Author's note: Just a friendly reminder that the only things my story has in common with the actual season 3 is the alpha pack, and something else that will come into the story later on! Also, I wanted to apologize for not updating! I've been doing this annoying history crap for like a month and just finished. Thanks for your patience, and I hope you enjoy!
Chapter 21
Stiles walked into his house, exhausted. He'd seen Lindsay's car in front of his earlier and considered stopping to talk to her, but he figured it was a bad idea. She wouldn't want to talk to him.
His dad walked into the room, looking stressed. "I'm assuming you already know about the murders." He sighed, looking at his son.
"I've heard about them..." Stiles replied cautiously. If dad was bringing up a case, something had to be going on.
"All of the same injuries." The Sheriff slapped a newspaper onto the table next to Stiles.
"Did they ever figure out who the girls killed were?" He remembered Scott telling him all of the victims were Jane Doe's.
"Two of them." His dad nodded. "There was another one today."
Stiles' eyes widened. "Who?"
"Let me think.. I remember she went to your school, actually. I can't think of her name..."
Stiles' stomach churned. He saw Lindsay turn onto the hiking trail to get away from him. What if she'd gone down there, just to be killed seconds later? "Are you sure?"
"Yeah. She was in your grade, too." The Sheriff closed his eyes, racking his brain for the name. "It was Lisa, or something like that. Lisa Hendricks, I think. Do you know her?"
Stiles sighed in relief. "No, I don't think so."
"It's strange, though. Someone's killing random girls who have nothing in common."
"Yeah, strange." Stiles looked at the newspaper his dad had set in front of him. The pictures of three girls stared back at him. He squinted at one of them. It was a girl with blonde hair and a pointy nose. She had a catty smile and cold eyes. The girl looked oddly familiar, as if from a dream. A look of confusion crossed Stiles' face. "Dad, did they find out who this girl is?" He pointed to the picture.
His dad nodded. "Yeah, why?"
"What's her name?"
"Olivia." The Sheriff replied quietly. "Her name was Olivia."
Allison looked at herself in the mirror. Her dark hair was tangled and felt limp. She'd been a mess since she got suspended because of her fight with Lindsay, who hadn't even gotten in trouble. Every time she thought about her, hatred bubbled to the surface.
Allison caught sight of her contorted face in the mirror and forced herself not to scream. The anger she'd been feeling since Lindsay came to Beacon Hills was building up inside of her, and it was only a matter of time before she exploded.
She knew something was going on with Lindsay, too. At first, Allison thought it was that she was a werewolf, but she knew that couldn't be true.
But there was something. There had to be. She had that feeling about her.
And she couldn't but wonder about Lindsay and Scott. Was something going on? Had they kissed again?
It wasn't until recently that Allison realized that she still had feelings for Scott. Breaking up with him had been a huge mistake. Every time she looked at herself, she could only think of how stupid she was for doing so.
Then maybe I shouldn't look at myself, Allison thought.
Letting go of all the anger she'd been feeling, Allison brought her fist to the mirror as hard as she could. The piercing sound of shattering glass sounded around her. Pieces fell to the ground. Her hand immediately hurt, but she didn't care. This time, when she looked at herself in a shard of glass, Allison saw her old self.
She saw a girl who was determined to get what she wanted.
A girl who wanted Lindsay Ross dead.
Author's note: Sorry it's short, but I just wanted to know... Is anyone even reading this? If you are, please review!
Spoilers! Do not read if you have not seen the last 2 episodes of season 3b of Teen Wolf!
Was anyone else completely shocked and upset when Allison and Aidan died!? I cried for days. But this is my oath that I will not kill either of these characters in this story, so that you can still hold on to them here, and remember their amazing characters!
Thanks for reading! ~L
