Hello all! Here is the next update. This one does feel a bit rushed to me, but I didn't want to drag out her summer over chapters and chapters. I have bigger things to tackle. Her sixth year will probably two chapters and them quite a few for her seventh year. I have everything planned out. I just need to get it all focused on one thing.

Flying Summer

Today was the day of her mother's wedding. Kathleena was standing in her red cocktail dress and gold heels. Her hair was pulled up into a neat bun. She even took the time today to put on make up.

Oh if Evelyn would see me now. She would be having a fit! Kathleena thought. Her little sister was appropriately dressed an a pale blue dress and silver shoes. Her sister had her hair down and curled softly. It was hard for Kathleena to imagine that he sister was 13 and growing up.

Over the past two weeks, Kathleena got the chance to explain more to Max about her and her sister being a witch. She even lent him one of her history book on the Wizarding World to help him understand things better. She was also awaiting her results from her exams. They would be coming soon and she didn't want to miss them. Her main choice in career was being a healer or working in magical law.

"Sweetheart, are you ready?" Her mother asked coming into her room.

"Yeah, let's go," Kathleena smiled at her mother. It made her happy that her mom was finally doing something that she loved.

The ceremony was small and short. Charlotte was there and would be travelling with them to Paris when they started their tour. They would see her perform at the ballet and then move on to Berlin for two days and then head to Venice for three days. Kathleena was excited to learn that she was going to be able to take her Apparition class during the school year. She was turning 17 in late April and then she would be able to use magic legally. It would make her travelling so much easier.

Their arrival in Paris was not too exciting. After you have been in the magical world for as long as Kathleena was, flying on a plane wasn't that magical and exciting. Kathleena genuinely liked Paris and all of the sights there. She was sure to tell James about what she saw there. Watching her sister dance on the stage was something magical for her. She never realized how good her sister was at dance. After Paris was Berlin. She didn't really like this city as much, but Lydia loved it more than she liked Paris. Her mind kept on going around how things were changing for her family and that her results will be back shortly after she gets home from her trip.

After they arrived home from their trip, Kathleena relaxed until she got a letter in the mail about her results. Her eyes scanned the parchment and noticed her scores. Her letter read:

Dear Miss Kathleena Jacobs

Your scores from your recent O.W.L.s are as follows.

Potions: O
Transfiguration: O
Herbology: E
Defense Against the Dark Arts: O
History of Magic: O
Astronomy: O
Arithmancy: O
Charms: O
Divination: E

You will be eligible to take all N.E.W.T level classes for the next two years.

Sincerely,

Madam Professor Griselda Marchbanks
Governor of the Wizarding Examinations Authority

Kathleena jumped up for joy and ran to tell her mother about the good news. She was amazed that she did as well as she did. Part of her thinks that she should have been in Ravenclaw like her sister, but she was good, nonetheless.

"Mum! I got my scores!" Kathleena said handing her parchment to her mother to let her read.

"These looks very good honey! I'm so proud of you," her mother congratulated.

"What is all the noise about?" Lydia asked coming down looking beyond tired.

"I got my scores. 6 E's and 2 O's!"

"Wow, I guess you are smart," Lydia joked.

"Hey, I wan't expecting to do as well as I did. Especially in Arithmancy. That class was hard."

"Now girls, I'll be proud of both of you. Now can you help me with breakfast?"

The girls nodded and set the table. Tomorrow Kathleena would leave to go with the Potters to the World Cup. She was sure James did just as well on his exams.

The next day Harry came to her house to pick her up since he was on his way home from work.

"Hello, Mr. Potter!" Lydia said opening the door. "Leena! Mr. Potter is here!"

"I'll be right down!" Kathleena yelled grabbing her trunk and her sack to spend the rest of her summer at the Potters.

"Afternoon Kathleena," Harry said to the girl before shrinking her stuff so he could carry it.

"Ah, you must be Harry. I'm Max," Max said coming out of his office.

"Pleasure to meet you. Ready to go? We are gonna Apparate out of here. Faster travel," Harry said to Kathleena.

"Sure!" Kathleena said grabbing on to Harry. "See you on the train Lydia!"

"See ya!" Lydia said watching her sister disappear from their sight. Max stood there dumbfounded for a moment before Lydia had to explain what had happened to them.

Kathleena arrived at the Potter's house and her head felt a little funny.

"First time always feels like that. You get used to it after a while," Harry said noticing the girl holding her head.

"Thank Merlin," Kathleena said.

She entered the house and everything seemed in order. Ginny was getting dinner ready and Lily was setting the table.

"Did you get your scores?" James asked coming over to her.

"Yeah I did. How did you do first?" Kathleena asked back.

"5 O's and 3 E's," James said.

"6 O's and 2 E's."

"Nice. What were your two E's in?"

"Herbology and Divination. Yours?"

"Transfiguration, Astonomy, and Divination."

"Not bad. Now its just preparing for N. E. W. Ts ."

"Yeah. Wait, you got and O in Arithmancy?"

"Yeah, I was shocked too. I thought I was going to get an E for sure in that class."

Dinner was ready and Kathleena sat down next to James. To her a dinner like this feels normal to her and even more normal next to James.

"So I heard you did very well on our O. W. Ls . Congrats," Ginny smiled.

"Thanks. I was really worried for a moment about them," Kathleena said getting a helping of potatoes.

"So is your step-dad okay with you and your sister?" James asked knowing what her father was like.

"Yeah. He is actually curious about our schooling and such. It's a lot for him to understand all at once, but he is willing to accept that we are different and to keep our identity a secret. I'm sure he was asking Lydia questions after we Apparated away from my house."

"That's good deary. Now everyone up to bed, we have an early day tomorrow!" Ginny said using her wand to clear the table in front of them.

Kathleena was staying in Lily's room for the night and then when they get back from the World Cup, she will be staying in a guest room. She was excited to get to see the match in person. Harry mentioned that they had decent seats in the arena and everyone will be excited over who was playing. The match was what Kathleena expected it to be. Fast Chasers, Seekers looking for the snitch like there was no tomorrow, and Keepers putting up a fantastic game. Kathleena noticed that James was on the edge of his seat the entire match. She couldn't help but laugh at him a little to see how into Quidditch he was. When it was all said and done, the family went home to their house and rested up for the rest of their summer was upon them and two more years at Hogwarts awaited James and Kathleena.
