"What does this mean?" Tony asked watching as the hologram played out a crude scene of something that looked like a ritual. There was a blocky figure hovering over another block. Above those two blocks there was a full moon that dissipated to a new moon. When the new moon came, the blocky figure turned black then red began to pour out of the blocky figure down onto the block below it. When the pouring red covered the block, a portal of some kind appeared and a figure dressed as the Grim Reaper appeared scythe and all.

Molly bit her lip staring at the screen watching the scene replay over and over.

"JARVIS, let me see the script on this." Another screen appeared with the script and Molly skimmed over it. "Son of a bitch."

"What does this mean, Molly?"

"This is a ritual to bring Death to our world."

"Death is already apart of this world," Tony argued.

"No, not death as in killing and all, Death as in the actual being Death."

"Like the Grim Reaper?" Clint asked as the Grim Reaper figure appeared back on the screen that was playing out the ritual.

"Yes and no. But listen to me, this isn't good. At all. It makes sense now. This is why Wade sold me out to the vampires. He knew they had something like this."

"How does this make any kind of sense?" Fury asked looking over the hologram. Molly glared at the one-eyed man then turned to Clint.

"Remember how it was the deal? Wade helped me find my memories, I help find a way for him to die?" Clint shrugged his shoulders vaguely remembering the arrangement. "He wants to die so he can be with her. Be with Death. They can't be together because he can't die. This ritual means that he can bring her to him." Molly kept looking over the script and sighed shaking her head. "Son of a bitch."

"What?" Molly began to pace back and forth. Everyone watched her silently as she worked through everything in her head.

"The fucker fucking knew! He knew this entire time!"

"What makes you say that," Abigail asked. Molly stopped and looked at her like she was the stupidest person on the planet.

"Think about it. How did I meet Blade?" Blade frowned in such a way that he was already catching onto what she was going to say. "Wade had drugged me and I was conveniently picked up by a vampire. He finally gets me into a position to where I would be vulnerable. The vampires knew how to cripple me. They knew of my powers. Not to mention how the hell they knew where I was at that moment. I haven't been outside of New York City in a year and a half. He wasn't only using me, he was using the vampires. Dracula is trying to bring Death to this realm and that's exactly what Wade wants!"

"But if that's the case then why did he free you from your prison?" Thor inquired. Molly rubbed her temples.

"Who knows why Wade does anything?"

"Because I deciphered what was going to happen in order to get Death here." All eyes were on Wade who was currently leaned up against the wall casually with his arms crossed over his chest. He looked like there was seriously nothing wrong with what he had done. Fury and Natasha drew their guns and trained them on him. Clint pushed Molly behind him to protect her and drew his own gun. Steve stood ready for a fight along with Thor and Bruce looked a little green around the edges. Blade drew his sword standing near Molly as well while Abigail drew her bow and Hannibal readied his weapon. Tony had slipped his bracelets on ready to call on his suit at any moment.

Wade held his hands up defensively as if hoping that would make everyone calm down a little. He pushed himself up from the wall and took a couple steps forward, but stopped when everyone tightened their grips on their weapons. He turned his head to Molly.

"Yes, I knew the vampires had some kind of ritual to bring Death to this world by means of The Living Shadow. I knew of Molly's powers and maybe they would be able to find interest in her enough to where I could find out more about the ritual. As soon as I found out it was a sacrificial ritual, I had to get Molly out of there." His words threw everyone in the room off to the point to where some of them lowered their guard.

"You fucking ass hole. You set me up," Molly growled stepping beside Clint. Clint glanced at her suddenly feeling sorry for his wife. The one person during the time of her lost memories that she trusted betrayed her. He knew she was always good at hiding how she was really feeling about something, but he could see the tears working up in her eyes. Wade had truly hurt her.

"I couldn't let you know about my plan, Molly, you would have never went for it and you know it," Wade pleaded with her.

"Yeah, no shit! The vampires was draining me of my blood and treating it like heroine. Then when they were done with that, they were going to kill me to bring your girlfriend to this realm."

"You know I would never let that happen to you," Wade said daring a couple steps closer.

"You need to leave, Wade," Molly said looking away from him.

"Molly, please, you just gotta hear me out," Wade said. Molly shook her head and closed her eyes letting a stray tear run down her cheek.

"Just leave." Wade sighed lowering his head in defeat.

"I'm sorry, Molly," he said and he disappeared out of the room. Everyone slowly lowered their weapons and turned their attention to Molly. Her eyes were still closed and there was a slight tremble to her body. Clint stepped closer to her and placed a hand on the small of her back.

"You okay?" he whispered. Molly shook her head.

"I just want to be alone for a little bit." With that, she stepped into someone's shadow and fell into it. The entire room was quiet as their attention turned to Clint. Without saying a word, Clint walked from the room. He made his way to the bedroom and quietly slipped inside. He felt like being alone as well. He knew it was hard saying when he was going to be seeing Molly again. Any time she felt so hurt to where she just wanted to be away from everyone, it would be days before she would show her face. And she always came back as if nothing ever happened.

He hated that she would do things like that because he always wanted to be with her and help her through the hard times, but she had such an independence about her that she would never allow it. He laid down on the bed and debated whether or not to scream into his pillow. He frowned when he heard the shower turn on in the bathroom. He stood up and walked to the door and pressed his ear against the wood. He couldn't hear anything inside so he slowly opened the door.

"Molly?" he asked quietly.

"Go away," she said trying to sound demanding, but she wasn't fooling anybody with the sadness on her breath. Clint stepped into the bathroom and closed the door behind him. He began to strip himself of his clothes so he could get into the shower with her. He could sense her sadness in the room without even needing to see her. She had been betrayed by her best friend. The one person who helped her survive the past three years and all because he wanted to use her in a ritual to bring his girlfriend from the another realm.

He slid the curtain back and looked down to see Molly sitting in the bottom of the tub with her legs pulled up to her chest. Her arms were wrapped around her knees and her face was buried in them. Clint slipped into the shower slowly feeling a deep need to just be there with her. To hear what was on her mind. To hold her until the pain went away. She looked up at him slowly. He couldn't tell if she was crying or not because of the water running down her face.

He sat down next to her letting the water run over his body slowly. He watched her from the corner of his eye.

"Everything he ever told me. Everything that he's ever done for me. It was all a lie. He had to have known this whole time." She leaned herself against him and closed her eyes. "He knew who Remy was. I never thought about it until now. He knew who my cousin was. He could have known who I was this entire time and kept me from you," she said with her voice cracking as she kept going. Clint wrapped his arm around her and pulled her closer to him.

"All that matters is that you're here with me now. It doesn't matter what he kept from you. You still found your way back to me." Molly looked up at him and smiled. She wiped away water from her face then chuckled.

"That was really cheesy." Clint chuckled too. Molly moved herself around to where she was sitting between Clint's legs with her back pressed against his chest. Clint wrapped his arms around her waist and held her tight. He buried his head in the crook of her neck.

"I'm sorry, Clint. I should have listened to you." He kissed her skin softly.

"Yeah, you should have, but either way you wouldn't have." She grinned.

Nearly three weeks later, Tony had a plan.

Tony's plan was simple enough. At least, it sounded simple enough. Since Molly would always go into fits whenever he tried to run tests on her, he would try a different less popular method. He would hypnotize her to see if her locked away memories couldn't resurface. Everyone didn't really like the idea because they weren't sure what it was he was going to surface.

Molly lay on her back on the the couch staring up at Tony as he explained to her what was going to happen. She wasn't sure if hypnotism was going to work or not and if it did work what was it going to bring up? Clint sat nearby with his arms crossed over his chest. Tony sat on a chain near the couch to where she could see him. He began to speak in a calm manner as if to relax her.

She felt herself get lighter and lighter as the world around her became darker and darker. The typical sounds of the tower faded away. The breathing of the others faded next. The feeling of the couch on her back soon faded away and it felt like she was floating in a void. All she could hear was Tony's voice. He confirmed this by asking her if she could still hear him.

"Let's go back to when you were still being held captive. Back to when those people were experimenting on you," he said leaning back in his chair and crossed his arms. Tony looked to Clint who got a little closer so he could hear everything Molly had to say. Molly's face distorted a little as she moaned in discomfort. "Are you there?" Molly nodded slowly. "What do you see?"

"I see a light in my face."

"What do you feel?"

"Cold. It's so cold." Clint frowned looking to Tony. Tony had his eyes focused on her. Molly's lip began to quiver as if she was cold.

"Can you look around?" Molly was still for a moment then she nodded. "What do you see?"

"Computers. Monitors. I'm strapped to a bed. I'm naked." The air in the room shifted.

"Is there anyone else in the room with you?" Molly's brow knitted together as if she was trying to answer him.

"No, no there's no one." Tony frowned and just as he started to get her to try and change the scenery in her memory, she spoke up. "Wait, no. Someone is coming into the room."

"Who, who is coming into the room?" Tony pressed. Molly's breath shuddered in fear.

"It's him." Tony leaned forward.

"Who is he?" Molly's head shook slowly back and forth.

"I never knew his name." Tony frowned disappointed.

"What does he look like?" Molly whimpered.

"He's always covered. I never see him. Not even his eyes." Molly began to shift in discomfort. "No, no, please, not that again. Please I'm begging you." The sound of fear in her voice was so out of character for her. She was truly terrified. Clint's heart sank to his feet as he reached his hand out to comfort her. Tony's hand clasped onto his wrist and Tony shook his head.

"You're safe, Molly. He can't hurt you. This is nothing, but a memory." Molly didn't calm down in the least at his words. "What is he doing?"

"He's getting the needles. The needles burn. No, please, don't." Molly began to thrash on the couch and screaming. Clint tried to grab her, but Tony pushed him away.

"Don't touch her. She can hurt you or vice versa. Molly listen to my voice. When I count backwards from ten to one you will awaken." He began to wake her up and she began to scream in pain. Her back arched as she thrashed in such a way it seem as if she was restrained by something. Tony got to one and Molly shot up from the couch. Sweat immediately poured from her body and tears streamed down her face.

Her hand shot to her stomach and she rushed down a hallway into a bathroom. Clint hurried after her and watched as she emptied the contents of her stomach into the porcelain basin. She fell back and leaned up against the wall and began to sob. Clint sat down next to her and wrapped her up in his arms.

Guilt gripped him once more as he thought about all the pain she endured over the years that he thought she was dead. If he would have known she was alive, he would have not stopped until she was back in his arms. Now all he could do was sit next to her and comfort her. He couldn't make it go away. He felt so helpless with her.

Everyone else remained in the living area letting what just happened sink in.

"You know, I just had a thought," Bruce said finally breaking the silence. "I don't think they wiped her memory. I think she just blocked it out. What if what they did to her was so terrible that she forced it out in order to cope with it?"

"What in the hell did they do to her then? She was terrified. I've never even seen her nervous," Hannibal spoke up. Tony stood up and moved his chair back to its proper place.

"Either way, we won't know until we get her back under."

"Do you honestly think Clint will allow that?" Nat asked. Tony stared off at nothing, his eyes intense.

"I honestly don't think we have any other choice."
