Young Dracula Season 4: Outtakes
Hurray, no writer's block for this one. So onwards
I don't own Young Dracula.
Guilt – based between episodes 10 and 11 of season 4
"Bats!" Vlad muttered to himself as Erin flitted out. "This is all my fault," he murmured to himself
Vlad had done something unimaginable. He had mind wiped the slayers.
Surely that's a good thing, part of him told him.
Vlad shook his head. He knew it wasn't it couldn't be. If anyone found out…
That thought made Vlad feel ill, because he knew well if they did find out it would probably be the end of the human race.
Vlad laughed to himself, just like Sethius had planned. Sethius had failed and probably would have been stopped by the slayers sooner or later… but he could fix it with the click of his fingers. It was ironic, how the treaty had started with Sethius and now the probable end of it, related to Sethius again.
He turned around heading down to the basement, down there he might be able to think.
When he got to the blood mirror room, he found Wolfie curled up in a ball, his large bear in his owns. He was staring into the mirror, looking at his reflection which was a black dog.
Vlad stepped over, slid down to sit next to his brother and crossed his legs.
"Are you alright Wolfie?" he asked softly.
Wolfie nodded unwillingly.
"Are you sure?" He asked concerned. "You don't usually hide like this."
"I'm scared," he whispered. "The slayers were meant to come, and Erin isn't herself and I…"
"Go on," Vlad encouraged, he knew he would rather help his brother right now than think of his own problems. HE wanted to not be selfish for once.
"I don't like Malik, I am hiding from him. He is trying to get dad's attention," Wolfie finished looking almost tearfully at the mirror.
Vlad faked a sigh, he didn't bother to stop Wolfie calling the Count 'Dad', because from what Wolfie had told him, it sounded like the Count was a better father than Patrick would ever be. "I know he is Wolfie. He's trying to undermine me."
"He's trying to what?" Wolfie looked at him, confused.
Vlad smiled slightly. "I sometimes forget how young you are Wolfie. Undermine means to make look weaker."
"So you think Malik is trying to make you look weak. Why?" Wolfie asked innocently.
"Probably to get the Dracula throne," Vlad guessed.
"You have enough to deal with," Wolfie said maturely. "You shouldn't have to cope with that old bat too."
Vlad raised his eyebrows at the term 'old bat' and laughed.
"I wish I could help," he said sadly.
Vlad shook his head, now serious. "No Wolfie. I don't want you to get in the middle, not after what happened with Ingrid and Sethius. They both almost hurt you. I don't want that to ever happen."
Wolfie looked at his older brother and gave him a faint smile. "Thanks Vlad…" he paused. "You have something on your mind"
Vlad faked a sigh again. Wolfie could read him almost as well as Erin. His brother seemed to know him, extremely well given they hadn't officially met until a few months ago.
"Yeah," he admitted. "I have done something incredibly stupid Wolfie."
"What?" hew cocked his head. Vlad thought for a moment and decided to tell him. Wolfie would never tell on him. Erin on the other matter would, so he might as well tell Wolfie.
"I wiped all knowledge of vampire from the memory of the slayers," he told him looking at his sibling seriously. "Only Jonno remembers."
Wolfie frowned. "And that's bad."
Vlad laughed almost manically. "Yes Wolfie. That's the thing, from our view, the view of a vampire it seems like a good thing. But from the view of breather, it's bad because there is no one left to protect them from us."
"Then vampires could kill them all," he guessed. "That would be very bad."
"Exactly," Vlad admitted.
"Can you put it back?"
"Probably," Vlad shrugged. "But if I do, the treaty will probably be over. So either way there is a problem."
"Oh," Wolfie bit his lip.
"If only Bertrand were here," Vlad sighed. "HE could help me."
"You dusted him," Wolfie pointed out.
"I know." Vlad admitted. "I think I keep on making fatal mistakes."
What Wolfie said next was probably the nicest thing Vlad had heard in a long time, and knew he would never forget it.
"It'll be okay," Wolfie assured his older sibling. "Because you always have a plan. Because we all love you and wouldn't let anything happen. Then everything will be good and we will happily ever after."
Vlad smiled at his brother and pulled him into a hug.
"Thank you Wolfie," he whispered in his ear.
This wasn't how I exactly planned it, but I thought I might include Wolfie because I love his character so much.
Thank you for reading and please review!
