Chapter 21: The Final Moments

The battle was finally over. Voldemort was dead. The Elementals looked around the Great Hall at all their friends and all the survivors sat and just talked to each other.

"I can't believe it," Amelia said.

"I know, but we actually did it," Chelsea replied.

"What's going to happen with us now?" Bethany asked.

"I don't know," Jimmy stated.

"We'll eventually have to go home," Samantha said.

"When though?" Bethany asked.

"I don't know," Samantha said.

"Hey guys, look who's still here," Jimmy said looking at the other end of the Great Hall.

The Malfoy's were sitting in the corner of the Great Hall. They looked like they were feeling kind of awkward even just being there.

"I wonder why they're still here," Bethany said.

"Well, they were looking for Draco," Samantha stated.

"Well, they found him," Chelsea confirmed.

"They look like they have no idea why there still here," Amelia commented.

"Yeah, they do," Jimmy agreed.

"Hey Chelsea, do you have any remedies left?" Samantha asked.

"Yeah, I've got plenty of them, why?" Chelsea asked.

"They look like they got hurt, like all of us," Samantha stated. "I think they deserve some kind of medical help like the rest of us."

"You're right," Chelsea said handing her two of her remedies. "Do you want me to come with you?"

"No thanks, I'll be okay," Samantha said walking over to the Malfoys.

Samantha walked over to the Malfoys. The first thing she did look at Draco.

"So, you finally found your way out I see," She said.

"Looks like I did," Draco replied.

"This is for all of you," Samantha said handing Draco Chelsea's remedies. "These two of Chelsea's remedies; they'll help you get rid of all your cuts and bruises."

"Thank you," Narcissa Malfoy said.

"Don't mention it," Samantha said. "You did help Harry after all."

"What's going to happen to the five of you now?" Lucius Malfoy finally spoke.

"Well, now that Voldemort is gone, our mission is complete," Samantha stated. "So we're going to go home, probably soon. The others don't realize it yet though."

"So you're actually leaving?" Draco questioned.

"Yes we are," Samantha replied.

"Well, it's not going to be the same with all of you around," Draco said.

"Thanks, that means a lot," Samantha said.

"What are you going to do until you leave?" Malfoy asked.

"I guess just say our goodbyes to everyone," Samantha stated. "We need to talk to someone important before we go though. Want to meet him?"

"Why?" Malfoy asked.

"Believe me, you'll want to meet him," Samantha stated.

"Alright, I guess I've got nothing to lose by meeting this person," Draco said.

"Okay then, I'll just go get the others then," Samantha said.

Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

The Elementals, the familiars, the Trio, and Draco were walking down the bridge of the castle. Harry was holding the Elder wand in his hand. Ron kept glaring at Draco the whole time, but that's all he did. Samantha threatened to beat him up if he did anything more.

"Why didn't it work for him?" Hermione asked. "The Elder wand?"

"It answered to somebody else," Harry stated. "When he killed Snape, he thought the wand would become his. But the thing is, the wand never belonged to Snape. It was Draco who disarmed Draco that night in the astronomy tower."

"Then you disarmed Draco at Malfoy Manor," Amelia confirmed.

"So that means…," Chelsea said.

"It's mine," Harry confirmed.

"What are we going to do with it?" Ron asked.

"We?" Hermione questioned.

"That's the Elder wand, the most powerful wand in the world." Ron confirmed. "With that, we'd be invincible."

Harry looked at the wand for a minute. He grabbed both ends of it, about to snap it in half when Samantha said something.

"Harry, wait," She said.

Harry stopped what he was doing and looked at her.

"Don't break it," Samantha said. "I know somebody else's hands it'd be better in."

"Who?" Draco questioned.

Suddenly a huge beam of light appeared in front of them, and who was standing before everyone, Grandpa Merlin, who else?

"You…Are you Merlin?" Draco asked.

"Yes I am," Grandpa replied.

"So you're their grandfather?" Draco asked again.

"Yes," Grandpa replied.

"Harry," Samantha said.

"Yes?" Harry questioned.

"Would you consider giving the Elder wand to grandpa instead of disposing of it?" Amelia asked.

"Alright then," Harry said handing Merlin the wand.

"Do not worry Harry Potter," Grandpa said. "I'll make sure this wand doesn't fall into the wrong hands."

"Wait Grandpa," Jimmy said fishing through his pockets. He pulled out the resurrection stone and handed it to his grandpa. "I don't think anybody here will need that anytime soon."

"Thank you Jimmy," Grandpa said.

"Well, now that that's done… I…gue...es…" Amelia said before she and the rest of the Elementals just fainted. Their familiars were right by their sides in a second.

"What happened to them?" Hermione asked in a panic.

"They used too much energy and power," Grandpa stated. "Don't worry they'll be ok."

"How long will they be out for?" Harry asked.

"A few hours," Grandpa said.

"Wait a minute," Draco said. "Samantha said she was exhausted before, and that she couldn't produce fire. Why didn't she faint?"

"Oh, she could use fire," Grandpa declared. "She just chose not to."

"Why would she do that?" Ron asked.

"Because, if she used any more fire power, there was a chance that she would have become power crazy and crossed some dangerous boundaries," Grandpa stated.

"Are they really going to be like this for a few hours?" Harry asked.

"No, I could just wake them up right now," Grandpa said. "In fact, I should probably do that."

Grandpa waved his hand toward Samantha and her eyes opened.

"What happened?" She asked.

"You fainted," Hermione stated.

"Oh man, I thought I was over that," Samantha said. "I haven't fainted in four years."

"Well, you should be glad I woke you up," Grandpa said.

"Why are the others still unconscious though?" Samantha questioned.

"Oh yes," Grandpa said. "I should awaken them too."

So Grandpa waved his hands in the others' direction, and they woke up too.

"Whoa, what happened?" Jimmy asked.

"You guys fainted," Ron said.

"Oh come on, I thought we were over that," Amelia stated.

"Yeah, the last time I fainted was two years ago," Chelsea confirmed.

"And then you were in the arms of your boyfriend," Bethany teased.

"Bethany, be quiet," Chelsea threatened.

"Now children," Grandpa said. "There is another reason why I am here right now."

The familiars, particularly Claw, caught on right away. He grabbed Samantha immediately

"I'm not letting you take her away from me," He stated.

"What is it?" Harry questioned.

"They have to go home now," Arrow stated sadly.

"And I don't want Samantha to leave!" Claw exclaimed.

"This love hurts," Samantha said.

"Claw, she doesn't belong here," Grandpa said. "None of them really do. You know that. Think about it, Samantha hasn't seen her family in a long time. Are you going to keep her away from that forever? You know she misses them."

Claw let Samantha back down.

"So we really have to go now; don't we?" Chelsea asked.

"Yes," Grandpa said. "I will give you time to say goodbye to everyone, but first I want to show you all something."

"What is it?" Jimmy asked.

"Do you all remember how you became the Elementals?" Grandpa asked.

"Too be honest, no," Bethany said.

"Well, I can show all of you right now," Grandpa said. "Through flashbacks, you all will see how you became the Elementals."

"What about them?" Samantha said gesturing towards the Trio and Draco.

"They can see too," Grandpa stated. "If you all are fine with that."

"I'm okay with it," Jimmy stated. "What about you girls?"

"I have no complaints," Amelia said.

"Me either," Chelsea replied.

"I'm okay with it," Bethany said.

"Whatever," Samantha said.

"Okay," Grandpa said waving the Elder wand and opening a portal. "Shall we?"

The Elementals all went in, followed by the Trio and Draco.

Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

When they stepped through the portal they were on a dock by a river. Then they noticed a little girl standing right outside by the dock. She had short brown hair, and big brown eyes; she was also wearing glasses. She looked around five years old.

"That's me," Amelia stated.

"That's right Amelia," Grandpa said.

The little girl looked like she was waiting for someone. Suddenly a voice came from behind her.

"Hello little girl," The voice said.

Five year old Amelia turned to see an elderly man with long white hair wearing a purple robe.

"Who are you?" Five year old Amelia asked.

"My name is Merlin, and I am a wizard," the old man said.

"A wizard," Amelia said in confusion.

"Yes, I do magic," He said. "Do you like magic?"

"Yes," Amelia replied with glee in her voice.

"Would you like to learn magic?" Merlin asked.

"How?" Little Amelia questioned.

"I can teach you how to control the wind with magic," Merlin stated.

"You can?" Amelia asked.

"Yes, you must think about this before you give me answer though," Merlin said. "They wind is not always slow and steady like the river."

"But the river is not like that all the time," Amelia said

Merlin looked at her before she started singing.

What I love most about rivers is:

You can't step in the same river twice

The water's always changing, always flowing

But people, I guess, can't live like that

We all must pay a price

To be safe, we lose our chance of ever knowing

What's around the riverbend

Waiting just around the riverbend

I look once more

Just around the riverbend

Beyond the shore

Where the gulls fly free

Don't know what for

What I dream the day might send

Just around the riverbend

For me

Coming for me

I feel it there beyond those trees

Or right behind these waterfalls

Can I ignore that sound of distant drumming

For a handsome sturdy husband

Who builds handsome sturdy walls

And never dreams that something might be coming?

Just around the riverbend

Just around the riverbend

I look once more

Just around the riverbend

Beyond the shore

Somewhere past the sea

Don't know what for...

Why do all my dreams extend

Just around the riverbend?

Just around the riverbend...

Should I choose the smoothest course

Steady as the beating drum?

Should I marry Kocoum?

Is all my dreaming at an end?

Or do you still wait for me, Dream Giver

Just around the riverbend?

"So what do you think child?" Merlin asked. "Do you want control the wind?"

"Yes," little Amelia said enthusiastically. "I'll do my best at it too."

"Very well then," Merlin said. "I must go now Amelia, but I will see you when you are older, goodbye." Then Merlin began to disappear.

"Goodbye," little Amelia said waving goodbye.

"Wow, did it really happen like that?" Amelia asked.

"Yes it did," Grandpa replied. "Now let us move on to Jimmy."

The scene changed to someone's backyard on a spring day. A little boy, around four years old, was shooting hoops in a little plastic basketball hoop. He had an olive-colored skin tone, light brown curly hair, and brown eyes. He threw his ball at the net trying to make a basket, but it missed and rolled the other way. He went to retrieve it when a glowing white light appeared in front of him. Soon the light transformed. Then there was an old man standing in front of young Jimmy. He had long white hair and was wearing purples robes.

"Hello Jimmy," he greeted.

"Who are you; and how do you know my name?" Little Jimmy asked.

"My name is Merlin, and I'm a wizard," the old man said.

"So you do magic?" Jimmy asked.

"That's right," Merlin replied.

"Prove it," little Jimmy said.

"Very well then," Merlin said.

He extended his hand out to the volleyball, but did not touch it. Soon the ball was floating in midair. Then it moved over Jimmy's head and swished through his little basketball net.

"Wow, that was cool," Jimmy stated.

"Yes it was," merlin replied. "Would you like to be able to do magic Jimmy?"

"Do magic; how though?" Little Jimmy asked.

"I can teach you magic Jimmy, and not just any ordinary magic; I can teach you how to control Earth," Merlin stated.

"Earth?" Jimmy questioned.

"Yes Jimmy, stones, trees, plants, grass, even metal, you can have the ability to control them all," Merlin declared. "You need to think about this carefully though. If you say yes you cannot change your mind. This kind of power needs to be used for good."

"Used for good?" Little Jimmy asked. "Like a hero; like Superman or Hercules?"

"Yes," Merlin replied.

Jimmy looked the other way and began to sing.

I have often dreamed of a far off place

Where a great warm welcome will be waiting for me

Where the crowds will cheer when they see my face

And a voice keeps saying this is where I'm meant to be

I will find my way, I can go the distance

I'll be there someday - If I can be strong

I know every mile will be worth my while

I would go most anywhere to feel like I belong

"Well Jimmy, what do you say?" Merlin asked.

"Ok, I'll do it," Little Jimmy said. "I want to do good for people, just like a hero."

"Very well," Merlin said. "When you are old enough you shall learn how to control Earth. For now I must go though. Goodbye Jimmy, we will meet again someday."

With that Merlin disappeared.

"Was I really that enthusiastic when I was four?" Jimmy questioned.

"I can't imagine you even being that enthusiastic now Jimmy, no offense," Harry said.

"None taken," Jimmy replied.

"Come along," Grandpa said. "Next we will look at Chelsea's past."

The scene changed to another backyard, only this time there was a lot of snow on the ground. A little girl, looking about five years old was throwing snow in the air and giggling. She had light brown hair with bangs, and blue eyes. Suddenly a bright light white came from the tree she was standing near. She watched curiously as the light turned into a person. Standing before her was an old man with long white hair and dressed in purple robes.

"Hello little girl," the old man greeted.

"Who are you?" Chelsea asked.

"My name is Merlin," the old man said introducing himself. "I am a wizard."

"What's a wizard?" Little Chelsea asked.

"Someone who can do magic, like a magician almost," Merlin explained.

"Real magic?" Chelsea asked.

"Yes," Merlin replied. "Would you like to learn how to do magic Chelsea?"

"What kind of magic?" Chelsea asked.

"Magic with water," Merlin said. "I can show you how to control water and all its forms; ice, snow, steam. You need to think about this before you give me an answer though child. Someday there will be great responsibility with this kind of power."

Chelsea turned and looked at the snow before her. She then started to sing.

The earth is cold, the fields are bare

The branches fold against the wind that's everywhere

The birds move on so they survive

When snow's so deep the bears all sleep to keep themselves alive

They do what they must for now and trust in their plan

If I trust in mine, somehow I might find who I am

But where do I go from here?

So many voices ringing in my ear

Which is the voice that I was meant to hear?

How will I know where do I go from here?

My world has changed, and so have I

I've learned to choose and even learned to say good-bye

The path ahead, so hard to see

It winds and bends, but where it ends depends on only me

In my heart I don't feel part of so much I've known

Now it seems it's time to start a new life on my own

But where do I go from here?

So many voices ringing in my ear

Which is the voice I was meant to hear?

How will I know, where do I go from here?

"Well, are you willing to learn this?" Merlin asked.

"Yes, I'll do it," Chelsea stated. "I want to learn how to control water."

"Very well," Merlin said. "Goodbye Chelsea, I'll be back when you're older to teach you this magic." Merlin began to disappear.

"Wait, when I'm older?" Chelsea asked.

Merlin had already disappeared though.

"I was a curious little kid," Chelsea stated.

"You never got an answer though," Ron said.

"Sure she did, six years ago," Jimmy said.

"Alright, let's move onto Bethany," Grandpa said.

The scene changed to a park this time. A little girl, about five years old, with short brown hair and brown eyes was running through the grass when a bright white light appeared before her. The light suddenly changed into an old man with long white hair wearing a long purple robe.

"Hello Bethany," the old man greeted.

"Who are you?" Little Bethany asked.

"My name is Merlin," the old man introduced himself. "I'm a wizard."

"What's a wizard?" Bethany asked.

"I can do magic," Merlin said. "Do you like magic Bethany?"

"Yes," Bethany replied.

"I can teach you magic," Merlin stated. "Would you like that Bethany?"

"Yes," little Bethany replied. "What kind of magic?"

"Do you know what lightning is?" Merlin asked.

"That thing that flashes in the sky when it rains?" Little Bethany asked.

"Yes," Merlin replied. "I can teach it to you so that you can use it when it's not raining though."

"It sounds kind of scary," Bethany said.

"Yes, there will be a long journey ahead of you," Merlin stated.

"Like an adventure?" Bethany asked.

"Do you like adventures little Bethany?" Merlin asked.

"Yes, just like a girl I saw in a movie," little Bethany stated. "A really bad man wanted to marry her, but she said no because she wanted more."

Bethany began to sing.

"Madame Gaston!"

Can't you just see it?

"Madame Gaston!"

His "little wife"

No sir! Not me!

I guarantee it

I want much more than this provincial life

I want adventure in the great wide somewhere

I want it more than I can tell

And for once it might be grand

To have someone understand

I want so much more than they've got planned

"So Bethany, does this mean you want to learn this magic?" Merlin asked.

"Yes, an adventure like this sounds like it will be a neat," Little Bethany stated.

"Ok then, I will return when you are older to teach you," Merlin said. "Until then, goodbye Bethany." Merlin said disappearing.

"Goodbye," Bethany waved.

"Wow, I sure was a funny child," Bethany stated.

"I keep forgetting you used to be a brunette," Hermione said.

"Really, it wasn't that long ago," Bethany stated.

"Alright everyone, finally we will see Samantha's past," Grandpa said.

The scene changed one final time. It was another backyard. A girl, about four years old, with long wavy brown hair and hazel eyes (AN: Samantha's eye color always changes, so I'm just picking one.) was playing with her dog. She went to retrieve the tennis ball that here dog dropped when she noticed a strange light appear. The light began to change. Soon an old man with long white hair dressed in purple robes was standing before her.

"Hello Samantha," the old man greeted.

"Who are you; and how do you know my name?" Little Samantha asked.

"My name is Merlin, and I'm a wizard," the old man said introducing himself.

"Like the ones in the stories?" Samantha questioned.

"Yes, I'm here to ask you something Samantha," Merlin stated.

"What is it?" Samantha asked.

"Would you like to learn magic?" Merlin asked.

"What kind of magic?" Samantha questioned.

"The power to control fire," Merlin stated.

"That sounds cool," Samantha said.

"Yes, but it requires a lot of energy, and hard work," Merlin declared. "If you practice hard enough then you could be just as good as controlling it as me."

Merlin began to sing.

Merlin: As you go through life you'll see

There is so much that we

Don't understand

And the only thing we know

Is things don't always go

The way we planned

But you'll see every day

That we'll never turn away

When it seems all your dreams come undone

We will stand by your side

Filled with hope and filled with pride

We are more than we are

We are one

Samantha: If there's so much I must be

Can I still just be me

The way I am?

Can I trust in my own heart

Or am I just one part

Of some big plan?

Merlin: Even those who are gone

Are with us as we go on

Your journey has only begun

Tears of pain

Tears of joy

One thing nothing can destroy

Is our pride, deep inside

We are one

We are one, you and I

We are like the earth and sky

One family under the sun

All the wisdom to lead

All the courage that you'll need

You will find when you see

We are one

"Wow," I was deep as a kid," Samantha deadpanned.

"Wow did little kids now all these songs?" Draco asked.

"Oh, they didn't really sing," Grandpa said. "I just added that in for effect."

"Well, that was the last one," Ron confirmed. "Can we go now?"

"Yes, the exit is that way," Merlin pointed to the portal to his left.

Everyone except Samantha left. She noticed something else in her flashback.

"I'm afraid, you have to learn how to do this Samantha," Merlin said.

"Why?" Samantha questioned.

"Nobody has the personality that matches fire like you," Merlin stated.

"So, I'm the only one who can use fire?" Little Samantha asked.

"I'm afraid so," Merlin said. "Goodbye Samantha, I will see you again when you're older."

Then Merlin disappeared, and the flashback did as well.

Samantha looked at her grandfather with anger.

"What the Hell?" She yelled.

"I'm sorry Samantha, I didn't want you to find out this way," Grandpa said.

"Find out this way, more like find out at all, how could you do this to me?" Samantha questioned.

"I didn't have a choice, you were fire's perfect match," Grandpa declared.

"You didn't have a choice?!" Samantha yelled. "You didn't give me a choice, but you had no problem giving the others a choice. Is this why you give me the most attention?"

"Yes, " Grandpa replied.

"How can you do this to me Grandpa?" Samantha yelled. "I thought I was fighting for all of this because I chose to, but now I find out I really didn't have a choice to begin with! I can't believe you lied to me."

Samantha ran away, tears were in her eyes.

"I'm sorry Samantha," Grandpa said sadly.

Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

The Elementals had spilt up to go find some of the others. They were still trying to grasp that they had to leave soon. They missed home yes, but this place held some good memories for them.

Chelsea was in the Great Hall, watching as all the survivors chatted happily with each other. It saddened her to think that soon she wouldn't see any of them again.

"There you are," A familiar voice startled her.

Chelsea turned around to see Neville standing behind her. He was still all bloody. Why was he still bloody?

"I've been looking for you," he said.

"Well, it looks like you finally found me," Chelsea replied. "Why are you still injured?"

"I didn't want Madam Pomfrey to waste a lot of time on me," Neville declared. "There are plenty of other injured people to heal."

"He's always so selfless," Chelsea thought.

"Well, will you let me heal you then?" She asked. "I can have all of those injuries gone in no time."

"Okay then," Neville said.

Chelsea had him sit down so she could get to work on him. She had all of his burns, cuts, and the gash on the side of his head gone in less than five minutes.

"There we go, all finished," Chelsea declared.

"Thank you," Neville said. "You're amazing; do you know that?"

"Thank you," Chelsea said looking away and blushing. "You know, we never finished our talk," she confirmed.

"Shall we finish it now then?" Neville asked.

"I think we should," Chelsea replied.

So they got up and walked out into the court yard. After a few minutes of very awkward silence Chelsea finally spoke first.

"Neville," She began "I know it's not really you thing, but…if you want to yell at me right now go ahead. I'm not going to stop you," Chelsea said turning her head the other way.

Neville just looked confused. Chelsea, what makes you think I want to yell at you?" He questioned.

"I thought you'd be mad at me for not telling you the complete truth about me," Chelsea said sadly.

Neville pulled her into a hug.

"Chelsea, listen to me," he said. "You told me two things that weren't true about you, yes, but you had a good reason. You were only doing it to protect all of us. That doesn't change how I feel about you at all."

"It doesn't?" Chelsea asked.

"Of course not," Neville replied. "You said it yourself earlier, just because you told me two false facts about yourself doesn't mean you're the same person you've always been. I still see the same girl I fell for a year ago, and the person I've thought about the most every day."

"Neville…" Chelsea said hugging her boyfriend tightly.

They pulled apart a little, only to have lean in closer to each other and have their lips meet in a kiss. They pulled away when air became a necessity and just looked at each other with smiles on their faces.

Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Bethany went into the Great Hall to look for Seamus. She had remembered that he said that he wanted to talk to her after the battle. She found him talking to Dean and Aberforth and approached them.

"Hey Seamus," She greeted.

"Oh, hi Bethany." Seamus greeted back.

"You said you wanted to talk to me after the battle?" Bethany questioned.

"Yes," Seamus confirmed. "Would you like to go for a walk?"

"Sure," Bethany replied.

So Seamus got up and they walked toward the staircases and began ascending them.

"So," Seamus began. "What are you all going to do now that Voldemort is dead?"

"Well, our mission is complete," Bethany confirmed. "So Grandpa said we need to go home now."

"That must be nice to know," Seamus said.

"Yeah, I miss home," Bethany said. "It will be sad to leave here though. I'll miss all of you."

"Well, it won't be the same having all of you around," Seamus stated sadly and stopping in his tracks.

Bethany noticed this and stopped as well.

"What's wrong Seamus?" she asked.

"Bethany," Seamus began. "We've been classmates and friends for a while now; and over the years I really got to know what you're like. You're really an amazing girl; and I really, really like you. In fact…I think I might even be in love with you."

Bethany was silent for a few seconds. She never saw this coming.

"Seamus," She began. "I really, really like you too, but I don't know if I'm in love with you. I'm sorry, this would be so much easier if I wasn't leaving soon."

"I understand," Seamus said. "I just wanted you to know that before you left."

More silence.

"Bethany?" Seamus asked.

"Yes?" Bethany questioned.

"Can I at least, give you a kiss?" Seamus asked.

Kiss, should she let him? I mean he did ask. Would it hurt either of them if he kissed her though. No, it's just a small kiss right?

"Sure," Bethany finally replied.

So Seamus stepped a little closer to her and slowly inched his face closer to hers until his lips were pressed against hers. It only lasted a few seconds, but Bethany did close her eyes.

Once he pulled away Bethany opened her eyes and saw Seamus smiling at her.

"Thank you," he said.

"You're welcome," Bethany replied with a smile.

Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Jimmy was looking for Katie. He did owe her an explanation after all. He finally found her in the Great Hall talking to Leanne and Cho. He didn't even have to say anything to her though. She just looked at him, told the girls she'd be back and they walked off into one of the corridors by the courtyard.

"Ok, Jimmy, start explaining please," Katie demanded.

Jimmy sighed before he started telling Katie the truth. "Okay, yes, I'm a descendant of Merlin," Jimmy confirmed. I found out six years ago and was told by Grandpa to keep it a secret so the word wouldn't be spread and people were but in danger. Last year when he started becoming closer I wanted to tell you the truth, but I knew it was too risky; and I was afraid you'd think I'm crazy or something. I didn't want to lie to you Katie, but I really couldn't risk it. I didn't want your life to be put in danger again."

"So, you lied about your true identity to protect me?" Katie questioned.

"Yeah, that's pretty much why," Jimmy declared.

"Well, I guess that's a fair enough reason," Katie said. "And it's really sweet to know that you wanted to protect me." She pulled Jimmy into a hug and Jimmy hugged her back. (AN: Whether or not they kissed is up to your imagination)

Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Amelia was standing on the bridge looking up at the sky. It was the last time she'd see the sky here, and all the wonderful people she met.

"Amelia?" A familiar voiced called.

Amelia turned to see Percy standing before her.

"I see you're alright," she said looking back at the sky.

"Yes, and you're okay too," Percy confirmed. "You really had me worried when I saw those Death Eaters holding you back.

"Did I?" Amelia said still not looking at her ex.

"Yes," Percy replied. "Amelia," Percy said walking over to her and grabbing her hand, finally causing her to look at him. "I'm so sorry, truly I am. I did a really awful thing to you; it's not right for a boyfriend to accuse his girlfriend of lying when he doesn't know the complete truth himself. I was a fool, a ministry-loving, family-disowning, workaholic fool! I never wanted to hurt you. I should have believed you. I'm really sorry. I've really missed you, and wish we had time to pick up where we left off."

"Well, it took you long enough," Amelia said with a smile. "I forgive you Percy, and I've missed you too."

Percy pulled her into a tight hug.

Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Samantha was sitting in one of the corridors by the courtyard. She was still crying. Just how could Grandpa do that to her?

"Samantha?" A familiar voice questioned.

Samantha turned to see Fred looking at her, concern present in his face. "Are you okay?" He asked.

"Yeah," Samantha said wiping away her tears. "Why is it you always find me when I'm crying?" She joked.

Fred just shrugged his shoulders.

"So what's up?" Samantha asked.

"I tried to tell you something before, but you said to save it after the battle," Fred confirmed. "And now the battle's over."

"Yeah," Samantha agreed. "So what do you want to tell me?"

"I…Samantha…I," Fred stuttered.

Fred just couldn't get the words out so he grabbed Samantha's arm, pulled her toward him and just kissed her. He pulled away after a few seconds and looked to see her reaction. Samantha looked like she had no idea what just happened. Then she came to.

"That was my first kiss you just stole," She declared.

Fred closed his eyes, waiting for pain to come.

"Normally, I'd kill someone for that, but since I'm leaving soon, I'll cut you some slack," Samantha said.

"You're not going to kill me?" Fred questioned.

"Would you prefer that I did?" Samantha asked.

"No," Fred quickly replied.

"Good, well I better head back," Samantha stated. "I suspect Grandpa is going to send us home any minute now. You want to come and see us off?"

"Yeah," Fred said following her to the courtyard.

Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

The Elementals stood in the courtyard with the Trio, the Malfoys, the familiars, McGonagall, a now conscious Snape, the Weasleys, and some of the DA.

Samantha was currently being crushed in a hug by Claw; Chelsea was standing next to Arrow, and hugging Neville tightly; Amelia had Skye on her shoulder and has hugging Percy tightly; Bethany was standing next to Seamus and hugging Abhay; and Jimmy had Gollum on his shoulder and was holding Katie's hand.

"I'm gonna miss you so much Samantha," Claw cried still hugging her.

"I'm going to miss you too Claw, but can you let me go?" She asked. "Your love really hurts right now."

"Never," Claw said.

"A little help here, somebody," Samantha said.

Jimmy walked over to Claw and released Samantha from his grasp with no problem.

Then Grandpa appeared.

"Are you all ready to go?" He asked.

"Yes Grandpa," The Elementals replied in unison.

Jimmy was the first one to step forward, first he turned to Katie and kissed her forehead and then he looked at Gollum.

"Don't annoy too many people," Jimmy joked.

"Yeah, I'll miss you too," Gollum said.

Jimmy looked at everyone else. "Goodbye everyone, I'll never forget you."

With that said Jimmy jumped through the portal.

"All right, it's our turn girls," Samantha said. She turned to give Claw a very quick hug before stepping toward the portal.

Bethany did the same with Abhay and Seamus and stepped toward the portal.

"This isn't fair," Chelsea suddenly said.

"I know," Amelia said. "Percy, I just got you back," she said hugging him a bit tighter.

Samantha and Bethany rolled their eyes.

"You get Chelsea," Samantha said. "I'll get Amelia."

Bethany nodded before walking over to Chelsea who was still hugging her boyfriend.

"Come one Chels," Bethany said grabbing her and trying to yank her off of Neville.

"But I'll miss this world," Chelsea complained.

"I know Chelsea," Bethany said. "But we have families waiting for us at home remember?"

Bethany was right after all.

"Can I just say goodbye one last time?" Chelsea asked.

"Yes, but hurry up," Bethany stated.

Chelsea went over to Arrow. Her kelpie gave her an affectionate nuzzle with her snout. Chelsea smiled at her and gave her on last hug. Then she went back to Neville and gave him another hug.

"I'll miss you Neville," she confirmed.

"I'll never forget you Chelsea," Neville told her.

Chelsea smiled at him sadly and gave him on last quick kiss.

She stepped toward the portal but looked at everyone one last time first.

"Goodbye everyone, I'll miss all of you," Chelsea declared. Then Bethany pushed her through the portal.

Meanwhile Samantha was still trying to get Amelia off of Percy.

"Come on Amelia," Samantha said. "It's time to leave."

"I just got him back though," Amelia complained. "It's not fair."

"I know, but neither was being away from home for so long," Samantha confirmed.

Amelia knew Samantha was right. She looked at Percy and smiled at him.

"I'll never forget you Percy," she said.

"I'll miss you Amelia," Percy said.

Amelia gave him a smile and a quick kiss on the cheek. Then she looked at Skye and gave her one final hug. She stepped toward the portal, but looked back at everyone first.

"Goodbye everyone, I'll miss all of you." With that said Samantha pushed her through the portal.

Then Samantha and Bethany looked at each other and nodded before looking at everyone.

"Goodbye guys, it's been quite the experience," Samantha declared.

"We'll always remember all of you," Bethany declared.

They both stepped through the portal and it closed.

Everyone turned to leave.

"Wait," Grandpa said stopping them. "Do you all not wish to see that they all made it back safely?"

"We can see that?" Harry asked.

"Yes, you can see, you won't be able to hear what they're saying though."

Grandpa opened another portal and everyone saw the Elementals.

Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

Chelsea opened her eyes and sat up, a little to quickie actually. She felt a little dizzy, so she clutched the bookshelf next to her. Wait, a bookshelf. She looked around to see she was standing in the bookshelf that she and Amelia entered on that day. She then looked at her clothes; she wasn't in her battle outfit. She was wearing her dark blue t-shirt, blue denim shorts, and black converses. She then heard a noise and looked next to her to see Amelia. She was wearing her gray t-shirt, white shorts, and pink sneakers, and she looked 15 again. Amelia looked at her and the two hugged each other tightly. Suddenly they heard the door open they looked to see Samantha and Jimmy; both of them looked 16 again! Samantha was wearing her red tank top, blue denim shorts, black sneakers, and a green camouflage hat backwards. Jimmy was wearing a green t-shirt, blue knee shorts, and black sneakers; his diamond stud earring was also back in his left ear. Chelsea and Amelia went over to the two of them and hugged them until they were pushed off. All four of them smiled at each other and smiled. Suddenly expressions of shock were on their face. Chelsea mouthed something and Samantha pulled out her cellphone. Another portal opened on the other side to show Bethany. She was laying on her bed in her pink and purple t-shirt and black denim shorts; she looked 15 again too. She sat up on her bed picked up her phone and talked to Samantha. She just looked so happy to see her own bedroom again and be back in her own house. After a few minutes she hung up with Samantha and ran downstairs, supposedly to see her parents. The rest of the group decided to by the Harry Potter books. Jimmy bought the Sorcerer's Stone; Chelsea bought the Chamber of Secrets for Bethany and Prisoner of Azkaban for herself; Samantha bought Order of the Phoenix and Deathly Hallows; and Amelia bought Goblet of Fire and Half Blood Prince.

As the four of them made their way back to the hostel they took out their phones and called their parents, tearing up the whole time they were talking to them. Once they got back to the hostel they entered the gym where the rest of their classmates were. Samantha looked at the others and walked off toward a group of girls sitting on one of the many sets of bleachers. She jumped on the bleachers, scaring all her friends that were sitting there. Then she proceeded to give another girl a nookie. Chelsea went over to her friends and immediately gave one of them a hug. Then she started talking to the group of girls. Amelia went over to her friends and just started up a conversation. Jimmy went over to a group of boys and started talking to them.

After about ten minutes of chit-chat the teachers silenced all the students, and informed them where they would be going today.
