Back to the future?

At a hospital

Chris watched in concern, as a doctor was taking care of Cole. "What's the matter?" Cole asked, staring at him.

"Are you really okay?"

"Feeling a little guilty, huh?" Cole smirked at him.

The Whitelighter remembered him of Prue... But he couldn't be Prue's son... Prue was dead, it was impossible.

He was Piper's... Or maybe Paige's...

Cole was only sure of one thing, Chris was a Halliwell...

But who his mother was?

Chris shook his head. "This is not funny."

"You said it was an accident," the doctor said, interrupting the conversation.

Cole swallowed. "Yeah, an accident," he said firmly.

The doctor raised an eyebrow, his patient was lying. It was better to call the police... "You're lucky, the cut was relatively superficial... I'll get some pills for you, because of the pain... wait right here, I'm coming back," he said calmly.

"We need to get out of here", Chris said, as the doctor closed the door behind him.

Cole nodded and stood up. "We need to orb out..." Chris said, grabbing him by the arm and orbing them away.

A second later, they appeared in Cole's apartment. "Hey, I have my powers back. I don't need your ride anymore, Whitelighter..." Cole said, rolling his eyes.

"Sorry," Chris said. "But that doctor was about to call the police... He didn't buy your story..."

"Well, I couldn't tell him that I was stabbed by my ex-wife in the Underworld..." Cole glanced at him.

Chris sighed. "Of course not..."

"Anyway," Cole crossed his arms against his chest. "You could cast a spell on him, you know... To make him forget things..."

Chris stepped back. A spell? "What are you talking about?"

"You're a witch... I saw you in the Underworld. Telekinetic orbing is a great power, I have to say, a witch's power," Cole said with a smirk.

"How... How do..." Chris was saying then sighed. "You saw me orbing the flute..."

Cole nodded. "You're witch... Half-witch..."

"Fine, I'm a Whitelighter-witch," Chris lied. He knew exactly where this conversation was going. His father was connecting the dots.

But he was still far from the truth.

"You're a Halliwell..." Cole said. "That's why you went back in time... But my question is... Are you here to save your cousin or your brother? Because I know you are Piper's or Paige's son..."

Chris shook his head. "I can't tell you... Future is always in motion. I can't risk everything by telling you the truth."

"I understand," Cole said nodding.

Chris took in a deep breath and orbed out.

Halliwell Manor

Attic

Phoebe Halliwell was tired. Her life turned upside down after she met Cole again. And this damn empathy...

She could feel it, his love for her. However she could feel his pain and distrust... and it was breaking her heart.

"You almost vanquished him... again," Piper 's words echoed in her head.

Maybe she was right, and it wasn't safe for him to be with her.

Suddenly Chris orbed in. "Hi," he said.

"Chris," she said walking to him. "Where's Cole? He..."

"He's fine," Chris said softly. "It wasn't so bad..."

She sighed in relief. "I didn't want to hurt him... I was..."

"Under spell," he let out a slight smile. "He knows."

Phoebe shook her head. "I almost kill him, again... Maybe Piper is right, maybe..." she was saying when suddenly a portal opened up right in front of them.

Chris stepped back, his eyes widening in terror. "You..." he muttered, as woman crossed the portal.

Phoebe looked from Chris to the woman. She instantly recognized her. She was older, but her features were the same. "Piper..."

Future Piper let out a smile. "Phoebe, my dear..."

Chris swallowed. "What are you doing here?"

"Shh," Piper put her finger up to her lips. "You need to come with me... He wants to see you."

Phoebe raised an eyebrow. Her sister was weird, plus she could feel something evil around her.

"I will not go with you," Chris said firmly.

Future Piper started to laugh. "You have no choice," she said, sending an electric bolt at his chest.

Phoebe couldn't believe her eyes. "Piper, what are doing?" she asked.

"Don't worry, sis... It's for the best," she said, kneeling at Chris' knees.

She started to muttering something and a new portal opened up.

Phoebe looked at them in despair. She didn't know why, but she knew Chris was in danger. This Piper was acting weird, almost evil.

"No... Chris!"

She held her breath and, closing her eyes, jumped through the portal with them.
