Laying on the floor, Applejack lifted her head up and let out a long yawn.
" Boy. That sure was heck of a crazy night!" She said as the rest of her friends woke up.
Pinkie Pie, loosening up her body, noticed Cinderella was missing from her bed.
" Hey, where's Cinderella?"
Her friends looked and they too saw the empty bed.
" She probably just let us sleep in. I wouldn't worry." Twilight replied confidently before the sound of Lady Tremaine was heard.
" Uh...I'm going back to bed." Rainbow Dash said in annoyance while making her way back to the bed.
Just then, Jaq and Gus appeared through the hole in the wall.
" Ponies!" They cried excitedly.
" What is it?" Fluttershy asked.
" Something very exciting is happening! Lady Tremaine has been running around like a wild goose!"
Applejack turned to Twilight.
" Do you think..."
Twilight grinned as she figured out what the mice were talking about.
" So tell us, does Cinderella know?"
" No,no." They answered.
" But if we hurry, she'll know!"
Following the mice, Twilight made them all invisible as they reached Drizella and Anastasia's room. Down the hall, they spotted Cinderella carrying their breakfast trays. Getting near their door, she overheard them and Lady Tremaine talking. The ponies and mice heard them too.
" We'll go peek inside." Jaq whispered before him and Gus disappeared.
Cinderella and the ponies quietly greeted each other and continued to listen. When Lady Tremaine mentioned the Prince, Cinderella was so in shock that she dropped their trays, catching their attention.
" You clumsy little fool!" Lady Tremaine scolded.
" Clean that up. Then help my daughter's dress."
Bending down, Cinderella started to clean up until she noticed that it was already done.
While Lady Tremaine was talking to her daughter's about getting the Prince, Twilight and Rarity had used their magic to help Cinderella.
" The glass slipper is their only clue." Lady Tremaine went on telling her daughter's.
" Now, the Duke has been ordered to try it on every girl in the kingdom and if one can be found when the slipper fits, then by the kings command, that girl shall be the Prince's bride."
" Princess...bride?" Cinderella whispered.
" That's you Cinderella!" Twilight exclaimed, though tried her best to be quiet.
" We found our princess!" Rarity added excitedly.
They watched as Drizella and Anastasia were frantically going around getting their clothes and piling them up in Cinderella's arms. Cinderella was smiling and in such a daze that she didn't notice, nor cared of what was happening. But her stepsisters did.
" What's the matter with her?"
" Wake up, stupid!"
" We got to get dressed."
Cinderella snapped out of her daze.
" Dressed. Oh yes, we must get dressed."
She danced lightly as she went down the hallway while the ponies talked to one another with glee at finally finding their princess.
" Congratulations!" Twilight told Cinderella, making herself and her friends slightly visible to her.
" Oh darling; I'm going to make you the most fabulous wedding gown ever!" Rarity declared happily.
" And I'll bake a yummy cake for you too!" Pinkie added with excitement.
Cinderella grinned happily at her friends.
" Oh, thank you. That's so sweet of you."
" We should hurry though. Don't want the Duke seeing you like that." Applejack reminded her, pointing out her outfit.
She nodded and the group scattered up to her room. But as they were celebrating their victory, they had failed to notice that Lady Tremaine had been secretly watching and realized that Cinderella was the one. Quietly, she followed them. Jaq and Gus saw her and went to warn Cinderella and the ponies. In her room, Cinderella brushed her hair, singing as she got herself ready.
" Just think. In a matter of moments, you'll be reunited with your Prince." Rarity gushed.
" Not to mention you'll never have to work for those crummy ladies again." Rainbow Dash added.
Just then, they heard Jaq and Gus.
" Cinderelly, Cinderelly!" They shouted.
" Jaq, Gus!" Fluttershy said, surprised.
" Cinderelly's in trouble!"
" Trouble?" Applejack asked, trying to understand.
The mice went to Cinderella and tried to warn her, but it was too late. While doing her hair, her and the ponies saw Lady Tremaine lock the door behind them. She noticed Twilight and her friends and why she was surprised at seeing them, she continued her evil deed and shut the door. Cinderella desperately tried to get the door open, pleading to be let out.
" I don't know what you foul, mysterious creatures are up to, but I assure you that my maid will never be a princess." Lady Tremaine told the ponies in a evil tone as she put the key in her pocket.
" You open this door now!" Rainbow Dash yelled angrily as she slammed against the door, slightly startling the evil stepmother, but she ignored it and went on her way.
" I should've known she be up to something." Applejack remarked.
" Hurry and get us out of here!" Rainbow Dash told Twilight, but she shook her head.
" I'm sorry, but I don't know what my magic could do to her. I don't want to risk in hurting her."
She felt guilty as she watched Cinderella weep. But then it turned into confusion when she noticed Fluttershy grinning.
" Why are you smiling?"
" I don't think you'll need magic for this one." She stated and turned to Jaq and Gus.
" They're getting the key?" Rainbow Dash asked.
Fluttershy nodded.
" I know they can. We just have to believe."
" Sure, but we can just become invisible again and get it." Rainbow Dash pointed out.
" Lady Tremaine is aware of our existence now. She'll be expecting us. Jaq and Gus however, won't." Twilight stated.
" Okay. We're on board."
" Try to keep her relaxed until we come back." Jaq instructed the ponies.
" We will. Be careful." Fluttershy replied and kissed their cheeks before they took off.
Minutes went by and the ponies were growing restless as they comfort poor Cinderella, who was crying by the door. Suddenly, they heard their footsteps.
" They're back!" Rainbow Dash said.
" Us a coming, Cinderelly!" Jaq called, him and Gus hauling the key toward her door.
" You got the key! How did you ever manage to..." Cinderella started to say before they heard Lucifer trap Gus.
" Lucifer! Let him go!"
But Lucifer only ignored her and laughed. The other mice, gathering up their courage, came out of hiding and attacked him. When that didn't work, the birds came to help.
" They won't hold him off for long." Fluttershy warned her friends, peeking through the keyhole and watching them fight.
" Do you have any other animal friends?" Applejack asked Cinderella.
It didn't take her long to answer.
" Bruno. Get Bruno!"
The birds heard her and flew off to fetch him. As quick as a bullet, he raced up the stairs and chased Lucifer away from Gus and sent him falling out the window.
" Good boy, Bruno." Cinderella told him.
" Hurry, the key!" Twilight urged Jaq and Gus.
The mice slid the key under the door. Twilight then levitated it into Cinderella's hands and opened the door.
" We have no time to take the stairs. Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, help me!" Twilight ordered, and the three of them picked up Cinderella and flew with the rest of their friends following behind.
Getting closer, they heard the Duke.
" He's leaving! Flap those wings, girls!" Applejack exclaimed.
They went faster until they reached the staircase and put Cinderella down.
" Yo grace, yo grace! Please wait!" She cried, stopping the Duke.
" May I try it on?"
Lady Tremaine, Drizella, and Anastasia were stunned to see her.
" What are those things!?" Drizella shouted when her and her sister saw Twilight and her friends going down the steps.
" Oh pay no attention to her." Lady Tremaine told the Duke as her daughter's started to complain.
" She's just an imaginative child."
" Madam, my orders were every maiden." The Duke replied sternly as he made his way to Cinderella.
He smiled as he took her hand.
" Come my child."
He looked down at the colorful ponies standing beside Cinderella.
" Don't be afraid. They're dear friends of mine. They won't hurt you." Cinderella assured him, his concern being put at ease.
" Of course."
He led her to the chair and she sat down. He motioned his handyman, who had the slipper, and came forward.
" Don't be nervous darling." Rarity whispered to Cinderella.
" Why would she? It's her slipper." Applejack reminded her.
" Yes, but they don't know that. Also, her life will be changed forever once the slipper is on."
But Lady Tremaine didn't give up. As the handyman was coming, she put her cane out and he tripped. The glass slipper went flying and broke in front of Cinderella, the ponies, and the Duke.
" Oh no!" He exclaimed in distress as he groveled on the floor at the remaining pieces of the slipper.
Lady Tremaine smirked, pleased with herself. The ponies stared at the broken pieces and glared at her angrily. The only one who was not fazed by this was Cinderella.
" But perhaps, if it would help..." She said while reaching behind her back.
" No, no. Nothing can help now." The Duke replied sadly, picking up the broken pieces.
" But you see, I have the other slipper."
Cinderella then revealed the other slipper that she had kept that night, much to the joy of the Duke and the ponies, and to the great dismay of Lady Tremaine.
" Oh my gosh. We totally forgot she had another slipper!" Twilight said to her friends.
Jaq, Gus, and the rest of their friends cheered on top of the stairs for Cinderella while Twilight and her friends watched gleefully as the Duke put the slipper on Cinderella's foot. It was a perfect fit.
Soon enough, they were all whisked away to the castle to prepare for Cinderella's wedding. And as her friends promised, Rarity made a lovely white gown for her and Pinkie Pie made a delicious cake for the royal couple, with the rest of their friends helping out with the preparations. In return, Cinderella made them into her bridesmaids. Her animal friends were also rewarded. Jaq, Gus, and the rest of the mice became residents of the king's castle, along with Bruno and her horse Major became an imperial horse and leader of her carriage. It was a grand wedding. When the celebration was over, Cinderella and her Prince headed to their carriage to leave for their honeymoon. But not without saying goodbye to Twilight and her friends first.
" Thank you so much for helping my dream come true." Cinderella said as she embraced them.
" No need for thanks. Just wanting to help." Twilight replied.
" Have a lovely time, dear." Rarity said while she straighten out her gown.
" Before we leave, my Prince and I wanted to give a gift." Cinderella told them.
Her and the Prince, holding a big pillow in their arms, pulled the blanket off and it revealed six pairs of glass slippers, pony-sized.
" Oh...thank you." Twilight said, herself and her friends taking them and putting them on their hooves.
" Try not to lose them." Cinderella warned, her and the Prince giggling.
" We'll try." Twilight laughed, her friends too.
The Prince then opened her carriage door, the couple ready to leave.
" Goodbye my friends." Cinderella said, giving them quick kisses before getting into the carriage with her Prince.
They waved goodbye until the carriage disappeared. Twilight turned to her friends.
" Well, let's go."
" But I love these slippers." Rarity complained, sad that they would soon transform.
" Too bad. They're our key to the next jewel." Applejack told her.
While making their way out of the kingdom, they made sure to say goodbye to Jaq, Gus, and the rest of the animals.
" Good luck friends!" Jaq told them as they left.
Out in a meadow, not too far from where they were at, Twilight and her friends took off their slippers and watched as they floated into the air, spin, and transform into a blue gem.
" Goodbye glass slippers." Rarity mourned as the jewel created a portal.
" I know you loved them Rarity, but remember to stay focus on the mission." Twilight reminded her.
" You're right. Okay."
And with that, the ponies went into the portal.
