witch!" Jasmine described her to me.

"What? No." I said in disbelief.

"Believe me. I know a witch when I smell one and I practically would have sensed her coming from miles." Jasmine stated.

"Well this is just great, first my so-called 'mother' comes to town, my uncle is practically taking over the entire council by now and now, Jenna is getting mixed up in this whole supernatural allure. And that's not even the worse part!" I ranted out to myself, being careful not to reveal the fact I mysteriously blacked out last night and couldn't remember a thing, other than seeing Elena back out of the driveway.

"I thought your mother was dead?" Jasmine stated. "I'm adopted. It's a long complicated story, that I'd be happy to tell you the day I get drunk as hell, but right now I want you to keep a close eye on my aunt. When she gets home, you tell me and we both can confront her, okay?" I told her. "Technically, she's already home as in in town, but I get what you mean." Jasmine said, "Roger out."

With that we both hanged up and I started getting a headache again. Shaking it off, I soon decided to speed off towards the cemetery.

Don't know why, but I was in the cemetery. It was like something was drawing me here, but I didn't know what. I kept walking around looking down briefly at a few tombstones and soon left the cemetery completely. I stood just right outside, shaking my head.

I honestly don't know what's wrong with me anymore. At thought I was going to be fine. That everything would be okay for me. But instead things just took a turn for the worse. I don't even know where my mental state is going.

Am I going mad?

Am I really seeing things or are those things actually real?

Is there a cure to stop this?

Will I ever be mentally... me, again?

I blinked slightly, hearing footsteps behind me. I turned around but saw nothing. The wind was blowing and I continued to walk near its direction. I soon came face to face with mud. Large area crafts of mud, and certain ones looked stepped in. I followed the foot prints, until it lead me to a dead-end. "So much for that random idea." I said to myself, ready to turn back yet for some reason I couldn't go back.

I mean, physically, I could.. but it was like something was keeping me here.

Something wanted me to find it.

I took a deep breath, ready to give in and look for whatever wanted to be found by me. I sped around every area in the woods I could go to and made certain I wasn't searching in the same area I had searched just 2 minutes ago. Not finding anything, I was ready to officially go back seeing as I was just wasting my time and saw a mark on a tree. The mark looked dented as if something had hit against it and whatever had hit it left a bit of blood. Seeing as this was bizarre evidence to me, I took out a piece of string I knew I had somewhere within my back pockets and tied it to the tree's branch to indicate it was the marked tree.

Hopefully, that would be enough so I could come back later and remember exactly where it is to investigate more into it. Seeing as there as nothing else to look for, I left the woods and cemetery completely, not looking back.

I soon went back home deciding to relax and think clearfully on what could be happening to me right now. Right when I passed the front door, I heard a crash sound in the kitchen. Quickly dashing, I found Jasmine blocking Jenna's way of leaving the kitchen and Jenna was holding up a wooden spoon.

"Angie! Thank god, you're here. Tell your friend to leave, she won't leave me alone!" Jenna demanded.

"Listen, Jenna... Elena, Jeremy and I all love you, alright? Really, we do. We want the best for you no matter what." I started out smoothly. "What are you saying?" Jenna asked out deeply confused on what was going on at the moment. "Where have you been going off to lately?" I soon asked her.

"Work and to the campus. Where else?" Jenna stated as if it were already obvious at this point.

"Why were you in Carver street out-of-town with a stranger? Who is she and why were you with her today?" I asked her being as straightforward as possible. "Carver street? Out of town.. I-I don't know what you're talking about. I was never on Carver street. Even if I was, how or why would you be there to catch me in the act?" Jenna asked me. "I have inside information." I stated, folding my arms across my chest ready to stare her down if necessary.

"Oh, you mean your little friend over there? Yeah, would you mind not following me at campus like some creepy stalker." Jenna stated, feeling a bit outraged. "I'm just doing my job." Jasmine shrugged not giving a care to the world as usual. "Look, Jenna, just answer me this. Sometimes.. now, not all the time.. but sometimes when the phone rings and there's no voice on the other line.. what do you hear? Do you know the person?" I asked her cautiously.

"I.. I.." Jenna stuttered.

"Close your eyes and think back at all those phone calls we have received at this house. It's always the same unknown number. Who is it? Please tell us." I tried to figure out a way to get in. "I...uh.." Jenna thought long and hard about it. As this went on, I looked at her trying to see if I could get into her head, but due to the vervain and another unknown blockage, it wasn't possible.

"I don't know, Angie. All I know is I hang up the phone as soon as nobody on the other line answered. I'm sorry. And I was never on Carver street with Lucy, I was busy at work. So whoever, you thought it was on Carver street, wasn't me at all." Jenna stated. Angie nodded and grabbed Jasmine by the shoulder. "Ouch, the pinch!" She exclaimed. "Yeah, sorry Jenna. I promise I'll make sure Jasmine won't bother you again." I stated, dragging Jasmine along with me all the way outside to the front porch.

"Okay, let go, before my shoulder gives." Jasmine stated, causing me to roll my eyes at how overdramatic my friend was being and let go of her. "So this is it then? It's all over. Case closed; it was just some convenient lookalike then?" Jasmine started out sarcastically in disbelief.

"No, the case is still open and in session. Something isn't right here. Ever since Jenna has been staying here, I've been feeling weird vibes from her. I thought it was all in my head, just being my usual paranoid self, but then I noticed the signs and thought.. what if Jenna is connected to them somehow.. someway. I mean, she's not supernatural, nor does she know anything about them as far as I'm concerned. But I know something is up. She's hiding something from me. I know it." I stated, for certain.

"Hey." Jasmine called out for my attention. "What?" I asked out, seeing she had a funny look on her face. "Did you hear what your aunt had said back there?" Jasmine asked me. "Um, what.. other than the part where she DIDN'T go to Carver street?" I asked rhetorically. "She said and I quote 'And I was never on Carver street with Lucy, I was busy at work.' See anything off from that sentence?" Jasmine tested me slightly. I thought it over for a long second and realized what she meant.

"Lucy? Lacy? 'L'?" I started out. "I told you the girl I thought Jenna met name's started with an 'L'. Now, how could Jenna know the stranger we mentioned to her briefly name was Lucy, when we never once told her the stranger's actual name. Gender, yes, we said a she as in a girl, but never an actual identity. That's where she screwed up." Jasmine stated with a small grin. I grinned slightly, seeing as the case hasn't even begun to get closed yet. Before I could say anything, I got a text from Alaric. "Okay, I have business to take care of." I stated, quickly skimming through the texts ready to leave.

"But, what am I suppose to do?" Jasmine asked out. "You're the stalker girl in our friendship, help me get more information on my aunt. She's not getting off the hook that easily until we figure out what the hell is going on." I enforced her.

"So, basically you're like Sherlock and I'm your Watson?" Jasmine teased slightly. I shook my head in reply. "Elementary my dear, Jassy, we're barely there. I repeat; barely there." I stated, almost jokingly, before speeding off to the address Alaric sent me on where Damon was going to start trouble and as almost always,

I had to be the one to stop the fight.

Following the address up to where Alaric told me, I parked my car two houses away from the actual house I needed to be in. Walking up to the house, I could hear music. The house was big as a mansion.

At least Isobel has taste.

I sighed softly, before forcing myself to go passed the gates and enter the house that had no lock on it. What was it with vampires and having houses with no security alert whatsoever? Just because we're immortal, doesn't mean we can't be killed in our sleeps.

"Oh Oh, Cherie, you won again. I hope I'm wearing my good underwear." I heard Damon state. By the time I entered the room he was in, I nearly gasped and quickly turned away from the scene, seeing as Damon was shirtless and was about to get nude in front of me and some random girl. "Angie... well hello there." I heard Damon state. I looked back at him to see his jeans were still on and he was walking slowly towards me.

"Like what you see?" He teased. "Please just... let's not go there." I demanded. "Okay fine. Let's go to the boring un-fun stuff then. Why are you here?" Damon asked me. "Alaric sent me a text that you were gonna have a talk with Isobel, which I figured was translated in you were going to kill Isobel. So he bugged your car with a tracking device and found out the address you were heading." I explained to him.

"Remind me to kill him, when I'm done with Isobel." Damon requested of me, ready to go back playing with the random girl in the room. "Yeah see, that's where you're wrong. I don't want you to kill Isobel. Hurt her, yes, threaten her, okay... but not kill her." I told him. "I thought you hated her." Damon reminded me. "And I still do, but remember what Alaric said, Isobel is pretty crafty. We can't risk going after her. At least not right now." I informed him.

"I made Isobel who she is. I'm pretty capable of figuring her out." Damon informed me.

"Well isn't this a scene?" I heard a raspy voice near me. I froze and took a few steps forward, before twirling around to look who was most likely behind me. My eyes widened in shock knowing exactly I have seen her before.

"Hey, guys! Wait up!" I yelled out as Lexi was walking pretty fast for her speed. "Come on, you're a vampire. You can catch up!" Lexi stated. "I can, but Sophie can't. Come on, Lex, be fair." I told her. "Ah, fine!" Lexi said, stopping her walk so we could quickly catch up with her.

"Thanks!" Sophie thanked Lexi sarcastically. "Well, you're welcome." Lexi did the same to her. "Okay, girls, enough before we end up in a cat fight." I warned them both with a laugh. "Okay, I'm going to get you two some shoes. You wanna come in?" Lexi asked me. "Nah, you go on ahead. You already know what I like and my size. I'll be out here waiting. I'll be fine." I told them. "Fine, suit yourself then." Sophie stated, going into the shoe store. I exhaled slightly, feeling a weird vibe on the street. Turning my head to the side I saw a woman. She was staring back at me. Raven black hair, grayish blue eyes and pale slightly freckled skin.

I eyed her slightly, sensing something off about her. Why was she eyeing at me like that? She soon blinked and quickly walked off. I decided to hold my shopping bag tight and follow her, knowing she was staring at me for a reason. Once we got into an alley, where no one could spot us, I sped over and pinned her to the wall tight, unknowingly dropping my bags.

"Who the hell are you?" I asked out.

"Ah, you're pretty strong for a newbie." She stated.

"Who are you?" I asked out again, putting more pressure to her throat.

"Look just tell me your name." I asked her.

"Isobel." She soon admitted after a minute of silence.

"Isobel, huh? What a pretty name." I started out, "Did Klaus sent you to stalk me down?"

Isobel smiled slightly, not saying a word.

"Listen to me, because I'm in such a nice mood, I'll let you live. Now go and don't come back. If I ever see you tracking me down for Klaus again... you'll be dead this time, I swear." I warned her. Isobel looked at me slightly and soon walked off. "It was nice meeting you, Angelina." She said, before walking away. I shook my head at the weird vibe I still was getting from her and picked up my shopping bag, before speeding back to the shoe store as if nothing had happened.

"Isobel." I started out with mixed emotions. She smirked at me slightly. "Hello, Angie. It's been a while." She stated, causing me to eye her again. I just couldn't believe I had met her before.

It seemed so unreal. "You know, you missed our little meeting at the Grill? What happened there? I really wanted to see you along with Elena." Isobel stated. I kept my eyes locked on her not knowing what to say to her. "What's wrong sweetheart? Cat got your tongue?" Isobel teased. "It's good to see you, Isobel. I was just having fun with your naughty little minion." Damon moved on with the conversation.

"How did you find me?" Isobel soon asked Damon. "Search for the neighborhood bank owned foreclosures and found the most expensive one. Angie just tracked me down here." Damon told her.

"Oh I should have known. You're the one that taught me that. What are you really doing here?" Isobel asked. "Well you caused quite a stir, you blew into town. Saw everyone expect the man who made you. I'm a little hurt." Damon said, leaning towards her. "I'm so sorry." Isobel said, until suddenly twisting Damon's head and pinning him to the nearby wall. "Did you bring the device?" Isobel continued, letting him go.

"Heh. Ow. What are you doing with John Gilbert?" Damon soon questioned her. "We dated a few times when we were young. He was a little bit in love with me." Isobel stated. "He must have, if you were able to have Elena and me." I shrugged at the reasoning. "So.. you know." Isobel stated the obvious. "Do I look stupid to you? Of course I know." I informed her. Isobel grinned at me slightly. "It's funny how much you're like me. It's like looking through a personality mirror." Isobel stated briefly circling around me in curiosity. "I'm anything but like you and John combined." I ensured her. "Now, this little invention what do you want with it?" Damon soon asked her.

"Oh, me personally? I don't want anything with it. I'm just doing what I'm told. You know Damon we're on both sides." Isobel said, walking slowly up to Damon. Him being shirtless and Isobel's little body language going on, I could already tell what was going on. Isobel was trying to seduce him. Well.. this should be fun to watch.

"Oh yeah? What side is that?" Damon wondered.

"Katherine's. She wants John Gilbert to have the device and I think that you know that she's not happy when she doesn't get what she wants." Isobel stated. Damon brushed her off. "Why are you doing her dirty work?" He asked her, for me. So Katherine's around... hmm...

"Don't kill the messenger. We both know we can't control Katherine. She does what she wants." Isobel stated for a fact. "So do I." Damon told her. "Oh really Damon? You do? What should we do now?" Isobel stated, getting seductively close to him and they both laughed. Seconds later they started kissing. "Oh, okay." I started out to myself, slowly walking away from the scene towards the entrance way. I stopped and turned to see they were still making out, until Damon suddenly flipped her and slammed her down the floor.

"Now that I have your attention, listen up. You do not come into my town; threatening the people I care about. Going after Elena? Bad move. You try to get to Angie again, you'll have to deal with me first. You leave them both alone or I'll rip you to bits because I do believe in killing the messenger. You know why? Because it sends a message. Katherine wants something from me? You tell that little bitch to come get it herself." Damon warned her, before leaving the house. I watched the scene nearly bewildered, before following him close behind.

"What was that?" I asked out in confusion.

"A message." He told me.

"Okay... Now tell me one thing. What is this device Katherine wants?" I asked him curiously.

"The Gilbert compass. Remember that device Logan had, that I took and Elena had? Katherine wants it, for whatever reason. Don't worry about it, if Katherine wants it, she'll have to come to me first and get it." Damon stated. "Yeah, alright then. Look, I need to go home and check on Elena. I'll talk to you later." I told him, before getting into my car ready to drive back home.

"Ange. Angie! Hey, Angie. Wake up!"

I soon woke up alert only to see it was only Matt.

"Matt? Oh god, you scared me!" I chuckled out tiredly. "Heh. Sorry. It's just the shop's almost nearing closing time and I wanted to let you know so you wouldn't get trapped in. Again." Matt informed me. I rolled my eyes at him. "Once at age 18, and you people will still never let me live that shame down." I shook my head at him.

"Yeah. Anyway, you need to be going. Sorry." Matt said. I nodded and soon got out of the booth and left the Grill. "Whatever I bought, put it on my tab." I instructed him briefly, not even remembering what I had or the Grill or really why I was even there.

I soon checked my phone in shock to see how many text messages I had received. One that got me extremely steamed was from Elena stating that Isobel had kidnapped Jeremy and if they didn't give back the Gilbert device, she'd hurt him. This was sent to me hours ago. Jeremy could be dead right now! Shaking my head, I dialed Damon hoping to get a response.

"You choose now to call?" Damon stated, unknowingly mimicking what I said to Jasmine earlier.

"Look, I don't know what happened.. but please tell me Jeremy is still alive." I asked out, feeling scared for Jeremy and how I could have slept through the whole afternoon.

"We don't know yet. We're going to make a deal with Isobel soon." Damon told me.

"A deal? With the Gilbert device? How on earth were you able to give in that easily?" I asked him, curiously.

"Let's just say Elena's good when it comes to being persuasive." Damon stated.

"Where do you think she got it from?" I stated, "Anyway, where are you? I want to be there to make sure nothing fishy goes on and Isobel keeps her word."

"I'll send you the address. Where are you?" Damon asked.

"I'm outside the Grill." I stated.

"Well, lucky you, we're not that far from there." Damon told me, before hanging up. I sighed briefly, speeding away from the Grill and eventually stopped mid way as I spotted Elena standing out in the middle of the street.

"Elena." I called out.

"Angie? What are you doing here?" She asked me in a whisper like voice. Sensing a presence nearby, I stepped further away having a far good distance between me and Elena.

"Where is the device?" Isobel sped up and asked Elena.

"Where is my brother?" Elena asked her.

"This isn't a negotiation. Where is the invention?" Isobel demanded Elena to tell her.

"Do you really think I came alone?" Isobel said smugly, as two of her minions came out of the darkness.

"Did you really think that I came alone?" Elena remarked as Stefan and Damon stepped out of the shadows. I came out slowly as well, crossing my arms tightly eyeing Isobel.

"Hello again, Isobel." I started out.

Isobel looked between all of us and the Salvatore brothers.

"For god sakes, call home." Isobel stated.

I pulled out my phone and quickly dialed home and handed it over to Elena.

"Hello?" I could hear Jeremy's voice ring out, causing me to sigh in relief. Thank god he was okay!

After Elena stopped talking to Jeremy over the phone she hung up handing back over my phone.

"You were never going to hurt him." Elena stated. "No, I was going to kill him. Don't look for redeeming qualities in me. I don't have any." Isobel stated coldly. "But you took a risk with Damon. How did you know he was gonna give it to me?" Elena asked out, which I deeply wondered as well.

"Because he's in love with you." Isobel said glancing between us both. Why was she looking at me for?

Elena and I both, looked behind us to look at Damon and Stefan. Damon and I both shrugged our shoulders in confusion, not knowing what she was talking about. Elena soon handed over the device to Isobel.

"Thank you." Elena said, after a long pause.

"For what?" Isobel asked.

"For being such a monumental disappointment. It keeps the memory of my real mother perfectly intact." Elena informed her. "Goodbye, Elena. As long as you have a Salvatore on each arm, you're doomed. Katherine was smart. She got out. But we all know you're not Katherine." Isobel practically warned to Elena. She then looked over at me. "Well, it was splendid meeting you, Angie." Isobel stated, which sounded a little mockingly to me.

"I wish I could say the same for you Isobel. I really wish I could say the same." I told her, showing how disappointed I was at her. I already knew she would be a big disappointment to me, so this was no surprise. But to actually see for my own eyes on how right I was.. just... it hurt. It really hurt, that your mother could careless about you. Granted she doesn't have her humanity, but considering she never went back for us and just abandoned Elena and I with Grayson, was just a shot-gun to the head for me.

After Isobel, along with her minions, left the scene, Elena ran up to Stefan and hugged him. She briefly looked over at Damon who was busy looking at me mouthing "Are you okay?" I nodded in reply, deciding to leave the scene as well and check on Jeremy just to be on the safe side.

Going home, it was dark inside, which I found a bit odd seeing as it wasn't even midnight yet.

"Hello? Jeremy? You up?" I called out.

"Hello, Angie." I heard Jenna's voice ring out to me. She was slowly approaching me. "Jenna? Is Jeremy asleep? Why are you still up?" I asked her. "Jeremy's asleep." Jenna stated, with an odd-looking glimmer in her eye. "Jenna are you alright?" I asked out.

"Oh, I'm fine. But you're won't." Jenna stated.

"Wha-?" I asked out, before speeding away from her. I turned around and tried to speed out of the house, but there was an unknown invisible barrier keeping me from leaving. I fell to the ground screaming as Jenna started stabbing me with a wooden stake.

"Too bad it had to go this way. I really did like you, but you knew too much." Jenna stated, flipping me on my front ready to stake me through my heart.

"AH!" I gasped out painfully hitting my foot underneath the table. I looked around seeing I was still at the Grill.

Why was I at the Grill again? It was dark, but obviously there was one person still inside the restaurant other than myself. I quickly dashed out of the restaurant and sensed something. It was Jasmine's perfume. She must have been nearby.

I followed the scent oddly to the back of the Grill. Once I got to the back, I slapped my head across my mouth to prevent myself from screaming at the horror. Blood was smeared on the walls and Jasmine was stabbed everywhere but in the heart. She was losing her blood and slowly healing.

"Oh my god! Jasmine! Jasmine! What happened?!" I exclaimed, running to her side. She coughed up blood looking over at me. "Oh god, please don't die. Please." I tried to keep her calm and breathing seeing as she was having trouble breathing as well. "Please, tell me. What happened. Who did this to you?" I asked out. Jasmine coughed up more blood trying to force herself to answer me. "Je.. Jen.. I.. saw... Ka.." Jasmine struggled out.

"Please tell me, Jasmine, please! I need to know." I said, checking to see if there were any stakes in any part of her body.

None.

She just looked like she was stabbed near to death.

But how could that happen?

And why wasn't she healing fast enough, because the marks didn't look that fresh to me.

"Ka.., Je.." Jasmine muttered out.

"Wait, Ka.. as in Katherine? Katherine did this to you?" I asked out. "I-, I don't know.. she... Jen.. a.." Jasmine tried to tell me.

"Wait Jenna? What are you trying to say?" I asked her feeling so confused. "They...they're.. after.." Jasmine stated out, about to pass out. "No, wake up. Jasmine wake up." I begged, moving her unconscious form, feeling so much anger towards Katherine and what she did to my friend.

She will pay for this, though.

She will pay.

I jumped slightly, hearing the thunder-storm roar and lightning flash out. I turned around quickly and got to my feet scanning my surroundings.

I was at home in the living room. My head was ringing as I gasped in pain. Seeing as my vision was going blurry, I ran near the kitchen sink and turned on the water. Once the cold freezing water was running, I splashed it repeatedly on my face to wake up, seeing as it was my only key at waking up at this point. I inhaled and exhaled quickly, wiping the water away from my eyes and nose. I turned around and saw the shadow once again. Feeling my blood starting to boil, my face shifted at it.

"You are getting on my goddamn nerves. Leave me alone!" I yelled out at it. Once it took a movement forward, I bared my fangs at it screaming, "LEAVE. ME. ALONE!", Before speeding toward it ready to attack, but found myself go right through it as if it were the wind.

Then... that's when the whispers came again.

"No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no! NO! NO! Get OUT! Get out of my head, NOW!" I demanded trying to fight the unknown mind manipulation. I reached out for my phone that was conveniently, a few feet away from me on the kitchen floor that I may have dropped. I reach out, hoping to dial for help. The second I reach out for my phone, I felt numb and my eyes rolled back into my head as the darkness took over once more.
