I can't forget last night I saw you in the corner wrapped up tight

You were warm

Slow dancing on the floor while I was watching from the door so hurt

There you were

You gave me reasons to believe that we were always meant to be

But now I see

You were wrong

You can't keep running back to me with all those baby baby pleases

No more

No more

Chapter 21: New Year's

New Years Eve had came. Fred And George had sent off letters to Ron, Harry, Hermione, and Ginny about them throwing a huge New Years party in their flat above their store. Ron and Hermione had written Ginny immediately, telling her not to let Harry know that she was coming. They told her that Harry would love the surprise.

Draco however, knew exactly what was going on. He had gotten a letter from the pair a few days prior telling him of their suspicions and how they wanted Ginny to catch him in the act of doing something wrong. They knew something had happened because Sirius had wrote to them saying that Harry had made it to his home, but he had only stayed a few days and within those days, a girl stayed with him.

Ginny decided to invite Draco, Blaise, and Luna along. She thought they would have fun.

"You know what would be wicked?" said Draco looking through his wardrobe trying to find something to wear.

"Besides me, what?" joked Ginny.

"Let's change the color of our hair. Just for fun. Let's both have black hair tonight."

"Change our hair to black? Why?" asked Ginny, suspiciously.

"Just to spice things up. Have some fun. We should see if we can convince Blaise and Luna to change their hair to blue or something." said Draco trying to throw off suspicion that he was trying to disguise Ginny a little.

"I don't know..."said Ginny, who was very sensitive about her hair.

"Come on Gin it'll be fun. If I'm willing to turn my gorgeous modelesque hair black then you can do it too."

Ginny smiled. "Okay fine. I'll do it just for this party."

Draco smiled as he tapped his wand on Ginny's head and watched as her hair, eyebrows, and lashes changed to a black that was darker than Harry's. Even though he knew it was Ginny, he almost couldn't tell.

"Damn you look different. I mean I like it, but it's still different." said Draco doing the same thing to himself.

Ginny laughed as she watched Draco's pale skin pop out even more with his black hair. "I should say the same thing about you. I like it. I like mine better though." she said looking in Draco's mirror at her obsidian locks.

They waited on Blaise and Luna to join them. When the two arrived they hardly recognized Draco and Ginny.

"You two look like twins" said Blaise as he changed his hair to the platinum blonde that Draco normally had. Luna had changed hers to a beautiful blue that matched her eyes.

The four walked down to the Hogsmeade apparition point where they did side along apparition with Draco and Blaise (they both had their licenses) and landed in front of Weasley's Wizard Wheezes.

They walked to the flat door where they said the password given to them (double the trouble) and they entered Fred and George Weasley's flat.

The music was loud and fun, and the room was decorated in gold and silver decorations that sparkled. There were a lot of the twins friends (Angelina Johnson, Lee Jordan, Alicia Spinnet, Cho Chang 'this bitch' thought Ginny)from their year and a few from Draco's year, and the rest Ginny couldn't identify.

"And who is this raven haired beauty that walked into my home? Don't think I've ever seen you before, love" said George approaching Ginny, not knowing who she was.

Ginny laughed. "Oh I believe you've seen me every day of my life."

"OH SHIT! Ginny? Sister I barely recognized you! Black suits you." said George, pulling his sister in for a hug. "Is there a reason for the incognito?"

"Nope, just having fun with this. All of us are" said Ginny as she pointed out Draco, Luna, and Blaise.

George and Ginny shared some laughs and then George left her to tend to the other guests. The four then found Hermione giggling in a corner with Ron.

"There are rooms for that, you know." said Ginny to her brother.

"Holy shit Gin! I didn't know that was you." said a shocked Ron. Hermione hugged Ginny and Luna, admiring their hair.

Blaise and Luna then excused themselves, claiming to go talk to some of Luna's old Ravenclaw friends. "Probably sneaking off to snog" laughed Ginny.

Hermione, feeling adventurous after seeing Luna's hair, asked Draco to turn hers did her one better, and when he was done with her, her hair was straight and flowy and a deep fire red. Ron looked deeply turned on.

"You should keep your hair like that for a while. It looks really good." he whispered in her ear trying to keep his hands off of her.

Hermione smiled and nodded. And then her smile disappeared. "Uhhh Ginny? Why don't we go get a butterbeer or something?" she said grabbing Ginny's hand.

Ginny could sense something was wrong. She looked in the direction that Hermione was staring in. What she saw almost made her heart stop.

Harry had made an appearance to the party with Pansy Parkinson on one arm, and Daphne Greengrass on the other. They were laughing and talking, and from the way the girls were dancing on him, it looked as if he were in a muggle strip club.

Draco immediately put a hand over Ginny's mouth, his other arm went around her waist. "Don't say or do anything right now, Gin." he whispered in her ear. "Don't make a reaction at all. This way you can see if his intentions are true or not. He doesn't know you're here. From the looks of things, he doesn't know his best friends are here either."

Ginny turned to Draco and moved his hand from her mouth. She tried to calm herself down so she could rationally think. "Is there a way that you can make me look different so he won't notice that it's me at all?"

Draco swished his wand and then pointed it to her face. "He won't recognize you at all. The only ones that know it's you are amongst this group. "

Ginny nodded. Hermione occupied her time trying to calm Ron down, preventing him from going over to Harry and seriously hurting him. Draco held Ginny close to him, her back against his chest as she watched Harry switch from Pansy to Daphne, and then stick with Daphne as Pansy went off with someone else. Hermione had to drag Ron out of the flat completely.

As Ginny stood there leaning back on Draco watching her boyfriend seduce Daphne on the dance floor she could help but think about the hurt that was building up inside with every attentive touch that Harry was giving the gorgeous Slytherin. Harry never touched her like that. He never danced with her in that way. This was not the Harry Potter she had fallen for. This person was a liar. A cheater. A heartbreaker. With not a care of her in the world, he acted as if Daphne was his girlfriend on the dancefloor.

Draco was getting madder by the second but he kept his composure for the sake of Ginny. He watched as Harry made a complete male slag of himself in front of everybody, and what was more shocking, he was doing this at a Weasley party in front of a lot of people that knew Ginny. Bloody family members included.

"I have an idea" whispered Draco in Ginny's ear. "Dance with me"

Ginny felt a tear rolling down her cheek. "Draco, I-"

"Fuck him Ginny. Dance with me. He is here clearly not giving a fuck about you. Don't give a fuck about him. Have fun. Dance with me." said Draco putting his hands on Ginny's waist moving her hips.

Ginny felt her rage starting to fade with each seductive way Draco would whisper in her ear "Dance with me.". She kept her eyes on the promiscuous pair on the other side of the room, but they started to fade from her eyesight once she gave in and started winding her hips herself against Draco.

She closed her eyes and let her mind drift back to the Mirror of Erised and the dreams she would have in secret of her and Draco molding their bodies into each other. She put Harry far out of her mind as she allowed Draco's hands to explore her sides and neck, blocking every thought of what was happening with her own horrid ass boyfriend across the room, focusing on the fact that Draco was whispering sweet things about her in her ear, his expensive cologne was intoxicating and making her wish that she didn't even have Harry to worry about.

"He's spotted me Ginny." whispered Draco aware that Ginny's eyes were closed. "Let me talk. Don't say anything, no matter what foul thing comes from his mouth. It doesn't matter. You're better than him, and certainly better than her. Do you understand?"

Ginny nodded. She breathed in and instead of smelling all of Draco, a bit of what she knew Harry smelled like mixed in triggering her to want to hit him. Instead, she opened her eyes and clutched Draco's hand that was on her waist.

"Malfoy." spat Harry.

"Potter." spat Draco right back.

"I would have never imagined you would be here. What the fuck are you here for anyways?" asked Harry. His eyes had fell on Ginny and he gave her a grin. Ginny glared.

"I was invited of course. However, had I known they would invite your filthy ass here too, I would have reconsidered. I could have sworn the twins rolled in better circles." sneered Draco.

"Where is Ginny?" asked Harry eyes still on the dark haired girl standing in front of Draco.

'Good, the charm is working' thought Ginny.

"Obviously she isn't here. You should keep better tabs on someone you consider your girlfriend. A better man may swoop in and save her." said Draco with a smirk.

"Ginny knows what she has." said Harry with a sneer, taking his eyes off Ginny and glaring at Draco.

"Indeed. Looks like Pansy and Daphne knows too don't they?" said Draco, nodding in their direction.

Harry reached out to grab Draco but Ginny smacked his hand away. "Not here" she said.

Harry turned his attention back on the gorgeous raven haired girl leaning against Malfoy. He had never seen her before, yet she seemed familiar. Nevertheless, she was hot as hell and he needed to know her name, and possibly get her away from Malfoy, the wanker.

"I'm sorry I didn't catch your name, love." he said to her.

"That's because I didn't throw it." said the girl.

'Feisty. This should be fun' said Harry to himself.

"Do you go to Hogwarts?" he asked.

"I sure do." said the girl. Harry noticed that Draco pulled her closer to him and chuckled.

"What house are you in?"

"Gryffindor" said the girl.

"Really? I would remember someone as gorgeous as you seeing as you are in the same house as I am." said Harry, shamelessly flirting.

"You would think that you would remember me. Perhaps if you think about it you will. Come Draco. I need to get away from here." she said pulling Draco by the hand. Draco smiled at him as they walked away, leaving Harry momentarily confused but unfazed as he shrugged his shoulders and went to find Daphne.

Ginny dragged Draco towards the kitchen where there were snacks and drinks. She finally found her breath.

"What the hell were you thinking Gin? You almost gave yourself away." laughed Draco.

"It doesn't matter anymore. When he comes back to school it's over anyways."

"Why not end it now?"

"And let him not believe he got away with it?" said Ginny as they walked to another part of the living room with their butterbeers. "No. Let him have his fun. After all, I'm having mine too." she said smiling at Draco.

Hermione had been sitting out in the cold for over an hour watching Ron pace back and forth in front of her, cursing about their best friend. She was starting to grow tired of it. Sure she was just as pissed off just as much as he was at Harry, but she came to have fun with her boyfriend, and this wasn't fun.

"Are you done acting like a two year old Ronald?" she asked.

Ron stopped in front of her and dropped his jaw. "Oh I'm the one acting like a motherfucking 2 year old?! That asshole is in there almost fucking these Slytherins slags in my brothers home, in front of everybody, including his bloody girlfriend, who is my bloody sister! How the fuck else am I supposed to act Hermione?!"

"I get that Ron, you know I do. But tonight is not the night to fight. Nothing has happened which leads me to believe that Ginny has the situation handled the way she wants it to be. I just want to enjoy my boyfriend. We came here to celebrate the new year and us remember?" said Hermione wrapping her arms around Ron.

Ron tried his best to remain angry, but he loved the fact that Hermione just wanted to spend time with him. His anger melted away and was replaced with deep appreciation for the woman that put up with his temper and yet still wanted to be around him.

"I'm really sorry. It just pisses me off you know? I could never in my life do that to you, and to see it being done to my sister? Especially by my best mate? It's like that night Malfoy and Gin caught him and Bones all over again." he said kissing Hermione's forehead.

"Can we go back in, talk to Ginny, and then focus on me and you for the rest of the night?" asked Hermione looking up at her handsome headache.

Ron smiled and nodded and they walked back into the flat. They looked around and spotted Ginny and Draco against the wall dancing ("Ronald Weasley don't you even think about bothering them!" snapped Hermione) happily with each other, so they went to the middle of the floor and danced themselves. When they finished counting down the new year, they brought it in with a passionate kiss, not even noticing that Ginny and Draco had done the same thing.
