Hermione looked up from the end of the Transfiguration Theory paper with satisfaction. They had included the exact question on the wand movements of the Vanishing Spell that she had revised for, and the 12 mark question on how to use the Switching Spell in medical transfiguration was the best part of the whole paper! What on Earth were Ryuuzaki and Light doing? She scowled in their direction. Light was fiddling with his quill staring at the ceiling and was Ryuuzaki sleeping? He must be, she could hear his quiet breathing from her desk. What in Merlin's name did they think they were doing they should be still writing or checking their papers.
Hermione huffed quietly and turned back to her desk. It was no business of hers what they were up to, if they wanted to ruin their exam then they could. In the mean time she would be reading through the paper like a normal person would.
A few days later
Hermione walked through the halls happily. It was results day finally. She went up to the board in the Great Hall where all the results for the end of year exams were posted and quickly found her name. An average of ninety-seven percent in all exams stood proudly next to her name in…second place?
She stared in horror at the rankings. Second place? What had happened? She slowly looked up the board to see who placed first.
The scream could be heard throughout all of Hogwarts.
"They got on hundred percent in everything?"
Hi. I'm alive. Apparently.
I'm am so incredibly sorry for not updating but I have been really busy with preparation for A-levels and University applications. the only reason I got to write this was because for the first time in a term I haven't had a million and on maths exercises to do for homework. I also got a job which takes up every Saturday leaving even less time for homework which is not good.
Anyway I have apparently been gone so long that the formatting has changed on FF and I can't use it, which is why there is a fancy new line and this is not in bold. Scratch that I actually just worked out how to use the bold. You highlight the text first apparently. Still can't use the line function, help would be appreciated.
In this chapter I took some liberties with how the Hogwart's exam system is. In the books they do not mention any sort of results system other than for O.W.L.S. so I did something like Japan does and put it all up on a board because I needed to have Hermione freak out at their test scores. also I modeled the Transfiguration test on the Physics tests that I have. It makes sense in my head. This chapter was prompted by Freefan1412.
Do not expect another chapter any time soon unfortunately, I have so much revision to do I might not be able to sleep.
