Chapter 21 - New Years Eve Night

Kim's POV - 11:45pm

"Jack, is everything ready with the fireworks?" I asked Jack over the noise of the party,

"Yep, we've got a few guys down there that the 2nd it turns midnight, there gonna set of the fireworks," He explained and I nodded leaning into him rubbing my 7 month bumb,

"This year has gone so fast," I stated,

"I know, but 2032, is gonna be even better, because then we will finally meet our little one, who we still need to paint the bedroom by the way," He said and I nodded,

"I know," I said and he kissed my forehead,

"I was thinking instead of going out and buying everything, I could just built it like I did with Gabe," He said and I nodded,

Kat's POV - 11:50

I was sat down at one of the tables my brothers had set up around the back yard listening to the music coming out our speakers that are all around the back yard, Rudy & Bethany came 3 hours ago, but Ryland wasnt with them, It's almost 12 and I dont even think he's here, and if he is, he hasnt been looking for me, otherwise I would of found him, I've been sat here for 1 hour now,

"Hey," A voice said and I looked up to see Maddy

"Hey," I said sighing,

"Whats wrong?" She asked sitting next to me,

"I dont think Rylands here." I said looking at her, "I broke up with Jerome today, so I could be with Ryland, I havent seem him since yesterday, and I cant find him here at all," I said,

"He'll be here soon, I'm sure of it," She said rubbing my back,

"Britany isn't here either, you dont think he changed his mind and didnt show up so he could be with Britany do you?" I asked worriedly,

"No, he wouldnt do that, he wants to be with you Kat, he always has, I mean, he broke up with her the very next morning after he kissed you, your the only one that has never seen how jealous he gets when your dating or kissing someone else, heck he even hates it when you hug someone else," She said and chuckled and so did I, "He'll be here, I promise you, I gotta go find Troy okay," She said and I nodded as she walked away and I sighed resting my head on my hands,

"Hey gorgeous," A voice said from behind me and I know who it was, "You okay?" He asked me and I looked at him, "I'm guessing your angry that I'm late," He said and I just carried on looking at him, "Yeah, your mad at me," He said sitting down next to me,

"I broke up with Jerome today, I was looking forward to finally seeing you today and I even got dressed up to see you," I said annoyed,

"I know, and I'm sorry I'm late, but I have a good reason," He said and took something out of his pocket, it was a small black box, bigger than a ring box though, it had a cover on it with a picture of a red bow and he handed it to me, I hesitantly took off the cover and opened the box to see a necklace that had a silver chain and a blue diamond on it that caught the light amazingly,

"Wow, Ryland," I said shocked at how gorgeous it was, "H-how did you-, this must of cost you a fortune," I said looking at him and he shrugged,

"It doesnt matter, your worth it no matter what," He said and I smiled,

"Okay, now I feel horrible for being mean to you and thinking that you changed your mind about us and was with Britany right now," I said and he shook his head smiling,

"Your insane you know that, I would never, ever, change my mind about you or about us, and I would never chose Britany over you, no matter how pretty or amazing she is, in my eyes, your a hundred times more amazing," He said and I blushed smiling,

"Will you put it on me?" I asked and he nodded smiling,

Jack's POV - 11:56pm

"Whoa, Jack look," Kim said pointing to Kat & Ryland who were stood up with Rylands arms around her waist from behind and I raised an eyebrow, "I did not see that coming," She said and I nodded,

"Or that." I said pointing over to Nathan & Chelsea who were stood next to each other talking,

"Yeah, Bella said there gonna kiss tonight because they have no one to kiss," Kim chuckled as did I,

"So, how did it go seeing Brett?" I asked her,

"Okay, his wife & Kids are all right, but I think Bella's still a bit testy about it, I heard her telling Zack that she doesnt want Brett thinking that she'll start calling him dad if they become close," She said and I nodded,

"I'll talk to her tomorrow," I said and she nodded,

"3 minutes left!" Someone yelled and I chuckled.

Ma

Maddy's POV - 11:58pm

I was looking around for Troy when all of a sudden two arms wrapped around my waist,

"Boo!" He whispered in my ear and I smiled putting my hands over his as he hugged me closer and I giggled,

"Hey," I said as he kissed my cheek,

"Hey baby," He said and I smiled, "You having fun?" He asked,

"Yes I am, you?" I asked,

"Yeah I was but it got better the moment I got to hold you," He said and I smiled more,

"1 Minute left!" Someone yelled and I smiled,

"This is our first new years together," I said smiling,

"And theres many many more to come," He said and I smiled,

"15!"

Poppy's POV

"14 seconds!" Someone yelled,

"This is it, the start of the rest of my lives," I said to Niall who smiled wrapped his arms around my waist and pulling me closer,

"10!" Everyone yelled,

Peyton's POV

"Peyt!" Drake said as he walked over to me,

"I thought you werent coming," I asked confused,

"I wanted to see you," He said and I smiled,

"9!"

Nicole's POV

"Here's to out first New Years together," Jason said wrapping his arms around my waist.

"8!"

Lola's POV

"Your amazing." Christopher whispered in my ear and I smiled.

"7!"

Wyatt's POV

"Happy New Year Jess," I said to Jessica smiling,

"Happy New Year Wyatt!" She said wrapping her arms around my neck,

"6!"

Freddy's POV

"Happy New Years Millie," I said

"Happy New Years Freddy." She said,

"5!"

Kat's POV

"Happy New Years Kat!" Ryland said,

"Happy New Years Ryland," I said smiling,

"4!"

Bella's POV

"Happy New Years Baby" Zack said and I smiled

"Happy New Years Zacky." I said smiling,

"3!"

Kim's POV

"Happy New Years Kimmy," Jack said smiling,

"Happy New Years Jackie!" I said smiling,

"2!"

Julie / Grace / Anna / / Kelsey / Bethany's POV

"Happy New Years!" I said to my husband,

"Happy New Years!" Milton / Jerry / Eddie / Nick / Rudy said to their respective partners,

"1 Happy New Years!"

No One's POV

And just like that the lock stroke midnight on new years day, 1st of January 2032,

Kim & Jack, Julie & Milton, Anna & Eddie, Jerry & Grace, Rudy & Bethany shared a kiss just like there kids did,

Troy & Maddy, Bella & Zack, Nathan & Chelsea, Peyton & Drake, Nicole & Jason, Noah & Saige, Wyatt & Jessica, Millie & Freddy, Lola & Christopher, Poppy & Niall, & Ryland & Kat, but none of them new the journeys to come in this new years, surprise visitors, deaths, pain, heat ache, but also happiness and joy and gift of a new life, or lives in this case, Happy new years everybody!

Hope you liked it! I know its late, but my dads laptop stopped working for a bit so I could upload it, thankfully it started up again about an hour ago, and I uploaded it as soon as I could, anyway, not sure when the next chapter will be out but hopefully soon xx
