I was reading my favourite classical romance book.
Pride and Prejudice
I have read it so many times and how I love Mr Darcy.
Sesshomaru was busily writing something.
He was occupied.
I started to smile when Mr Darcy confesses his feelings.
Sesshomaru must have stopped writing because he sat next to me.
"You are reading that book again"
I laughed.
But I did not answer him.
Sesshomaru however did not like to be ignored.
He took the book away from me.
"You kept me up last night, talking about this Mr Darcy"
Oh dear.
Yesterday I was excited to show the book to Sesshomaru, I practically made him read it.
He only lasted one page.
I think being pregnant makes you slightly crazy.
Sesshomaru eventually gave the book back.
But he demands me not to read it as he wants to spend time with me.
I have been busy preparing my graduations preparation.
I leave next week.
I haven't told my friends that I am expecting.
Something tells me my friends would look at me in disgust.
Anyway I was mostly in my Era after Inuyahsa and the gang visited me.
Sesshomaru likes to rub my belly.
He does it like all the time.
But I never complain.
I mean who would ever think Sesshomaru would become a father.
I smiled to myself.
"What is it that you are smiling about?
I cheekily kissed him on the cheek.
"I was just thinking we are starting a family"
Sesshomaru smiled back at me.
"I know, our little one will soon be born"
He gently pats my belly.
I started to snuggle near Sesshomaru chest.
He chuckled lightly.
"It would seem we both need a little rest"
I nodded smiling.
Time skip
Sesshomaru was carrying on with his work.
His mate was fast to asleep.
He knew that a pregnant woman gets easily tired.
While studying his mate slumber he saw that retched book near her.
He picked it up and went through the pages quickly.
Sesshomaru finished the book in 5 minutes.
He did not enjoy it at all.
What a waste of time he thought.
But he was startled to hear Kagome chuckling.
"Who would ever thought you would read a romance book"
Sesshomaru knew this won't be the last time he won't be hearing about this.
Kagome Pov
I was literally laughing at Sesshomaru.
He getting all flustered and he is even blushing.
"Do you like romance books then" I asked
He shook his head.
"Of course not"
I was about to argue when he spoke again.
"My life is like a novel Kagome; I wish it would never end"
I felt my eyes watering.
"It will never end and you know that"
