So, this is the completed first ending. Enjoy...

Chapter 21

A Fitting End

Harri was sitting at the kitchen table in her home in London. Her long hair tied back in tight braid. She was dressed in muggle clothes, a pair of jeans and light green blouse. Her green eyes were absently skimming the line of a runes book. She was nursing a cup of tea while playing with a small letter on her kitchen table. She was going to have to deliver a very important letter later today and she didn't feel like leaving her home yet. She was lost in thought and didn't even notice when someone else walked into the kitchen. He seemed to be in his late teen and was fairly tall with turquoise hair and light brown eyes.

Twenty years had come and gone faster than Harri had thought possible. She could still remember the look on Sirius' face when he saw the engagement ring on her finger. Of course, she hadn't actually gotten married right away, she had waited about three years for that commitment. The ring was more of a promise of things to come than it was for an immediate marriage. Despite the passage of time, Harri still looked like she was in her twenties. Sometimes she enjoyed the perks of having Veela blood in her veins.

Nearly a year later she had twins, a boy and a girl, Jace Sirius and Lila Rose. Both of them managed to get the Potter hair color, but Jace got George's blue eyes, while Lila got Harri's. They were going into their sixth year a Hogwarts and Harri was expecting at least thirty detention notices from McGonagall about her daughter.

Ironically, Lilia was the troublemaker out of the twins, taking after her father, Sirius and her grandfather. Of course, Sirius and George are only encouraging the behavior and Harri wasn't going to stop her daughter's fun, unless her grades slipped. Out of everything, Harri was very strict when it came to grades. She expected good marks from her children. She had to be the strict parent. She didn't expect George to be, he was too kind to the kids.

Jace wasn't exactly quiet, but he took after his mother and he liked to be in the background when it comes to pranks, but he does play chaser for the Gryffindor Quidditch team with his best friend Lucas Black, Luna and Draco's son. Apparently, Jace is also very popular with the girls in his year. Though, Harri knew that he had a crush on Alanna Diggory, Hermione and Cedric's daughter, who was a year younger than her son. He wasn't a fan of attention like his sister was, but trouble usually found him, which was a Potter trait.

Hogwarts was interesting because at one point Teddy Lupin, Ariana Black and Jace and Lila were all in the same house together. Harri didn't know if McGonagall was going to make it during those four years. That group was trouble, a new generation of Marauders, one that was growing up too fast if Harri had anything to say about it.

Currently, Teddy and Lila were skating around the concept of dating each other. The young man took after his father by completely avoiding the person that he had feelings for. Though, he didn't have an excuse for wanting to avoid her like Remus did. Lila was angry at him, but Harri doubted that it would last, she was completely head over heals with Teddy.

Then there was Ariana, she was a heart breaker even though she didn't try to be. In all honesty, she was completely oblivious to the fact that she was desirable to men. She looked a lot like her father with her stormy grey eyes and dark curly hair. Ariana took after her father as well, since she and Teddy were partners working with the Aurors. Harri was the godmother to both Teddy and Ariana.

Today, Harri was doing a favor for Hermione, who was the new History of Magic professor at Hogwarts. It had taken years, but they had finally gotten rid of Binns. Harri had rejected an offer to teach Ancient Runes at Hogwarts. She figured that it would be weird to work with her friends and family. She couldn't even imagine working with Snape. They might be on good terms, but they still had their moments where they fought and Bellatrix only egged them on further.

She preferred her job researching runes in the Department of Mysteries. She was closer to George that way and she knew that her kids would be mortified if she ever decided to teach at Hogwarts while they were in school. It was awkward enough when Sirius and Remus taught at Hogwarts, she didn't want her kids going through that as well.

Harri was supposed to hand deliver a Hogwarts acceptance letter to muggle family. A few rules had changed since Harri went to Hogwarts. All letters that were going to muggle families had to be hand delivered by a witch or wizard designated by the school. Harri was one of those designated witches or wizards. She would have to leave soon.

"Harri," a masculine voice said from behind her. The raven haired witch turned around in her chair and smiled at the young wizard, whose hair changed from turquoise to a bright orange. The color orange usually meant that he was nervous.

"What is it, Teddy?" Harri asked with a raised eyebrow, she had a good idea about what he was going to ask her.

"Do you know if Lila is seeing anyone?" he responded running a hand through his hair. A habit that he picked up from spending too much time with Harri growing up.

"I don't think so, Teddy. Why don't you ask her yourself? It's not like you to avoid Lila for so long," Harri told him as she stood up from the table. She put a hand on his shoulder and lifted his chin up with her other hand, so he was looking her in the eyes.

Teddy's eyes were currently a light amber in color, mirroring his father's. They were Lila's favorite eye color on him. "Well, Harri, I think you can guess why I'd want to know if she was dating someone. It's just we grew up together and I don't know if she only thinks of me like a brother," he mumbled and Harri sighed.

"Rest assured that she doesn't think of you like a brother. I doubt she would have kissed you last Christmas if she thought of you as a brother. Now, don't tell George that I gave you the go ahead for dating Lila, he'll be furious," she replied with a wink and young Auror's hair changed from orange to turquoise. He rushed off into the house, tripping over something a few moments later.

Harri rolled her eyes and picked up the letter on the table. She was going to have to get the over with one way or another. She pulled her wand out and disapperated to her target destination. The street was a familiar one. She was in Surrey, Number 4 Privet Drive to be exact. There was a young wizard in the household named Devon Dursley. From what she had understood about the Dursley's current living situation was that Vernon had died due to a heart attack when Dudley was twelve. Apparently, Dudley had a change of character after losing his father. He, from what Harri heard, lost weight and started to take school seriously. He got married and had a little boy with his wife. Sadly, three years ago a gas line exploded in his office building, killing him and most of the other employees inside. Dudley's wife had moved in with Petunia and they were raising young Devon together.

Harri just hoped that he was being treated right by his grandmother. There was no doubt that he has had bouts of accidental magic.

The raven haired woman knocked loudly on the door and within a few seconds it opened. She looked down to see a young boy. He seemed to be average in both height and weight, he had bright hazel eyes and light blonde hair on his head. He seemed healthy which was always a good sign.

"I'm not allowed to let strangers in the house," he said not recognizing the woman in front of him.

"Hello, I'm Harri and I'm here to give something to you and talk to your guardians. Would you mind getting them?" She asked and he nodded, but before he could leave she handed him a sealed envelope. She winked at him before he blushed and ran into the house.

"Granny Tuney, there's a lady at the door who wants to talk to you!" he shouted. Harri heard quickly padding towards the entrance. She saw Petunia before the older woman saw her. Time hadn't been good to her aunt. Most of her blonde hair was grey and slightly stringy, her blue eyes were dull and tired and she seemed a little too thin.

As soon as her Aunt's eyes landed on Harri, her skin paled at least three shades. Harri was worried the poor woman was going to faint. "It's been awhile, hasn't it, Aunt Petunia. I'm surprised that you still live here. We have a lot to discuss," Harri stated, walking into the house without being invited in.

"Why are you here?" She asked horsely. Harri saw that her Aunt was eyeing her nervously.

"Your grandson has been invited to Hogwarts and I'm here to give him his letter and explain what's going to happen. I'll need to speak to his mother as well," Harri replied and Petunia pulled out a phone and made a call.

The call didn't last long, but it seemed that Devon's mother was coming back home. Petunia led Harri to the sitting room where the sat awkwardly. Harri wasn't about to talk to her, she had better things to do, like count the floor boards or look at her nails.

"Ms. Harri, is it true that I'm a wizard?" a small voice asked from the doorway. It was Devon, clutching his Hogwarts letter to his chest. The raven haired woman nodded with a smile and the young boy did a happy dance. "Can you show me some magic?"

Harri laughed at his enthusiasm. "Sure, let me pull out my wand," she said with a wink. Harri pulled out the cloth bag that Hermione gave her all those years ago for her birthday. She opened it and pulled out her wand, making Devon gape and Petunia turn a nasty shade of grey. They both knew that an even inch wand couldn't come out of a five inch pouch.

"Will I learn to do that?" Devon asked in awe, his hazel eyes wide.

"That was nothing. The bag is charmed to hold a lot of things in it. You'll learn more when you go-"

"You aren't going Devon!" Petunia snapped and Harri raised an eyebrow.

"Where isn't Devon going, Petunia?" A quiet feminine voice asked from the entry way.

The woman was very familiar to Harry, she had spent a few years in class with her. "Susan? Susan Bones, it's been a long time. I didn't know that you married my cousin!" Harri said astonished, but the witch stood up and hugged her old friend. She noticed that Susan's eyes narrowed at Petunia for a moment before she smiled at Devon.

"After Hogwarts I went into social work between muggle and magical people. Quite frequently I'm taking magical children from abusive homes," Susan replied sadly. Harri nodded, understanding the situation. She had heard, more often than not, muggle families abusing their children because of their unexplainable magical powers.

"You're one of them! Did Dudley know what you were?" Petunia hissed, stepping away from Susan and Harri.

"Yes, he did and he thought that it was brilliant! He was excited when I told him that Devon would be going to a school for children gifted with magic. Unlike you, he wasn't prejudice! I can't believe that Dudley and Harri are related to you! No wonder Dudley told me not to tell you about my abilities," Susan huffed, arms crossed.

The rest of Harri's afternoon was spent pacifying Petunia Dursley. By the time she got home she was drained, but she could hear crashing coming from inside the house. She groaned and walked in to find Teddy, whose hair was a light sandy brown, on the ground with Lila holding a pillow threateningly over him. Lila's hair was in a messy bun on the top of her head, and her green eyes were flashing dangerously. "Don't smother him," Harri warned as she walked out of the room.

"Harri!" Teddy shouted before she heard him yelp before her daughter attacked.

"Don't you ever avoid me again, you prat!" she shouted and Harri heard the multiple thumps of the pillow hitting her godson.

Harri quickly summoned some pots, pans and cooking ingredients for dinner. It was her turn to cook tonight. She was just going to make pasta and some sauce tonight, she really didn't feel up to anything else.

Around fifteen minutes later Harri saw her son walk into the kitchen. His raven colored hair standing up on all ends on his head. His blue eyes were tired, it seemed that he woke up from a nap. "Smells great, mum. Is dad coming home tonight?" he asked, pulling out silverware and plates to set at the table a room over.

George sometimes loses track of time with his brother in their joke shop. "He better be or he's sleeping on the couch tonight," he muttered and she heard Jace snort.

"I thought Teddy was staying on the couch tonight. Apparently, Ariana brought a bloke home and he doesn't want to be in their flat for a few days," Jace commented absently. Harri wondered if Sirius knew that his daughter had a love interest. She smirked, she hoped that he found out by accident, his face would be priceless.

"Then your father will be sleeping on the floor," Harri replied bluntly.

"I'm sleeping on the floor?" A familiar voice questioned from kitchen entryway. Jace edged out of the room when he saw his dad walk over to his mum and wrap his arms around his her waist.

"You would have been if you forgot to come home again," Harri responded, giving him a quick kiss.

"When have I ever done that?" George asked innocently, sounding slightly offended.

"Would you like the list in a letter or an email?" Harri replied. Harri made sure that her family was well aware of muggle technology and how to use it, especially since Sirius' business went global in the Muggle world. Surprisingly, he was very good with making parts for machines, that with a little magic, rarely broke.

"Don't get cheeky, love," George mock scolded, his blue eyes glittering with mischief. It might have been twenty years, but nothing had changed between her and George. They still acted like lovesick teenagers. Harri was enjoying the peace of time passing. She gently raised a hand to her collarbone and traced an outline of a scar that had appeared a year after she had returned from the past, right where the second killing curse had hit her. It was a peculiar one, it was a triangle with a circle and a single line down the middle. She wasn't sure what it meant, but she figured that only time would tell.

So, this is the end…or is it? April Fools! I'm leaving this on an eternal cliffhanger! Only I will ever know the true ending! XD I still have half of the paradox ending to write and I'm super busy today, that's why this chapter is out so late in the day. I'm glad that you guys have all stuck around and read the story this long. I can't believe that it's ending next week. It has literally been over a year of work put into this story.

I will be marking it as complete after this ending, because it's actually ended. I'll be adding the paradox ending next week, unless something comes up.

Oh, I think I'm forgetting something:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FRED AND GEORGE!

Thank you for all the excited comments about my original work! I will probably be using a pen name and not show my face, to add a little bit of mystery. I'm not a fan of showing my face either. XD

Okay, enough about me and more about thanking you guys! Thank you so much for all your reviews and positive feedback throughout this journey! I'll miss writing for you guys and I'll probably feel lost after ending this. I'm almost done with the first chapter of the Avenger/Harry Potter crossover. Just debating on a few things before I post it.

Review goal for the paradox ending: 264
