"Please Mum?"
Private begged as he gave his Mother his best 'kicked puppy' look. Red briefly glanced up from her current invention before giving it her full attention again.
"Nyet. I'm busy Private. I need this finished before tomorrow."
"But Mum~ It'll only take an hour at most. Uncle Nigel, Rockgut and Grandpa already agreed to play but only if I can convince you to."
Damn Bastards. They knew she had to finish this project before the deadline. If she didn't know better she would suspect them of purposely sending Private to ensure she didn't finish.
Sighing softly, Red set down her wrench before glancing down at her son, only to winch as she noticed his eyes had begun to water.
Damn he really had that look down. A part of Red couldn't help but feel guilty but a more logical part told her it was all just an act to guilt her into playing.
"Private, Dear. Can we not play this after I'm done?"
"No, Uncle has to head back to work tomorrow. Please Mum~"
Right then and there, Red made her biggest mistake in her life. She met those watery 'Kicked Puppy' Eyes and didn't look away.
Feeling her resolve running out on her, Red sighed softly.
"Fine. But only for an hour."
"Truth or Dare?"
Red couldn't help but scowl at the pleased looking spy sitting across from her in annoyance. She was willing to bet her good eye that this whole game had been his idea instead of Private's.
"Truth."
"What is your greatest fear?"
The Russian villain couldn't help but scowl as she noticed how Rockgut suddenly leaned forward, suddenly less annoyed and more interested in their game. He was probably hoping he would be able to use it against her.
"Widow."
"Widow?"
Nigel asked the confusion clear in his voice.
"Widow."
Red repeated in agreement.
"I thought you two where partners. You work amazingly together."
"Only when necessary. "
If it wasn't, Red probably would run the other way every time she saw the psychotic woman, but as the saying went 'Business before Pleasure'.
Deciding to change the subject before they dug too deep, Red glanced to the American on her left.
"Rockgut, Truth or Dare?"
"Dare."
A mischievous smirk fount its way to Red's face causing a sense of worry to fill the American Agent.
"I dare you to dye your hair neon pink."
Muffled snickers filled the room as Rockgut entered the area, his newly colored neon pink hair glistening in the dim lighting. Crimson eyes narrowed on the snickering group dangerously as his scowl deepened.
Oh, they could laugh all they wanted now but just they wait. Soon he would get them all for this, starting with that blasted Russian.
"Sova."
Immediately three set of head turned towards him before they spoke as one.
"Yes?"
God above, those three where creepy.
"Red. Truth or Dare?
Red couldn't help but frown softly as Rockgut zeroed her out. It was painfully obvious what he wanted her to pick but she had no intention of letting him get that advantage on her, especially after the Dare she had just gave him.
Rockgut, despite what many believed, wasn't above petty revenge.
"Truth."
The American's scowls was proof enough for Red that she had just managed to dodge utter humiliation.
"Have you ever been in love?"
Instantly Red was aware of every eye sudden on her in interest. Didn't they have anything better to do then pry into her life? Sighing softly, Red ran her fingers through her short hair.
"I have."
Nigel, who had been taking a sip of his tea, suddenly spat it out barely missing Red and The Count.
"Wait?! Really?! You?!"
Red's eye twitched in annoyance at the Spy's tone.
"Yes me."
"But What happened to not believing in Love? 'A childish fairy tale for those too weak to go through life without some sort of misguided faith.'"
Red just shrugged casually.
"That was before I discovered that fact of life."
"So," Nigel leaned closer, "Who was it?'
Scowling, Red crossed her hands over her chest.
"Sorry, I answered my question already. Private, Truth or Dare?"
"Umm, Truth?"
Chuckling softly, Red couldn't help but be amused by her son's hesitance.
"What is your favorite pastimes?"
"Uumm, watching the Lunacorns and helping you and Grandpa when you let me."
Bouncing in his spot, Private quickly glanced at the other player, trying to figure out which one would be his vict- err, player. Yeah, Player.
"Uncle Nigel, Truth or Dare?"
The British spy hummed softy as he weighted out his choices.
"Dare."
Slowly a devious grin fount its way to his nephew's face as his eyes glistened with mischief.
"I dare you to spend ten minutes locked in a closet with Mum."
Slowly all color drained from the Spy's face as he nervous glances at the Russian woman, glaring at both him and her son. For some unexplainable reason, Nigel couldn't shake the feeling that if he went in that closet with Red, he wouldn't be coming out without the aid of an ER Stretcher.
"Can I have another?"
"Nope~"
With the reluencty of a man heading for the gallows, Nigel pulled himself to his feet and slowly made his way towards the closet. Red walking just as slowly, if not slower, behind him.
The only thing that could possible make this any more awkward was if Rockgut joined them.
As if to spite him, another voice spoke as said American appeared by Red's side.
"Hold on, I'm coming with you two. There's no way in Hell am I leaving you alone with Red, Nancy Cat."
