Author's Note: Hey guys. I'm back. I know I made you wait and I apologize for that. But I'm back and I'll be continuing this story. I have to tell you ahead of time that I've been reading yaoi this past few months and there is a possibility that I might write one but let's not get ahead of ourselves. That's way too far in the future but in the meantime please read.
Rin wrapped the blanket around her that she looks like a cocoon. Sesshomaru was kind enough to give her sometime before asking her any sort of questions. Closing her eyes the event came rushing back that she can feel her hands tremble as she clutched the blanket.
"Rin?" a sudden voice made her eyes open wide.
'Kagome?' she can recognise her voice even though it's a whisper. Rin sat up and stare at Kagome pecking at the door. "Kagome?"
"I thought you are sleeping?" Kagome came in and shut the door. "Sesshomaru said you are not feeling well that he ask me if I could talk to you. What happened?"
The moment Kagome sat on her bed Rin flung herself to her into a tight hug. Kagome was surprise for a moment but proceeded to calm her friend. She rubbed her back to calm her down a bit before asking her what truly happened.
"What happened?" Kagome asked after Rin calm down. "I was a bit worried when you didn't call to update me if you arrive safely."
"I-I met Hakudoshi," that was all Kagome need to know to fully understand the situation.
"Did he do something to you?" Kagome asked in panic. She knows how Rin reacts every time she meets that guy. This could not be good. Seeing that guy now spells bad omen.
Rin shook her head not wanting to do on detail right now. Because of her pass experience with that guy her body will froze every time she made contact with that man.
"You better rest now and you can talk about this tomorrow," Kagome feel her friend nod. "Sleep so that you can regain your strength."
Once Rin was settled Kagome exited the room and found Sesshomaru leaning on the wall in the hallway.
"She's sleeping now," Kagome informed and only got a nod as a reply. Taking that as a sign to continue she decided to tell him what she learned. "Rin met the nightmare of her life."
Using such word to describe someone sparked Sesshomar's curiosity and animalistic instinct. Someone dares to hurt what is his?!
"Who?" a short but impatient question.
"It's Hakudoshi," Kagome informed. "Ever since that guy step in to her life it became harder for her."
"Hakudoshi?" Sesshomaru repeated as if trying to remember something.
"Do you know him?" Kagome asked but instead of having a reply Sesshomaru left the question hanging. "Never the talkative one huh?"
"So what happened to her?" a voice questioned her from behind. "Did she say something?"
"She met the villain of her life, Hakudoshi," Kagome answered fully knowing who asked. "Does it ring a bell?"
"It does sound familiar but I'm not sure," Inuyasha answered thoughtfully. "Why do you asked?"
"I got a feeling Sesshomaru knows something," Kagome answered while looking at the hall where the dog demon disappeared. "Anyway, I better leave now."
"I'll give you a lift," Inuyasha suggested before he can stop his mouth. 'Crap, just went out from nowhere.'
He tried to look natural as he stares at her surprise expression. Guess she was not expecting that too. Wanting to retract his suggestion in fear of being rejected, Kagome smiled and nodded.
"Sure, I would take the offer," Kagome smiled after recovering from her shock. "Thank you for the offer."
Inuyasha nodded and ushered her outside to his car. Maybe she is not that bad to be with.

Once the two disappeared Sesshomaru slowly opened Rin's door to take a peak. Seeing her fast asleep he walked towards her bed and examined her sleeping form. She looked more relax now and sleeping peacefully. Remembering what Kagome told him a while back gives him a feeling that he doesn't understand. He feels betrayed and distrusted that she didn't tell him about it.
"N-n-no," it sounded like a moan coming from the sleeping form. "S-stay back."
Sesshomaru was alarmed as Rin's facial features contorted in fear. Instinct kick in and before he can stop himself , his hand was already stroking her hair and his lips are few inches away from her ear ready to whisper sweet nothings to calm her.
"Hush Rin," he said in the most soothing way he could master. "I'm here."
The said girl groaned as if trying to recognize the voice.
"Ses-maru?" she barely whispered as her face relaxed again. "Whe-ere?"
"It's alright I'm right here," this time he hold her hand to make her feel that he's really there. "Hush now. Go to sleep."
Rin turned to face the side where Sesshomaru is and sigh contently. Making sure that she's fully asleep again Sesshomaru traced his fingers against her cheeks. His long clawed fingers feel like it's touching a fragile thing. In her state right now she is and somehow he wanted her to tell him freely what she is afraid of so that he could protect her. She is his wife after all and it's his responsibility to protect her from all harms that could come her way.
"My wife," the taste of the words in his tongue didn't offend him more like he like the sound of it. 'That's right you're my wife and no else.'
Leaning closer to her, he gave a chaste kiss on her lips. After doing so he licked his lips and tasted the lingering warmth from Rin's lips. Sweet just the words that came out from his mouth and it spell 'his'. Feeling content he let go of her hand and walked towards the door but before fully exiting the room he spared a last glance to his wife.
"Good night, my wife," he close the door with a satisfy smile. 'Or maybe my soon to be mate.'
Author's Note: I know that this doesn't satisfy you but this is all I could give for now. Examination week was just finished and I'm a bit trapped in the middle of something. Hope you like it guys.
