Help - Papa Roach
All eyes turned to Haruhi as she entered the music room. She makes her way slowly through the music room, heading towards Kyoya.
"U-um Kyoya-senpai?"
Slightly widened eyes behind slender frames looked down at Haruhi "Yes Haruhi?"
"I need to talk to you"
(I think I need help. I'm drowning in myself)
The hosts all stared in awe as Haruhi and Kyoya moved to a separate side of the room.
"Before you say anything Haruhi, I want you to know that I have no intention of pushing you the way I did before"
"What?"
"The staying with a fellow host, I'm not going to enforce that any longer, I don't think it helped. Actually, I think that if anything it hindered any kind of progre-"
"No"
"No?"
"Keep doing it. You gotta get worse before you get better right? Let's just continue right where we were."
"Haruhi, are you-"
"Yes, I'm sure senpai. Please just help me get over this. I can't do it alone" Haruhi said, finally looking up at Kyoya, him just now being able to see her heavy bags and dark circles.
But behind that, he saw determination. A re-lit spark in Haruhi's eyes to overcome. It's been too long since he had seen that spark. "Ok, do you want to start today?"
"Yes"
(Did someone turn the lights out? Or is it just another dark cloud in my head?)
A few moments pass after their discussion, both of them somewhat relieved to be reigniting their previous efforts. Both of them also felt a bit of fear, unsure about what restarting this therapy might bring up, but willing to risk it. "I'll let the others know then," Kyoya says before calling all of the hosts to him. Haruhi nods as they all gather around. She sighs softly before she looks up. "Haruhi has decided to go back to how we were doing things before"
"Are you sure Haru-chan?"
"Yeah. I mean the nightmares haven't fully gone away so hopefully, if I go through this fully it will help."
"Wait, so does that mean she's going home with the boss?"
Haruhi nods a little "I still have to finish out my week with him" she says before looking at Tamaki a bit sheepishly "If you're ok with that senpai"
Tamaki's face turned a slight pink as he nodded "Yes, it's fine" he cleared his throat softly before standing "After all Haruhi, a girl needs her father, I will be here for you."
"Ok then" Haruhi grabbed her things and waited for Tamaki to be ready to leave.
(I'm cut deep, my heart won't beat. Deep down low it's killing me)
"Tamaki, may I speak with you for a moment?" Kyoya said softly to Tamaki before leading him away from the group
"Sure Kyoya, is something wrong?"
"No, I just want you to be sure you can do this. It could possibly make Haruhi have another terrible nightmare and I just want to make sure you will be able to calm and comfort her"
Tamaki thought for a second, he blushes a little as he remembers how he calmed her down last time, and whether or not he believed he could do it again. After a few moments of thought, he looked back at Kyoya. "Kyoya, I will do whatever I have to do to make her feel comfortable. I want her to stop having these nightmares. It pains a father to see his daughter in such agony"
"Ok Tamaki, as long as you are sure"
"Are you ready to go Haruhi?" Tamaki had finished all of his host duties and gathered his school belongings.
"Ya senpai, and, for what it's worth, I'm sorry to put you through this again"
"Haruhi, like any good father, I want you to feel better" He smiled to her innocently "You have nothing to be sorry for, I'm just happy you're accepting our help again" He looked down a little as they walked before muttering, "I thought we almost lost you"
"Senpai…" Haruhi said softly, looking up at him
He feigned a smile as he looked to her "It's nothing Haruhi, you're back now and that's what matters. Right now we just have to focus on you getting better and you're mental health."
"Ya" Haruhi sighed a little
(I think I need help, 'cause I'm drowning in myself. It's sinking in, I can't pretend that I ain't been through hell. I think I need help)
'But will it ever be the same again?' she thought as they got in the limo.
(I'm thinking to myself "No, not again" and I won't keep listening)
(Hey guys! I'm sorry for such a short chapter. Don't worry, she still gets guy time!)
