Tsuruga Ren felt a vein throbbing on his temple as he saw another flash of light, followed by a suspicious fits of giggles, a few meters away from where he and his girlfriend was.

It has been two days since the president had given him a few days of rest, which he certainly deserved, Lory Takarada emphasized, and it hadn't been a full day since Kyoko asked him a favor. To teach her how to swim for her latest acting project.

The young actress was going to play as a mermaid, and he just watched her going all dreamy-eyed as she told him the details while they eat dinner in his apartment one night, with a sappy smile on his face.

Sometimes, he asked himself, where did the Calm, collected and cool Tsuruga Ren go? And then, a voice inside his head would answer, 'Love kicked him far, far away.'

Ugh. Lovestruck, sappy Tsuruga Ren.

And the day after, since they didn't have anything on their schedules (Kyoko told him that the president had given her a few days of rest as well and Ren could only narrow his eyes as he looked at the innocent face his manager was making when she told him this), they were now on the fifteenth floor of his apartment building where the swimming pool was located.

The fifteenth floor was devoid of people which was kind of unusual, except for his manager who offered to look out for their things while they swim.

Rather, when you teach Kyoko on how to swim, Yashiro thought, as he clutched his ever trusted camera in his hands, with a mischievous look on his bespectacled eyes.

And so the lessons started, after a few minutes of stretching (Ren explained the importance of this to Kyoko so as to prevent cramping or pulling a muscle while swimming).

Since teaching someone how to swim required a few touches here in there, Ren's eyebrows would twitch in annoyance as girly squeals were heard every time he would touch the young actress. (Luckily, Kyoko didn't notice because she was intently concentrating on his words as he taught her). It also didn't help that he only wore a pair of swimming shorts and Kyoko an innocent one-piece swimsuit.

It's a surprise though that she wouldn't run away from me every time I touch her like this, the tall actor thought as he grasped her arm and moved it to demonstrated the needed movement.

(And of course, a few camera flashes and giggles followed suit seconds after the contact.)

"They're so perfect and beautiful that it's making me cry~ oh my God! I don't think I can take this anymore! So! Much! Perfection!" Yashiro exclaimed, while clicking on the shutter away as he watched Ren and Kyoko.

Their belongings laid forgotten on a bench a few steps away from him, but he wasn't worried. Ren's apartment building had always been secured and he was sure no one would attempt to steal from them. (And yes, him volunteering to look after their things was just an excuse. Heh, of course. Everything for his OTP.)

But it surprised him when Ren actually agreed for him to be there. Pft.

After half an hour of picture taking and fanboying, his eyes widened in shocked when his camera suddenly died.

"No, no, noooooo!" Yashiro exclaimed, as he shook the device on his gloved hand. "Ugh, my camera, you can't do this to me! You can't fail me! I'm not finished taking pictures yet! And I've brought four other memory cards with me. Just in case, you know. But that's not the point, okay! Ugh, why now? Huhu. My cameraaaa!"

"Eh? What happened to Yashiro-san?" Kyoko suddenly stopped and grasped her boyfriend's arm for support (and for her to keep her head above the water, she didn't realize that she had swam too far from the shallow part of the pool. For a person who just learned how to swim an hour ago, she was making a huge progress), when they heard a wail from the manager.

"It's nothing," the tall actor answered, smiling, silently thankful of Kyoko's unusual talent to block all things out when she concentrated on something.

Ah, yes, this is life, he then thought as he felt more comfortable without the continuous flashes of light around them.

He only wished Yashiro would shut up and stop crying though.
