So...it's been a while. Like, years.
You might not even remember this story, it was so long ago the last time I updated. I could flood you with a thousand excuses as to why I stopped writing it, but none of them really matter. The only reason I decided to write this is because of how loyal and supportive the readers of this story were.
I'm writing this quick little update to let you know:
1) Unfortunately, it does not look like I will be continuing/ finishing this story. It was amazing and fun to work on years ago, but I feel like I've matured too much as a writer to just pick up where I left off. I mean, maybe some day in the distant future when I am feeling old and nostalgic and I miss Mary Alice I will come back to it. But for now, it is over. (If you are like me and have a dying need to know what happens to the characters when a story is discontinued, even if its just in a couple paragraph description, you can PM me and I will do my best to give you what I envisioned for the rest of the story.
2) This is the main reason that I am posting this update. I just want to let all of you know that I am currently working on a NEW Phantom of the Opera story, 'Rise from the Ashes'. You can find the description and the first two chapters posted on my account. Oh yeah, I have a new username, too. Wow, a lot has changed.
Anyways, thank you for reading this and following New Angel for so many years. That was my first ever fanfic, so it means a lot that, even back then, it got as much attention as it did. And it would also mean a lot if you would check out my new story, too. I'm really excited about it, and I think you will all like it.
