*Saturday, Austin's Birthday*

I feel my senses coming back to life as I open my eyes. It was ten o'clock and I was still tired. I'm not usually one to sleep in this late but I needed a little extra sleep for today. Plus I went to bed late last night. Now that I'm awake it's time to start getting ready. The first thing I do is remake my slept in bed. I straighten the blankets and fluff the pillows back into their original places. After that I hung any articles of clothing around my room that was forgotten when finding outfits for the past days. I took all my dirty ones to the laundry room and then headed upstairs.

I trudge my way to the kitchen still a little tired and make myself a bowl of cereal. I took my time, seeing no point in rushing eating, or maybe I was slow because my brain wasn't ready to function. After eating I check the clock to see its now 11. I start to collect everything that is going to be needed for today like the big blankets for outside and all the decorations I need to set up. Once I get everything in order I head back down to my room to get ready. Pj shorts and a ponytail weren't going to cut it for tonight.

I start off by styling my hair into loose curls. After that I move on to my makeup. Today I was going to wear a little more than just mascara. The first thing I did was use just a tad of foundation to cover any blemished spots. Next I applied a nude brown eye shadow to my lid and a white one above to highlight. Once it was blended to perfection I proceeded on to a thin line of black eyeliner on my upper lids. After that I glued my false lashes on and did my usual coat of mascara to make it look more natural. After I put a little bit of cheek highlighter and blush on to define my face. Last but not least I used a coral pink tinted lip balm on my lips. I took one last look in the mirror to admire my work. Putting on makeup is an art. Your face is the canvas and the cosmetics are how you create your picture. I don't wear all this often but it's nice when I do.

Next I headed to my closet. Luckily I already had an outfit picked for today so I wouldn't need to spend an hour choosing one. I grab my newest dress off the hanger and slip it on easily. It was a white lace dress with tee shirt like sleeves instead of the usual tank top straps and flared out at the waist. It was like this dress was made for me because it fit me so well. I twirled in front of the mirror a few times before pairing it with my classic black converse. The shoes were my favorite part because it really completes the look. Now that I was completely ready I headed back to the kitchen to start making lunch.

Austin always says that dessert first is a rule to live by so in spirit of his birthday I'm making birthday cupcakes to start our lunch off. Also on the menu is heart shaped grilled cheeses. They're both mine and Austin's favorite sandwiches, and there are many memories behind it. Once all the food was cooked I iced one in blue icing for him and pink for me. Austin would be here in five more minutes so I quickly set our food out on the now decorated patio. Just as I finished setting up the last of things the doorbell rang. Suddenly I felt a storm of butterflies in my stomach. I headed for the door and fixed anything out of place on my appearance before I opened it.

"Hi." I greet him with a smile.

"Hey." He greets back as he enters and kisses my cheek.

Austin was wearing pre ripped light blue jeans, a solid white tee and a navy cardigan with his same matching black converse as me. I have to say he does know how to dress himself really well. His blond hair was perfect as usual. All he had to do was run his hand through it and it flopped just right. His smile was the best thing he could have been wearing though. It melts my heart every time his lips curve up into his cute little grin. When he smiled his dimples went on full display for the world to admire. Luckily he and his dimples are all mine.

"You look really handsome." I comment.

"Thanks. And you look beautiful as always." He compliments back.

"So birthday boy, follow me." I insisted.

I grab his hand and pull him through the corridors as fast as I can. I open the patio door to reveal our lunch date area. I had balloons and anything that could be used as a light set up on the patio and in the tree right beside it. I had big fluffy blankets laid down and like ten pillows on the grass under the tree for afterwards. I look up to watch his reaction when I pull him outside.

"Wow Ally, this is amazing!" he says in awe.

"Only the best for you." I stated.

"C'mon let's eat." I say.

"Good because I'm hungry." He agrees.

So, I was thinking," I start, leaving him curious as to what I had to say.

"that it wouldn't be a meal without dessert first, right?" I continue.

He laughs, catching on to what I was trying to tell him.

"So I made you a birthday cupcake." I finish as I light the candle in it.

"Make a wish!" I exclaim.

I watch as he brings the cupcake close to his face. The flame gives a slight spotlight on his face, illuminating his chocolate eyes. He sucks in a deep breath before closing his eyes and releasing it on the flame, extinguishing the light.

"What'd you wish for?" I ask.

"For this." He answers by leaning in and kissing me on the lips.

At first I was stunned. I didn't have enough to understand what he meant before he pressed his lips on mine. But it easily washed away as I happily kissed him back. It was slow and sensual and absolutely perfect. His touch was making my heart beat a million times faster than before. Every time we kiss it always feels like the first; exciting and scary and beyond wonderful. He slowly pulls away but surprises me again when he meets with my lips one last time.

"You realize you have to wait another three hundred and sixty five days because you wasted a wish on me." I point out.

I shake my head in disappointment.

"Hey, it was not a waste. Your lips are a really good present." He argues.

He takes the first bite into his cupcake before I speak.

"Why didn't you just ask for a kiss?" I question him.

"What's the fun it that?" he responds.

"Just shut up and eat your cupcake birthday boy." I tease.

He shakes his head and smirks at me before he manages to fit half the cupcake into his mouth in one bite. Goodness that boy has a big mouth. He is so lucky it's his birthday.

We take our time eating my well thought out lunch and enjoy the summer afternoon together. My backyard was no beach or fancy restaurant but when we were together none of that stuff mattered.

"What's next on the agenda Miss Dawson?" he jokes.

"Well follow me Mr. Moon and you will see." I joke back.

I take ahold of his hand and guide him down the patio and to the mess of blankets and pillows strewn across the grass shaded by the tower like tree.

"We're going to do this thing called relax. You wouldn't know what that is because you're so busy all the time." I inform him.

"I do so know how to relax." He defends.

"Prove it." I challenge.

Suddenly he tackles me down to the mess of blankets and pillows. He didn't hurt me and they cushioned our fall. I gasp in shock as we tumbled down. I landed on top of him and was giggling like crazy. Once I started he did too.

"I love your laugh." I smiled softly.

Without hesitation he rolled us over so he was now above me. My heart skipped more than just a beat as he did so.

"Not as much as I love yours." He declared in a low, hushed voice.

I bit my lip as I admired how beautifully formed his face was. His chin and jaw line were just the beginning. Our noses were total opposites, it was big like most guys and mine is practically the size of a button. His eyes are so dreamy and enchanting. Every time I looked into them I got lost. And don't get me started on his lips. They're big and soft and always taste sweet. I would kiss his lips all day if I could.

We were so close that our chests were pressed together, and heaved up and down in synch as our breathing pattern became one. I felt a rush of courage go through me. It was enough to close the gap between our mouths and plant an innocent kiss on his lips. I felt his smile form against my mouth but there was no loss of contact. After a minute he pulled away and rolled over so his body was beside and not atop of me.

"So what do we do now?" he asks curiously.

"Nothing. For as long as you want." I say happily.

I snuggle closer into his side and he wraps his arm around my shoulder. We lay there for a while. We talk and we also say nothing, just enjoying each other.

"Thanks." He says.

"For what?" I asked confused.

He looks over into my eyes and tucks a few strands of hair behind my ear.

"For everything. Not just this, although this is really perfect too. I mean for you being with me. There's nothing better than knowing I'm the only guy who gets to hold you and kiss you and talk to you about anything with. I don't know why the entire Miami population of guys isn't begging to be with you, but I'm not complaining. I'm so lucky to be with the most amazing, sweet, adorable, beautiful and sexiest girl ever. You mean the world to me Ally. Thank you for being with me and as long as we're together I will make sure you're always happy because if you're happy I'm happy too." He admits.

I look in his eyes as I comprehend what he just said.

"Austin," I start, unsure of where to begin with all my thoughts.

"You don't have to say anything. Just believe it because I really mean it." He cuts in.

"Ok." I say defeated.

I bring my hand behind his head and tangle my fingers in his hair. I pull his face close to mine again, our noses touching. I connect my lips to his and give him a very passionate kiss. If I wasn't able to say anything then this was as close as I could get to telling him how I feel too.

When I pull away a smile instantly forms on his face.

"So are we going to lie here all day or what?" he asks.

I can't help but giggle at him.

"Well I think it's time to get in the car." I suggest.

"Where are we going?" he asks.

"I wanted to do something really fun but all the ideas were too messy for what's planned later. But where we are going is perfect." I tell him as we get into my car.

"Alright." He agrees.

We make our way to the secret place I was taking before it was time to go to the surprise party. It takes about 15 minutes but it's well worth the drive. When we get there I turn to look and see his expression.

"Ally why are we at the beach?" he asks puzzled.

"This isn't just any beach. This is where we went on our first date together." I explain to him as we get out of the car.

He smiles to himself as he starts to remember what I was talking about.

"This is really sweet. Thank you." He says sincerely.

"Race you to the water?" I challenge, for old time's sake.

"Oh you are so on." He agrees.

I instantly bolt down to the water as Austin follows behind. He and I both knew it was pointless because I stood no chance. It was cute how he gave me a head start though.

Within like ten seconds of running he had already passed me. When we got to the water he took me by surprise and picked me up by the waist and brought me into a tight hug.

"Austin," I laugh.

"Put me down." I demanded.

"Fine." He agrees and lowers me back down to the ground.

My arms we still around his neck and his hands were still on my waist.

"Walk on the beach with me?" he asks.

"Anything for the birthday boy." I say.

He takes ahold of my hand in his as we start to walk heading in no specific direction. Every so often the water would rush around our feet when the tide came in. We walked for a while, drew in the sand, sat down on the rocks and maybe kissed once or twice.

"You know I was a totally different girl on our first date here compared to now." I state.

"What do you mean?" he asks.

"Trust me you will understand tonight." I say.

"Ok?" he agrees unsure.

"We should probably head back now. It's almost time for our next event!" I exclaim.

We make our way back down the beach. We stop to buy ice cream, mostly because Austin begged me to. That boy sure loved food.

We got back and to the car just in time. I texted my mom saying we'd be there in 20 minutes.

"So where to next?" he asks as we get in the car.

"Sorry but it's super top secret. You'll know in a few more minutes." I tell him.

"Alllllyyyyy!" he whines.

"Sorry." I giggle.

"Trust me, you're going to love it." I say.
