Hey guys, I wanted to make a chapter in case I can't tomorrow. So, it's Halloween and everyone's like going trick-or-treating and shit, so yeah. OHH, did anyone go trick or treating? I did. I went as a pirate, hehe. This chapter has lots of POVs, so FYI. Well, I own no one but my own character, Isabelle. Enjoy!
Percy's POV
"Hey, Perce, what are you going as?" Isabelle said, flipping through some channels on the TV. "Aquaman. You?" I asked. "Cookie monster. Chaise is Elmo, Flavia is Big Bird. " she replied. "Well, it's 4:00. You gonna get ready?" I asked. "Yeah." The front door opened. "Hey Mom." I said. "Hi Sally!" Isabelle chirped. "Are you kids getting ready?" Mom asked. "Yeah." we said. "Say, Isabelle, you've been coming here sometimes, where do you live?" Mom asked. "Um, well, with an old friend, who kinda homeschools me, and sometimes we talk." she replied. "I thought you said you were on the track and swim team." I said. "Oh...uh, yeah, well...I actually just run with Pico and I swim in the community indoor pool." she said slowly. "Why don't you stay here?" Mom said. "Yeah, it's okay." I said. "Well, I don't know. Is it okay with Paul?" Isabelle asked. "We've been wanting a new addition to the family, anyways. And you'll also be going to school with Percy." Mom said sweetly. "Well, I also have Pico." Isabelle said unsure. "He can be some protection." I said. "Thanks, Sally, Perce. I really appreciate you guys doing this." she said. "No problem, sis." I said, my mom and I hugging her. "Okay, I'll make some cookies while you guys get ready." Mom said. "Oh, your cookies are amazing." Isabelle said. "Aww, but get ready you two. Don't wanna miss the candy." "Okay." we said. "Where are we meeting the others?" Isabelle asked. "Uh, Times Square." I said "Alright." she said going to her room. A rainbow shimmered in my room. "Percy, where are you guys? It's me, Piper, Thalia, Nico, Chaise, Mark, Flavia, Valentino, Nate, and Zach." Annabeth said. "We're getting ready. Hold on." I reassured her. "Percy, who's that?" Mom shouted. "It's Annabeth." I shouted back. "Oh. Well, I made a batch of cookies so bring them with you." she shouted again. "Kay." I said. "Well, what time will you get here?" Annabeth asked. "Probably around, uh, 4:45." I said. "It's 4:25. Hurry, they're about to start." she said. "Okay, well I'll see you." I said. "Bye." Annabeth said, cutting her hand through the rainbow. (an: they're seeing some cosplay of demigod warriors and going trick or treating) "Sis, you almost done?" I said. "Yeah, just putting some eyeliner." she replied. "You never put eyeliner." I said. "I only wear it for special occasions. Plus, I need some makeup to get good free stuff." she said. "Annabeth says they're gonna start soon." I said. "Look at yourself." she said, getting out of the bathroom. I looked down. I was still in pajamas. "Crap." "Yeah. Now go get ready. You don't have to put on makeup." she said turning back. "Right." I said, rushing to get my costume on.
Annabeth's POV
"Where are they?" Piper asked. "Getting ready. Any luck to Jason and Leo?" I said. "They're coming. Nate, Mark, any luck on the others?" "Avis is sick. Stacy and Halley are coming." Mark said. A car drove by us and parked. "Hey." Jason said. "Iron man is here!" Leo announced. "Okay, that just leaves Percy and Isabelle and Stacy and Halley." I said. A mild blush of fire erupted. "Leo?" I asked. "Wasn't me." he said. "Hello!" two voices said in unison. "AHH!" I yelped. "Relax, it's just us." I turned. It was Stacy and Halley said. "Wha-How did you do that?" Piper stammered. "It's a Hestia thing." Halley said, with that Luna Lovegood accent. "Okay, now just Percy and Isabelle." I said. A blue sedan roared by us. "HEY!" Stacy shouted. The car stopped. Out came Percy and Isabelle. "Sorry guys, we had a little costume "incident"." Isabelle said smiling. "Don't tell them." Percy muttered. "Okay, okay, I won't." Isabelle said giggling. "We'll find out." I said. "Okay, here's your copy of House of Hades by Rick Riordan." a person in armor said, handing us a book. "Doesn't seem too interesting." Percy said. "I'm here to see their impression of us." Jason said. "I'll give it a chance." Isabelle said. "Let's go in." Piper said.
~After the play~
Isabelle's POV
"Did the old demigods really look that cheesy?" Percy asked. "It was 2 hours long! Usual cosplays take about 30 minutes!"Annabeth sighed. "It was so bad, I'm up to page 465 in the book." I said. "At least now we can go for the candy." Leo said. "Leo, I need to talk to you." I said. "Wha?" he responded. "Just come." I said, marching to a corner. "What do you need?" he asked. "Did you land on Ogygia during the trip to Epirus?" I asked. "Yeah, but-" he said. I cut him off saying, "Did you take her off the island yet?" "Oh, fuck, I for..." he faltered. "You know what? I'll get her myself." I said, my heart racing. "How, you're not-" "I may not be a guy, but I am a hero." I marched off, finding a source of water. "You do too much things by yourself. I'm coming with you." Leo said, catching up to me. "No." I said. "But-" "No, stay here and give me your compass and I'll be fine." "Well, take a piece of me with you then." Leo said, handing me his magic tool belt. "Okay. Wish me luck." I said, kissing him. "Sis, where you going?" Percy asked. I turned to my brother and looked him in the eyes. "Ogygia." I said, sprinting to the nearest source of water.
"Take me to Ogygia." I said, pouring every bit of anger into my concentration. (an: When she really needs to break through a magical barrier, Isabelle uses anger to break through) I thought of what made me angry, my stepfather, Eric, my old ex, Leo not telling me about it, cat lovers. I tumbled through a mist tunnel and ended up in the sea. "Ugh." I said swimming to the surface. I got up and pressed my hands to my temples. I looked at my costume. It was covered with seaweed. "Great. $15 wasted." I said. I looked at the island I crashed into. Pristine, white, what it was in the book. I looked at Leo's compass. "Hello?" I called. "Hello?" I called again. "Who is there?" a feminine voice, probably Calypso, said. "Um, Isabelle, daughter of Poseidon?" I said. She stepped out of the cave. She was surprised I was here. "You are a female?" she asked. "Um, yes." I said. "My first female visitor." she said. "I'm here to take you back to the mainland." I said. "No. Sadly, this is my prison as well as-" "Your home. We made the gods swear on the Styx to set you free. Maybe we just need to let someone let you go." I said. She looked at my belt. "Is that..." she faltered. "Yes." I answered. "Is he alive?" she asked. I nodded, "Very much, yes." She frowned, but smiled again. "Well, that explains why my servants are getting excited and packing my things." she said. "Well, got your stuff?" I said. "Yes. But are you sure this will work?" she asked. "I'll try to see if I can block the magic barrier with water magic. One of the perks of being best friends with a Hecate camper." I said. "O̱keanoús spásei thýella kai ta kýmata xesi̱ko̱thoún gia na katastrépsei af̱tó to magikó spí̱laio gia ti̱n apelef̱théro̱si̱ to̱n kratouméno̱n apó katára kai to spíti ti̱s kai exolethrév̱ei to empódio tou thólou." I chanted. I concentrated on breaking the dome and ignoring the pain growing in my arms. Calypso began to sing. It reminded me of those inspirational songs that kept me going. I thought of the strong ocean, my dad, and Percy. I pushed all my power and sealed the barrier. "Oghhh..." I groaned and then passed out. The last image I saw was Calypso running towards her cave.
Piper's POV
"Ogygia." Isabelle had said. She went to Ogygia. All of us were amazed of what she did. The first girl hero ever to go to Ogygia. "I don't know if she can do this." Percy said, concerned. "She fought for our camp. She can do it." Annabeth said. "I have to patch things up with Calypso." Leo said. "Me too." Percy agreed, looking miserable. "She took the chance, Percy. She will make it back." I said. "Yeah, dude. Pretty good for a 15 year old." Jason said. "She can do it Perce. She's your sister." Nico said. "And our best friend." Flavia and Chaise said. "I don't know, Ogygia is tough magic." Percy said. "She's our sibling." Nate said. "She will make it. I know." I said pouring charmspeak into my words. "She can do it." he said, his shoulders relaxing a little. "So who's up for some trick or treating?" I asked. Everyone said, "Oh, yeah."
Isabelle's POV
I woke up and my arms were incredibly stiff but I managed to get up. "So she wakes." a voice said. I turned around. "Did you-" "Yes." "And I'm-" "Yup". "And we're-" "About to go." Calypso finished. We laughed. Just a simple genuine laugh. "Shall we go?" I asked. "You do not want to put on your clothes?" she said. I looked at my clothes. A Greek style dress with a blue belt. Nice choice of style. She handed me my costume. It was brand new, smelled like lilies, and super fluffy. "Wow. Thank you." I said. "No, you made the risk of coming here yourself, even knowing that no woman has gone here before." Calypso smiled. "It's nothing. Well, excuse me for a second I need to go change." I said. "Yes." she said turning back to her cave. I put on my blue cookie monster costume. "Are you ready?" Calypso asked. "Yes." I said. "Do you have your things?" I asked. "Yes." she said. She was only carrying a small bag filled with yarn and fabrics. "Will I ever be able to return?" she asked. "I don't think so." I said. "Good." she said, a tear falling down her cheek. She quickly wiped it away. She held my shoulders. We passed through the mist and into New York.
Leo's POV
A drop of water splashed our heads. "Did you guys feel that?" I said. "Yeah." Piper said. "She's here?" Percy asked, a little too loudly. Two girls came from the bathroom. "ISABELLE!" Percy shouted, running for his sister. "Whoa, whoa, Perce." she said, patting his back. "So. He is your brother?" Calypso asked. "Yeah. I'm sorry about-" Calypso hugged Percy. Not in a romantic, boyfriend kinda way, but the lost-friend-I-missed kinda way "You are here. In front of me." she said. "I'm sorry, I should've checked on you, I should've looked out for everyone I promised." Percy sighed. "It's alright now. I may explore the world, thanks to your sister." she said. "Thank you. For freeing me. I have the spirit of a bird now." she said. "Did you guys get stuff without me?!" Isabelle exclaimed. "Yeah, um..." Percy faltered. "Don't worry, Iz. I got you stuff too." I sad. "Oh, thanks Leo." she said. "Well, you survived." Calypso said, looking at me with those almond brown eyes. "Yeah." I said. "You remembered." she said. "Yep." I said. "Thank you." she said, kissing my cheek. "Isabelle, you have earned yourself a new friend. Just sing when you want to talk." she said. "I will." Isabelle said, smiling. "You should join the Hunters." Thalia said. "Thank you. But I prefer to be free." Calypso said. "Goodbye." She waved. We waved back. She walked into the crowd of people and disappeared. "Are you okay?" Percy said, inspecting Isabelle's limbs. "Percy, I am fine. My arms are just stiff." Isabelle said. I kissed her, like the romantic, sexy boyfriend I am. "Next time, do not run away from me like that." I said. "Guys I'm fine. Now let's go get more stuff." she said.
~8:00~
"Let's go through our stuff." Percy said. "Hm. SCORE! Free Iphone." Valentino said. "Dang it. Passcode." he said. "Let me see." Isabelle said. She tapped a few buttons and it came to the home screen. "Emergency call hack. Works every time." she said. We all got one. Isabelle went through hers and didn't find any. "Aww. I don't have one." she frowned. "Oh, I have two, here you go, sis." Nate said. "Thanks, lil bro." she smiled. "Guys can I show you tomorrow? I'm sleepy and tomorrow's a new day." Isabelle said. "Okay. Good night everyone!" Percy said. "Night, babe." I said. "So we're at that phase now, huh?" she said, wrapping her arms around my neck. "We've been dating for 2 months. I think we are." I said, putting my arms around her waist. "Fair enough. Night babe." she said kissing me.
So, yeah, I finished HoH on Thursday. I'm now mad cuz of dat one year wait. Rick is the biggest troll of all but we still love him. Hehe, so sometimes when I feel like answering you guys I'll put it here, but I just have two of you so yeah. Lollo: Yeah, I'm sorry if that was kinda racist but I just heard it on a TV show.
