Mortifer's breath was knocked out of him as he was slammed against a wall and Metal Sonic grabbed at his throat for the...how many times was this? How long had they been face to face with each other? How long had the two of them been flailing around trying to get an advantage over the other?

The only reason Mortifer hadn't bled out yet, or had his throat crushed, was because of his telekinesis. The only thing he could really do with that, that sound that never stopped and made it impossible to focus, was form something like a weak shield around certain parts of his body.

Metal Sonic's hand grasped around his throat again, as he tried crushing it, again. Mortifer's hand shot up and grabbed Metal Sonic's as he tried stabbing Mortifer's eye. He had barely caught it this time, his body and mind was wearing down.

Metal Sonic, though nowhere near running out of energy was dented beyond recognition almost. His metal legs and arms were bent and twisted, both optics glitching in and out, and the core in his chest sparked wildly. They were matched, both using the same moves and fighting style, both doing anything to kill the other. Several torn wires still stuck out were Mortifer had bit him a day or so ago, or what he believed had been a day ago.

Body shaking with every ragged breath he took as he strained to keep those fingers from gouging his eye, Mortifer glanced at Woodstock, and watched as Shēngcún hit the new weak points in his armor while cyborgs constantly pounded him with lasers. Woodstock was missing half an arm, a small chunk of his head as he fought vigorously against the spider, and was slowly beating Shēngcún. But that didn't matter if the cyborgs finished him off.

A tear slid down Mortifer's cheek, burning as it passed over his cut and bruised face. Woodstock was supposed to get out alive, alive! Not die down here with him, supposed to live a normal life, and restart their rock band like he always talked about and wanted.

Mortifer thought about blaming himself for not trying everything to keep Woodstock away from here, but deep down inside he knew, Woodstock would follow him till his death. And would not leave till he confirmed Mortifer had no life in him, because they, were brothers, whose bond would not be broken even after had put that program into Woodstock.

A charging sound brought his attention back to the robot trying to kill him, apparently the laser core in his chest had recharged again.

"If were going to die, were bringing every one of you with us. So you can never rule the world, and so this army will never hurt Vanilla and Cream, or the KFF. We will bring Robotnik to his knees, and make him lose, this war." Mortifer told Metal Sonic defiantly, and smiled, actually genuinely smiled! Metal simply stared at him with those red and black optics as his laser continued to charge up.

"Woodstock! Execute Fallen Angel!" Mortifer yelled at the top of his lungs, then cried out in agony as he rammed his mangled arm into Metal Sonic's core, causing the robot to convulse as it completely tore Mortifer's arm from the elbow down, to pieces effectively jamming the core.

Pushing Metal Sonic backwards Mortifer drew his revolver, and fired, collapsing as he removed the telekinetic shield around him and used it to speed up the bullet.

'I'm doing just like I promised you Peter, and I'm coming to see you, and my Father and Mother.' Mortifer's body went limp, as blood formed beneath him.

Turning away from Shēngćun, Woodstock dove for the laser cannon he had left on the floor, and pressed a pattern of buttons on it.

Shēngćun dashed towards him, swords ready to slice the weapon apart, but then jerked, his back arching, as a bullet glowing with energy blew through his head, taking it off. Pressing one final button on the weapon Woodstock set it down and opened his arm wide, and smiled as he closed his eyes.

"You know, this will suck for y'all copy cats since I can't die, despite what the author is writing." Woodstocks final words echoed as silence fell over everything and Metal Sonic flew away as fast as his thrusters could let him.

Then, the energy cell inside the weapon self destructed, setting off a blast that swept over the facility, destroying the cyborgs and everything used to create them. An energy glowed around Mortifer's body as the searing flames rolled over, devouring his body, while above the earth heaved up and down with a force no earthquake could match. Leaving nothing to tell anyone how they had stopped something that would have won the war for Robotnik, nothing to tell of how many lives they had saved, by sacrificing their own. It would be, an untold story of two brothers that helped in ending the Robotnik war.

"Huh, intriguing." Shadow, the black hedgehog with red striped quills said in a monotone voice, as another sat the tablet, displaying holographic videos back on it's stand.

"I know right! I didn't know someone with telekinesis like me could do those things!" The other one, named silver because he was, well silver in color, exclaimed excitedly. While Shadow tuned him out and ignored the young silver hedgehog as he went on.

"That Mortifer guy was able to do so many things! Pulling down skyscrapers! Feeling everything around him like a built in radar, and that energy like a tidal wave!"

Turning around rather quickly, Shadow folded his arms across his chest as Rouge the bat flew up to him and landed. Raising an eyebrow, then rolling her eyes she smirked and teased.

"Didn't know you were one for history, or friends."

Shadow gave her his signature "Hmph." before walking off. Leaving Silver talking to himself unknowingly about his theories on becoming stronger in telekinesis.

"Hey! Where do you think you're going? We just got a assignment from G.U.N!" Glancing at the tablet curiously for only a moment, she flew off after the Black hedgehog.

Finally noticing that Shadow was gone Silver muttered himself before picking the tablet up again. "It's no use explaining the power of telekinesis when he doesn't listen at all." and began watching the videos, again.
