Excited for KH3? This is my version of a KH3 Story based on all the details we know so far. The worlds are in danger by the darkness again. Sora and friends must do all they can to keep the Light safe. But can they put a stop to the cunning Master Xehanort and his Organization, or will the creation of the X-blade trigger the Keyblade Wars yet again? Read on to find out. KH3 in 2019

21. Chapter 21

Hi, guys! Welcome back.

Sorry for the small delay, I took a little break from the story for Thanksgiving and a few recent events.

I've also been spending a few hours every day playing KH II.5 and making some notes about it.

I am in love with this HD remaster! I really enjoyed Re:coded. Its scenes were shown beautifully. And the few battle scenes in it were sweet! Especially the ones with Sora and Riku battling and Sora and Roxas battling. I just wish they'd been longer...

I can definitely see the new HD work in KH II FM. I think it's still my favorite game in the series. The additional FM cutscenes with the organization are fascinating to watch, too. The cast that came back to English dub the Japanese version did a great job, too. It's been a while since Vexen has shown since CoM so I was looking forward to seeing him. He sounded terrific, too.

KH BBS looks really good! But I still have haven't completed all their stories yet, and I'm still working on KH II. Enjoying every second of it though.

After getting all the new information hidden in Re:coded, I found that so far I've been going in the right direction with how the main story is laid out, such as how the enemies are operating.

My theories are actually looking pretty close to what we've seen in the series so far.

What little details were revealed in the secret clips (which I will not speak about on here for spoiling reasons,) just gave me a clearer image to focus on to understand where I've been going with the enemy plots so far.

After what occurred in 3D I could see what the enemies would be going after in III. Now I just have more to work with!

Everything is right on schedule...

Now, enough about that... Let's get to the story!

While in Radiant Garden, Lea had an unexpected reunion with Isa/Saïx.

Sora and Riku found themselves in the game Sugar Rush in search of the missing two the Nicelanders spoke of.

After fighting Ralph by accident, King Candy ordered their arrest.

Now they are running away from the pursuing royal police squad.

With the new KH OST out now, feel free to use the newly orchestra recorded versions.

Since this chapter turned out to be longer I have divided it into two parts just in case a break is needed, so you won't have to lose your place.

Chapter 21

Sharing An Adventure In Sugar Rush

~Villains of a Sort plays (KH II OST)~

While King Candy watched the two boys and Ralph as they made their escape an angry look fell over his face. "No! They're getting away! You two, go after them! We can't let them get away! I have a strong feeling they'll lead us right to Vanellope."

"Right! Bring out the hounds!" The taller cop out of the two said.

"They can't hide while these trained sniffer guard dogs are on the trail," the round cop assured their king.

"Good! Let me know when you find them at once," King Candy returned as he hopped into his white royal race kart to head back to his castle.

"Yes, sir!" The two policeman answered in unison.

Once they had each been given three chocolate creme cake sniffing dogs on leashes the guard dogs immediately picked up the runaways scent and were pulling both of the cops toward the targets.

The two guards were practically dragging behind as the dogs ran down the trail at a fast pace in hot pursuit!

~Rowdy Rumble plays (KH II OST)~

As they were running to get away from the cops, Sora looked over his shoulder without stopping to see if Ralph was still behind and found that he was keeping right up with them.

It was starting to look like they had lost the royal guards the further they ran, but behind them they suddenly heard a string of barking! It sounded like it was getting really close to where they were!

"What's that?" Sora asked while running even faster.

"It sounds like we haven't lost them yet," Riku replied as he was running beside his friend.

"What should we do, Riku?!" Sora questioned his older friend excitedly.

"Hey! Can I say something?" Ralph called from behind them, causing the two heroes to look behind them while they were still on the move.

When the barking got louder they looked back behind them and could actually see the two guards being led by a pack of dark colored cakes which were catching up to them!

"(Gasp!) What are those things?!" Sora wondered as he turned to look in front of him to run faster.

"I think they're using them to pick up our scent!" Ralph replied while running with his big arms waving over his head. "If we can throw off their trail we might be able to lose them!"

"Great! Do you have something in mind then?" Riku asked as he kept running.

When Ralph saw they were running up to a chocolate pond he said, "I have an idea! Slow down a sec!"

Sora and Riku were surprised to hear the man with giant hands tell them to stop, but since they were running out of ideas they decided to do as he said. Although, the two of them became confused when they saw him standing in front of a brown pond.

While Sora watched Ralph quickly pull out some striped, straw looking things sticking up around the chocolate pond he asked, "What are you doing?"

"If we're going under we'll need a way to breath," Ralph answered as he walked up to the two teenage boys who both looked confused. "Here!"

"What do you mean 'go under?'" Sora questioned him as he took one of the straws.

"I think I know what he has in mind," Riku admitted after getting his straw from the wrecking guy. "But I don't know..."

"You two better hurry if you don't want to get caught!" Ralph warned them before jumping into the pond with a splash.

"(Dogs barking)"

"Riku! They're getting closer!" Sora exclaimed as the barking grew louder!

"Looks like we have no choice," Riku replied while taking one last glance down upon the brown water which looked like a dirty thing to jump into.

When Sora saw the dogs getting closer he ran up behind his friend and prepared to give him a shove, "(Gasp!) Come on, Riku! You can get me back later! Ergh!" Sora said as he knocked himself into his unsuspecting friend.

"Whugh!" Riku yelled as he was pushed into the pond while Sora splashed in right behind him, then the two kept themselves under the brown liquid to hide from the approaching guards.

~Rowdy Rumble ends~

When the cops and their dogs came up to the chocolate pond the dogs began sniffing where the ground went into the pond for the scent they'd been following.

The guards couldn't see anyone around the pond with straws growing around it.

"Where'd they go?" The iced donut cop wondered.

"They couldn't have got too far," the other cop replied while his three hounds were sniffing around wildly.

"It looks like the dogs are picking something up! You go that way and I'll go this way!" The round cop said as his dogs ran around the pond.

The guards and their hounds ran around the pond with their noses to the ground, looking for the three targets they had been appointed to find.

Sora, Riku and Ralph heard the cops leave and made their way to the bank while three straws floated through the brown pond.

One by one they popped their heads up and began climbing back onto dry land, all dripping soaked with sweet chocolate.

~Innocent Times plays (KH BBS OST)~

Sora shook his head to shake off the wet chocolate, "Rrugh! Ha ha...I'm soaked!"

"I wonder what that water was made out of..." Riku said while shaking his head to the side and kicked each foot to sling off the chocolate.

While Ralph slung his big arms he complained about the wet stuff all over him, "Blah! I hate chocolate!"

~Innocent Times ends~

"Chocolate?!" Riku and Sora both echoed back together in surprise.

"At least we lost them," Ralph admitted with relief before walking up a hill of brown sprinkles to have a look.

Sora was still shaking the chocolate off his shoes when he noticed Ralph climbing up the small hill, "Are you looking for something?" Sora asked the man with messy brown hair in a red plaid shirt.

"Hmph! What do you care, kid?" Ralph responded coldly, causing Sora to feel very offended.

"I don't get it... Did we do something wrong?" Sora asked him innocently.

"He means a side from attacking you while you were covered in that green gunk..." Riku added, since Sora forgot to mention that part.

"Oh, yeah! Sorry about all that... We thought you were a monster when we saw that girl running away from you like that," Sora tried to explain in his regret.

"You know, if it weren't for the two of you I might have gotten my medal back by now!" Ralph shouted in an upset tone. "Now how am I gonna found that little thief, huh?"

"Aw..." Sora sighed. "We didn't know she was a thief. We really messed up... What is it she took from you?"

"The medal I earned myself in another game. It was going to change my life," Ralph answered without looking back at them.

"Really?" Sora replied with wonder.

"Is there anyway we can help you get it back?" Riku asked after listening.

"Yeah! I mean, it is kinda our fault that girl got away," Sora agreed while feeling partly responsible. "The least we can do is help you find her again. I think we owe you that much."

"Fine then. Help me get back my medal and we'll call it even," Ralph returned as he faced their way.

"Sounds fair," Riku thought.

"Alright then! Let's go find the girl with your medal," Sora smiled back at Ralph.

"Sounds good to me, kid!" Ralph agreed.

"Uh, heh...I think we'd better start with our names first... My name's Sora. And that's Riku," Sora introduced him and his friend, since he preferred not to be called 'kid.'

"Name's Ralph," the wrecking guy told them.

"Nice to meet you," Riku replied, deciding it would be best not to let him know he and Sora had heard about how he abandoned his game, wanting to hold off on bringing it up to maybe find out more first.

(Motors roaring noises!)

Right after Sora and Riku had walked up the small hill to join Ralph a group of race karts went around the track in front of them, making clouds of cocoa behind them.

"Quick! Follow those racers!" Ralph said as he ran after the fast moving karts.

"Uh! Wait up!" Sora called to him as he and Riku went after him.

The three of them ran right across the tracks to save time while they kept their eyes on the racers, who seemed to be in a hurry to get somewhere.

Sora and Riku both wondered what Ralph had in mind for following the group of racers while they ran behind him.

When they heard the kart's motors quieting down they walked up a steeper hill of chocolate sprinkles to look down and see that the racers were all parked around Vanellope and her crafty little car.

As Ralph crouched down on his stomach he caught sight of the girl who stole his medal and said, "It's that little crumb snatcher."

"But...what's going on?" Sora wondered curiously while he and Riku were also keeping themselves down low on the hillside to avoid being seen.

"Who cares!" Ralph was about to go down when he saw the other racers wearing bright colors start to surround the young girl wearing a green hoodie and striped tights. "Huh?"

As three of the racers approached her, Vanellope greeted them happily, "Hello, fellow racers! Candlehead, Taffyta, Rancis, you're looking well. Came by to check out the competition, huh? Well, here it is, the Lickitysplit!"

"Yeesh, looks like she built it herself," Ralph commented behind the hillside.

"Nothing wrong with that. Right, Riku," Sora said as he looked over at his friend, remembering the raft they had made on their own back on the Islands.

"Sure..." Riku gave him a side smile before shaking his head, thinking about how he was actually the only one who ever worked on their raft and it was because of him that it even got built.

Vanellope turned to the racers who didn't look very impressed, "Built it myself. Fastest pedal power west of the Whack a Mole! Check her out." After climbing into her car she began pedaling it with her feet while the back end was propped up, grinning confidently while honking a little red horn attached on the side.

~Hesitation plays (KH II OST)~

"Oh, Vanellope, it's so...you," the girl with short white hair and wearing all pink replied while holding a tiny lollipop. "But you have to back out of the race...yeah." She said before licking her lollipop.

"Oh no I-I don't, you know. Because I paid my fee and I'm on the board, so...yeah. I'm definitely racing." Vanellope said with a confident look in her eyes.

"Yeah well, King Candy says glitches can't race," Taffyta told her as she flicked her sucker away.

"I'm not a glitch, Taffyta," Vanellope said in her defense as she dematerialized and flashed blue like before. "I just have dyslexia, okay."

"Huh?!" Sora said after seeing the girl turn blue suddenly.

"Rules are there for a reason, Vanellope. To protect us," they heard the racer in pink go on as she walked over to the pedal car. "Say I'm you... I'm in my weird little car, driving, and actually feel kinda cool for once. And then, all of sudden, oh no...I'm g-g-g-gli-glitching!"

"(Gasp!) Hey!" Vanellope gasped as she flashed blue again after seeing the racer tear off her steering wheel.

"See? You're an accident waiting to happen" the racer said as she tossed the cookie steering wheel into Vanellope.

Then, another racer who was nearly all red went up to the pedal car and pretended to glitch while she knocked off the wafer hood with her arm!

Ralph winced back at the sight, feeling bad for the poor girl, "Uncool..."

"They can't just do that!" Sora added, feeling strongly with disapproval toward the other racers' actions.

It wasn't long before all the racers had joined in to demolish the car, breaking and snapping things left and right!

Vanellope tried her best to make them stop as she tried to get around them.

"Stop! You're breaking it!" Vanellope cried as she was glitching blue. "Please! I just want to race like you guys!"

Taffeta turned around and began walking toward Vanellope, causing her to step back. "You'll never be a racer because YOU'RE a glitch! And that's all you'll ever be!" She said harshly as she pushed Vanellope down into a puddle of chocolate, where she fell in with a big splat!

~Hesitation ends~

Ralph couldn't stand for it anymore as he got up and yelled, "HEY! Leave her alone!" The racer looked up very startled.

"Yeah! Cut it out!" Sora exclaimed as he jumped up and followed Ralph down to chase them off, wanting to defend the poor girl. Riku followed behind them.

Ralph ran toward them while making loud roaring sounds, frightening the racers as they got up to get away in their cars screaming. They even looked scared to see Sora and Riku, remembering how they had attacked Ralph while he was covered in green sticky goo with their key shaped swords.

"Hey! It's those guys with the scary weapons! RUN!" The boy dressed in a chocolate theme named Rancis warned everyone.

Soon all the racers who had bullied Vanellope were driving away as fast as they could, leaving the sad little girl to pick herself up from the chocolate mud.

Ralph turned back around to face the girl, while Sora and Riku stood next to her to make sure she was okay.

Vanellope wiped her nose and looked to see Ralph staring at her, "What are you looking at?" She asked him defensively.

"You're welcome..." Ralph returned when she showed no gratitude for his help, "you rotten little thief!"

"I'm not a thief!" Vanellope objected while picking up some of the pieces of her broken car. "I just borrowed your coin—I was going to give it back to you after I won the the race."

"What do you mean? Why can't you give it back to me now?!" Ralph questioned her.

"Because, I used it as my entry fee!" Vanellope started to say.

"WHAT?!" Ralph responded with surprise.

"After it went into the big cup it turned into code. And the only way I can get it back is if I win the whole cup. The winner gets all the coins after the race," Vanellope explained.

"It's not a coin! It is a medal," Ralph replied, sounding upset.

"Coin...medal, whatever! Just go back to your own game and win another one," the girl told him in a grumbling tone.

"I can't! I didn't win it in my game, I won it in Hero's Duty!" Ralph replied angrily.

"Can't you just go back and win another one?" Sora asked him, wanting to stop their arguing.

"No—I cant just go win another one! They'd never let me back in there!" Ralph answered Sora in his frustrated mood, then he turned his attention back to the girl. "I can't believe this... I earned that medal! You'd better get it back for, toot-sweet, sister!"

"Calm down," Riku spoke up as he approached the angry wrecking guy. "Getting upset isn't going to help."

"Hey, aren't you two the same guys who started that brawl back at the races?" Vanellope asked the two heroes after recognizing them. "Why are you hanging around with Mr. Jumbo hands here?" She wondered while pointing at Ralph.

"We're trying to make up for attacking him earlier by helping him get back his medal," Sora replied while scratching the back of his head.

"See? They both know the proper way to take responsibility for their actions," Ralph pointed out to Vanellope.

"I know how to do that too!" Vanellope assured him with her arms crossed.

"Then give me my medal!" Ralph demanded.

Riku shook his head while looking up and muttered to himself, "Here we go again..."

~A Walk In Andante plays (KH II OST)~

"Well unless you've got a go kart hidden in the back folds of your neck, I can't help you," Vanellope said sarcastically, making Ralph even angrier while the two boys laughed quietly.

Sora, Riku and the little girl watched as Ralph ran around punching things on a mad rampage!

He used his big fists to tear down a row of tall swirly candy stick trees, shattering them into pieces while screaming and grunting.

Sora stood still just watching in amazement, "Whoa... He sure knows how to wreck things."

"He has a pretty bad temper, too," Riku pointed out while he watched the mad-man going crazy from the side.

"Yeah... Ha ha! Kinda like Donald!" Sora laughed. "Just...don't tell him I said that."

"I don't know, Sora... Sometimes you get a little angry while you're battling your enemies, too," Riku stated, trying to annoy his friend as usual. "I've seen you... And you looked upset to me."

"What?! Do not!" Sora returned in an offended manner as he stomped his foot. Vanellope giggled at the two friends.

~Just an Itty Bitty Too Much plays (KH OST)~

Now Ralph was hammering his fists into a big round jawbreaker rock while screaming like a maniac! "Aaaaaaargh! Hgh, hgh, hugh!"

"Uh... Is he seriously trying to break a rock?" Sora wondered while Vanellope shook her head in disbelief.

"Hey, genius, it's a jawbreaker!" Vanellope called over to Ralph. "You're never gonna b—!"

Vanellope stopped when the big jawbreaker Ralph was pounding suddenly broke in two! Her appearance glitched up as she stood in amazement.

"He did it...!" Sora uttered with a look of surprise.

~Just An Itty Bitty Too Much ends~

Ralph sat down on another jawbreaker to calm himself while breathing heavily, "Huh...huh..huh."

Sora walked over to Ralph and asked, "Hey, are you okay?"

"Leave me alone..." Ralph returned wearily.

"You can't give up..." Sora told him, trying his best to cheer him up. "There must be something we can do."

Vanellope had quietly went toward Ralph and was leaning across a giant jawbreaker in the ground when she said, "Yeah! Listen to spike-head, big guy!"

"Hey!" Sora responded to her calling him 'spike-head'.

"Listen to what?" Ralph replied hopelessly as he slumped.

"Look, you want that medal, right? And I want to race," Vanellope began. "So here's what I'm thinking... You help me get a kart–a REAL KART, and I'll win the race and get you back your medal."

Ralph looked back at her with a disagreeing face, "You want ME to help YOU?!"

"All you gotta do is break something for me–and your friends here can help, too!" Vanellope went on persistently as she nodded back at the other two.

"Sure! We'd be happy to help in any way we could. Right, Riku?" Sora replied before looking back at his older friend.

"Yeah," Riku nodded back.

"Come on, what do you say, friend?" Vanellope turned back to Ralph with a smile as she held out her hand.

"We are not friends," Ralph returned bitterly after looking at her. "And I'm not exactly all chummy with these two characters either."

"Hm..." Sora looked down with a frown, feeling bad again for attacking Ralph.

Vanellope continued holding her hand out for Ralph to shake, "Aaw, come on...let's shake on it." Ralph still made no reply as he seemed to be trying to ignore the girl.

"Don't give up yet," Sora spoke in. "We're all here to help you, you know."

"Hey! My arm's getting tired... We have a deal or not?" Vanellope asked for his answer while grabbing onto her stretched out arm with the other for support.

"Dnaagh!" Ralph growled as he turned to face her. "You'd better win." He held out his large hand and grabbed onto the girl's to shake on it.

"Alright!" Sora exclaimed excitedly with a big smile.

"So where do we go to get a racing kart then?" Riku asked the girl.

"Uh...I'll tell ya, but first...what's your name?" The girl asked the Keyblade master.

"It's Riku," he replied as he pointed behind him at his friend. "And he's Sora."

"Okaaay, Riku. I'm Vanellope, future champion of the winner's cup!" Vanellope said with a grin. "The only place to get a car around here is to make your own at the Kart Bakery. You guys are obviously new around here, so follow me!"

Once the little girl hopped down from the jawbreaker rock she quickly headed off to the bakery while everyone else followed her.

As Vanellope and the others were making their way passed colorful lollipop trees, the same two who had both left their games to go after Ralph were just flying into the Sugar Rush game on a hover board.

They flew above a torn down candy cane forest from where Ralph's shuttle had crash landed.

After landing Sergeant Calhoun and Felix walked up to look inside the wrecked shuttle they found, but soon discovered it was empty.

Now knowing that the Cy-bug was on the loose the two of them began trying to track down the virus with Calhoun's Cy-bug sensor device, determined to locate it before it laid its eggs and started a nest.

After making their way across a field of giant gumdrops Vanellope and the others arrived at the Kart Bakery gates where a small security guard building sat.

Vanellope signaled for them to duck down and sneak passed it without being seen by the watchman while she being as short as she was just walked by it, not tall enough to reach the window.

"Come on!" Vanellope whispered to them.

Ralph nearly had to make it passed the small hut by scooting across on his stomach since he was so big.

Sora and Riku were able to just crouch down low to avoid being seen by the guard and soon they had joined back with the little girl. Together they went under the striped wooden gate which was there to ensure people who entered in had been permitted to by the guard.

Because of Ralph's rather large size he managed to hit the gate as he crawled under it.

After getting passed the closed gate without being caught they hurried over to the big green factory buildings.

"You sure this is the right place?" Sora questioned the girl while looking around. "It looks like that door is locked."

"Yeah, yeah! Of course I'm sure! Don't worry about it!" Vanellope replied as she hurried over to a big steel door with an assumable picture of her painted on it, prohibiting glitches from entering. "Okay, do your thing knuckles, bust it open!" She said excitedly while turning to Ralph.

"What's this?!" Ralph asked, pointing to the evil looking picture of her on the door with a large, red circle around it. "You're a full on criminal, aren't ya?"

"Hey...we shook on it," Vanellope reminded him with a scowl.

As Ralph was bringing his fist up to break the door down Sora tried to stop him, "Wait! You don't—!"

(CRASH!)

Sora was too late when Ralph suddenly busted his fist through the door, causing the door to shatter into pieces inside!

Vanellope jumped up with excitement after the door had been torn down.

Sora and Riku gave each other an unsure look, "Er...I was going to say we could just unlock that door for you with our Keyblades. You didn't have to tear it down," Sora told them.

"What's a Keyblade..?" Vanellope asked, sounding confused.

"It's um... It's just something we could've used to open that door for you," Sora replied, not wanting to reveal too much about him and his friend.

"Aw well! Looks like it's too late now," Vanellope replied before running into the Kart factory room, while the rest followed her inside with wonder as they walked through a red curtain.

The room was very dark when they first entered in, that is until the girl stood on a red button in the middle of the floor in the round room.

Colorful lights turned on and they could see different models of go karts around them.

"Where are we?" Sora asked in the hollow sounding room.

"I don't see any karts either..." Riku added after looking the room over.

"You gotta make one!" Vanellope answered confidently.

Ralph looked worried all of a sudden, "What? No no no...look, kid, bad idea, trust me. I don't make things, I break things."

"Well, looks like you're going to be stepping outside your comfort zone then," Vanellope replied as she was looking around at the many models of karts to decide which one she wanted. Then she suddenly ran over to the screen where a red kart with a sporty looking design was.

~Big Race plays (KH BBS OST)~

The curtain raised as she approached it, revealing another large room with a giant machine inside.

The lights came on as they entered into the dark room and a man's voice called out through a loud speaker.

"Welcome to the bakery! Let's make a car!" The man's voice announced in an enthusiastic tone. "You have one minute to win it!"

"What is this...another game?" Ralph asked in a grumbly voice.

"Yeah—well, it's a mini game," the girl said as she ran over to the machine to get started.

"What?" Ralph sounded confused.

"I don't get it... This is how you make a car?" Sora questioned while he stared up at a big timer with one minute lit up in large numbers that hung above the machine.

"Yeah! Come on, you guys!" Vanellope exclaimed to them as she hopped onto a platform with a steering wheel as the clock began to count down.

Sora and Riku looked at the big contraption where two red and white striped tubes hung above a teetering platform with a chef's picture printed on the back of it, where going on down they could see a conveyor belt beneath it.

~Dessert Paradise plays (KH BBS OST)~

"MIXING!" The voice they heard before rang out of the speakers. "Put the ingredients in the bowl and throw away the trash!"

"Hmm...that sounds easy enough, I guess," Sora admitted after listening carefully.

"What can we do to help?" Riku asked.

"We have to get the right baking ingredients into the bowl on the right and keep the trash from falling into it," Vanellope replied as she began trying to steer the wheel to bounce the ingredients on the platform which came falling out of the tubes, though so far she wasn't doing very well.

"No! You're putting in the trash, kid!" Ralph told her excitedly.

"Well I'm trying... It's harder than it looks!" The girl replied as she kept turning the wheel.

When Sora saw Ralph running up to the machine he looked back at Riku, "Let's help too!"

"Okay," Riku agreed before he ran over to the machine with Sora.

Ralph climbed on to the platform and began punching the right ingredients into the mixing bowl and the trash objects into the trash.

Once Sora and Riku got close enough they brought out their Keyblades and started using their strike raid ability and sent their Keys at the falling objects below to help Ralph put the stuff in the right places.

Vanellope continued trying her best to turn the wheel the right way, but still wasn't doing very good.

"Yah! Ahah!" Sora said while tossing his Keyblade as it kept coming back to him like a boomerang after bouncing off the objects.

Ralph had started to lose his balance as the platform tilted to the side by Vanellope's steering and was sliding toward the edge out of control!

"Aah!" Ralph cried as he dropped into the large mixing bowl after falling off.

"Oh no!" Sora gasped when he saw what had happened.

The conveyor belt then began to move the bowl down the track, all the way over to another big machine.

Sora and Riku dismissed their Keyblades and ran over to the machine when they saw Vanellope running after the bowl which Ralph was stuck inside of.

Before the bowl came to the other device a large mixer with a single beater lowered down over the bowl when Ralph was about to climb out.

After the mixer turned on Ralph was pulled back into the bowl and was mixed in with the other ingredients as they were being mixed into a liquid substance.

Sora and Riku made worried faces at each other while they watched from below.

Luckily after the mixer had turned off and was lifted out of the bowl Ralph was able to climb out before the batter was poured into the molding pan.

He came out a little doughy, but it was better than getting cooked in the oven the pan had been brought into by the belt.

With forty one seconds to go on the clock the man's announcing voice said, "Baking! Pump up the heat and hold up the perfect temperature!"

Vanellope and the two heroes had already made it up to the big pump located in front of the big oven, but Sora and Riku had no clue what they were supposed to be doing.

"What's this thing do?" Sora asked as Vanellope was just jumping onto the pump's lever on top to hop up and down on it. Riku looked confused, too.

"Hurry! We've gotta start pumping to crank up the heat!" Vanellope returned as she kept jumping on the pump, not doing much to bring it down with her light weight.

"Got it!" Sora acknowledged before both he and Riku grabbed onto the sides of the lever to help the little girl push it down while she continued hopping in the middle.

Ralph was coming over to join them when he saw the three of them all trying to push the lever down as time was running out, "Get back! I can do this." Ralph said as he grabbed onto the lever with his big hands, knocking everyone else back.

As Sora and Riku sat on the floor from being pushed out of the way they watched in amazement as Ralph pressed down so hard on the lever that it snapped into pieces under him!

"(Gasp!)" The two Keyblade wielders gasped after the pump had been shattered.

"Ralph!" Vanellope scolded him for breaking it, not seeing how they'll get enough heat to rise in the oven to bake her car.

Ralph looked down at the hose and got an idea, "No problem! I'll just...(big blowing puffs sounds!)"

Ralph began blowing into the hose as he held it up to his mouth, making the heat meter rise all the way up to the middle line where it read, 'Just Right.'

He held his breath steady for as long as he could until there was a loud (DING!)

Ralph's face looked a little blue after he removed the hose from his mouth and gasped for air.

"C'mon! Get up, Ralph! Fifteen seconds!" Vanellope cried to rush everyone as she headed over to the next stage. Sora and Riku jumped up to their feet to go after her while Ralph was still catching his breath.

"Decorating!" The announcer said through the speakers around them as they reached where the baked car had been pulled over to after being dumped out of the pan.

Now they were standing in front of some kind of shooting device facing a bunch of colorful capsules filled with icing.

There were also gold wheels and targets in front of the icing filled containers for the shooter to aim at.

"Wheels first!" Vanellope exclaimed as the machine put four wheels onto the car.

"How does it work?" Riku questioned with a puzzled look.

"I think I know!" Sora said as he ran over to the cannon shooter to hit the capsules hanging above the undecorated car cake. "Leave this to me!"

Sora jumped onto the stand to activate the cannon and began aiming at the targets after grabbing onto the two handles on the side of the shooter.

He hit the big red button in the center to shoot white balls at the targets to ice the go kart.

Small amounts of frosting began to come out of the capsules and fall over the car, only coloring a small area of it.

Sora kept firing at all the targets with the white balls, causing multiple colors to ice the car.

But since time was almost out and he had only covered half of the car, Ralph decided to jump in again, causing Sora to fall off the stand as he climbed aboard with his bulky build.

"Oops! Sorry 'bout that, kid!" Ralph apologized to the spiky haired boy. Then after taking control of the cannon, Ralph punched the red button really hard!

The white ball blasted out so fast that when it hit the target the glass capsule filled with frosting fell apart and leaned into the capsules beside it, and they all bursted into pieces!

Frosting splattered all over the conveyor belt and car, until all they could see was a big pile of mixed colored frosting!

"Man, what a mess," Sora uttered as he looked at the running frosting all over everything.

"That doesn't look right.." Riku said with a shaking head as he and the others followed along with the belt over to a big metal box after the clock had completely ran out of time.

~Dessert Paradise ends~

"Times up!" The man's announcing voice said as they approached the end of the machine with a lit up picture of the same car model they had seen before. "Congratulations! You did it, and here's your car!"

Everyone watched closely as the front lifted up, and soon they saw a pile of candy and cookies fall out along with the newly baked go kart as it rolled down the ramp.

From the looks of things the car was a real disaster!

"Uh..." Sora sighed as he stared down at the car with deep disappointment.

"Oh, boy..." Ralph added as he brushed his large hand against his face in disbelief. "I told you, I don't make things...I just break it."

"That could've gone better," Riku admitted after a couple blinks.

Vanellope was the only one who hadn't said anything as she slowly made her way up to the car covered in a glop of chocolate and pink frosting with mismatched wheels.

Her eyes were widely fixed on the go kart...

"I love it..." the girl said after she stopped in front of the car. Ralph could hardly believe his ears!

"Huh?" Sora said as he looked up at her with surprise, while Riku did the same.

"You do?" Ralph asked the girl.

"I love it! I love it! I love it! I can't believe I've got a real car!" Vanellope exclaimed excitedly while running around her new race car to check it out.

Sora walked over to the girl, "You really do...?"

"YES!" Vanellope replied with a huge grin, making Ralph smile, too. "Thank you! Thank you! I just can't believe I have a real car!"

Sora and Riku exchanged smiles with a laugh while Vanellope climbed into her car happily, seeming to be very excited about the big race.

"Well, what do you say we get you ready for that race?" Sora asked as he looked at Vanellope, who looked like she was about ready to take off any second.

"Yeah! Sounds great!" Vanellope replied excitedly. "But...er, there's something I should probably tell y-!"

Before Vanellope could finish, the back sliding door of the factory suddenly opened, and outside stood King Candy and his to officers! They had just been alerted about the bakery intruders by the security watchman, once he caught them on his screen after waking from his nap.

"Huh?!" Sora gasped with surprise after he turned around to see the same two cops who had tried to capture them earlier.

"Wha-!" Riku said after seeing the king of Candy Rush.

~Shaded Truths plays (KH BBS OST)~

"Hold it right there!" King Candy shouted. "So, you're all in this crime together...? Have it your way! You can all join each other in my Fungeon! No glitch is going to race if I have anything to say about it. Get them!" As the guards went in to secure them, Sora and Riku both brought out their Keyblades.

Turning to Ralph and the little girl, Sora said, "Hurry! We'll hold them off until you're ready."

"You heard him, kid! Let's get outta here," Ralph told the girl as he ran over to her where she sat in the driver's seat.

Vanellope went into a panic after Ralph climbed onto the back of the car, "No, I can't! I was trying to tell you before— I-I don't know how to drive a real car!"

"You what?!" Ralph replied in shock.

As King Candy walked inside he looked at the two boys carrying the strange swords and said, "Not you two again! I order you to drop your weapons immediately!"

"I don't think so!" Sora returned.

"Hey, what's going on back there?" Riku asked as he looked back at Ralph and Vanellope, who still hadn't started the car up.

"Uh...we're having a little difficulty right now! Give us a second!" Ralph replied.

"Grrreat..." Riku muttered as he faced the two officers with his Keyblade.

"Arrest them all!" King Candy directed his guards angrily.

As the round donut cop confronted them with his wooden club Sora waved his Keyblade out to the side, "Wind!" He said as he blew the cop back with a gust from his Aeroga spell.

"Drift!" Riku said, casting his Zero Gravity spell, which soon lifted the two cops spinning into the air as they were caught in its field.

"Come on, now's our chance!" Sora called back to Ralph and the girl.

"Argh, enough of this! Hang on!" Ralph exclaimed as he reached for the bakery floor with his large hands to push the car away while mounted on the back. "We're out of here!"

"Whoa!" Vanellope cried as the car quickly began to roll away while she tried to steer it straight.

The fast rolling go kart was heading straight into the two Keyblade bearers when they looked back to see Ralph and the girl coming at them! Even King Candy jumped to get out of the way.

"Get on!" Vanellope called to the young heroes as they were nearly about to run over them.

"Doesn't look like we have much of a choice!" Sora replied as he jumped up to get out of the way and land on the moving car with the others.

"Slow down!" Riku exclaimed as he leaped to avoid getting hit by the car, managing to land on the other side from Sora on the car's running boards.

~Shaded Truths ends~

"Hold on, everybody!" Ralph warned as the car was about to drive up a ramp toward the exit.

"Whoooa!" Sora and Riku exclaimed while the car went over the ramp and out the door above the king.

"STOP! GET BACK HERE!" King Candy demanded them. The cops had both fallen back to the floor once the spell's effect had worn off.

~Untamable plays (KH 3D OST)~

The race car with a load of passengers landed back on the cocoa dirt ground as Ralph kept it going fast to escape the king and the guards. But they soon saw King Candy and his guards chasing after them in their own vehicles.

King Candy was riding close to their bumper in his white race car, while the cops sped after them in their two patrol motor bikes

"Guys, they're getting closer!" Sora warned them while hanging on tightly to the side of the car. "Can't we go any faster?"

"Oh, how about you try moving this thing with your arms for a while!" Ralph snapped back at Sora as he swept his big hands on the ground to keep the car going passed the giant gumdrops.

"We're not going to be able to lose them out here!" Riku pointed out while struggling to keep his balance.

"Head to Diet Cola Mountain!" Vanellope cried to Ralph as their pursuers drew near. "Go to that rock!"

"What!" Ralph replied.

"Right there!" Vanellope pointed out. "Between the two sugar free lollipops!"

"But there's no opening!" Riku said after looking ahead.

"We'll never make it!" Sora added in excitedly.

"Just do it!" The little girl told Ralph.

As Ralph steered the car toward the rock Sora and Riku made worried faces as they got closer, trying to ready themselves for the impact they were sure was coming!

When the car moved in under the two lollipops making an 'X' on the rock the car surprisingly went right through the wall as a blue grid appeared in front of them, revealing a hidden doorway.

Their car then skidded into the brown cave and drove out of control until it ran straight into a rock!

"Aah!" They all screamed as they were thrown off the car after the crash, while the small girl sat in her seat after hitting the bump.

~Untamable ends~

Sora and Riku were both lying on their back on the ground when they started to get back up. Ralph was sitting upside down against another ledge with an unsatisfied look on his face.

"Is everyone okay?" Riku asked them after getting up.

"I'm good," Sora answered. "But did we lose them out there?"

"It looks like it," Riku replied as he looked around them.

"Let me get this straight... You don't know how to drive?" Ralph asked the girl as he rolled over to his feet.

"Well, no, not really... But I'm a racer. I can feel it in my code!" The little girl returned confidently.

"Oh, so that's what took you guys so long at the bakery," Sora said as he walked up to the girl while rubbing the back of his head. "Why didn't you just tell us?"

Vanellope climbed out of the car, "I started to... But that's when those guards found us, and..."

"And you actually expected to win back my medal when you can't even drive, kid?!" Ralph interrupted.

"I just thought that maybe after I got a car it would just come to me naturally, you know!" Vanellope replied while she tried to push the front of her car back off the rock.

Sora walked over to help her push as he bent over, "Let me help you. Hugh..." Soon the car had rolled back onto the ground after they finished pushing it forward.

"This may seem like a bad time to bring it up, but I think even if she could drive it still wouldn't matter. That king doesn't sound like he's going to allow her to race," Riku pointed out. "We might have to figure some other way to get back your medal."

"I don't get it. What's the big deal about this medal?" Vanellope asked.

"Look, this may come as a shock to you, but in my game I'm the bad guy!" Ralph confessed.

"A bad guy?'" Sora questioned. "What do you mean by that?"

~Missing You plays (KH II OST)~

"If I returned home with a hero's medal it would change my life," Ralph explained. "Everyone wouldn't see me as a villain anymore. I could live up in the penthouse. Get pies. Maybe finally have some real friends for once..."

"Awh..." Sora sighed with feelings for the misunderstood wrecking guy. "That must be hard..."

"None of you have any idea what it's like," Ralph frowned as he looked down. "There's nothing worse than being alone all the time—with no one to talk to."

"No, I get it," Vanellope spoke up. "That's exactly what racing would do for me."

"Well, it looks like neither of us is going to get what we want," Ralph returned grimly.

~Missing You ends~

"Whoa, now," Sora said, "hold on a second. You two can't just give up on something that means so much to you. Giving up on dreams like that will only leave you feeling miserable for the rest of your life. You can't just throw everything you've worked for away!"

"Sora's right," Riku agreed. "If the two of you want to make a change in your life then you need to stay at it. After all, it's not over yet."

"Yeah," Sora nodded. "How's about giving it one more try? And if that king gets in the way, don't worry. Me and Riku will take care of it!"

"Heh, thanks for checking with me first, Sora..." Riku said in a sarcastic manner.

"Oh, heh heh..." Sora laughed awkwardly.

"I don't know where you get all that confidence from, kid, but I don't see how we have any chance," Ralph said as he dropped himself down onto a rock to sit, causing the ground to quake a little.

Suddenly they heard a loud explosion come from behind a wall in the Diet Cola cave! Ralph got up to go check it out while the others followed him.

"What was that?" Sora asked a bit startled as they walked over to some kind of steamy soda spring.

Riku looked down at a sign posted in the ground that said: 'Diet Cola Hot Springs... Watch out for falling Mentos.'

"Oh, yeah! Check it out!" Vanellope exclaimed as she held up a rock to throw at the Mentos hanging high above the spring. Everyone watched closely after the rock hit the white candies above them.

After a single Mento piece fell below after being hit it dropped into the boiling soda and caused a big explosion as the soda rose up like a geyser. A few of the drops from the hot soda splashed toward Ralph and the others!

"Ow! Hot!" Ralph cried as he jumped back to get away from the boiling spring. Sora and Riku stepped back as well.

"Better watch out for the splash because it's boiling hot!" The little girl cautioned them with a late warning.

"What's that?" Riku asked while pointing up at some kind of unfinished construction in front of them.

"I think it's some sort of unfinished bonus level...?" Vanellope admitted, though she sounded unsure herself.

"A bonus level, huh...?" Sora thought.

"It's pretty cool, huh? I found that secret opening, and now I live here," the girl told them, referring to the secret entrance between the lollipops they had drove into a while ago. "See, look!"

Vanellope ran over to what looked like a shack she built herself, where a round cake sat in the center as her soft bed.

While she showed them her little home Ralph began to give her a sympathetic look...

"So you stay here by yourself?" Ralph asked the girl in a sad tone.

"Yeah. Everyone here says I was just a mistake, and that I wasn't even supposed to exist..." The girl replied while she sat up in her bed.

"What do you mean? How could somebody say such a thing?" Sora questioned with a surprised look on his face.

"I don't know... I guess because I'm different," Vanellope said.

"I know it's none of my business, but why do you even stick around this game?" Ralph asked.

You don't know anything, do you...? Because glitches can't leave their games!" The girl told him.

"What exactly is a glitch anyway?" Sora asked her, looking confused.

"Isn't that what we heard some of those other racers call you?" Riku wondered after hearing that word again.

"A glitch is what you call a program when it doesn't function the way it's supposed to," Vanellope explained to the two Keyblade wielders. "Hey, what kind of game do you two come from? Everyone around here should know this kind of stuff already."

"Um...I guess we have some trouble remembering," Sora replied, still trying to keep their act going.

Without another word, Ralph suddenly began punching his fists down into the surface, making chunks of rock fly up around him.

The others watched him in complete amazement, without having a clue to why he was smashing the cave floor into a giant circle.

"Hey! What are you doing? I know it's not much, but it's all I've got," Vanellope complained to him from her little shack.

"Huh...I think I know what he's got in mind," Riku said with a side smile.

"Seriously? What...?" Sora asked with a blank look on his face.

As Ralph finished creating a perfect ring around the cave he came back over to the others saying, "If the kid's gonna learn how to race she'll need a track to practice on."

"Ah..." Sora awed at the idea with an open smile.

Vanellope became so excited that she skipped over to get into her car at once. "I'm gonna race! I'm gonna race! Oh, I can't wait to..." She suddenly stopped and looked back at Ralph confused. "Wait, who's going to teach me how to drive?"

"Don't worry, I had some experience with that while I was flying the shuttle that brought me here," Ralph assured her.

"But you crashed it," Vanellope said as she gave him a skeptical look.

"Hm hm hm," Sora couldn't help snickering to himself at the two.

"If it helps, Sora here knows how to operate a flying vessel. Though...I'm not sure if his flying techniques are anything to brag about," Riku suggested while teasing his friend like always.

"Hey! For your information, I've driven all kinds of things before!" Sora returned quickly.

"Haha ha," Riku laughed, while the tiny girl and Ralph exchanged smiles.

"Hmph, don't pay any attention to my friend, you guys. He likes to mess around," Sora said as went over to the car to assist Ralph in teaching Vanellope how to work a vehicle.

"Ha, I think I could definitely get used to a friendship like that," Vanellope admitted after hearing the two boys, while unmistakably showing signs of feeling a little envy toward them.

Vanellope listened carefully, and did her best to pay attention while Sora and Ralph explained things to her.

They showed her what all the pedals did, though neither of the two could say they knew what the first floor pedal closest to the front wheel was for.

It wasn't long before they had the young, ambitious racer behind the wheel and reeling slowly around the track. They even helped her stay straight by holding onto the sides to guide her.

While the others helped Vanellope practice, Riku stood next to her tiny shack, waiting for them to finish giving her lessons.

Even though he was all to himself at the time, he was very occupied by the thoughts going through his head...

He and Sora still hadn't found a way out of the game, or wherever it was they were in... And Donald and Goofy were no where to be seen.

The thought of having no idea how they had been brought into the arcade game worried him, and for many reasons...

The entire time he has been traveling with Sora and the others to Worlds in need of their help he kept busy wondering about his presently cheerful friend.

Back at the tower he seemed to be troubled more than usual, and was even a bit distant from everyone for a while. At first, Riku feared whatever was bothering him then would stick with him while visiting other Worlds, but that couldn't seem to be more wrong. Sora appeared to be feeling really happy, despite being apart from his other two traveling buddies.

He wondered, could his carefree mood be true, or was he just trying to hide how he was really feeling inside from his older friend?

Could his friend really be so easily distracted from his worries when trying to help someone out?

It was obvious Sora was determined to help both the wrecking guy and girl to fulfill their own dreams.

Another thing that was troubling Riku was the organization, who were up to something back outside the game World. They needed to get back to their World to help keep an eye on things.

By now, Vanellope's driving was really improving! She was getting better at keeping the car on the track and handling the accelerator.

When Riku went over to check on how the others were doing, he saw Sora run ahead of the tiny race kart, waving both of his hands over his head while facing the little girl.

~All For One plays (KH 3D OST)~

"I think you're ready to bring up the speed now," Sora called to Vanellope. "Let's see how well you handle driving fast! Ah ha, c'mon! Catch me if you can!"

"Haha! Are you kidding! I'll run right over YOU," Vanellope called back with a confident laugh.

"Think so?" Sora grinned with his hands behind his head.

"Uh, yeah!" The girl confirmed with an eye roll.

"Well, let's try it anyway, just to be sure!" Sora insisted before running down the track to get away.

"You'll have to pick up the speed if you want to out run me, Spike-head!" Vanellope replied as she put her car into drive to go after him.

"Heh, that's not gonna be a problem!" Sora laughed as he ran faster along the track with the girl catching up to him in her car.

As Riku stood on the side to watch he shook his head at his friend with a small grin, "Really, Sora...?"

When he could feel a vibration under his feet, Sora glanced behind him to see Vanellope getting really close!

He quickly dodged by leaping over to the side to switch lanes and kept going, beginning to feel a little burned out from exhaustion as he breathed heavier in big huffs.

"Hey, getting tired yet?" Vanellope called over to him with a wink as she passed by him in the other lane.

Sora looked to the side as he ran, running so hard he was about to tumble forward, "Hugh...a-hugh...you're doing great, keep it up! Hugh...huh...!" He told her as he was taking short breaths.

"You got it!" The girl replied before stepping on the gas to speed ahead of the exhausted boy. She drove her car all the way around the track at break neck speed!

"Yeah! Go, kid!" Ralph cheered from the side of the road.

"Huh...whoa! How'd she—?" Sora said after he saw her car speeding around the track, almost ahead of him by a whole lap! Before he could turn his head the other way to watch the car, Vanellope was already back on him from behind, this time in the same lane! "Whah—no way!"

"Ha ha! Better get out of the way!" Vanellope warned him as the front of the car was about to ride over him.

"Hah! Sounds good to me!" Sora called back excitedly as he rolled to the side to get off the road, rolling three times as he tumbled on the ground. "Ahh...huh..wow...now that's fast!" He admitted after coming to a stop to see Vanellope driving her car around the track on her fourth lap.

"Way to go, kid!" Ralph exclaimed to the young racer as he watched in amazement.

~All For One ends~

Vanellope looked behind her and said, "Watch this!" Then she steered her car off the ring and drove off track, heading straight towards the unfinished bonus trail.

"Hey, what is she doing?!" Riku questioned in a worried tone as he ran over to Ralph and Sora.

"I'm not sure..." Sora replied with a shrug while keeping his eyes on the girl.

The confident Vanellope drove her car up the ramp to try making the long jump over the boiling cola spring, which made the others nervous.

Once her car had driven off the edge of the unfinished railway track her car was in the air, moving toward the other side of the tracks. But when she was about half way over to the next track she suddenly flashed blue as her glitches started acting up, and her car teleported higher, closer to the hanging Mentos! Sora and Riku gasped at the sight.

~Apprehension plays (KH II OST)~

"Aaah!" She screamed as she lost control of her car and went flying into the Mentos, causing them to fall apart and rain down into the cola spring. Fortunately, she still managed to land safely on the other side of the tracks, but as she kept driving down the slope the white candies were even closer to landing in the scalding hot spring!

The others watching below became startled as the Mentos splashed into the spring, and their eyes grew wide when the impact caused pillars of steaming hot geysers to go up with a loud BOOM! "Whaaaah!" Ralph, Sora and Riku cried out as they ran away to take take cover!

"Whoooa!" Sora quickly tried to dodge the splashes coming at him as he ran away.

Once Riku was out of firing range he cast his aura shield around him, "Protect." As the splashes bounced after hitting the ground they were stopped by his shield just as he expected them to.

~Apprehension ends~

After Ralph finished dancing to avoid the steaming drops falling by his feet, Vanellope skidded her car next to him on the track and put on her brakes.

She wore the most excited expression on her face as she looked his way.

"How'd I do?" She asked.

"You almost blew up the whole cave—and all of us!" Ralph returned in a scolding tone.

"Hey, what happened up there?" Sora questioned as he and Riku walked over to them. "You just suddenly started flashing then disappeared!"

"Well..." Vanellope started to explain, but was soon interrupted by an upset Ralph.

~Tears Of The Light plays (KH BBS OST)~

"You've gotta get that glitch thing under control, kid!" He yelled.

"Oh, so that's what it was," Riku admitted after realizing what the effects from being a glitch were.

"I'm sorry... I must've been so excited that it made me lose control!" Vanellope returned apologetically.

"You mean...it happens on its own?" Sora asked the girl curiously.

"Yeah...sometimes," the girl answered with a sad look.

"There's no way you'll make it through the race like that," Ralph warned her. "It's way too dangerous!"

"No problem, Ralphy. I know I can keep it in! Trust me, I will!" The young girl tried to convince him.

"I hope so...or I'll never get my medal back..." Ralph frowned at her as he walked away. Vanellope looked down as she felt discouraged, then she also turned to walk away, leaving Sora and Riku to watch the two go off in opposite directions.

~Tears Of The Light ends~

After it was just the two friends, Sora looked at Riku, "What now, Riku? We can't just leave them like this... They both looked so upset."

"I know," Riku replied in an understanding way. "But knowing you, I'm sure you've got something in mind, right?"

"Yeah," Sora smiled at his friend. "Will you help me?"

"Well, I can't say I have very much experience with that sort of thing, but I could give it a try. I think traveling around with you and the other two has helped me some. I'm beginning to see why you have so many friends, Sora."

"It's not as hard as you think! Besides, my friends are your friends too, you know. Just be yourself. Heh, that's always worked for us, hasn't it?"

"Y-yeah. It sure has," Riku agreed with a warm smile.

"Good! I'll meet up with you soon," Sora promised as he turned to go after Vanellope.

"Well, here goes nothing," Riku said as he paced himself toward Ralph's direction.

When Sora caught up to Vanellope he found her sitting in front of the cola springs, just staring ahead.

He approached slowly so he wouldn't startle her, and stopped right behind the girl who had her arms wrapped around her tucked legs.

"Hey there," Sora greeted her softly. "I just wanted to let you know, I thought you were great out there."

"Ugh, if you like to watch things explode...then sure," Vanellope returned with a sigh. Sora tilted his head at her remark, then he walked over to sit down next to her.

"That stuff in there sure is hot, huh?" Sora brought up the hot spring, hoping to get the girl's mind off of racing if he could.

"What do you want?" The girl inquired while sounding a bit edgy.

"N-nothing...! I just saw you sitting by yourself and—"

"You don't know what it's like being me! Everything comes so easy to you."

Sora gave her a funny look, "Easy...? Ha ha. I don't know if I'd say that."

"Oh, come on, sure it does! You've got a friend, a cool sword, and...who knows what else!"

"Hmm... You're right about my friend. Riku and I have known each other for as long as I can remember, and I know I can always count on him. We care a lot about each other. But you know, when we were little, we never believed anything could ever go wrong... Until one day, we soon found out it could!"

"What happened?"

"Well, something happened to our home, and it caused us to be separated for some time. That's when the Keyblade, or the 'cool sword' as you call it, came to choose me for its wielder. Although...that probably doesn't make any sense to you, huh?"

"No. What in the world is a 'Keyblade' anyway?"

"Um...it's a long story," Sora said as he scratched his head awkwardly.

"Heh heh. So how did the two of you find each other again?"

"...It actually was a long time before we were able to finally return to our home together. We had so many battles we had to overcome along all that time. Sometimes it seemed like we would never get to see each other the way we used to... But after a long journey, everything turned out alright. Sure, we both changed...a lot, but we accepted it. And now, he and I use our Keyblades to help others, and keep the Light safe."

"Wow, it sounds like you must come from an exciting game, Spiky."

"Uh, yeah, I guess..."

"All I want to do is race, and be a winner. Why can't he just believe in me...?"

"Do you mean Ralph? I'm sure he already does—just like we all do."

"He didn't sound like he did..."

"I guess he's just worrying too much. It happens to everybody, once in a while. Sometimes things can just become too hard to handle... Especially when Darkness is involved.

"What do you mean by that?"

"Well, let's just say there's another force out there that surrounds all of us—and the only thing it does is cause people to feel sad, scared, alone, and sometimes even angry. It isn't like the one that keeps us safe and happy, if you know what I mean. But my point is that this Dark force can get to anybody, if they let it."

"Are you trying to say that's what is causing him to be upset? Because if not, than I am beyond confused."

"Haha! Yep, that's right... At least, it could be. There's no way of knowing for sure."

"Huh... So do you think that's what causes my glitches?"

"Um...I can't say for sure. Some times things are just too hard for us to figure out."

"But no one has any idea what it's like... Having something like that happen to you all of a sudden—without you knowing when it's going to come...it's crazy!"

"It's okay. I think I understand how you feel... I kinda have something I can't explain happening to me, too."

Vanellope looked up at him with wonder as he was looking down at the boiling cola. "You do?" She replied.

"...Yeah. I have no idea what's causing it either. It just sort of...happens," Sora confessed.

"Is their a flaw in your programming, too?"

"No... I don't think my case is quite the same as yours, since I'm not actually from a...! What I mean is, I haven't found out the reason for it yet... But I will!"

"You mean, you're trying to learn how to control it?"

"Right. I'm sure I'll figure it out, then everything will turn out fine," Sora replied as he stood back up. "So... What about you? You're not gonna give up racing just because of a little glitch, are ya?"

"Not a chance!" Vanellope returned after she jumped to her feet. "I'm gonna go out there and win! Just you wait and see!"

"Mph, same goes for me, too!" Sora nodded with a smile as he looked her way. "No matter what, I'm going to be there for my friends."

"Yeah! Let's get over to that race so I can do what I love best!" The girl exclaimed excitedly. Sora knelt down and held out his hand to her, which she quickly took with her own with a big smile, feeling more confident about the race by the second!

Riku had found Ralph slumped on top of a rock, looking down at his big hands. He could tell he was feeling bad about something, so he walked up to him, hoping to start a conversation that might help him figure out what his problem was.

Ralph looked surprised to see the teenage boy with silver-blue hair approach him.

"What are you still doing here? I thought you and your friend would've left this sugar-coated game by now," Ralph said with a shaking head. "What are you two still sticking around for?"

"We haven't finished helping you retrieve your medal," Riku replied. "And my friend won't settle for that, trust me. It's looking like we'll be here for a while yet, at least until we're no longer needed, that is."

"Look, uh...I don't really want to hold you guys up on my account. You can leave if you want, I'll be okay on my own..."

"You sure about that? Because it sounds to me like you're not... You don't have to do everything by yourself, you know? There are some people here who really want to help you, just ask them."

"Why would anyone want to trouble themselves about me? I'm just the guy who wrecks things... And I'm used to being ignored, that's how it is when you're the villain."

"I've seen a lot of villains in my time, and I can't say you really resemble one at all."

"Hmph, thanks..." Ralph returned a bit offended.

"I didn't mean it that way. I meant you don't act like one," Riku tried to explain his point to him. "A true villain wouldn't help a little girl build a race car... And believe me, the way you showed how you care about what happens to that girl back there, no one from the Darkness would ever feel those concerns, because they don't care. Do you understand what I mean?"

"Uh, no, not really. What's all this talk about Darkness? Is that a big deal in your game or something?"

"You could say that it is, I guess. Even though you may not know it, Darkness is something that exists here, too. It's everywhere... Whether it stays inside you, or just follows you wherever you go, it's always trying to weaken your Light, but only if you let it."

"You lost me. Are you trying to tell me Darkness is taking over me?"

"No, just the opposite. I don't think your intentions are wrong... I think you just haven't found out what you really need yet. But maybe through all this you might find the answer you're looking for."

"And what's that?"

~Riku plays (KH II OST)~

"It isn't something I can tell you, sorry. You have to figure it out on your own... Just try listening to what your heart has to say. Like right now...it's obvious you're feeling sorry for that poor girl. Why don't you try letting it show? It can't hurt to care about someone, so there's no reason to worry about it. Trust your feelings, it'll show you the right way. Sometimes it's okay to put another person before yourself, take it from me."

"Hmm, I think I get what you're saying now. And to tell you the truth, I was actually already beginning to see that myself. I can't tell where it's coming from, but for some reason, I would really like for that kid to win her race. And not for me... But for herself!"

"I understand exactly what you mean. See...? You're definitely not a bad person at heart, and that's all that matters," Riku told him with a smile while his arms were folded over his chest.

"I guess there's nothing wrong with wanting the kid to win for the both of us, is there?" Ralph admitted after getting up.

"I don't see how," Riku replied. "Just remember, only you can make the choice."

~Riku ends~

"I've got it," Ralph assured him. "Come on, I think I kinda owe that kid a better pep talk."

"Heh, I'm right behind you," Riku returned, then they headed back to where the girl had her go kart parked.

The others all met each other in front of the car, and both Ralph and Vanellope seemed a lot happier.

Vanellope pulled down on her green shirt as Ralph went up to her, feeling a little nervous after what happened. Sora and Riku were quiet while they waited for the two to work things out.

"Hey, uh...kid," Ralph finally said in an awkward tone. "I want to know something... Do you still think you can do this race?"

"Totally, I know I can!" Vanellope eagerly replied. "Do you think I have a chance of winning...?" Sora and Riku held their breath as they waited for Ralph to answer.

"Ehh...a tiny one," Ralph told her, finding it hard to tell her anything other than the truth.

Surprisingly though, Vanellope rocketed up with excitement, saying, "Yes! I'm gonna win! I'm gonna win! I'm gonna win!" Sora and Riku both laughed while they watched her, then gave each other a satisfied look with a nod.

~Drops Of Poison plays (KH BBS OST)~

Some place in a hidden part of his castle, directly after being told by his two cops that they had failed to locate the glitch, Wreck It Ralph, and the two boys with strange weapons in their search, King Candy made his way into a secret room where all the data was gathered for the game Sugar Rush.

With a long red hose tied around his middle, King Candy floated his way over to the thousands of lit up boxes which were all connected by wires.

He stopped when he saw the data box with a trophy upon it that said 'Winner's Cup' on it.

With a couple taps he accessed it to reveal all the racers' entry coins, and spun the ring around until he found the one that resembled a medal.

He then pulled it out and drifted up to the data box with his own name on it, and after accessing its code he placed the tiny blue square holding the medal's data into the box to add it into his code.

With a flash of light, Ralph's medal Vanellope had borrowed for her entry fee appeared around his neck in its actual form!

With a big grin across his face, he began swimming through the vast space back to a small opening which he had come inside through. Leaving a purple data box with Vanellope's name on it to drift disconnected as sparks zapped around it, remaining distant from all the other codes.

Back in the Arcade, Donald and Goofy were getting more worried about Sora and Riku since the two of them still hadn't returned.

Even while the two of them felt helpless toward the whole situation, they made sure to keep a close eye on everything in the Arcade.

As Goofy was trying to look in through the screen on the very game Sora and Riku had been absorbed into, he looked hard to see if there was anyone on the other side. But he came up without any luck after seeing nothing but a dark turned off screen.

"You know, Donald..." Goofy started to say. "I'm getting really scared for those two. Why ain't they back yet?"

"Oh...I don't know, Goofy," Donald replied with a discouraged look. "There's no telling what kind of trouble the organization is up to right now either. What should we do...?"

Goofy was about to say something when they suddenly heard a dark corridor appearing behind them and they quickly turned around to look. "Uh, oh! It's the organization!" Goofy exclaimed.

~Organization VIII plays (KH II OST)~

They watched as a hooded figure stepped out of the Darkness, and then backed up as he started to walk towards them.

Goofy quickly brought out his Shield while Donald held out his Staff.

:Ansem/Xehanort's Heartless. "Well, this is certainly unexpected..." The cloaked man said from under his hood. "Tell me, where is your young friend? I have something for him."

"He's not here right now!" Donald returned bravely. "Why don't you turn back around and go back into the Darkness you came in!"

:Ansem/Xehanort's Heartless. "He really isn't here...? Is your king here with you then?"

"No, he's not," Goofy answered with his Shield in front of him. "Now you'd better leave, or we'll have to make you!"

:Ansem/Xehanort's Heartless. "You...? Hahaha. What can the two of you possibly do without a Keyblade bearer here to fight the battle for you? One Keyblade alone isn't even enough to defeat someone such as me. What do you cowards plan to do?

Goofy leaned down toward Donald and whispered, "Uh, Donald. Can we really stop 'em without Sora and Riku?"

"Ooh...I don't know..." Donald replied back quietly.

:Ansem/Xehanort's Heartless. "Who do you really think you're fooling? I am well aware you couldn't have come here without a Keyblade to guide you. So where is the one who brought you here? And you'd better hurry with the information I want. I am growing impatient!"

"What do we do now, Goofy?" Donald asked with his worried face.

"Be brave, Donald," Goofy told the nervous duck.

:Ansem/Xehanort's Heartless. "So...you really aren't going to tell me what I want? Hmm, how unfortunate for the two of you. I wonder...why is it you're hanging around this place...? Could it be that something happened, and not even you know where the Key has gone?"

"(Gasp!) Donald, how did he know?!" Goofy gasped.

"GOOFY, shhh!" Donald hushed him.

:Ansem/Xehanort's Heartless. "So, it's true then! You cannot tell me where he's gone because you yourselves don't even know. Or do you...? Hmph, I think I'll have a quick look around, seeing how there's no one here to stand in my way."

As the hooded man began walking around the Arcade Donald and Goofy watched him nervously, worried that a person connected to Xehanort might have a way of sensing where the two heroes were. But they weren't sure what to do, because they were afraid if they did try something it would give their location away.

However, when they saw the member of Organization XIII getting closer to the Fix It Felix Jr. game, something urged them to practically throw themselves at the arcade game without thinking about the consequences that might occur from their actions afterwards!

Donald and Goofy soon found themselves standing with their backs turned in front of the game, as if to block its view from whichever Xehanort the guy in black was.

This immediately caught the hooded man's attention as he looked over at them though!

:Ansem/Xehanort's Heartless. "Well, something seems to have made the two of you become unsettled all of a sudden. Let's see... Could it have something to do with what's behind you?"

"You can't trick us!" Donald shouted.

"We won't let you get anywhere near this here game!" Goofy added in, both of them appearing to be ready for a fight.

:Ansem/Xehanort's Heartless. "Now the two of you are just being impossible... And I will not stand for that!" The hooded man replied angrily as he lunged toward them with a ball of Darkness forming in his hand!

When he fired his Dark attack at them, Goofy quickly deflected it with his Shield, making it explode into smoke.

The hooded man than confronted them with his hands stretched out toward them.

Donald tried to stop him with his Thundaga spell, but the man from the Darkness already had gotten both of his hands around each of their necks!

:Ansem/Xehanort's Heartless. "GET OUT OF MY WAY!" He yelled at the two angrily as he pushed both of them back, knocking them down to the floor! "You fools will learn... Hmph, what is this machine...? And more importantly, what makes it so worth protecting from me that you'd put your lives on the line?"

As Xehanort looked the device over carefully, Donald and Goofy remained silent, not wanting to say anything else that they would later regret telling their enemy.

The hooded guy folded his arms as if to think...

:Ansem/Xehanort's Heartless. "It seems obvious that this holds some sort of connection to the one I seek... Why am I beginning to get the feeling the Key is somewhere inside this device?"

Donald and Goofy watched as the hooded man mysteriously went over to the side of the game box, both wondering what he could possibly be up to back there. Then they heard him start laughing to himself evilly, which made them really worried!

:Ansem/Xehanort's Heartless. "Here it is—the source leading all the way to the inside! If your friend being somewhere inside here is the case, I'll send him a little gift to tie him over until our next reunion." Holding his hand over the power cord, the guy in black conjured up some Darkness and sent it into the power line. The Darkness was successfully transferred into the cord, and soon the entire unit began to emit Darkness around it!

"No, stop!" Donald demanded him as he tried to get up.

"Don't do that! They may get trapped in there forever!" Goofy cried in horror.

:Ansem/Xehanort's Heartless. "'They'...? So there is more than one hero of the Keyblade inside this machine...? Even more satisfying!" The hooded man admitted as he continued forcing the Darkness into the power cord.

After Goofy had got back to his feet he threw his Shield at the hooded man to prevent him from using his Dark powers any longer!

His Shield spun directly into the unguarded Xehanort vessel, causing him to lose his concentration.

:Ansem/Xehanort's Heartless. "Hmph! Foolish move... But, I suppose it doesn't matter... That should've been more than enough to invade whatever data is inside."

"What?!" Donald shrieked.

"'Invade!'" Goofy exclaimed. "That's it! Now you're gonna have to deal with me!" Goofy pointed his Shield at him to attack, but the hooded guy managed to warp himself out of the way!

~Organization VIII ends~

Reappearing behind them, Xehanort summoned a Dark corridor to escape into, and soon there was nothing left behind but a fading Darkness.

Donald and Goofy exchanged troubled faces after the mysterious figure was gone, fearing that their friends could get trapped by the Darkness, preventing them from being able to return.

"Oh, Goofy... This is a catastrophe! Sora and Riku are in so much danger!" Donald cried hopelessly.

"Yeah, and how are we going to warn them?!" Goofy wondered with a worried quiver in his voice.

After helping Vanellope with some more practice runs, everyone all agreed she was ready, and it was almost time for the big race to begin.

They all made their way out of the cave to head over to the race arena while Ralph pushed the go kart out behind them. Vanellope couldn't have looked more excited!

"C'mon, guys! This is it— this is really happening!" She started saying as she kept flashing blue from her glitches. "I can't believe it!"

"Hey, haha! Take it easy. We wouldn't want you to get all tired out before your big race," Sora laughed while he watched her running around them, a little concerned about her glitches that were acting up.

"Ah... Hey, you're both going to be there too, right?" She asked Sora and Riku.

"We wouldn't miss it!" Sora replied as he playfully punched himself in the chest.

"Heh, Sora would enter the race in a second if he could, and if I'd let him," Riku added.

"Cool! I'd love to race with ya, you know...in real cars," Vanellope said with a smile. "Maybe next time."

"Sure, you can count on it!" Sora replied.

"Alright, everything's all ready to go, kid," Ralph told the girl. "Hop in, and let's get you to—!"

"Oh! Hold on! I forgot something! I'll be right back," Vanellope suddenly interrupted before dashing back into the mountain to get something.

"Okay! Hurry back," Sora called back to her.

Ralph rolled the go kart further along the road to have it all ready to depart. But after he stopped he saw a white race car parked ahead of him, and its driver walking towards him.

Riku walked over to Sora by Diet Cola Mountain, and by the look on his face Sora thought his friend looked troubled. "What's up, Riku?"

~Hesitation plays (KH II OST)~

"Something's not right... Can you sense anything strange?" Riku returned in his serious mood.

"Uh...not really. But now I'm getting a little worried... Hah, thanks a lot, Riku!"

"It sort of feels familiar... I hope it's not what I think it is," Riku stated as he looked down.

~Hesitation ends~

After Vanellope ran back to join the others she found Sora and Riku waiting outside. "Hey! I'm back, as promised!" The girl greeted after going up to them. "Uh, where's Ralph?"

"Huh?" Sora responded back to her, sounding a little distracted. "I think I saw him head over there."

"Well, come on! What are we waiting for!" Vanellope cried out excitedly as she hurried over to find Ralph with the two boys right behind her.

When they found him next to the car with his back turned the young girl hollered to him, "Hey, Ralphy!" As Ralph turned around he had a very sick look on his face.

"Everything okay?" Riku questioned.

"Uh...actually—" Ralph started to say when Vanellope suddenly ran up to him.

~Peaceful Hearts plays (KH BBS OST)~

"Wait, kneel down a sec," she told him.

"What?" Ralph asked completely dumbfounded.

"Just do it," she insisted until Ralph finally did as she requested. "Now, close your eyes."

Once Ralph closed his eyes Sora and Riku watched as the girl brought something out to put over his head.

Vanellope than stepped back and told him to open his eyes. The two young heroes smiled when they saw the heart cookie medal around his neck she had given him.

"To Stinkbrain..." Ralph read the writing out loud as he looked down at the cookie, making Sora and Riku laugh a little.

"Turn it over," Vanellope instructed him.

~Peaceful Hearts ends~

After Ralph flipped the heart over an even sicker look came over his face as he read, "You're my hero..."

"I made it for you just in case we don't win. Not that I think we're gonna lose or anything!" The girl said.

"Um, listen...I've been thinking, and... Well, I know it was fun building the car and everything, but maybe...you shouldnt do it," Ralph returned hesitantly.

"What?" Vanellope looked at him confused.

"Ralph, why are you saying that now?" Sora questioned.

"All I'm saying is she can't be a racer!" Ralph put in.

Vanellope lost her smile as she stared at him, then she noticed something shiny sticking out of his shirt. She quickly reached and pulled it out, revealing to everyone Ralph was hiding his hero's medal!

~Tears Of The Light plays (KH BBS OST)~

"(Gasp!)" Sora and Riku gasped.

"Where'd you get this?" The girl asked as she held it up.

"Look, kid, I'm gonna be straight with you... I've been talking to King Candy—"

"King Candy?!" Vanellope repeated in shock.

"Ralph, what did you do?" Sora added in the confusion.

"That king has been against us ever since we've been here," Riku reminded.

"You don't understand!" Ralph pleaded for them to listen.

"I understand, traitor! But it doesn't matter, I can race without you," the girl spoke up as she was about to go to her car, flashing blue from glitches.

"No, you won't," Ralph returned as he reached for her. "Listen to me, I'm trying to save you! If the players see you glitching they're gonna think the game is broken! And—"

"No, you're lying!" Vanellope exclaimed once his hands were around her. "Let me go! Put me down!"

Sora and Riku weren't sure what to do about Ralph as they watched him carry her over to a lollipop tree. But after Ralph hung the girl upon the candy tree above the ground that persuaded them to try to intervene!

"Ralph, wait! What are you doing?!" Sora called for him to stop.

"We can work this out another way...!" Riku broke in.

Ralph turned around to face the two Keyblade wielders as they approached him, "You guys have to trust me, it's for her own good!"

"RALPH! GET ME DOWN! I HAVE TO RACE!" Vanellope cried while dangling from the lollipop tree.

~Tears Of The Light ends~

"I don't know why you're acting like this all of a sudden, but we aren't going to let you do this!" Riku told him.

"Then I have no choice... I'm sorry...!" Ralph said to the two boys as he held his large hands in front of them.

"But, Ralph—!" Sora tried to say when Ralph suddenly knocked them both back with a strong shove! "Whuh!"

"Nagh!" Riku heaved as he fell to the ground with Sora.

Ralph hurried over to the go kart they built while they were both down, then he made two fists above the car. Vanellope cried for him to stop, but Ralph ignored her as he hammered down on the car, smashing it into bits!

"NOOOO!" STOP!" The girl screamed at him.

"H-hold on, Ralph!" Sora pleaded as he tried to get up.

But once Sora and Riku had got to their feet the go kart already looked unrepairable from Ralph's smashing, leaving them to watch helplessly in shock as Ralph finished completely destroying it.

Sora sighed as he and Riku frowned at the sight.

Vanellope kept struggling until she had finally gotten herself down from the tree, lying face down on the ground with tears forming in her eyes.

After Ralph stopped everyone was quiet as he turned to look at them with a sad look.

Vanellope looked up at him as she stood up,"You really are a bad guy." Then she ran back to the mountain without another word. Sora reached out to stop her but she passed by too fast.

"What were you thinking...?" Sora said with an angry look. "Have you gone nuts?!"

"I thought you wanted to help her," Riku added as he looked at Ralph.

"I do! Trust me, I did it to protect her—!" Ralph tried to explain when they suddenly heard a girl scream!

~Extreme Encounters plays (KH BBS OST)~

"What?!" Sora said with surprise as they all looked back to see Vanellope surrounded by an ambush of Shadows outside the cave!

"Help! Somebody help! Aah!" She cried for help as they closed in around her.

"Heartless?! They're here—?" Sora questioned in amazement.

"Come on, she needs help!" Riku said as he brought out his Key.

"Yeah," Sora nodded after summoning his Keyblade, too.

As they ran to rescue the girl Ralph figured it would be best if he left while he had the chance, seeing how it didn't look like anything he said would help the others to understand his actions.

He ran the opposite direction with his medal in hand.

"Hang on, Vanellope!" Sora called as he and Riku confronted the Heartless to save her.

Riku slashed through the grouped Shadows with a few quick slices. Sora attacked the Heartless in front of the girl by swinging down on them with strong blows.

Vanellope watched them in amazement as the Heartless were vanquished into smoke.

As they defeated them more came up from the ground by the Darkness!

"Hurry, go wait for us over there until it's safe!" Sora told the frightened girl.

Vanellope hurried away from the monsters to wait for them on the other side of the mountain, thinking it to be safer.

Sora and Riku continued attacking the Shadows that were coming in numbers.

"Stay back!" Riku called out as he hit the Shadows with his pearls of Light he shot from his Keyblade, while Sora charged into the Heartless.

~Extreme Encounters ends~

After they had finished defeating the Heartless Sora and Riku dismissed their Keys and gave each other a puzzled look. "Where did those come from?" Sora wondered.

"I'm not sure. We haven't seen them in the game once our entire time here. It doesn't make sense," Riku replied. "I guess that explains the dark presence I felt a little while ago. It must've been the Heartless."

"But h-how did they get here in the game?"

"No idea... We'll just have to stay more alert from here on, until we find out who's responsible. Though...I think I've got a good idea who."

"Hey, we'd better go look for Vanellope. I think I saw her run toward the other side."

"Okay," Riku nodded as he was about to follow him when he remembered Ralph, but soon found he was no where to be seen. "Hmm, I wonder where he is..."

"RIKU!" He heard Sora suddenly call out.

Riku quickly hurried over to Sora to see what was wrong. "What is it, Sora?"

"She's not here, look! All that's left are these tracks," Sora pointed out.

"Yeah... It looks like they're heading toward that castle over there, too. I wonder if Ralph knows anything about this..."

"What are you talking about? Isn't he—?"

"Gone. It looks like he left while we were battling the Heartless..."

"Man, I can't believe that guy...! He totally ruined that go kart we all worked together to make!"

"I know... It doesn't make sense."

"Riku, these tracks look like they might've come from a car, which means that king could be responsible for this."

"We'd better follow them then, and fast!"

"Right," Sora agreed. The two heroes quickly followed the tracks leading to the castle.

Ralph was just getting off the train as he arrived back in his own game to return home.

He deeply regretted what he had done, but at the same time believed it was the best thing he could do for the poor girl after what he heard from King Candy.

He made his way up to the top floor of the penthouse, wondering where everybody was.

After going through a big door he found Gene standing behind a counter with a very long face.

When Gene saw the medal around Ralph's neck he said, "So you actually did it."

"Where is everyone?"

"Moved out. After you left the game was considered broken, and has been out of order ever since."

"I didn't want this..."

"Well what did you want then?

"I don't know..."

"Well, it doesn't matter. Litwak's pulling our plug in the morning. The penthouse is yours. Here's the key," Gene said before leaving with his suitcase.

After Ralph was the only one left in the game he stepped out on the balcony to stare up at the Out of Order paper stuck to the other side of the screen.

Angry at himself, Ralph removed his hero's medal and threw it at the glass screen, knocking the paper loose about half way.

As he looked passed the screen into the actual Arcade he could see the Sugar Rush game console directly across from him, and looking at it carefully he noticed a large picture of Vanellope painted on the side of the unit.

This took him by surprise, for if she was a character who was never meant to exist, why would her picture be decorating the game console?

Starting to get the feeling what King Candy told him about her wasn't true, Ralph quickly made his way back to the train to Game Central Station.

As Sora and Riku approached the royal castle doors after letting the tracks they found lead them there they stopped on the welcome mat to figure out what they should do next.

From the looks of things no one was guarding the outside of the castle, so they had time to consider their strategy.

"That king and his body guards didn't look so tough. I think we can take them!" Sora said.

"So what's your plan to get inside, knock and see if anyone's at home?" Riku replied sarcastically.

"Well, that is the best way to get their attention, isn't it?"

As Sora walked up to the door Riku placed his hand over his head and shook it in disbelief.

After Sora tried the door to see if it would just open he found it was locked.

Turning back to his friend Sora shrugged with his arms up, then he turned back to give the big door a few loud knocks.

"SORA!" Riku tried to stop him.

"Don't worry... I'm sure we can handle—!" Sora stopped when the door opened.

"Yes...?" A tiny green sourball answered after opening the door. "(Gasp!) It's you!"

"Yeah, and there won't be any trouble if you tell us where you're keeping Vanellope," Riku assured Sourbill with a serious look.

Before either of them could get another word in Sourball quickly pulled down on a lever next to him which caused a trap door to appear as the welcome mat where they stood suddenly dropped open.

"Aagh!" The two heroes screamed as they fell below without a warning!

Sora and Riku fell a long ways down until they both landed on their front sides with a thump on a cell floor, while Riku lied on top of a squished Sora.

"Ugh... Uh, Riku, can't get up here!" Sora complained to his friend while he was still over top of him.

"Huh? Oh, sorry about that," Riku said as he got off to help his friend.

Sora shook his head as he lifted himself. "What just happened?" Riku gave him a hand to pull him back up.

"I think WE just fell into some kind of trap. It looks like we're in some kind of prison..."

"A prison?" Sora repeated, sounding confused.

When he felt someone was standing behind him, Sora looked back and found a short man wearing a blue cap on his head facing them. "Who are you?" Sora asked.

"Oh my... It looks like you poor boys got arrested, too. The name is Felix—Fix It Felix Jr. I've been locked in this strange place for some time now... Ooh, this is all that no good Wreck it Ralph's fault!"

"Ralph?!" Sora said with surprise.

"So you're Felix, huh? We heard that you left your World—I mean game to go find him," Riku remembered.

"Oh yeah!" Sora added after it all came back to him.

"You mean you've heard of me? Huh..." Felix returned a bit surprised.

"Can you tell us more about Ralph, and why he felt like leaving in the first place?"

"You see, he is SUPPOSED to be the villain who always starts trouble for everybody in our game—which is a matter of fact named after me. Everything was just fine and dandy. At least, that's what we all thought...until Ralph decided to go Turbo on us..."

"Turbo...? What's that mean?" Sora questioned.

"Hm, I guess you two must be from a game that just got plugged in, too—just like...! Well, never mind. I suppose I've got time to tell you the whole story..." Sora and Riku listened closely as Felix went on...

~Villains of a Sort plays (KH OST)~

"Back when the Arcade first opened, Turbotime was by far the most popular game. And Turbo loved the attention. Then, when Roadblasters got plugged in and stole Turbo's players he became jealous! So jealous that he abandoned his game and tried to take over the new one. In the end, Turbo put both games, and himself out of business for good. And no one has ever seen him since... So Turbo is what we call the ones who decide to leave their games... Considering they're crazy enough to do it!"

"Wow... I can't say I really understood all that, but it sounds terrible," Sora said after hearing the story.

"Wait—your game is the one with the orange paper stuck to it, isn't it?" Riku asked.

"Yeah... That's why I went looking for Ralph," Felix replied.

"So it's because he's missing that the game is said to be broken... Now I get why those people looked so worried. If you don't find him in time, your game will..." Riku paused.

"That's right. It'll be unplugged and removed from the Arcade, leaving the ones living there to move out completely homeless... Including me! But you say you talked to some of the Nicelanders?"

"A little bit... Yeah," Riku replied.

"Felix, if you find Ralph before your game gets shut down, everything will be okay, right?" Sora inquired, feeling concerned about the game.

"Well, sure. That is, if we're not already too late," Felix answered. "And it doesn't help that I haven't had any luck finding him... Things just haven't been turning out good for me, lately."

"Except, we found the one you're looking for," Riku told him. "We've been trying to help him since we got here, but things sort of got complicated..."

"What do you mean? Where is he?" Felix asked.

"We don't know... He took off after going on this crazy rampage," Sora replied.

"That's him alright," Felix confirmed.

"I'm glad we found you, but we really need to get out of here. We think the one we came to save is somewhere in this castle," Riku said looking around the jail cell.

"I wish I could help, but all I know how to do is fix things...thanks to this magic hammer," Felix replied as he help up his hammer. "I tried busting my way out of here, but all I did was make it even harder to break!"

"Hey, no worries. All we have to do is use our Keyblades. We'll have that door open in a jiff," Sora assured him.

"You'll use your what now..?" Felix looked confused before Sora brought out his Key. "Whaaah! In what game did that thing come from?! Who are you two?"

"We're Sora, and Riku," Sora introduced him and his friend. "But there's no time to explain everything! We need to hurry!

(CRASH!)

Sora, Riku and Felix jumped with surprise when the jail wall suddenly busted open! They couldn't believe their eyes when they saw Ralph step in through the hole!

"What are you two doing here?" Ralph asked when he saw Sora and Riku.

"Ralph!" Felix cried as he jumped onto him with a big hug. "Wait! What am I doing...?"

After Felix hopped off while looking upset, Ralph pulled into the cell a large can filled with all the broken pieces of Vanellope's go kart which he dumped on the floor. "Felix, please, you have to fix this for me!" Ralph said desperately.

"Is that...?" Sora wondered as he looked at all the broken pieces.

"Yes! When I heard from that green sour ball that Felix was locked in here after I got the truth out of him, I hurried over as fast as I could! Please, fix it, Felix!" Ralph insisted.

"Why should I fix anything for you, Ralph?" Felix returned stubbornly. "Do you have any idea what you put me through?! I've been every where looking for you! I almost drowned in chocolate milk mix! ...Then, I met the most dynamite gal... She gives me—!"

"I hate to interrupt, but I think this can wait," Riku spoke up. "We don't have any time to spare. We are in some kind of dungeon, after all."

"Riku's right. Vanellope might be in real trouble!" Sora added.

"That's why I came back! Everything that king told me was a lie! The kid is supposed to be a racer! That selfish king made me think if Vanellope finishes the race she'll be available for the gamers to use as their avatar... And he said the bad thing about that is if the players saw her glitching in the game they'd think the game is broken—and have to unplug it! He even told me if that happened, not only would the people in the game be homeless—but Vanellope would be trapped in the game since she's a glitch...and she'd disappear with the game! He really had me fooled when he said he was doing it all to protect the kid... I can't believe I fell for it...!" Ralph explained to them. "But guess what...? It turns out that King Candy is responsible for the whole mess! He's even the one who caused Vanellope to lose her spot as a racer when he switched their codes!"

"Wow...!" Sora said with a blown away look on his face.

"We could've told you not to trust that king," Riku replied.

"You should've just talked to us right from the beginning—instead of just smashing things. We could've helped," Sora pointed out.

"I know... I was so wrong!" Ralph admitted.

"I'll say! Because of you I even got locked up in jail! Do you have any idea what it feels like to be rejected and treated like a criminal?" Felix questioned him

"Yes I do... That's every day of my life," Ralph replied, making Felix look uncomfortable. "Which is the whole reason why I left—I was trying to be a good guy, but I'm not! I'm just a bad guy! And I need your help. There's a little girl who's only hope is this kart. Please, Felix, fix it!"

"Ralph..." Sora frowned after listening.

"I promise...I'll never try to be good again," Ralph promised, then with an understanding smile, Felix held up his gold hammer and walked over to the torn up kart to repair it.

"I know things may look bad now, but you don't have to give up on everything that matters to you, Ralph," Riku said quietly, feeling bad for him. "There's still time to fix everything."

"Whoa!" Sora exclaimed after watching Felix fix the broken kart in just one hit with his magic hammer.

"Thanks, Felix," Ralph smiled at him. "Let's go."

Sora looked at the giant hole in the brick wall, "Eh heh heh, looks like we won't be needing our Keyblades to get out of here."

After making their way out of the jail cell they walked through the king's Fungeon in search of the little girl.

When they found a metal door that said 'Glitch' on it, Ralph stepped up to it with his fists ready.

"Wait, Ralph. I think you've done enough wrecking for us... Why not take a break and let me or Riku open it," Sora offered.

"Fine. Let's see what you can do, kid," Ralph agreed.

Sora grinned at him and brought out his Key. Then facing the door, he held his Keyblade in front of the door, and with a shot of Light the door unlocked.

"Impressive," Felix commented him and his Key.

~Ever After plays (KH 3D OST)~

Ralph opened the door while pushing the car in, and there sat poor Vanellope, all chained up in the middle of the cell room which was marked Fungeon.

After the girl saw her kart was whole again she looked up at Ralph, and instead of looking happy to see him, she just stayed quiet as she scowled at him.

"Hey, kid... I should never have busted up your kart like I did. I was wrong... I feel terrible for what I did," Ralph told her. "I'm sorry..."

"And...?" Vanellope said as she gave him a funny look.

"I'm a stinkbrain...?" Ralph admitted sounding unsure.

"The stinkiest brain ever..." The girl finally smiled. "Wait, did you come alone...? Where's—"

"Right here!" Sora spoke up as he and Riku stepped inside. "You didn't think we were just going to leave you, did ya?"

"After we discovered you'd been captured we've been following a trail we found all the way to you," Riku added with a nod.

~Ever After ends~

"You guys are the best!" She said happily. "Now how about getting these chains off of me so I can get to that race..."

"I'm on it!" Sora replied holding up his Key.

"Wow...WOW! That was amazing!" Vanellope cried after Sora used his power to free her.

"Yep! With a team like this there's no way you won't win your race, kid," Ralph smiled at everybody.

After they escaped from the seemingly empty castle through the same openings Ralph had made on his trip there, they hurried to the race arena in hopes of making it in time.

When they finally got there they quickly discovered the race had already begun, while Vanellope's entry on the board had turned red as a no show.

As Vanellope drove her car up to the starting line Ralph said, "Remember, you don't have to win. Just cross the finish line and you'll be a real racer."

I'm already a real racer. And I'm going to win," Vanellope replied confidently.

"Good luck out there," Riku told her.

"We all believe in you," Sora added with a smile.

"Thanks, Spike-head. You too, Ri-ku!" She said before stepping on the gas pedal to dash off to join the race in sixteenth place. Her entry flashed blue again after she crossed the starting line, adding her back into the race.

After the dust had cleared up around them, Sora gave Riku a funny look, "Aw, c'mon... How come she gets your name right and not mine?"

"Heh, too bad, Sora. I guess there's just no silly nickname that suits me. Hahaha!" Riku joked.

"Heeey, thanks a lot!" Sora said as he made a fist.

"Man! Look at that kid go! She's already made it up to seventh place," Ralph pointed out excitedly as he watched the board.

"Well, she did say she came here to win," Sora returned, putting his hands behind his head playfully.

Sora looked up at the big monitor displaying the racers and saw Vanellope dodging around rolling gumballs. "Oh man! I sure wish I could've raced, too! Looks fun!"

Riku made no comment as he went into his serious mood and looked down to think, starting to sense that disturbing feeling again.

Ralph stared up at the monitor with wide eyes when he saw Vanellope moving up a spiral cake road, about to catch up to some of the racers he'd seen teasing her.

"Okay, that's not good..." Ralph said when the screen showed cherry bombs exploding around the girl.

~Apprehension plays (KH II OST)~

Vanellope drove faster from the exploding cherries as she made it to the speed tunnel at the top. But after getting passed the bombs, her glitches began acting up, and she soon found herself driving in reverse ahead of the other three racers.

The three racers who always picked on her screamed as they drove out of control!

Luckily Vanellope made it to the other side of the road after being rocketed out of the tunnel, but the other racers weren't as fortunate as they dropped down into a giant cupcake.

"Okay...keep it under control. No more glitching..." Vanellope told herself as she continued racing along the rainbow road.

Ralph looked up to see she was now in second place and said, "Alright, kid let's finish this thing without anymore surprises—!"

Ralph stopped when an ambush of Heartless appeared on the finish line, all being Shadows and Neoshadows!

Sora and Riku turned their attention to the Heartless.

"I thought it was them," Riku admitted.

Just as the two heroes were getting ready to attack the Heartless an explosion suddenly came out of the ground, knocking the Heartless into the air as a swarm of purple Cy-bugs flew out through the hole!

"W-what are those things?!" Sora gasped. "More Heartless?"

Suddenly a fist clad in armor punched Ralph in the face! "Oow!" He yelled in pain as he was knocked to the ground, rubbing his oversized chin. Sora and Riku stood in astonishment when they saw an angry lady in armor standing over Ralph.

~Apprehension ends~

"I hope your happy! This game is going down, and it's all your fault!" Calhoun yelled at the wrecking guy.

"My lady, you came back!" Felix jumped up and said, overjoyed to see her again.

"Not now, Fix It!" She returned sharply as she went on blaming Ralph. "That Cy-bug you brought MULTIPLIED!"

"WHAT?!" Ralph responded in disbelief.

Calhoun stopped when she saw black shadowy figures crawling around them. "Wait—what are these?!

"Heartless," Sora answered as he quickly went up to her.

Calhoun made an even angrier scowl as she stomped closer to the spiky haired boy, but stopped when she suddenly saw one of the Cy-bugs confront one of the Shadows and eat it!

This caused the virus to transform into a darker purple as its green eyes turned into a yellow glow, allowing it to become one with the ground while moving like a black shadow!

Calhoun was even angrier as she faced him, and without a warning she lunged at Sora and knocked him in the face with her fist! "Gnah!" Sora screamed as he fell back from taking the hard blow dead on! Riku gasped at the sight.

"Friends of yours, I take it?" Calhoun asked the boy about the monsters after taking action first.

"Ughh..." Sora sat up half way and held his cheek, then he looked up at the female Sergeant with his hands shaking out in front of him. "No, no! You've got it all wrong! They're not with us!"

Riku jumped in to defend his friend, "Hey, what's the big idea punching my best friend down like that? You never even gave him a chance to explain!"

"So, you're with him, huh? Maybe you know how those monsters got here then..." Calhoun said, about ready to turn on Riku next.

"Look here, these monsters came here from the Darkness, and my friend and I are the only ones who know how to stop them! That's what we're here for," Riku explained with a serious look in his bright, turquoise eyes.

"Hmph, alright. You're lucky then... Because seeing how I don't feel like slugging you, I guess I'll have to take your word on that, tough guy," Calhoun replied with an awkward look on her face the longer she stared at the older Keyblade wielder.

"That seems fair," Riku admitted, then he turned back to help Sora up while Calhoun backed away with a stunned expression on her face.

"Agh... What did you have to go and clobber me for?" Sora complained as he stood up. "I could've told you all that, too."

"Sorry about that, kid... I guess I just didn't see the same thing in you I saw in your friend here," Calhoun replied with a shrug.

"What does THAT mean?" Sora asked confused.

"Wish we had time for this chit-chat, but the truth is I've got my hands full right now with more important things," the Sergeant said as she tossed down her bag to get her cruiser board ready for take off. "And now with these other monsters on the loose, things are just gonna get messier around here. Did you two decide to recklessly desert your game, too? Do these things come from your game?"

"Not exactly," Riku returned.

"Well, do you know what they're capable of? I need to know what I'll be up against here! As these Cy-bugs devour things, they become what they eat!"

~Apprehension plays (KH II OST)~

"(Gasp!) Seriously?!" Sora gasped with surprise. "Heartless go after people's hearts! Does that mean those bugs will do that too?!"

"Monsters that attack hearts?! I didn't think things could get worse, but this just turned into DOOMS DAY times TWO!" Calhoun said in a panic as she pulled out her blaster from its holster.

"We'll help, too," Riku volunteered as he brought out his Keyblade. "You don't have to handle it alone.

"Yeah! We'll just get rid of the Heartless before the bugs do. No problem!" Sora said after summoning his Key.

Ralph approached them after running from a Heartless, "How's that kid supposed to finish her race with all this going on? I-I want to help, too! What else am I better at than smashing things, right?"

"Fine! But keep in mind, if you die outside your game there's no coming back. Watch yourselves out there! I'm going to try to get everyone out of this game safely. With all these Cy-bugs here this Sugar game won't last long." Calhoun told them as she hopped on her cruiser and took off to shoot the bugs down.

"Please be careful, Ralph. I'm not going back without you," Felix told Ralph as he went to take cover.

~Apprehension ends~

"Riku, that looks like a bunch of Heartless... About what Master Yen Sid mentioned..." Sora looked at Riku to hear what he thought.

"It'll be fine... We can't let them take over this game," Riku replied.

"Right. Here goes...!" Sora said before charging toward the Heartless and Cy-bugs.

~Vim and Vigor plays (KH II OST)~

Riku quickly moved in on a group of Neoshadows, wanting to eliminate the threat before the bugs could get to them.

His Keyblade sliced right into them, causing them to disappear.

Sergeant Calhoun hovered above the ground, firing at the Cy-bugs that were trying to consume the Heartless!

Ralph punched down on the Shadows with his big fists to help get rid of them.

When Sora caught sight of a Cy-bug flying in towards the Heartless he was attacking he sprang himself in the air and performed an aerial slash at it.

He was relieved to see the bug disappear once it was eliminated by his attacks, now knowing that his Keyblade could also vanquish the Cy-bugs.

"That got 'em!" Sora said after finishing the bug.

Strangely the Cy-bugs appeared to be drawn to the Heartless as they relentlessly went after them. And after a Heartless was consumed by one, all of its powers were passed on to the bug, giving them the ability to sink into the ground with the Darkness.

"H-yah!" Riku attacked down on the Heartless with multiple swings.

After Sora finished defeating a large group of Heartless, he turned around to see a small Shadow standing alone a little ways behind him. As he looked closer he saw a large Cy-bug sneaking up on it!

"No you don't...!" Sora exclaimed while running to get to the Shadow before the virus bug could.

When he got there, the Cy-bug managed to swoop down right behind the Shadow, and before Sora could stop it the Heartless was snatched up by it! "Ah! That's not good!" Sora said feeling worried.

Right before his eyes the bug transformed into something bigger, darker and scarier!

Sora went into his battle stance to take on the Shadow-bug.

When he was about to attack the large bug jumped at him, pushing the young hero with it through the air until he hit the side rail from the stands!

The Shadow-bug had him pinned up against the stands as it tried to get through his Keyblade to absorb his power by devouring him.

"Tgh, get off...!" Sora told the bug as it's pinching claws were grabbing at him.

Sora used all his strength to push against the bug with his Key until he finally sent the transformed Cy-bug back away from him.

Being free, he quickly jumped up and slashed down on the bug with his Keyblade, defeating it with a single blow!

"Okay, that was a close one!" Sora admitted after the bug vanished, then he ran back to attack the rest of the Heartless. "Not done yet...!"

Ralph took a break after crushing a Heartless with his fist to check the monitor to see how Vanellope was doing. He was relieved to see her coming up on King Candy through the Sundae Mountain pass.

He was amazed to see her actually take first place after passing the king!

"Come on, kid... You're almost there," Ralph said hopefully.

A Cy-bug which had been consuming parts of the Sugar Rush game fluttered up the Finish sign, catching Ralph's attention as it landed on top of it.

He was beginning to worry there wouldn't be a finish line left for Vanellope to cross when she got there.

~Go Go Rumble Racers plays (KH BBS OST)~

Some where along the race course, Vanellope was making her way down a narrow, colorful track through a cave while still in the lead. She smiled as she went down the long slide, feeling more confident about winning the race.

~Go Go Rumble Racers ends~

As she kept driving smoothly toward the cave's exit, King Candy came out of no where after taking a short cut and ran into her kart, causing it to spin backwards while the front end got caught on the king's kart.

Vanellope tried to get her kart off of his to turn back around but it wouldn't budge!

~No Time To Think plays (KH OST)~

"I forbid you to cross that finish line!" King Candy yelled as he stepped out of his seat to attack her with a pole that had three horns on it, which he ripped off of his kart.

"Aah!" The girl screamed as he broke her windshield with his attacks! "Knock it off!"

Trying to protect the finish line from the swarm of Cy-bugs, Ralph tossed, bashed and punched at the bugs, taking them all out one by one.

Being well equipped when it came to fixing things, Felix was on top of the finish sign to repair any damage from the bugs.

~No Time To Think ends~

As he looked at what was going on through the screen, Felix suddenly called down to Ralph, "Look!"

~Courage plays (KH II OST)~

Ralph looked up to see King Candy attacking the little girl's kart like a mad man!

Sora and Riku who were still fighting the Cy-bugs and Heartless threat looked to see what was happening when they saw Ralph staring up at the screen.

"Oh no, looks like she's in trouble!" Sora pointed out while running over to Ralph.

They all watched with surprise as Vanellope was shown flashing blue while trying to stop the crazy king. Strangely, King Candy started to flash red while she fought back, and his own appearance began to change!

"What's going on?" Sora wondered.

"NO WAY! It's Turbo!..." Ralph cried in shock after King Candy suddenly turned into Turbo, the avatar from the oldest racing game ever to be played in the Arcade.

"That's really him?" Riku questioned.

Everyone watching gasped when they saw Turbo flip Vanellope's kart on its side from bringing the speed up on his car after climbing back in.

The girl was helplessly being pushed toward a pointy rock dividing the cave!

"Guys, we have to do something!" Sora said.

"I wish we could... But how?" Riku returned.

As Vanellope was getting closer to the rock, she began concentrating all her focus on the only thing she could do to get away. "Okay...this is it. If you want to make it back to your friends then now's the time to do it..." She whispered to herself.

As a flash of light surrounded her, Vanellope vanished right before crashing into the rock and teleported ahead to safety, using her glitches to help her escape!

~Courage ends~

This took King Candy/Turbo by surprise as he headed straight for the pointed rock. He skidded his car to the side while managing to avoid crashing.

As he continued driving out of the cave, a Shadow-bug with glowing, yellow eyes suddenly dropped right in front of him, catching him inside its mouth!

"She made it!" Ralph cried happily after seeing her grand escape on the monitor.

"Yes!" Sora said with a grin.

They could see Vanellope driving closer toward the finish line where they were waiting for her.

However, while they had been busy worrying about the young girl, more Heartless had time to appear, and the bugs hadn't stopped eating everything in the game!

Ralph waved at the girl excitedly, hoping she'd make it to the finish while it was still there. "Come on, kid! Almost there!" Ralph called out.

~An Intense Situation plays (KH OST)~

When Riku saw a couple Shadows crawl passed him he quickly alerted Sora to look behind him. "Sora! The Heartless are still coming! Watch out!"

Sora looked back to see a Neoshadow sneaking up on him, "A-haa!" He yelled as he swung his Key across it.

From the looks of things, more Heartless had been absorbed by the Cy-bugs, for there were three large shadows moving down the road toward Vanellope!

When Sora and Riku saw the shadowy bugs moving in they went after them!

As Vanellope dashed up the road to finish the race multiple explosions of Cy-bugs came shooting up from the ground around her!

The quake caused her kart to roll unsteady, making it easier for the Shadow-bugs Sora and Riku were chasing to catch up to her as they moved beneath the ground!

When the Shadow-bugs suddenly popped out from the ground in front of Vanellope her kart was flipped into the air, knocking the kart off the road and onto the side with a crash into a row of lollipops sticking out of the ground.

Ralph and Felix went running over to see if she was alright.

"Riku, you take them from that side, and I'll take them from this side!" Sora called to his friend to take down the Shadow-bugs now that they were open for attacks.

"I'm on it!" Riku replied, running to the side of the bugs to stop them from getting to the girl.

~An Intense Situation ends~

Together, Sora and Riku cut across the front of the bugs, both landing on opposite sides. "H-yaah!" They exclaimed together, and all three of the Shadow-bugs disintegrated into black smoke.

Riku and Sora nodded at each other, then they hurried over to Vanellope while the other two were just catching up.

"Kid, you okay?" Ralph asked after he approached the girl.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Let's finish this race!" Vanellope replied.

"I think that may be a problem..." Riku said while pointing toward the finish line.

They couldn't believe their eyes when they saw hundreds of overpowered Cy-bugs take down the whole finish sign!

The entire area was surrounded by Heartless and bugs!

"No... And after doing everything we could..." Sora moaned with disappointment.

~Missing You plays (KH II OST)~

"What are those black things? They're the same things that attacked me before..." Vanellope said confused.

Sora looked at the girl with a sad look... "Those are what my friends and I battle against...where we come from."

R-really?" The girl asked.

"Yeah. And there's one more thing...Riku and me, we came here from a different World—one that can't be found in this World..." Sora confessed.

"Huh?"

"We really came from outside of your Game World...by accident. That's why we've never told you the name of our game. We don't actually have one. I wanted to tell you... Those monster you see are called Heartless, and they came here from the World we live in."

"I don't believe it... You two are...gamers?"

"Um, I guess you could call us that."

~Missing You ends~

"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Let me get this straight... You guys come from out there—on the other side of the screen?" Ralph tried to understand. "Well, I guess that would explain why no one has ever heard or you before—and why you carry those weird swords, too!"

"Yeah. That's right. We didn't think it was a good idea to tell anybody—you know, not wanting to start trouble," Riku replied.

"But you all aren't just anybody anymore... You're our friends!" Sora smiled at them. "We feel we can really trust all of you."

"We're...friends?" Vanellope uttered to herself. "I...have friends now."

"Yep!" Sora nodded.

Without saying a word, Ralph suddenly picked up the girl and headed up the rainbow road for the game's exit!

Felix ran after him while Sora stared back at the sight of all the bugs.

"I know you want to help, but there's nothing more we can do here, Sora. Come on!" Riku told his friend.

Sora let out a sigh and nodded, "Okay..." Then he turned away to follow Riku and the others.

Calhoun was busy keeping the crowd of candy inhabiters safe while shooting at the bugs to hold them back as they ran through the exit.

Ralph carried Vanellope on his shoulder as he ran toward the way out.

Sora and Riku came to a halt when Vanellope was roughly thrown back from the field around the exit that kept her from leaving after Ralph made it through!

"What's wrong?" Sora asked her.

~Scent of Silence plays (KH CoM OST)~

"It's like I told you—I can't leave the game!" She replied.

"But—!" Sora looked back at the game World that was once covered with candy but was now just an empty wasteland with a dark cloudy sky.

"Alright, that's everyone. Now we've gotta blow up this exit!" Calhoun said.

"What?! But—you can't do that!" Sora returned quickly.

"There's nothing else we can do, Key-boy. Without a beacon there's no way to stop those monsters!" Calhoun told Sora.

Vanellope looked Ralph in the eyes, "It's okay, Ralph. Just go..."

Ralph gave the girl the most saddest look he has ever shown. Sora and Riku looked down after hearing the brave girl as they tried really hard to think of some way they could help her.

But then an idea came to Ralph as his face slowly lit up...

~Scent of Silence ends~

"A beacon..." Ralph uttered to himself.

"Huh...?" Sora looked at him confused until Ralph suddenly jumped aboard Calhouns cruiser and took off toward the rainbow path to Diet Cola Mountain. "Uh! Ralph, wait!"

"I can't! I've got some wrecking to do!" Ralph yelled back as he hovered away.

"Riku! We can't let him go alone..." Sora said, looking back at his older friend.

Then Sora noticed a Shadow-bug crawling towards everyone in front of the exit along with the other Cy-bugs, and thinking about the Heartless back in Yen Sid's tower he wondered if now would be a good time test their theory, even if it didn't turn out to be an easy task.

Riku stared at his friend with surprise as he watched him run up to a large Cy-bug who had taken on a Shadow's abilities. "What is he doing...?" Riku wondered.

As Sora got closer to the Shadow-bug whose only nature was to consume everything in its path and seek after people's hearts, due to it also having the mind of a Heartless, he started to feel unsure about doing what he had in mind.

For if he let his guard down before it he had a good idea of what it would do to him!

But taking risks didn't matter when it came to helping his friends. He knew he had to try!

"There's no other way for me to get over... I have to try!" Sora told himself determinedly as he came to a halt.

"What, is he crazy?! That bug will chew him up like a light snack!" Calhoun yelled when she saw the young hero standing up to the bug without a weapon. Riku watched his friend nervously, trying his hardest to believe Sora had some kind of plan.

The Shadow-bug focused its yellow eyes upon Sora as he stopped in front of it.

By the looks of it, the bug was about ready to attack!

Sora looked up at its glowing eyes, trying not to let any fear show through him.

With his hand over his heart Sora said nothing, but just concentrated as he looked down and closed his eyes. This made Riku really worried!

The Shadow-bug opened and closed its pinching claws in front of it.

"Please, just listen..." Sora began speaking calmly to the Heartless-bug with no heart inside it. "You don't have to do anything. I know what you're after...I think—and I want to help you. I will figure out a way...trust me. But right now, I could really use your help! If you do this for me, I will figure out a way to save you—and all the rest! Just help me out this one time...?"

Once Ralph reached the top of the cola mountain he leaped off the cruiser and landed on top of the white Mentos which covered the volcano-type mountain.

He then slammed his fists down into the white candies, trying to get them to all break apart and fall into the steaming cola spring beneath him.

Sora looked back up at the bug to await its decision, considering his words got through to the Heartless he was trying to contact. But the Shadow-bug's eyes suddenly flashed to a green color, as if it were turning into a Cy-bug completely!

Sora did not move though as he kept his eyes locked onto the bug's.

Then, the Shadow-bug suddenly leaped at Sora with an attack, more than likely to devour him!

"(Gasp!)" Sora gasped as he held his arm up to protect himself, realizing he'd made a big mistake...until suddenly, a burst of Light flashed around him, leaving his Keyblade to appear in his hand! "Huh...?"

Riku couldn't see what was going on as he ran to stop the Cy-bugs to save his friend.

But then, Sora raised his Keyblade up at the bug that was about to land on top of him, and a great beam of Light shot from it straight into the bug!

"Sora...!" Riku cried.

The strong white Light pushed the Shadow-bug back as a yellow aura emitted around it, and all at once, the bug's eyes, along with all the rest of the bugs turned blue.

The other bugs fluttered toward the Light coming out of Sora's Key, almost as if they were being drawn to it.

Calhoun had been blasting the bugs with her gun up until they suddenly turned their attention to the Keyblade's Light. "What—!" She gasped in astonishment as she stopped her firing.

"They're...leaving!" Riku said in amazement.

Sora looked around him to see all the bugs coming towards him as he held his Key up, then he looked back, "Riku! Follow me! I have an idea...!"

Sora hopped onto the back of the Shadow-bug while some of the other bugs fluttered behind him. He then shot another beam of Light from his Keyblade, and while only lasting for a few seconds, the bugs flew after the Light with blue eyes.

"I get it..." Riku admitted. Then he ran over to get on a bug to follow Sora before they got too far.

Using short lasting beams of Light, both Sora and Riku used the powers from their Keyblades to lead the bugs they were standing on toward the mountain, while alluring some of the other bug's attention along the way.

As they both made it to the top of the big rock, the Keyblade wielders jumped off to find Ralph knocking large dints into the Mentos.

At first they both were confused as to why Ralph was trying to break all the candies down as they stood watching him.

"What are you two kids doing here?!" Ralph asked excitedly when he saw them beside him. "You shouldn't have followed me...!"

"We want to help you! Good friends don't leave their friends to take care of things on their own! Tell us what we can do to help you," Sora returned persistently.

"...Okay—then you can help me make these Mentos fall!" Ralph told them. "But once they do, you have to promise me you'll—"

"Don't worry—we're already on it!" Riku interrupted.

Using their Keyblades, Sora and Riku swung down on the Mentos beneath them as hard as they could, causing the whole top to slowly drop down more and more.

Ralph kept punching down like a jackhammer as all the Mentos continued breaking down. Beams of hot cola steamed around them as the unstable surface got lower, the quaking made it tough for them to stay balanced!

As the Mentos got closer to falling, everyone suddenly was knocked back when a giant black and red colored Cy-bug dropped in between them to make things even more difficult for them!

~The Corrupted plays (KH II OST)~

"What's that—!" Sora exclaimed as he hopped to his feet.

The giant monster suddenly swung its double electric tail into Ralph and knock him back into the side of the Mentos. When Ralph looked up he couldn't believe whose face he saw on the bug's body...!

"Welcome to the fourth level!" The monster said in a familiar voice.

"Turbo...!" Ralph returned with an angry look.

"What happened to him...?" Riku wondered as he looked at the monster.

"I really owe you one! It's thanks to all of you that I am now the most powerful VIRUS in the arcade! Haha!" Turbo stated with an evil laugh, while an intense aura of Darkness emanated from him. "Soon I will take over all the games to finally have my revenge!"

"No you won't—we're not going to let that happen!" Sora glared at him as he went into his battling stance.

"Not you annoying brats again! Which arcade game do you originate from, anyway—Meddling Maniacs?"

"Sorry to disappoint you, but we come from a World beyond yours!" Riku told the monstrous Turbo.

"What—! Well, no matter... Once I've finished devouring the two of you, I will have the power that makes you heroes all to myself... Then I will be unstoppable! And soon, after I've absorbed all the power from every game, I will have enough to come after yours, too! Ha haha! For reasons I can't understand, I seem to be getting this strange idea about there being other Worlds outside of mine, and I can already feel the ability used for getting to those very Worlds awakening inside my code. I must find the Heart of all Worlds...!" Turbo revealed to the heroes as he apparently was beginning to obtain the mind of the Heartless which the Cy-bug had consumed before him.

"Oh-no!" Sora gasped. "If we don't stop him he's going to figure out how to get to our World—just like the Heartless! We can't let someone like him get loose outside of the arcade!"

"Then we'll have to end him here while we've got the chance!" Riku replied bravely.

"You guys have risked your lives to save my World... Now I will help you protect yours!" Ralph vowed. "LET'S WRECK IT!"

~The Encounter plays (KH II OST)~

"Oooh... I am going to enjoy this," Turbo admitted evilly.

Sora and Riku lunged at Turbo with their Keyblades to attack, while Ralph charged into him with his fist.

Turbo could move very quickly thanks to all the powers he had absorbed. Using his claw-like legs, he began jabbing down at them!

Sora quickly rolled out of the way, then stood back up to counter back with a side slash. "Back off!"

Riku used his Dark Break move and dove down on top of the large virus three times, landing every hit! "Haah! Hgh! H-yaa!"

To knock their enemy off his feet, Ralph rapidly punched into his long, red crab-like legs! "No you don't!" Ralph yelled.

Getting behind the bug's long, slanted body, Sora jumped onto Turbo's back and charged upward to attack the back of his head, which oddly had switched into King Candy's face, only with a more sinister look!

"A-hah! Yaah!" Sora exclaimed while he attacked Turbo's head with multiple aerial swings.

Turbo used his wiry tail to catch Riku as he wrapped it around him and violently zapped him! "Aaaaagh!" Riku screamed from the electrifying pain!

When Sora heard his friend was caught he ran down toward the center of Turbo's back and flipped into the air to dive into it with his Key. "H-yaa!

After taking a critical hit Turbo released the Keyblade master and groaned in pain, "Ooooooh!"

Once Riku landed on the hard Mento candies he sprang himself up to deal more attacks to stop the game-eating virus!

Turbo kept whipping his double tails around them for defense.

Being the strongest of the team, Ralph grabbed a hold of one of Turbo's legs, and with all his strength he lifted him off the ground and tossed him down with a body slam!

While Turbo was down everyone worked together to attack as many times as they could!

From all the pressure that was being caused by their battling, the Mentos began to tremble as they shifted down lower, and lots of boiling geysers shot up!

"Whooa...I think it's gonna blow soon...!" Sora said in a shaky voice.

Most of Cy-bugs who had followed the heroes to the mountain were making their way back the game's exit after the effects had worn off, while some of them stayed behind as they were attracted to the tiny glows from the geysers.

Since Turbo used to have human features he still had hands to reach down and grab them with.

He quickly dashed toward Sora, and before the young hero could get away Turbo grabbed a hold of him and lifted him up in both hands!

"Gnah!" Sora gasped after getting caught.

Turbo held around him tightly as he brought him up to his mouth in the nature of the Cy-bugs to consume him! "Hold still, little guy! It will all be over soon...!"

"Ggh...! No! Errrgh..." Sora said while struggling to get free, since he couldn't get to his Keyblade lying below him after he'd dropped it!

As Turbo's mouth came closer Riku looked up to see his friend in the clutches of the monster. He quickly jumped at Turbo to attack the hands holding Sora!

While their enemy's grip loosened from Riku's attacks, Sora squirmed even harder to break away before getting eaten as he could almost feel the Darkness emitting out of Turbo trying to absorb his Light!

"Errrgh...ugh!" Sora finally managed to get his hands out and summon his Key. "I don't think so...! Hyah!"

Turbo dropped the spiky haired boy as he leaned back after taking a painful hit directly in the face by Sora. "Aaagh! Why you—!"

"Nobody tries to eat my friend!" Riku declared, then he slashed back at the enemy. "Yaah!"

"Guys, this whole mountain's about to go up!" Ralph warned the two boys as the Mentos fell down another layer. "You have to get out of here!"

"Right! Whaaah...!" Sora agreed as a violent shake knocked him down.

"I'm not through with all of you yet! I've still got lots of power stored up in my code!" Turbo assured them like a raving maniac as Darkness raised up out of him!

While he violently stomped into the Mentos with all four of his probing legs, Ralph quickly slid under him, and while under him he stood up to toss the monster down!

But Turbo didn't slow down as he rolled himself into a ball after standing back up and began rolling after them! "Ah ha haha!" He laughed wildly.

Riku blocked him with his Keyblade to knock him back, then Sora and Ralph ran in to attack the off balanced foe.

As the round Mentos shifted yet again, Riku fell back.

"Heh heh heh, TURBOTASTIC!" Turbo exclaimed as he whipped his tail to send Ralph and Sora back to the ground!

"Augh!" Ralph and Sora both cried after taking the hit.

"Ergh...I don't get it..! Why can't we beat him...?" Sora said as he lifted himself, weakened from the battle.

~The Encounter ends~

While Ralph was still down Turbo scurried over to him and grabbed him by the legs as he fluttered up with his bug wings!

~Shaded Truths plays (KH BBS OST)~

"No! R-Ralph..!" Sora cried while looking up.

"What's that thing doing...?!" Riku wondered with an angry glare.

Back at the game's exit, Vanellope and the others could see the monstrous bug lifting Ralph higher into the air. "Ralph!" The little girl gasped.

Calhoun had just used up the last fires from her gun as she tossed it away and backed into the tunnel, leaving the trapped Vanellope to be stuck outside because of her being a glitch!

From high above the mountain, Ralph looked down to see poor Vanellope in danger as the remaining Cy-bugs closed in on her. "Kid...! VANELLOPE!" He called out very worried.

"HAHA! Just look at your little friend...!" Turbo laughed as he brought Ralph up more into his clutches.

Feeling the Mentos were about to give way, Riku turned to Sora, "We need to get off the mountain...! Fast!"

"But—what about...!" Sora stopped as the ground moved lower beneath his feet, then he nodded. "Okay! Let's go...!"

Together, the two friends jumped over the side of the mountain, falling through the air as they made their way down.

While Ralph helplessly watched Vanellope from above, Turbo wickedly laughed as Darkness continued to form around him! "Ooh, hoohoo! It looks like it's game over FOR ALL OF YOU!"

"NO! Just me...!" Ralph returned as he used all his strength to push Turbo's clenching hands apart to break loose.

~Shaded Truths ends~

"Wha—!" Turbo gasped in total shock as Ralph plummeted straight down for the cola mountain. When Vanellope saw Ralph falling she dashed off rapidly by using her glitches, making her way right over the bugs as she went straight for the mountain!

After landing safely on the ground, Sora and Riku looked up to see their new friend falling! "Huh! Ralph...!" Sora cried in fear as he watched through his widened blue eyes!

"Uh-huh!" Riku gasped.

~Destiny's Union plays (KH BBS OST)~

As Ralph continued to fall at great speed head first he clenched the heart shaped medal he still wore around his neck from Vanellope, and with the wind blowing up in his face he recited the villain's 'One Game at a Time' motto, "I'm bad, and that's good. I will never be good, and that's not bad. There's no one I'd rather be...than me!" He closed his eyes as he dove straight into the center of all the broken down Mentos, causing a giant field of wind to go off around the top of the mountain after the impact!

"NO..!" Sora cried.

"He..." Riku uttered speechlessly. Vanellope was coming up on the mountain fast while glitching in a race kart she found.

"Huh? What...just passed us?" Sora asked after he and Riku saw a tiny blue light zip by them into the mountain.

"It—looked a little like someone driving in a go kart..." Riku replied unsure.

"Could it have been...Vanellope...?!" Sora gasped with a startled jump back.

"Uh! I think you're right, Sora!" Riku returned with a gasp.

Sora looked more worried, "Oh no! She'll never make it out of there..!"

All the Mentos had broken loose as they all dropped down to the boiling spring, while Ralph came down with them in the center.

As he and the candies got closer to the steaming cola Vanellope came flying into cave at glitch warping speed.

She rode around the bonus level track just as Ralph was about to go passed it, and when she reached the jump at the end her kart blasted into the air.

She drove the kart right into Ralph as she made her way to the other side, catching Ralph on the hood!

When Ralph looked up after being caught he smiled at the girl, and she told him, "Don't worry! I've got it all under control!"

~Destiny's Union ends~

Instead of landing on the other side of the track she used her glitch powers to teleport her and Ralph out of mountain as they vanished out of thin air! And just in time, for the Mentos had just splashed down into the spring, creating a massive explosion of boiling hot cola to shoot up through the top of the tall mountain!

As the cola geyser went up, it created a perfect imitation of the beacon device they used to lure the Cy-bugs in the game Hero's Duty.

The Cy-bugs, and Shadow-bugs, too, after the invading viruses had consumed nearly every Heartless, all followed the steaming, yellow beacon as they couldn't help themselves being attracted to its light!

Even Turbo, who was trying to get as from the geyser as he could was unable to control his Cy-bug nature of being drawn to the Light.

"Sora, look!" Riku pointed up at the bugs flying into the geyser. Sora looked up from his sad emotions he was feeling for the possible loss of Ralph.

"No..! Stay away! Stay away...!" Turbo kept telling himself as the nature of the bugs were taking over his mind and he began flying toward the beacon. "No—! Nooooo! Yes...no! Yes..."

Turbo kept switching between a Cy-bug and himself until eventually he made immediate contact with the beacon he just couldn't avoid, then he was eradicated after flying into the Light.

Up in the sky all anybody could see was a swarm of green winged bugs, and it wasn't long until every bug had vanished completely after they all flew into the beacon, including the ones who were threatening Felix and Sergeant Calhoun back at the exit.

"Well...that takes care of this game's pest problems," Riku smirked in a playful manner.

"...Yeah..." Sora agreed in a somber mood as he thought about Ralph and Vanellope. "I just hope—"

Suddenly, in a flash of light above the two heroes two familiar faces were dropped into a nearby chocolate river just next to them, splashing down into it!

Sora and Riku ran over to the river to check it out!

Their smiles couldn't have been bigger when they saw Ralph and Vanellope's heads pop up out of the wet chocolate! "You guys...! You're both alright!" Sora cried happily.

~Innocent Times plays (KH BBS OST)~

"Yeah..! Wait, what is...? Heh, it's chocolate...? It's chocolate! I love chocolate!" Ralph exclaimed as he looked around. Whoo!"

"Yeah! Whoo-hoo!" Vanellope laughed and cheered while splashing in the chocolate river.

"Hahaha! Heh, heh," Sora and Riku laughed at their two friends while standing on the side and watching them rolling around in the messy chocolate.

~Innocent Times ends~

After rejoining the others back where the race arena used to be Felix repaired the finish line so Vanellope could cross it and fulfill her life long dream.

Ralph held onto the back of Vanellope's special race kart they had built together while the girl waited anxiously to complete her race.

Sora and Riku stood on the side along with Calhoun to watch.

Vanellope looked behind her to give Ralph a nod, then he gave the car a push, causing it to roll over the red and white checkered line on the road.

As her wheels were just finishing going over the line, her kart suddenly began to sparkle with a bright light!

Calhoun and Felix both exchanged affectionate smiles with each other, thinking back on all they had been through together.

"Aaw..." Sora awed with a smiling face at the sight.

"Whoa...! What's with the lights?" Vanellope wondered as she mysteriously lifted into the air as more lights began to circle around her. Everyone watched to see what would happen.

~Peaceful Hearts plays (KH BBS OST)~

From inside the database where all the game's codes were kept the purple box with the little girl's name upon it was magically reconnected to all the others as it glowed.

It then reactivated Vanellope's code to the way it was before Turbo hacked into the game and took her place as King Candy.

Everyone watched in amazement as the light gave the girl ascending above the ground new attire, transforming her clothes into a pink dress and adding a red tiara upon her Candy filled hair.

The entire World of Sugar Rush began to light up as everything was brought back to how it looked before the Cy-bugs invaded! This caused the people of the game to all return as they made their way down the rainbow path, while also bringing some back into the arena as all their true memories were returning.

"Wow..." Both Sora and Riku said as they watched.

Sourbill walked up to Vanellope after returning and announced in his gloomy voice, "All hale the rightful ruler of Sugar Rush, Princess Vanellope."

"You're a...princess...?!" Sora asked in amazement.

"I...guess I am," Vanellope replied, sounding surprised herself.

The three racers who had made fun of her pleaded for Vanellope's forgiveness, and after having a little fun with them in acting like she wouldn't forgive them, she finally did with a laugh.

~Peaceful Hearts ends~

"So this is the real you..?" Ralph said as he went up to the girl.

~Friends In My Hearts plays (KH II OST)~

"No, Ralph! Are you nuts? This isn't me..." Vanellope said before surprising everyone by using her glitches to warp out of the royal gown to return to her old appearance. "This is me. I'm a racer with the greatest super power, and most best friends EVER! And I'm not ever going to give that up!"

"Heh, me neither, kid," Ralph replied with a warm smile as he looked at her and his other friends.

"We won't ever give it up either. Right, Riku?" Sora nodded with a smile.

"Yeah," Riku agreed with a side smile.

~Friends In My Heart ends~

"Hmm," Vanellope said while thinking, " I think instead of being a princess I'll be more like a president—President Vanellope Von Schweetz! Has a nice ring to it, don't you think?" The whole kingdom agreed with joyful cheers for their new leader.

"Well, sorry to interrupt this fun fest, but the Arcade should be about ready to reopen. Fix It! Ralph! You two...! Let's move on out," Calhoun said starting to head back to her nearby shuttle.

"Aw...it's already time to say good-bye...?" Vanellope complained.

"I guess so..." Sora returned.

"Wait—if all of you want, you can live here. Ralph, you could be happy if you stay here. No one will treat you like a bad guy, I promise," Vanellope offered her new friends.

~Destiny's Union plays (KH BBS OST)~

Ralph knelt down to her level, "I'm already happy. I've got the coolest friends in the world! And besides, I've got a job to do—and I'm the only one who can." Vanellope smiled up at him.

"Same goes for us," Riku added.

"Yeah. We've got something we have to do, too—and friends who are waiting for us...I think," Sora joined in.

"What about those weird monsters though? What do we do if they show up again? Will you be here to save everybody?" Vanellope asked.

"Don't worry. We'll find a way to keep your World—I mean Game safe! I promise!" Sora replied.

"They haven't come back yet... Maybe now that this game is back to normal they won't be able to come back...I don't know," Riku said. "It should definitely be a lot better off now that you don't have that Turbo virus to worry about."

"Will you be able to ever come back after you go back to your World outside of ours..?" Vanellope asked.

"If there is any way we can come back, we will!" Sora assured her.

"I'll miss you, Sora and Riku!" She told them.

"Alright! She finally got my name right! Did you hear her, Riku?" Sora said excitedly.

"I heard her..." Riku replied while shaking his head cooly.

"Heey, don't push it. You'll still always be Spike-head to me! Haha!" The girl giggled while Sora put his hands behind his head.

~Destiny's Union ends~

Sora and Riku were about to leave with the others when their Keyblades suddenly bursted into their hands! They gave each a blank look, then their Key began to glow brightly at the same time!

They watched with wonder as their Keys began to transform before them.

After the lights dimmed down, in each of their hand they were now holding big hammer looking weapons...

Riku's had a blue, square shaped sledge hammer with yellow stripes through it on top of a fancy looking purple and gold plated handle which still resembled a Keyblade.

Sora's also still resembled a basic Key handle all black and silver plated, but the top had a yellow, rounded sledge hammer looking tool on top, with each round end a shiny purple color.

Wanting to give their new oversize hammer weapons a try, Sora and Riku hit the ground with them together, which created wide rings of Light to go out around the tops below them.

"Cool!" Vanellope exclaimed after watching.

"They...both transformed, Riku...!" Sora said in disbelief.

"Yeah," Riku nodded back.

Then their Keyblade-hammers transformed back into their regular Key shapes again, only now in an entirely new design, both identical to the other's to match the game they were in, only with a few differences in color.

The teeth on theirs Keys were now three colorful, metal lollipops, going down a chocolate looking blade covered with rainbow sprinkles leading to a candy cane striped hand grip and a wreath made of red licorice for a hand guard.

At the end of the keychains were miniature Mentos.

"Neat trick, guys!" The little girl grinned. Sora and Riku gave each other a satisfied nod then dismissed their Keys.

"I don't know...that new design may not work for my taste," Riku commented his new Keyblade form.

"Ah, it's perfect!" Sora replied while pumping his fists excitedly.

After finishing their farewells, Sora and Riku went with Ralph to Calhoun's shuttle to head back to Game Central Station.

As they walked through the busy game station Calhoun turned to Sora and Riku, "What are you two planning to do about getting home...? Felix told me all about you coming from outside of our Game World. You two really have some guts! If those monsters would've succeeded in taking over that sugar game you two would've been deleted along with it—if you know what I mean... You probably would have just disappeared with the game for good, and never make it back to your World. I don't see why you'd risk your own lives for a bunch of...well, data!"

Sora shook his head, "That doesn't change anything. In this World filled with games we made lots of friends... Helped them with their problems... Helped fulfill their dreams... And most of all we shared connections with them! Your World means just as much to us as our own World does—same goes for everyone we met here, too!"

"Uuh...?" Calhoun looked at him confused.

"Don't worry about it... That's just who he is," Riku told her while referring to Sora. "But he's right. ...Even if I don't really understand it all myself. Ah ha.

"Hey, uh...Sora. Riku..." Ralph spoke up next to Felix. "I just wanted to say thanks, for everything. You really helped me big time! And I feel like what I've been looking for all this time, while trying to find out who I am—I think I'm beginning to finally see it! If it hadn't been for you kids not giving up on me, I don't think I ever would've got to where I am now—with all these new friends. Now I can finally be happy for once in my life! ...I'll never forget you..."

"We'll never forget you either, Ralph... You were amazing back there! You showed real courage!" Sora replied.

"I don't think you'll ever have trouble finding your true self again. You went out to change your life, and you did. And it wasn't the medal that made you a hero, it was you!" Riku told him with a smile while Ralph smiled back.

While they stood in the center of the station, a bright Light suddenly started to appear at the far end of the game station's wall and a glowing keyhole shape appeared.

Sora's Keyblade popped into his hand, then knowing what came next he pointed it up toward the keyhole.

"What's that?" Ralph asked curiously.

"It looks like this Game World has a special keyhole of its own," Riku returned.

"Huh...this place just got interesting," Sergeant Calhoun admitted.

Sora used his Keyblade to seal the keyhole which then made a glowing doorway appear in front of the two young heroes.

While realizing it was their way out, Sora dismissed his Key and turned back to say one last good-bye.

"You know, I think I might have been wrong about you, kid. You do show some real hero potential..." Calhoun told Sora.

"Thanks," Sora smiled.

"Yeah, well...just don't let it go to your head. You've still got a lot more work to do in my book!" Calhoun smirked.

"Sure...? I've gotta admit though, you sure are tough...! When I first saw you I didn't think you were a girl at first!" Sora confessed.

"WHAT?! Are you trying to say I look like a GUY?!" Calhoun yelled back in an angry tone.

"Uh, no...!" Sora gasped.

"Then were you trying to say I fight like a GIRL?!" Calhoun stormed.

~Laughter and Merriment plays (KH II OST)~

"...!" Sora stepped back, unsure what he said that made her get so mad!

"Uh, Sora...! I think we should be going now...don't you?" Riku told his friend nervously, trying to get away before the female sergeant got any angrier.

"Don't you mind what he said, my lady. You were great," Felix said to butter up the women he admired.

"Stay out of this, Fix It! The kid's got to learn to stick up for himself!" Calhoun returned. "Tell you what, kid... I'll have a level in my game made just for you. Then we'll really get you moving!"

"Eh, haha, sounds great..." Sora laughed awkwardly.

~Laughter and Merriment ends~

"See you guys next time!" Ralph waved.

"Okay, Ralph. Take care of yourself!" Sora waved back.

Then together, he and Riku walked into the glowing doorway and disappeared with a flash of Light, leaving the rest to go back to their own games.

Inside Litwak's Arcade, Donald and Goofy were waiting to see if Sora and Riku would make it back or not. The trouble caused by the hooded man had them both so worried.

As they stared at the game console with the orange paper half way hanging from the screen they both sighed...

"I sure do hope they're alright in there..." Goofy said.

"Me too..." Donald agreed. "Waak!"

They both jumped back when a Light made the console glow and two tiny Lights floated out of it! "Gawrsh, do ya think...?" Goofy paused in wonder.

The two Lights grew bigger until it flashed so brightly they had to shield their eyes.

When they began to slowly open their eyes as the Lights were disappearing, they were relieved to see Sora and Riku standing before them, both safe and sound!

"Sora! Riku!" Donald and Goofy exclaimed in unison.

"Donald! Goofy! I'm so glad you're both here!" Sora cried with happiness to see his two buddies again. The three of them excitedly jumped up and down!

Once things had settled down between the happy trio, Riku finally asked, "Were you both here this whole time...?"

"Uh-huh," Goofy nodded.

"Wak, wak, WAAK! Wait a minute! We should be asking you where you've been first!" Donald cried angrily.

After Sora and Riku explained to them about the Game World, Donald and Goofy were both amazed and confused. "But how come only you two were brought into the game? Goofy and I were standing right next to you...?" Donald pointed out.

"Who knows... Maybe it had something to do with our Keyblades," Riku suggested.

"Well, I know why we were brought there in the first place now..." Sora admitted. "Oh...! Just a second! There's something I should do...!"

~A Walk In Andante plays (KH II OST)~

Sora's friends watched him suddenly run passed them toward the front of the Arcade.

Once Sora had reached the front counter, he found the owner Mr Litwak standing behind it, just like he hoped.

"Um, excuse met, sir," Sora tried to get the man's attention who was from the looks of things counting quarters.

"Oh, you're still here, son?" Mr Litwak replied a bit surprised, who apparently had been busy back there the whole time they'd been away.

"About that game back there—the one that says it's out of order..."

"Yes...?"

"Well, it's just...I don't think you'll have any problems with it anymore."

"Now how would you know that...? It's been shut off the whole time."

"Something just tells me it's working again! Please, try turning it on!"

"Well, alright. Since you seem to feel so strongly about it, let's go take a look."

After they made it to Ralph's game the others wondered what they were doing, while Riku just smiled to himself.

Mr Litwak tried turning the game on, and surprisingly the game came on without any trouble! "Well, would you look at that!" Mr Litwak said.

"I'm gonna wreck it!" Everyone heard the tiny character Ralph say in the game. Sora and Riku both smiled to hear a familiar voice come out of the game.

"It's working!" Goofy exclaimed.

"I-I don't believe it!" Mr Litwak turned to them. "Good job there, kid! It looks like you were right. I'd better go get rid of this paper and add Ralph's game back to my list. You all come back again any time!"

After the Arcade owner had gone back to his desk Donald and Goofy gave Sora and Riku funny looks... "What did you two do while you were in there, anyway...?" Donald questioned them.

"You two didn't go in there to repair the broken game, did ya?" Goofy asked.

"We may have done something like that," Sora replied while he playfully through his hands behind his head.

"You two knowing about mechanical stuff...? Oh, boy... Now I've heard everything..." Donald sighed.

~A Walk In Andante ends~

"I'm just glad you fellers made it back safely, even after that guy from Organization XIII showed up here, too..." Goofy told them.

"The ORGANIZATION...!" Sora repeated in shock.

"They were actually here?!" Riku asked very concerned. "What happened?"

"Well, he came here asking for...one of you. We didn't know where you were though," Donald explained.

"Yeah. Then the hooded feller got sorta mad! And before we could stop him, he used his Dark powers to do something to the game! But we don't knows what he did.." Goofy added.

"Riku...the Heartless...! What if that guy in the coat was responsible for all that," Sora told him after putting the pieces together.

"That would explain why I felt...never mind. So did you get to see who it was?" Riku asked.

"Nope... But he said he had something he wanted to give one of you. I think he meant you, Sora..." Goofy assumed.

"Me...?" Sora thought as a concerned look appeared on his face and he looked down.

"I think this World should be alright for now. We should get going," Riku suggested, trying to change the subject.

"Sure...if our gummi ship is still out there," Donald said in a worried way.

"Oh, you worry too much, Donald! It'll be there, I know it!" Goofy replied with a positive attitude.

"Yeah, come on," Riku told them, already walking toward the front of the Arcade.

Sora finally looked up to catch up with his friends after the others had gone with Riku to head back to the ship.

Well, that ends Chapter 21 and Wreck It Ralph's World. And man, I am beat! I spent a lot of time on this chapter and World!

But...I'm sure it'll be nice to start on something fresh again for the next World... That is of course, if they will be going to another one in the next chapter. Haha...

How'd you like it all though?

I hope the length of it didn't make it a drag to read.

When I started it all just went together I thought. And after it was done I couldn't get myself to consider cutting anything. I guess I had lots of ideas for this World, and tons of things I wanted to add into it.

Did you enjoy the battle parts in this chapter..? I am still getting used to writing about action...

As soon as I knew this would be a Disney film World I'd use I had big plans for the Cy-bugs to consume Heartless. But great job to the readers who were able to predict it would happen that way! Haha.

What about the hooded man, Ansem SoD/Xehanort's Heartless? I thought that was creepy the way he suddenly showed up.

Looks like Riku is starting to experience some of the Keyblade's transformations.

I had plans for 'hammer' weapons before I started.

Riku definitely is getting better and more confident about meeting new people.

Did you know right from the start what Sora meant when he talked to Vanellope about having things you can't explain happening to you? Or what was responsible for causing Riku to sense a familiar disturbance?

After hearing about the hooded guy from Donald and Goofy, Sora sure is starting to look troubled... Probably wondering why the Organization is seeking for him...or one of his other friends with a Keyblade.
