Before & After: HS Chapter 21: Episode Nineteen, a bakugan battle brawlers fanfic

Hello again. I hope you like the last chapter, even though I felt and know I rushed it... and I know I shouldn't but ideas came in my mind and I just kept writing. As I was writing it didn't felt right... It may not be one of my favorites but I hope you like it my lovely readers. This chapter will have a lot of songs on here, be prepare.

Fun Facts: Shadow Hearts characters will not be used for the remaining chapters. Vampire Princess Miyu characters you wont see them for awhile. History Strongest Diciple Kenichi characters will be coming back in the next chapter.

Before I start the chapter I want to put up the gang scheldule for school. First up Shun, Fabia and Alice; Oh also the school year starts around the Fall and they have a one month break before a new school year starts. Since the first chapter til now a year and one month passed; now they are sophmores. While Tony is a senor year student.

Chapter Nineteen: Final Encounter Part 1

Julie POV:

It has been almost a month since the rescue of Daisy and Kohaku. Everyone is taking it day by day. Hilda went home with her daughter, Keith went back home to rest with Joachim on tow heading home to start training. Reiha I believe that is her name; continue the search for Morgan since the cave explosion. Yui and Nagi followed behind to watch Reiha making sure she doesn't do anything reckless. Miyu and Larva are saving there energy until the next battle.

The rest of us continue with normal high school life. After three days, Kohaku started high school with us. So far it has been good... Besides the nasty looks Sharleen has given him. I don't blame her. Thinking that your boyfriend was dead all this time I would be piss too. I also see his point of view wanting to protect her which I think is sweet. But if you think about it she will get involved sooner or later and if your not near to protect her whats the point.

Of course that's only my opinion, nothing else. We are all at a stand still till Morgan makes her move again or when Reiha finds her. Until than we are just dealing with a normal high school life.

Flashback: Five Days Before Christmas

Normal POV:

"She hasn't talk to me in two weeks." Kohaku complained. Christmas break and it is homework study session at the Misaki Café. A lot of assignments need to be done; including a history class paper which is due tomorrow; start of the new semester. "Try three months. Remember she only talked those two weeks after the cave incident. Don't be so upset." Ren said with sarcasim. Kohaku threw his eraser at Ren head at his comment. Runo coming from the backroom with coffee, placing it in front of them. "Don't forget to pay me after your done." Runo said walking away.

"No friend discount?" Ren grinned.

"Not unless you want to pay bills for the diner and our apartment. You get no discount."

"Pleassse, just this once?" Making a cutesy voice. Runo looked at Ren with disgust and slight amusement.

"You had enough discounts Ren. Besides instead of bugging me you should be... I don't know... Saving your energy on asking out Fabia." Runo smirked.

Ren blushed; Kohaku also held a smirk at this new found information; "Fabia? You like her?"

"Oh yeah (giggles) Ren got it bad. Im surprised you haven't notice." Runo said placing the tray down and taking a seat at the stool booth across from their table.

"He's too busy being upset that his girlfriend isn't paying him no attention." Ren said with a sly grin.

"At least I have a girlfriend and she knows how I feel." Kohaku made a comeback, Runo started to laugh. Ren of course was not amused by the comment; Kohaku did had a point. They both did. He is going to have to confess sooner or later. He just hopes she wont reject him.

Talking for over an hour, Shun, Dan, Ace and Alice came through the door with books in hand. Talking some more they got into a conversation about going back to earth. Kohaku has seen the portals but was surprise to hear they aren't from Neo Earth.

"Im glad the machine works, we can go from Earth to back here." Alice said taking a sip of her lemon tea with honey.

"You and Mira did a great job working on it." Dan said drinking his Coke-Cola working on his math homework.

"How is Mira doing Ace." Runo asked.

"She still has the flu. She has been working late nights, when she is suppose to be resting. Does she listen... No." Ace shrugged. Bursting through the door Julie runs in with Sharleen right behind her. Julie goes behind Shun, keeping him still so he can protect her. "Save me... She wants to kill me!" Julie cries out.

"You damn right! Who are you to sign me up for some stupid contest?" Sharleen trying to move around Shun.

"I thought it would be okay." Julie dragging Shun with her.

"Well its not!" She almost grabbed her but Julie moved out of the way fast.

"Calm down Sharleen. Its not all that bad." Runo shrugged off there bickering. Seeing Shun being tossed around is an added bonus to her day.

"Im glad you think so. Julie signed you up as well."

"... WHAT!" Runo slammed her hands on the table booth.

"Its not that bad Runo. We're all singing as a group." Sharleen smirked feeling good that she burst Runo little bubble.

"Who the hell is we?" Runo put quotes on the word 'we'.

"You, me, Sharleen, Alice, Fabia, Mira. Hanako told me about the contest she is a judge as well." Julie continued bashfully.

"... Are you crazy?/I should drink you dry!" Both Sharleen and Runo said together. None of the others are willing to get involve with there bickering. Including when Runo is piss off. Kohaku learned that the hard way himself. Those two are one of a kind having the same bad temper which is very scary.

As I stop singing I turned to Eric to see if it was okay. His approval would mean so much to me; "so..." He stares at me, started to clap his hands. Feeling a blush on my cheeks, I felt proud. I just want from words on what he truly thinks. "Is it really good?"

"You did good. You will be an excellent songwriter if you came up with a song like that an one day." Patting my head. I really hate when he does that. Makes me feel I'm not his equal and I don't want to feel this way when with Eric.

"Don't treat me like a child" my face started to pout.

"I wasn't treating you as a child. I either do this or do something else. Very inappropriate things... like your innocence." My body froze and my face turn a dark red.

"Y-you... you... PERVERT!" I shouted. He started to laugh at my outburst. Great now he's teasing me.

"Don't be so upset (grabs me by the waist). I'm just letting you know what goes on with my dirty mind. I'm ashame of myself thinking these thoughts toward a student. As my girlfriend; its natural to feel this way. I am a man Fabia; cant help it sometimes. The best solution is to distract my mind; no matter how hard it is since I have such an attractive girl next to me." He purred in my ear sending a chill down my spine. Realsing his grip on me he gets down on one knee again his actions freezes me in place.

"It would be my dearest pleasure. Please if you will, go on a date with me?" Kissing my right hand. He excited yet scared me all the same time. Didn't found it so strange. One day I would love to marry this man in the future. For now I will be satisfy with a simple yet thrilling first date.

This action I couldn't help but smile at his antics; "Of course you big idiot" pulling him in for a chaste kiss.

Mira POV:

"Keith don't worry. The machine works, we can use it instead of asking you to teleport..." Talking on the phone with my brother Keith. "Yes I know you don't mind... Well I do Keith. We all care Keith, its unfair to you. Yes... yes... I love you too big brother. I see you have gotten soft... How is Amanda doing? What... Why? You just got together... I actually like this girl Keith... Yes better than Sophie... She may be smart but she dress like a slut... No its a fact... Fine if you prefer her over Amanda its fine with me... Is that why your not interested in her because of Gus...? Gus likes her? He has good taste unlike you... Yeah ill talk to you tomorrow."

As I said that I can hear the front door opening. It must be Ace. "I have to go Keith... Your taking away from my beauty sleep... Love you too bro... Goodnight." Coming in my bedroom was someone I didn't expect. Not only did Ace walk in, also Julie and Sharleen.

"Hey Mira, how are you feeling?"

"I feel better. Not that im upset your here, why are you here?" Looking at Julie and Sharleen. Sharleen nudge Julie with her shoulder. This aint good.

"I signed you guys up for a contest ."

"Who is us?"

"Hanako asked me if we can do a contest with her. And I told her it would be okay to sign up." No surprise, this sounds like something she would do.

"Your not upset are you?" Julie asked feeling nervous.

"I knew you for a long time. Its no surprise you would do something like this silly. No im not mad at all." Julie squealed jumping with joy bringing me to a tight hug.

Next Day

Normal POV:

"Yui is the last guardian of shinma after my mom. You see when Yui mother was pregnant with her my mother drunk her blood. Sorry let me rephrase... Gave her blood to Yui mother. The blood wasn't meant for the mother, but for Yui. You see, if Yui was born she wouldn't survive long. The baby would have been to weak. So my mother strengthen her. By biting her mother she drunk some of her blood and mixed her own blood in her system. It may sound a little weird for you. Also complicated. That's why its hard to explain certain things about vampire's. Hard to explain since it is natural and we already know. That's why im not much help on the matter."

"Vampire history is so cool!" Billy said with stars in his eyes. Outside in the court yard at school. Waiting for after school activitys to be over. "I get it so that is why human schools don't have a class about demons?" Billy asked spinning a basketball in his right hand.

"Yeah its too complicated. The only ones that can clearly understand are demons. Teaching it to humans will be a waste. So much explaining, why did you take up vampire history anyway?" Sharleen asked looking at Billy.

"I thought it will be cool. Alice is taking it too" he pointed out.

"Alice knows a little about vampires... Oh you don't... What really? I mean really; we hate sunlight." Sharleen almost laughed.

Billy was a little insulted not being included in on the psychic joke. "Wait you do? That would explain having sensitive skin. That's why your so pale because you burn easily" Billy stated.

"Over the years vampires became immune to the sunlight. We don't burn as easily as we used to. Or as pale. That's why its so hard to tell between vampires and humans; unless you see our fangs. But yes, some vampires have a little color in them" correcting Billy theory.

"Okay what about garlic. You admit yourself Sharleen you hate garlic" Billy argued.

"I do hate garlic not really my favorite thing. Vampires have sensitive sense of smell. All demons have this trait" Sharleen argued back.

"Well wooden-" Billy didn't finish before Sharleen interrupted him

"That can kill anyone dumbass. Come on I've been with you for a year now and you know nothing about vampires still. Even demons for that matter" Sharleen looked at Billy with disappointment.

"Forget that aren't you cold? Its frezzing out here" Runo shivered.

"It's hot in the gym I came out for some fresh air. I will see you guys later after school" Billy called out running back to the gym.

"Tony how come your not on the basketball team?" Runo asked wrapping her scarf around her neck.

"Basketball team got filled up. Besides I wanted to try football." Tony said coming behind Sharleen grabbing her waist.

"Let go of me/her." Both Kohaku and Sharleen unison.

"Wow; you two are the perfect couple" Tony teased.

"Who would want a stubborn girl like her?" Kohaku questioned, a tint of red on his cheeks.

"Go to hell Kohaku!" Sharleen yelled. Ignoring the couple argue the rest of the gang continued there conversation waiting up for there two friends.

"So how is your sister?" Runo asked Tony.

"She's fine considering all I hear is, 'where is James Daisy!?'. I barely get any sleep when those two hangout. Lauren and Daisy go back and forth with this argument. I don't know how much longer I can take it. Daisy already said she doesn't know. Man, I swear she is thick headed" Tony made an exhausted sigh.

"Sounds a little like you" Runo giggled.

"How can you say that?" Tony wasn't upset about what she said. He was just happy he made her laugh.

"Aw look you made him blush Runo" Ren teased as he pinched Tony left cheek. Tony smacked his hand away. Having the sort of friendship we're they tease each other constantly.

"You shouldn't talk Ren. She just made me a little embarrassed. At least im not lovesick" Tony stated.

"Ren is lovesick..." A voice behind Ren ask. Fabia looking at the gang for response, mostly at Ren. Feeling bad putting him on the spot; then again also found it amusing.

"Im not lovesick! Don't listen to this idiot!" Ren became frantic glares at Tony grin.

"You might have an admirer Ren."

"Admirer" everyone asked.

"Yeah a girl in our English class. She is always staring at you with loving eyes. I saw you made past glances at her in class. I thought maybe you like her" Fabia respond. Truth is he was looking at Fabia not the girl. Fabia is two seats in back of her on the right.

An honest mistake of course Ren wont say it. "I wasn't looking at the girl. Maybe I did glance at her a couple of times. I felt someone was staring at me" Ren blushed.

"Really I get the same feeling" Fabia smiled. Not long after Fabia, Alice came outside two minutes later. They all left to go to the café, the rest of the gang still having afternoon activities will meet them at the café. On the walk, having a private conversation in back of the group; Sharleen wanted someway in talking to Kohaku without arguments.

"Morgan is still out there" Sharleen started a conversation.

"Yeah... There is nothing we can do now. Rest and wait to see what happens next" walking closer to his former girlfriend.

"Resting? All I do is rest and wait; time for action. We have her on the run; that's why she is avoiding us. I can't rest and wait anymore Kohaku" looks at her feet when walking.

"Neither can I. If Reiha, the snow queen can rest. We should be okay" Kohaku smiled as he grab hold of Sharleen hand.

"More like grumpy snow witch" Sharleen smiled back still looking at her feet.

"Im sorry (Kohaku stops walking making Sharleen stop to stare). It was the only way... Im sorry" Kohaku apologize.

"I understand... More or less... Like you said im stubborn; wouldn't listen even with a good reason" Sharleen squeezed his hand.

"I've missed you." Kohaku eyes sparked with confidence.

"Words cant express how I feel..." Sharleen admitted.

"Maybe I can help" Kohaku leans in for a kiss, Sharleen greatly accepts. The mood was over when they heard Runo shout, "You are a moron" They couldn't help but laugh. As they watch Runo get work up over the phone; talking to Dan most likely. Walk faster to catch up to the gang Kohaku never felt so alive and free. Finally he can be with his princess again.

January 10th Monday 6:00pm

Normal POV:

Walking along the streets, heading to Misaki Café. Hanako wearing a plain white long sleeve, brown button up winter coat, light blue skinny jeans, with original ugg boots. Going inside the café it was packed with people. Which was a surprise. The store doesn't have this many people around this time. Being notice by Alice she signaled her to go in the back room to the apartment. Opening the door, Hanako took a seat waiting for the girls to be ready. Passing the time she played music on her ipod while doing her homework. The song that played was one of her favorites. By a new male artist. Goes by the name 'Red', which she thinks is an odd name. I've heard weirder ones before Hanako thought.

As she listen to the song, she sings along with the lyrics. She played it so many times she knows it by heart.

"I wont fight the feelings in my heart. I'm man (she says; woman) enough to admit that. Sorry I pushed you away. Watashi wa anata o tassuru koto ga dekiru koto o negate imasu. Hanarete dorifuto shinai." A clapping sound came from the door entrance. At the door was Julie and Kohaku. When did they get here Hanako asked herself.

"You sing really good Hanako. I'm impressed" Julie said still clapping.

"Never heard that song before." Kohaku taking a seat next to Hanako.

"It's by Red correct? Well real name is Ashton Ketchum. A new artist that came out last year. Didn't became popular until six months ago. His first album is coming out February fourteen... Right" Julie looked at Hanako.

"Yeah... It does."

"Why so bashful? Have a crush on the guy?" Kohaku asked, getting up to get a drink.

"N-no! I just like his music! I'm a fan... That's all!" Hanako becoming frantic, making it so obvious.

"I don't blame you. He's hot! Kohaku mind getting orange juice" Julie called out. Coming back with two sets of drinks. Hanako starts to explain the concert rules. "So we can sing in groups? How many rounds is there?" Julie asked finishing up her juice going back to the fridge to get more.

"Eight maybe ten rounds. It starts next week so be prepared." Hanako checking her phone at the calendar.

"Huh... I thought you was singing with us?"

"Sorry, something change. Instead ive been called in to judge the contest." The sound of something being deleted from her phone.

"Why are you judging the contest?" Kohaku asked.

"Yeah I heard big time managers working for the company's there sponsoring. Why ask you...?... OH MY GOD! (Julie yell surprised Hanako and Kohaku. More on him since he spilled his drink.)"

"WHAT THE HELL!" Kohaku wiping the drink off his shirt with napkins on the table.

"I don't know why I haven't notice!? Your Hanako Higarashi! Your the kid manager at Cosmic Entertainment." Julie stated pointing her finger at Hanako.

"Cosmic Entertainment?" Kohaku questioned.

"Cosmic Entertainment, aka C.E Industry. Is a company that only dealt with television entertainment. But than the youngest daughter of the CEO, Hanako. She made a suggestion about expanding their verity. Meaning she was the start of the company signing record deals. Hanako made the first deal with the boy band 'Hit Wonder'. She was only Fourteen years old when she became a manager. The company doesn't have much history. So after five years of television they canceled all ties and became an official record company. Signing big names in the music industry in the last two years they been out." Julie's eyes sparkled.

"How come I never heard of them?" Kohaku asked curious.

"Bankrupt. They owe a lot of money. When they first came out, getting loans from the bank than not making money on the tv entertainment. Wasn't able to make due... So they had to sell the company. Now it became a mall."

"You sure know a lot about my dad company Julie." Hanako said impressed.

"I'm always interested in music. The more I like the artist I look up the company and its history. It's a shame what happened to Cosmic Entertainment. I heard before they was going to close down. You was interested in Red, instead he went with another company. His manager heard about the bankrupt and that's what caused the change?"

"Its true... Even if we did get him we wont be able to make him a big star. His talent would have been wasted." Hanako sounding depressed.

"Who are you working for now Hanako? I now know you are a manager."

"Huh... Oh... I... I work for many companies. Right now im representing Cube Entertainment at the contest."

Ending the conversation there. Starting homework. About time they was done, the café finally closed for the night. Runo and Alice went upstairs to relax from hard days work. Offering dinner to their friends was decline when they all left to go home. In lest than two weeks everything will change for them.

January 13th Thursday 4:45pm

At a nearby park three blocks away from Valley Crest Academy. Sharleen and Kohaku relaxed on the swings talking. Enjoying their time together alone. The sounds of the chain yanking from the swing echo's around the empty park. Not one of them said a single word. No one wants to mess up the peace they have with each other. Not able to contain his emotions he blurt out what was on his mind. "Will you be my girlfriend again?" He stop swinging.

Shock she stop her swing to look at him. Is he serious? Sharleen thought with a blush on his face. She wanted to answer him but her words wouldn't come out. For the first time she was speechless... The only one that is able to make her this way. In words she can't explain how happy she was. "I understand if you can't forgive me for diseving you. But I will make up for it... The rest of my life Sharleen. Give me the chance to at least try." His eyes pleaded.

"That's not it... Kohaku... Yes I am still upset about it. I get that you want to protect me. It's in the past, I... I don't care about that anymore Kohaku. All I want is the chance to prove to you that I really don't care. I wish I can express myself... Kind of hard to believe since im thirteen right (short giggle). Kohaku, I really love you. I... (deep breath) I would love to be your girlfriend." She smiled brightly. Grabbing her hand, he used the other hand to pull her swing closer to him. The hand he had holding her soon caressed her cheek. Planting a kiss on her soft lips.

That following night; Miyu created an offer both of them can't refuse. The chance for both of them to become human until they become adults in human standards. With the power of her amulet; using a spell her mother once use on her, states she has been working on the same spell with a twist to it. Sharleen thought about it and how she wont be as strong being human. Thinks of her friends and growing up normal. With that thought decides to become human; Kohaku at her side both change.

January 14th Friday 3:50pm

On stage Fabia stood alone playing a song that they might play at the contest. The lyrics are beautifully written by Alice. Asked for Fabia to edit if their needs to be.

Clapping sounds came from behind her. Hate being sneak up on she put her guard up ready to attack. Until she remember that she was at school and she doesn't have to be so guarded. Turning around, Tony stood behind the curtain clapping with a smirk on his face. "Tony I didn't know you was here too!?" She was shock didn't mean to yell out.

"I heard music playing... I didn't know you was singing. You music really like singing." Tony analyzed.

"Not really. I like it for fun you know... I was just practicing the song we was going to do for the contest. Was the song okay?"

"Duh! Who doesn't like six hot girls being a sensual and classy singing a sexy song" that made Fabia laugh.

"The song isn't even like that. I think it's not anyway."

"It's all how you use it. Your a girl... Use your womanly charms" Tony suggested.

"Heh okay Mr. know it all. What other song you think we should sing?"

"What are the songs you have down so far?" Taking a seat on the edge of the stage.

"Lets see (starts looking at the song list) Three Destiny Child songs, and a Mary J Blige song."

"Cool, I can't wait to see the show. I know you girls are going to rock out. Don't forget me when you become rich and famous." Tony grinned.

"How silly, who can forget an idiot like you." Fabia started to laugh.

January 17th Monday 5:35pm

Working day in and day out for the contest. The girls are confident that they will put on a show. Waiting backstage for there turn. Peeking at the front stage, the girls watch as the host speak. "Welcome to Unmei Theater, where the contest is being broadcast. I am your host Richard Toki. Welcome to Star Riser!" Everyone applaud.

"This contest is a chance for rookie singers having a chance at stardom. There will be ten rounds on each day starting now. Elimination will begin tomorrow. Each round will have a different setting. It's up to the judges to decide who will be moving on to the next round. Speaking of judges lets introduce our three panels. Our first judge is a former singer back in the day. She sold over twenty albums and head runner up for MK music awards. Please show round of applause for May Gencho! (Everyone starts clapping.) Next judge was once an A list boxer until old age got the best of him. Give it up for the champ Ryuu 'Hard Hitter' Jones! (Claps) And last but not least, she is one of the youngest managers ever in history. She is the daughter of Cosmic Entertainment, Kyle Higarashi. Now working as a manager listed to many music companys. Show some love for Hanako Higarashi!" Richard continues his speech.

"If you win... The grand prize, you get one of the top managers in the industry. Not just any manager... One of our judges will be managing you for a big music company. Of course if you don't have a manager this applies to you. Also get a record deal and ten thousand dollars! Before we start the show, we want to show what it takes to be a hit sensation. Our guest star is a new comer to the industry. Please welcome to the stage RED!" Richard roar. The female crowed went wild. In her seat Hanako was excited on the inside, outside you can see a tint of blush adverting her eyes from the stage.

Coming on stage in casual dressed clothes. Red wearing a black button up shirt with navy blue jeans, white Nike sneakers, a gold short chain. Black shades covering up his red eyes. No one can tell that his eyes are on a certain girl. Taking the mic, sitting on the stool. As the cheers call out his name he speaks to the fans. "Thank you for having me here. I won't be singing any of my songs today. (The crowd stops cheering whispering concerns to each other.) Something different will happen tonight. I would like to sing one of my favorite songs I used to sing when I was a kid. I would like one of you to sing it with me." The up roar of the fans burst with shouting out pleads.

Hanako so wishes she could be the one to sing with him. "Starting by calling out the number of my fan members." Everyone fingers where crossed hoping its them.

"Will fan number one come to the stage." Hanako heart skip a beat. Wha-What... Did he just... No it can't be! Hanako places a hand to her chest. Whispers wondering who is fan number one. "Please come up on stage... Don't make me sing by myself" Red smirks. Getting up from her seat everyone stares as Hanako walks on stage. One of the crew members brings an extra stool for Hanako.

Smirking at Hanako, adverting her eyes from him hiding the blush on her cheeks. Hanako so wishes she could find a rock and hide. The other half is thrilled to be with him. "This song is one of my favorites I hope you like it." Hanako knew what his favorite song was, she just hope she can keep up. As the music played she was in complete shock. This isn't his favorite song! Hanako thought. She paid it no mind and just followed along.

For the big finish Red comes in for a small peak on the lips. Surprising everyone in their seats.

The fans screaming can bring someone to deaf. Smirking at the crowd Red bids his farewell and announce the show will be starting. Leaving poor Hanako frozen on stage going through a frantic. The crew members taking her off stage back to the judges stand. Hanako felt the stares of all Red's fans. The stares didn't break her from being frantic.

He kissed me... He kissed me... He kissed me... Was all that was in her mind. Curses Ashton in her mind. Knew each other for years since they was kids. Couldn't help but smile at the memory when she told him her favorite song. "One day I would like to share a kiss with a boy dancing to this song. At the end we would share our first kiss, like a fairy tail moment."

"Well it seems Hanako left the building" Mira stated looking at Hanako body language.

"I would too if Red kissed me on stage" Julie said dreamily.

"The contest is in two day I hope your ready. I bet she knew Red was going to be hete... No wonder she was so cheery the past two days" Runo said applying lip gloss.

"Of course she did. She is his number one fan." Alice said.

"With that interesting opening; for the primary round. Coming to the stage... Please show some love for Miss B!" The host announced.

"Miss B?" The girls questioned looking at Julie.

"It stands for 'Brawlers' since we are girls. The best of the female brawlers. I thought of the name Miss Brawlers, Miss B for short." Julie logically answered. Julie rushed on stage grabbing the host. Making the host take a seat on the stool before the crew member take it off stage. Not bother by it anymore followed right after her. As there song begins to play. Whispering to the host to play along with what they're doing.

The crowd cheers their name. In the crowd never feeling so proud was there friends and boyfriends. The cheering stop when it was time for the judges to talk.

"I have to say you girls came out and did a show. I was a little taken back when (looks at the name list) Ms. Makimoto grab the host. I didn't know what to expect, for the first time im speechless. Congrats girls." May praised the girls.

"The only reason im here is because my youngest son Kai couldn't be here. Idiot caught a cold. I should be at home resting, not at some contest. I will say I'm glad to be wrong. I enjoyed myself including looking at six pretty young women. I look forward to here more from you ladies." Ryuu smirked at the girls.

"I agree with May, when I saw you pulled the host Julie I didn't know what to think. Keep up the good work girls I am very impressed" Hanako smiled.

Three fantastic phrases from the judges left the group at a good start of the show. The girls where very happy to hear good things come out. Leaving the stage, hearing the crowd call their name. They knew this was they're calling. That this is what they want, why not have fun with this. Serious about it, deciding they are going to win. Miss B has been awaken.

"I wonder what its like in the other world?" My girlfriend Sophie asked. Even though my sister doesn't favor her much by the way she dress. You cant judge a person by what they wear. Sophie does wear revealing clothes. She seems like a slut, that doesn't mean she is. Sophie is very intelligent. During school years was a smart girl; too smart for her own age. Due to her not being notice she was very lonely. It wasn't until high school she started wearing revealing clothes.

She got noticed by a lot of guys so all the girls basically hate her. I wonder if that's the reason Mira hates her?

"Keith are you listening to me" Sophie pouted.

"Just lost at thought. I heard every word. Truth be told it's no different from Earth... Maybe that's why it's called Neo Earth. Only difference is there are demons lurking about." I told her.

"I see... Another question. Do you miss being with Amanda?"

It's the fifth day of the contest. In the primary round five contestants got eliminated and thus starting the first round of the competition the next day. Tuesday one group got eliminated. Then the other following days. The contest had over twenty contestants. Now its down to seventeen. It's still a lot of competitors. The girls wonder how will they last this long and when will it be their time or another contestant. Too many beating hearts. Who will win next Friday?

Coming off the stage receiving yet another judge approval. Standing in their way is none other than fellow classmate and slut of the school; Alison.

"Come on do you have to act like a bitch today?" Runo asked irritated by just seeing her face.

"Just a heads up im winning this contest." She smirked.

"You and everyone else that says that. Don't jinx it you might get eliminated" Sharleen smirked.

With the same sly smirk Alison respond; "Your confidence level is higher than mines. You think your going to win this? Please (rolled her eyes), if you bitches win than those judges have no class for seeing talent" she snap her fingers.

"I guess not since your still here" Julie mocked her with the same expressions.

"You wish. Unlike you... (The host calls her name) Well I have to go girls. Watch and see how its done. Real talent does their own music." She leaves the girls going on stage.

"She is soo stuck up" Julie sucked her teeth. As the girls walk to where the other contestants are.

"If she win's it will be hell for the music industry" Sharleen laughed.

"Than let's win this so we can spare them the hassle." Fabia said writing in her notebook.

"What are you writing?" Runo asked.

"I've been working on a song for the final round. Whether we like it or not, Alison is our competition. She has talent if she stop acting like a bitch." Fabia stated twirling her pencil around.

"Can I see the new song?" Alice holding out her hand. Handing her notebook to her Alice observes the lyrics.

Everyone stop and stared at Alice. Fabia was even more shock, "You changed my lyrics?"

The girls found themselves in conversation talking about what there next performance will be. Going back on stage for elimination. Miss B is safe again to continue in the next round. Tomorrow will be interesting. Two contestants will be eliminated, evening out the contest. Celebrating over at Runo and Alice house. No one knows that this will be the last piece of happiness before everything falls.

January 21 At Valley Crest Academy Friday 7:02pm

Inside the principals office. Lauren Williams picks up an old photo of her family from her father's desk. She can still remember the conversation she had with the school board chairman. 'We would like you too be the new principle... We think its best. Since you are the only one who knows this school and the students better than anyone.'

"They say that... But I don't know if I can handle it." She takes a look at the old photo of her 'happy family'. I am nothing like him! Lauren slams the photo on the ground. Breaking the glass. She takes a seat on her father chair looking out his big picture window. The chair wasn't comfortable at all, she wonder how her father can sit in the damn thing.

"So tell me how long you going to stay in the shadows?" She called out. Coming from behind the door, wearing a black cloak looking mysterious. "Its nice of you to pay me a visit... Little brother." reflection of the moonlight showed James face.

"Nice to see you are well big sis. How is our little brother." Making a decent conversation.

"Like you stubborn. Never tells me what's on his mind. Your different on that department. You James are an open book." Turning the chair around to face him.

"I agree, but your stubborn too Lauren." James laughed.

"What are you doing here?" Asked getting to the point.

Stopping his laughter, picks up the broken picture frame he looks at his sister with serious eyes. "You must really hate us don't you?"

"That picture is a lie. We were never happy. It was just a front having that in his office. Seeing it made me sick." Her eyes showed anger.

"Heh, poor you. You think I didn't have it rough. Dad said that he would-"

"CUT THE CRAP! You willing gave yourself to him... Your stronger than that... So why!? WHY HELP BREAK OUR FAMILY APART!" Lauren screamed.

"Our family is already broken. In case you forgot. Dad cheated on mom. Remember all the arguing we went through" James said placing the picture on the desk.

"What family are you talking about!? Mom and dad never argue about it. Mom brushed it off like it was nothing!" Lauren stood up from her chair. "That's why I don't understand... Why... Why you helped killed her?"

"Sis... Money and power is everything in this world. Its meaningless if you don't have it. That's why im striving to reach the top. Even if I have to use people to get it."

"What are you saying...?" Getting a bad feeling.

"In order to get ahead in life... To get what I want. I will do anything to achieve it. Helping dad kill mom or sell my soul to the devil." Hearing him said that sent shivers down her spine.

"Is-is this about Daisy?" She asked with a shaky voice.

"Yes... and no. She will be mine soon; this doesn't concern her. I help dad because I didn't have a choice he... lets just say i'm doing this for Daisy."

"She doesn't want you! You must understand by now she will never love you!" Lauren barked at her brother.

"Once you have money and power. You can do whatever you want. Daisy is proof of that. She will love me. Once she see's I can provide her anything her heart desires. She will be mine and mine alone."

"Don't be a fool! Your like a little brother to her! Don't do this James... It isn't worth it." Pleading some sense to him.

"It's worth everything to me. I would do it again over and over. I know what im doing is right."

"You really are a stubborn fool... What are you going to do now brother. I'm sure you didn't come all this way just to tell me this crap."

"I'm sorry... This is the end." Pulling out a dagger.

"This is how it ends... I tell you. There is no reasoning with the men in this family." Lauren smirked, taking a seat.

"You seem calm about this... Why?"

"What does it matter? Because I wont die tonight. I will still live on."

"You believe in resurrection?"

"I do..."

"You say im full of crap" James had to laugh at that; Only a little bit.

"Just do it. It doesn't matter what I believe in." Holding up a clear crystal ball. "Who knew dad had something so pretty." Seeing her reflection smile at her.

"... I truly am sorry. I wished there was a better way."

"There was another path James. You just keep using the wrong one." Placing the ball down. Her brother now a few inches away from her. Holding the dagger close to her heart.

"I'm sorry." Tears running down his face.

As the blood drips from the dagger his mind clouded. His face doesn't match the emotions from his eyes. Her last words left a big impact on him. Something he will always remember of his beloved sister.

"I know you didn't kill mom. You had no part of it. It was all dad. He framed you along with Alison. It still doesn't change that you raped Mira and two other girls. So don't cry. Don't feel guilty of what you're doing. I may not support what you're doing. You are still my sweet dear little brother. Never forget that I will always love you."

It just came to me while writing this chapter. I like how it sounds. I'm thinking about name it... I don't know... Maybe... Okay I don't know! I will name the song on the next fun fact. In Japanese Unmei means destiny.

The name Miss B... I got it from listening to music while thinking of a group name for them. I saw a kpop group called Miss A. I thought of Brawlers as a name, doesn't sound like a girl group. Miss A gave me the idea of Miss B.

While looking at my favorite/followed stories. I was following I saw AsianBunny story MISS B. (Which by the way I recommend... Im excited about the next chapter.) I didn't want the wrong idea about me stealing her title. I asked permission to use the name Miss B for my story. Bunny agreed to it. I don't want no reviews about me stealing... I didn't!
