"Good morning Zancrow," Moka said walking up to Zancrow who was gulping down his third water bottle with the two empty bottles in his other hand.
"Hey Moka," Zancrow replied after he finished the third bottle.
"That's a lot of water Zancrow." Moka said as they walked to school.
"Yeah I've been really thirsty recently, although on the upside I don't really have to worry about Kasai anymore do to this lock." Zancrow said lifting up his wrist he had told Moka about everything not too long ago, she was worried at first but he quickly reassured her.
"Speaking of thirsty…I see that the marks on your neck are finally gone." Moka said trying to keep her mind off Zancrow's blood.
"You really do have a one track mind you know that." Zancrow laughed tossing his water bottles into a trash can as they walked into the shoe locker room.
"Sorry…" Moka said blushing slightly.
"You don't have to worry about it Moka if you want to drink my blood all you have to do is ask." Zancrow said but before Moka could reply she tripped and scraped her knee.
"Hey are you okay Moka?" Zancrow asked kneeling next to her as she sat on the wooden floor.
"Yeah it's just a small scrape." Moka said as Zancrow leaned in to get a better look but as he did he smelled something delicious, he started to lose himself and lean into Moka placing a hand on her inner thigh.
"Moka…" Zancrow whispered his face leaning closer to her legs making Moka blush.
"Kyaa what are you doing?!" Moka yelled kicking Zancrow in the chest and running down the hall.
"Eh? Shit, Moka wait up!" Zancrow yelled running down the hall after her.
"That's the boy you want me to take care of?" A man with a cigarette in his mouth said watching Zancrow run down the hall from the forest.
"Yes he is your target." The exorcist that placed the lock on Zancrow said grinning.
"Well the one next to him is more my taste but I guess I can settle for eating him." The man said puffing his cigarette.
"I haven't eaten in so long that I can't go off and get picky."

"Zancrow I know you're feeling energetic but we can't do stuff like that in public." Moka muttered sitting in a desk in the clubroom with everyone except Gin.
"I told you Moka, it was a misunderstanding." Zancrow said
"What's going on?" Kurumu asked confused by the current conversation.
"Haven't you heard? The rumors say Zancrow gave into his primitive desires and pushed Moka down placing his lustful hand on her thigh." Yukari said a bit of blood running down her nose making Kurumu and Mizore jump in shock.
"Oh come on this is all a misunderstanding," Zancrow said
"But you touched me so lewdly." Moka whispered
"If I was gonna give into my primitive desires why would I settle for your thigh I would just go the extra mile and squeeze your ass." Zancrow said nonchalantly walking up to Moka whose face was red as a tomato and squeezed her rear.
"You always have this tiny skirt on that I get to see your panties all the time so-" *slap*
"Pervert!" Moka yelled storming out of the room much to Zancrow's confusion.
"Wait what did I do? All I said was that I love your ass!" Zancrow yelled as she stormed out.
"Zancrow don't you love breast's too!" Kurumu whined tackling the blonde boy and placing one of his hands on her breast while lying on his chest.
"You can squeeze my butt too Zancrow." Mizore said lying down next to Kurumu and placing Zancrow's hand on her rear.
"I wanna be touched too!" Yukari yelled jumping onto them.

"Geez why is Moka so emotional." Zancrow muttered getting a water from the vending machine and gulping it down quickly.
"She's avoiding me again." Zancrow muttered
'It's really your own fault after you basically molested her.' Kagu-Tsuchi said appearing next to the distraught God slayer.
"What are you talking about all I did was compliment her I should be rewarded if anything." Zancrow replied taking another gulp of his water completely missing the point.
'You seem to be drinking a lot of water recently, what is it all about?' Kagu-Tsuchi asked
"I have no idea, my throat has been so dry recently and no matter how much water I drink I can't quench my thirst." Zancrow replied but then he noticed Moka leaning against a pillar not far from him.
"Hey Moka!" Zancrow yelled jogging up to the pinkette. Before he reached her she began to wobble until she nearly fell over until he caught her.
"Moka are you okay? You almost fainted." Zancrow said holding her close with the pillar pressed against her back.
"I'm fine Zancrow…I'm fine…" Moka said pushing Zancrow back but then he began to feel distant as he noticed how pale and soft Moka's skin looked.
"Moka your skin looks pale I can almost see your veins." Zancrow whispered pressing her against the pillar and leaning closer to her.
"Zancrow stop," Moka said trying to push him but he grabbed her wrists and held them against the pillar as his lips came closer to her neck.
"Don't struggle Moka."
"Zancrow stop, you're hurting me." Moka said snapping Zancrow back from his trance.
"Moka…I'm so sorry I didn't mean to-" Zancrow said but Moka fainted as he spoke.

"Is Moka going to be okay?" Yukari asked the nurse while she took Moka's temperature.
"Don't worry she's just anemic, she'll be fine." The nurse said to the group as they sat around Moka.
"After she gets some rest she'll be up and raring to go." The nurse said smiling making everyone more at ease.
"That's such a relief." Kurumu said
"I have to get going I would really appreciate if you guys could lock up when your friend wakes up." The nurse said as she walked out of the room.
"This is my fault." Zancrow muttered
"Zancrow this isn't your fault." Mizore said but he just slammed his fist against the wall cracking it.
"I'm going outside." Zancrow said walking out of the room.
Zancrow walked until he found a vending machine he sat next to it and got water quickly gulping it down.
"This is pointless!" Zancrow yelled throwing his water bottle into one of the large pillars ahead of him.
"I don't know what's going on. This stupid lock is here to make sure I don't hurt them anymore and yet that's all I seem to do!" Zancrow yelled glaring at the lock around his wrist.
'God slayer the only logical conclusion I can make is that Kasai is fighting relentlessly against the lock and he is somehow getting through even if it is only in a small way.' Kagu-Tsuchi said
"Yeah he is still here I can feel it. He's been invading my dreams ever since he was locked away, he says he found a flaw in the lock and he was going to make sure my life was a living hell until I release him." Zancrow muttered
'Do you think he is telling the truth?'
"I didn't at first but now I think he was."
"I knew we had something in common Zancrow." A man with a cigarette in his mouth said grinning at Zancrow.
"Who are you?" Zancrow said getting up from the ground.
"Me? Oh I'm no one just a hungry soul that thirsts for the pleasure of cold heartless murder, just like you in fact." The man said walking toward him.
"What are you talking about?" Zancrow said glaring at him.
"I can see it, the way you lose yourself with that girl. I know that look so well it's the same one I get when I haven't been allowed to slaughter anyone."
"My name is Hyakushiki and just like you Zancrow I am a murderer." Hyakushiki said as his body began to change until his lower body changed into a centipede.
"I love the sound of flesh tearing; it sounds so lovely doesn't it Zancrow." Hyakushiki said trying to cut Zancrow with one of his many claws but he dodged it.
"I am nothing like you!" Zancrow yelled jumping up and punching Hyakushiki in the chest.
"Who are you trying to convince Zancrow? Me or you?" Hyakushiki said after he recovered from the attack.
"Shut up!" Zancrow yelled forming a scythe from his fire and slashing at Hyakushiki repeatedly but the large centipede monster was faster than he appeared.
"It's obvious that you are longing to kill that girl, you are no stranger to killing innocent people just like me." Hyakushiki said trying to cut Zancrow but he dodged all his attempts but the angrier he got the sloppier his movements became.
'Calm down God slayer he is playing with your emotions, you need to stop attacking blindly.' Kagu-Tsuchi said as Zancrow glared at Hyakushiki menacingly.
"You are the same as me Zancrow. We have the same blood thirsty look that comes with being a murderer." Hyakushiki said looming over Zancrow who only glared at him even harder.
"Zancrow," Moka said as she ran up to him.
"Moka, why are you here?" Zancrow asked but before she could answer Hyakushiki grabbed her and held her tight with his centipede like legs.
"You came just in time; we were just talking about you. Isn't that right Zancrow?" Hyakushiki said running his clawed hands through her hair.
"Put her down!" Zancrow yelled getting ready to charge but before he could move Hyakushiki pressed a claw to Moka's neck.
"It'd be best to stay still Zancrow wouldn't want this girl to lose her head now would we." Hyakushiki said grinning
"You bastard if you hurt her I will make you see hell!" Zancrow yelled but he still couldn't move there was no way he could move fast enough to reach him before he could kill Moka.
"I think I'll kill her for you Zancrow after all you don't seem to keen on admitting to your blood lust." Hyakushiki said running his claws along Moka's blazer cutting it to pieces and leaving her shirtless with only a bra to cover her body.
"What nice skin you have I am going to enjoy eating you." Hyakushiki said as tears formed in Moka's eyes.
"Zancrow its okay, I know you are a good person and no matter what you may do I will always believe that." Moka said trying to stay strong but she was clearly shaking as Hyakushiki placed his hand on her stomach.
"Cute last words Miss Akashiya but this the end for you." Hyakushiki said but as he finished he saw Zancrow vanish and reappear in front of him.
"Get your filthy hands off of her!" Zancrow yelled jumping up and punching him square in the face in the blink of an eye. Zancrow pulled Moka free of his grip and carried her bridal style away from Hyakushiki.
"Stay here Moka I'll be back." Zancrow said putting Moka down. She looked up at him and saw that one of his eyes was a golden yellow while the other was still red. He looked determined but there was still a small bit of blood lust in his eyes almost as if Kasai had returned.
"You little punk, how dare you attack me." Hyakushiki said but he couldn't say anything else because Zancrow disappeared only to reappear right next to him allowing him delivering a round house kick to his jaw.
"I am done listening to you! You are right about one thing I am not afraid to kill but I will never let anyone hurt Moka!" Zancrow yelled stabbing Hyakushiki through the chest and ripping out his heart. The blood dripped down his hand but the fire that coursed around him turned every last drop of blood on him and Hyakushiki's heart to nothing.
"Zancrow…" Moka said jogging up to him as she did she noticed the red energy that was mixed with his fire it was faint but she could never forget the aura that Kasai exerted.
"Zancrow are you okay? Why is your left eye yellow?" Moka asked
"Moka I don't…" Zancrow said but he began to wobble until he collapsed into her arms.
'The lock is starting to break.' Kagu-Tsuchi said to himself as he noticed the cracked bead on the lock.
'It seems the flaw Kasai plan's to exploit isn't the lock itself but Zancrow's emotions.' Kagu-Tsuchi said as Moka placed Zancrow on the ground.

"Wake up you little prick!" Kasai yelled kicking Zancrow awake. Zancrow started to stir until he finally woke up the first thing he saw was Kasai and he immediately jumped to his feet.
"Calm down dumbass I'm not going to fight you…at least not yet." Kasai said turning his back to Zancrow much to his confusion.
"What the hell are you talking about?" Zancrow asked
"The lock is still too strong for either of us to be able to kill one another. We could start fighting but it would be pointless seeing as neither of us would die we would just fade away for minute then pop right back up." Kasai said and in a flash he stabbed Zancrow with a blade composed of energy. Zancrow spat up blood and glared at him until he noticed something it didn't hurt at all and as soon as he removed the blade the cut was gone.
"Why did you bring me here if there is no point?" Zancrow asked glaring at the golden eyed boy.
"Why? Well for one seeing your shocked face after getting stabbed was nice." Kasai said with a laugh staring down at his hand that held the small energy knife "but the real reason I brought you here is to say this, the seal you have on me is weakening and I am going to break free it's just a matter of time."
"Like hell you are! Enjin no Ogama!" (Fire God's Scythe) Zancrow yelled jumping up and trying to cut Kasai in half.
"This is pointless. Vu~anpaia no chi no Naginata," (Vampire's Bloody Halberd) Kasai said blocking Zancrow's attack with a red halberd. The attacks canceled themselves out sending both of them flying back.
"See that was pointless, as we are now our power is equal." Kasai said dusting himself off.
"Why are you so hell bent on ruining my life?" Zancrow asked glaring at him.
"I have my reasons for what I do, but I will say this I will never let those monsters replace Meredy we should be in earth-land not here." Kasai answered
"Meredy? But you hurt her too!" Zancrow yelled but then Kasai sent him flying with one punch, his fist had been encased in his vampire aura making the attack feel like getting hit by a train.
"Don't fucking remind me you bastard!" Kasai yelled his body gave off more energy than Zancrow had ever seen him emit.
"Looks like my time is up see you soon Zancrow." Kasai said as Zancrow began to lose consciousness.

Zancrow awoke with a gasp he looked around and saw Moka looking down at him with a concerned look on her face.
"Zancrow are you okay?" Moka asked running her hand through his hair.
"Moka…I'm fine no need to worry." Zancrow said sitting up he noticed Moka was still shirtless so he took off his jacket and handed it to her. Moka accepted it with a blush and covered herself in his jacket.
"Do you have any idea what happened to you?" Moka asked
"I have no idea, the only thing I can piece together is that when I saw you being hurt that I couldn't control it and I felt an unbelievable rush of energy." Zancrow answered
'The lock is far from perfect God slayer but I believe the weakness Kasai plans to exploit is your emotions.' Kagu-Tsuchi said appearing next to Zancrow.
"I figured as much." Zancrow replied looking down at his hands much to Moka's confusion.
"What did you figure Zancrow?" Moka asked but Zancrow shook his head and smiled at her.
"Nothing let's head back Moka, I'm sure everyone's worried about us by now." Zancrow said
"Ok," Moka said as they stood up.
"Hey Moka…" Zancrow said although he seemed uneasy.
"Yeah Zancrow,"
"I'm sorry for being a pervert; I'll stop if you want me to." Zancrow said taking Moka's hands in his own.
"Just please stop avoiding me."
"What,"
"I wanted to apologize, even if I still don't understand why I hurt you I know that I did something wrong and I'm willing to admit at least that." Zancrow said
"No Zancrow you're mistaken. I'm not avoiding you because of that; I love that part of you." Moka said much to Zancrow's shock.
"I've been avoiding you because it's so hard to not drink your blood." Moka said making Zancrow smile as he pulled Moka into a tight hug pushing her lips into his neck.
"You don't have to stop Moka, I know that you love it and that's why it's fine." Zancrow whispered into her ear Moka smiled before sinking her teeth into his neck.
"Thank you Zancrow," Moka whispered but Zancrow didn't reply he just moved his hands to her hips and squeezed her rear.
"Kya,"
"Now that I know you love it I'll be sure to do it more often." Zancrow said making Moka blush and lightly hit him on the arm as she pulled back and looked into his eyes.
Zancrow gave her a toothy grin as she smiled at him before she pulled him closer and gave him a peck on the cheek.

*The next day*
"What's got you so happy this morning Moka?" Kurumu asked as she sat down at the group's usual lunch table.
"What do you mean?" Moka asked
"You seem even peppier than usual." Mizore said "I don't like it."
"I agree…with the first part that is, even your skin looks smoother." Yukari said smiling but then she glanced over to Zancrow who was slumped in his chair.
"On the other hand Zancrow seems to be drained and he looks pale." Yukari said
"Eh, Zancrow are you feeling alright? Your blood has started to taste a bit different." Moka said
"Wait blood?" Kurumu said with a tick mark on her head.
"Huh oh um that is…" Moka mumbled
"You've been drinking my Zancrow's blood again haven't you?!" Kurumu yelled tackling Moka and starting a comical cat fight with her.
"It's okay Zancrow I'm here for you." Mizore said sitting on his lap and resting her head on his chest.
"Hey get off of him!" Yukari yelled tackling Mizore down and unintentionally sending both of them into Moka and Kurumu's cat fight.
"I'm gonna go to the bathroom." Zancrow said getting up but no one heard him so he just shrugged and walked off.

"Hey have you guys seen this!" Gin yelled slamming a newspaper on the table they were sitting at.
"Gin? You haven't shown up in a while." Kurumu said
"You're still alive? Be gone!" Yukari yelled throwing salt at him.
"Don't try to exorcize me!" Gin yelled
"What is this Gin? I don't remember printing this paper." Kurumu said looking at the newspaper on the table.
"That's right this paper was printed yesterday the school has been littered with these since then, skip to the back cover." Gin said as Kurumu flipped to the back and gasped at what she read.
"The school festival will be in a rain of blood. We strongly object to the school festival on the 29th of October and we pledge to bring blood flow to anyone who attends the festival." Kurumu read aloud.
"What is this? Who would print such a terrible thing?" Mizore asked
"It's obvious that this is the outcast group called Anti-Thesis. They most likely need a scapegoat to keep the schools attention while they make their move." Gin replied but then he noticed the lack of a certain blonde haired God slayer.
"Wait, where is Zancrow?" Gin asked looking around for him.
"He went to the washroom a little while ago." Yukari answered
"Oi let me go! I know my rights!" Zancrow yelled as he was dragged to the school's main building.
"Zancrow…" Moka said
"Why are they only taking Zancrow?" Gin muttered as the group watched Zancrow being dragged away.

"Where the hell are you taking me?!" Zancrow yelled struggling against the guards grip.
"Stop struggling you've been summoned by the headmaster of the academy." One of the guards said holding a sword to Zancrow's neck.
'The headmaster?' Kagu-Tsuchi muttered
"What the hell does he want?" Zancrow asked but rather than answer they opened the headmaster's door and pushed Zancrow inside. The first thing he saw when he got off the ground was the exorcist that placed the lock on him.
"Oi what the hell are you doing here?!" Zancrow yelled
'I should have seen this coming.' Kagu-Tsuchi said face palming.
"What are you talking about?" Zancrow said looking up at the fire God but then the exorcist spoke up.
"Hello Zancrow I'm the headmaster." He said grinning at Zancrow who could only reply with…
"Fuck."
