I'm sorry that it takes me forever to get a new chapter on here. Thank you for the continuing reviews. They mean a lot. Without them, I probably wouldn't keep posting chapters. Every time I get an email with a review its a reminder that I'm not just writing for myself. Thank you guys! Hope you enjoy this chapter.
Max POV
Fang is laying in my bed next to me when my mom gets home. He is fast asleep but I am wide awake watching him. Mom peeks in my room and narrows her eyes. I reach up and give her a "shhh" finger to my lips.
"I'll explain later," I whisper.
She nods and blows me a kiss.
I watch Fang as his chest rises with ever breath he takes. I love him. It is the oddest feeling. I feel as if my life would be pointless if he wasn't by my side. Which is completely stupid because we haven't even known each other very long.
I scoot down so I am laying down as opposed to siting up. I prop my head up on my hand and look at his perfect face. I reach up and touch his jet black hair. It's so soft and shiny.
A sudden pain explodes under my rib cage and I gasp. I lay down in my back trying to calm my spamming stomach muscles. I grit my teeth, wanting to keep quiet. I barely notice Fang looming over me asking if I'm okay.
I give into the pain and let out a groan. I place my hands on my upper abdomen and attempt to hold it together as it feels like it will fall apart. The pain was much worse than any of the other cramps I have had. "Fang, get my mom." I grit out. Trying hard to relax my muscles. Not sure if I could even control what was happening.
Mom runs in with Fang trailing behind her. The pain has started to subside.
"It hurts here. Bad." I say, pointing.
She nods, "there's nothig w can do but wait for the pain to stop. The doctor said for you to move slowly so it doesn't start hurting."
I nod. "I think it's okay now." I glance at the clock, it is 11pm. "Fang its late," I look at him hoping he would say it's okay.
"Okay I will stay until your pain is gone." He started at me and then glances at my mom, "if that is okay with you."
She nods, "just call my name if you need me honey, I'm getting in bed."
Fang stays for about 10 more minutes. As soon as he leaves my room, I miss him. But soon I am asleep and see him in my dreams. No nightmares tonight. Just me, Fang and the beach.

At school the next day I see Fang talking to Danielle. This angers me. And then I see her face. She looks pissed. Good. All of a sudden, I am smacked into from behind and thank god fore my good reflexes. I break my fall and jump around to see who the hell just hit me. During th twisting of my body, something bad happened. Really bad.
I let out a yelp and collapse onto my knees and sink down to lay on my back. I see the person who had hit me get down on his knees and look down at me. My vision is hazy and pain is exploding in my front side. I can't even tell where. My whole torso feels like is been cut in half and lit on fire.
More figures stand over me and all of a sudden the boy is pushed away and Fang is standing over me. He's talking but I can't bare the pain any longer and I close my eyes.
Fang POV
"Danielle, I'm with Max. There was a misunderstanding between her and I."
she glares at me. "I s much prettier than that bitch. She's not even cool. You are wayyyy out of her league."
"Ha." I laugh. "Max is beautiful and much cooler than you." I hear a commotion and Danielle laughs at whatever was happening behind me. I turn around and see some guy had hit Max. She is falling to the ground. I race to her. There are people surronding her. She is on her back and wincing and clutching her chest. My heart breaks and I just want to take her pain. Someone yells to call an ambulance.
I push the guy who is leaning over her out of the way and get down by her. "Max can you hear me?"
She doesn't answer. She just pulls her arms in closer to her chest and let's out a groan, gritting her teeth. "Max, baby. Stay awake for me."
Her eyes close and I reach up to her face. They stay closed. I shake her, "Max come on!"
Her body relaxes. Oh god, no.
Soon an ambulance screams around the corner and it pulls up to the curb beside us, thankfully we we're already outside. I tell the paramedics the little that I knew about her condition and her gall bladder.
"Unfortunately, we can't bring you with us kid." And they leave with her. I stare as the sirens disappear down Wickery Drive. My heart dragging on the ground behind the ambulance.
