Here's the new chapter, four days to go, I can do this! I don't own any of this but my interpretation, it is Nintendo's

We got through the Passage of Time without a hitch thanks to Celebi. Everything hurt from the impact, and from the stress of the moment before. Now, warmth spread across my body. Was it...the Sun?

"Grovyle! Look! We made it!" Eric yelled in my ear, my head pounded.

"You need to quiet down a little." I said, getting to my feet. Everything was vibrant and colorful. We did it.

"Sorry, I'm just really excited." Eric replied.

"I am too." I looked over at the Skitty...was it Kitten, was it really? Dusknoir seemed sure but- "Can you open your eyes, please?"

"What?" Skitty asked.

"Please. I have to know."

"O...kay?" Skitty opened her eyes.

One blue, one green.

"It really is you...Kitten." Before I knew what I was going I scooped Kitten up and hugged her. "We did it Kitten! We made it to the light, where the Sun touches the Earth and gives it color! Time moves here, and we're finally here together!" Kitten laughed nervously and patted me on the back. Right, amnesia, she had no idea who I was. I put her down.

"Still, that's such a weird coincidence." Eric commented, as he looked around the beach. "You know, this is where Kitten and I first met. Right over there, I found her passed out on the beach."

"I see...That's what happened. You ended up here and I ended up near the Human Village, with a few months difference in time, it seems like."

"Oh, that's right!" Eric exclaimed. "There are still things I don't get, like the whole concept of time travel. Can you explain it?"

"Er...I suppose." Now that I thought about it, did I understand time travel? "But this isn't really the place to talk. I'm a wanted criminal in this world, remember? Plus, everyone would be shocked to see you pulled into the future and then suddenly come back. We need to find someplace to hide." I saw the two of them droop a little. They had obviously been looking forward to seeing their friends in the guild. Now that I thought about it, the fact that the Skitty was Kitten the whole time explained the fact that she wasn't on Wigglytuff Guild's record in the future. She had seen her own future, but we hadn't gone back in time yet, so the changes hadn't happened.

"Right...Wait! I know a good place." Eric said. "We have to go through Treasure Town, though."

"We can go around?" Kitten suggested.

"Oh true, yeah, good thinking Kitten!"

"Thanks."

So we went around and ended up at Sharpedo Bluff! Right, this was Eric's home. Everything was coming full circle. There was a bush on the entrance just like before.

"This is Sharpedo Bluff." Eric explained. "Named as such because the cliff is shaped like the Pokemon Sharpedo." He looked at the bush with a smile on his face. "As far as I can tell, nothing seems out of the ordinary. I should still be able to-" He knocked the bush over. "There we go. It's down there. I lived here before we joined the guild. Go ahead...go in."

I stepped into the cave and looked out at the ocean. This was the spot Eric had stood frozen. I was glad to know he had done something with his second chance. He had joined the guild and made a true friend in Kitten. Kitten and Eric came in.

"Good, nothing's out of place. That just shows how little attention this place gets. Let's stay here for a while."

"Agreed." Kitten and I answered simultaneously.

We spent the day catching up on sleep and sunbathing. We were all absolutely exhausted. Even though it would be better to start working again immediately, we were no good in our condition. At night we took some stones and logs around the cave, lit a fire, and discussed our current situation, and future plans.

"Still, Kitten...I never expected you to be the same Kitten." I said, looking over at her. She was silent. I guessed she needed to come to terms with this. To have amnesia, build an identity, and then have another forced upon you suddenly certainly wasn't easy.

"Yeah, can you tell us more about that? What happened with you and Kitten?"

"Yes. We both lived in the world of darkness. Kitten, see, Kitten had this dream. She had seen the world of the past using the Dimensional Scream ability. She had seen light and she wanted to chase after it. She envisioned a world in which the Planet's Paralysis had never taken place. So she set off on a journey to figure out what had gone wrong, and how she could fix it. She found and recruited me as a young child, and we worked together to find the answer. We found them in Time Gears. Using the Dimensional Scream ability and the library in the Human Village, we found that the answer was Time Gears. We had to put five Time Gears at the top of Temporal Tower. So once we figured that out we went to Celebi to travel back in time, and of course Dusknoir tried to stop us every step of the way. We finally got to the Passage of Time but something went wrong. The Passage shattered midway, and we were separated. Kitten fell off the path and I ran to the end...I tried to save her, but she wouldn't let me...For some reason that fall made her turn into a Skitty and develop amnesia...I have no idea why that happened."

Kitten stared into the fire and said nothing. This was obviously a lot for her to take in.

"So, Kitten, you may not be able to remember any of this, but...You were my closest friend. I...sort of fell apart when we separated." I scratched the back of my head. "I'm glad to see your safe."

"You do seem a lot more pleasant now then when you were fighting us over Time Gears." Eric said, laughing.

"Yes, I suppose I am...I'm sorry I hurt you." I had given Kitten the physical punishment she had requested right after my evolution. Fitting, I suppose. "Your appearance may have changed...and although you have lost your memory...you are you. None of this alters the fact that you remain my friend. I'm so glad to see you again..."

"I'm sorry, this is just a little too much for me, Grovyle. Like, I trust you, and I know you aren't lying...just...after this is over, let me get to know you again. I'm sure we can be friends, but I don't feel anything like friendship toward you right now...Can we please talk about something else?"

After this is over...

Oh no...I couldn't tell her now. It would crush her, and we would never be able to complete the mission.

"Something wrong, Grovyle, it sounded like you just choked or something?" Eric asked.

"No...no, I'm fine. Of course we can change the subject. We have to decide on a course of action. Like I told you before. I plan to collect Time Gears. What are you going to do?"

"Um...I'm concerned about how time stops in an area when Time Gears are removed. Are you sure it's only temporary?"

"Yes." Well, as far as I could trust Eilian's research and hundreds of years of history. I wouldn't tell them that, though. I needed them not to doubt me right now. "Everything will return to normal once Temporal Tower is repaired."

"Then...we'll go with you! Taking a Time Gear will badly affect the Pokemon in the area, but that world was horrible! We have to do anything we can to prevent the Planet's Paralysis." Eric said, nodding.

"Yeah, I agree." Kitten added.

"Great. I am grateful for the help. We'll strategize in the morning. Goodnight."

"Night." Kitten put the fire out with a Water Pulse, and we went to sleep.
