The next morning Hinata awoke to a strange sight. A snoring Uchiha. Giggling slightly the young bluenette tried to carefully remove Sasukes strong arms from around her so she could go to the bathroom. Sasuke wasn't having any of it.
"Mhm don't go" the Uchiha's muffled voice was heard, causing Hinata to blush a bright red.
"Ah Sasuke kun I need to use the bathroom" still blushing she felt Sasuke's grip loosen
"Hn hurry"
Feeling butterfly's burst in her stomach the young teen hurried to the bathroom. Wanting to get back to the bed just as much as Sasuke wanted her too.
Sasuke was never a morning person. And he knew it. But he concluded that if his mornings consisted of the blushing Hinata he could really come to love mornings. Who wouldn't if they got to see her tomato like face in the morning? The irony of it all was he has always loved tomatoes!
Shifting slightly in the hospitals bed, which was a terrible bed by the way. The Uchiha heard the door creak open. Glancing towards the door to see if Hinata had returned he realised this person is the furthest thing from Hinata possible.
"Sasuke Kun you're okay?" The pinkette questioned
"What the fuck are you doing here?" Sasuke snapped back
He unconsciously noted the tears at the edge of her eyes. Concluding she deserved everything she got he continued.
"Are you going to tell them who started the fire or am I?" Green eyes widened at this statement.
"No Sasuke kun! I didn't start the fire, they found out the truth. Someone had left an oven on in food class. It wasn't me I swear. I didn't know that would happen when I locked Hinata in the closet! You can't blame me!"
Before Sasuke could reply, someone interrupted
"Sakura san" It was Hinata
"Hinata!" Sakura faced the Hyuuga before breaking out in to tears
"Hinata I am so sorry I never meant for this to happen I swear!"
When Sasuke saw the look on Hinata's face he knew that she had indeed forgiven Sakura. Just when he was about to criticize her for it he stopped, because he realized this is one of the reasons she is so special. One of many reasons he fell in love with her.
"Sakura I forgive you for what you did but… promise me you won't ever do this to anyone ever again. You may not have wanted for it to get this far but if you open the door to evil, it's often hard to close it."
Sakura's green eyes lit up with understanding, before hugging the Hyuuga. Surprising Sasuke and Hinata in the process.
"Hinata you truly are an amazing person. I can understand why Sasuke fell in love with you and not me"
Hinata returned the hug, albeit awkwardly. Smiling slightly Sakura said her goodbyes and left.
"So you're not going to tell the police?" Sasuke questioned
Gasping in shock, Hinata replied "Of course not Sakura could be sent to prison!"
"I think that's the point Hinata. What she did, was beyond stupid and could have gotten you killed"
Slightly giggling Hinata replied
"Yeah but we can't punish the stupid, they didn't choose the be stupid"
Smirking Sasuke bent down and slowly kissed her. Before he felt Hinata withdraw and heard her speak once again.
"Besides I had my hero to save me" Giggling at Sasuke's new nickname, she recaptured his lips in a golden embrace
