Chapter 21
Zoe decided to get ready for her night out over in Jessica's house, she'd not been for a while and this way she got the chance to see how her old friend Adam was. She remembered having a crush on the doctor, just before a certain nurse joined the team, even sharing a kiss with him. She parked her car, got her handbag and opened the door stepping out on to the pavement. Opening the gate she walked up the path then the steps leading up to the front door and rang the bell.
Jessica was struggling to choose what to wear. She wasn't really a dressy up type of woman but it was fun to get dressed up sometimes so she decided to choose a pair of white jeans, tied her hair back and wore a white tee-shirt which she teamed with a pair of flats.
Grabbing her bag she made sure she had everything she needed and then walked down the stairs.
In the pub Zoe ordered them both a vodka and coke, which she downed but Jessica didn't really like it so she switched to orange juice
20 minutes later and Zoe still hadn't come out of the toilets so Jessica walked inside and came out when she wasn't in there. Maybe she'd gone for a cigarette.
Shivering in the cold air as she had walked out from the cosy, warm club Jessica pulled on her jacket and began looking for Zoe. When she couldn't find her she sent her a message, she was panicking about her friend
Sender: Jessica
To: Zoe
Time: 22: 45
'You OK?'
She carried on searching for her after she'd sent the message, hoping to find her friend.
But what Jessica didn't know was.
Zoe Hanna was in fact lying, face down, in a pool of her own blood...
