Chapter 20: Messiah CompleX Part 2
-Xorn's Hideout-
"Where is he?"
"More than likely down in the transporter room, doing whatever it is he does in his spare time."
One of their members was on call with Magus looking for Xorn, as he had an update that needed to be reported now, though he was unavailable as it seemed.
"I can take the message to him, though right now we're in a critical stage of the plan."
"Very well then…"
Magus took the message in full, with and cut the line to the member, he made his way down the transporter room where Xporn and Shin were watching another reality. "So, this House of M was a true utopia for Mutants?"
'Ah, he's educating him more so on the multiverse.' The Technarch thought to himself.
"Yes, it truly was. Mutant would have overtaken the human population in less than five more years, Inhumans and Atlanteans stayed within their own confines, Ororo Munroe ruled half of Africa, the Kree never dared to strike at Earth. It was a paradise…except for two primary things…"
"I take it that there were still humans?" That much Shin could tell, as despite how successful Magneto was at suppressing the lesser species down several pegs.
"Yes, and the fact that it was all held together by Wanda Maximoff."
"The very same Wanda Maximoff that killed several Avengers forcing them to break up for a time, warped the reality that we have now into what you're seeing, and then reduced the Mutant population down to less than two hundred from thirty-two million. It was all very delicate and complicated, well, spell I guess you could say, that became interwoven with so many realities save for just a handful throughout the multiverse." It was very impressive what she did, and only she and one other could undo it together, but it wouldn't happen for another two years or so.
Shin was now very intrigued by what Wanda could do, it was truly god like in how Kaguya placed their world into the Infinite Tsukuyomi, "So this will be our endgame?"
"Very much so, without the problems that were mentioned. And in a rather different way. The path to the end, will not be entangled with such shortsightedness."
Shin was a 'What If...?' sort of man, that liked to brainstorm on many ideas and possibilities of the past, present and the future to further evolution, "Have you ever wondered if Uzumaki had landed in that reality? How things would've gone? More than likely we'd see more humans getting equality which they shouldn't…but who would catch his eye per say? I mean Sinister is already trying to figure out if it's worth the risk and venture to try and combine his genetics with the dead Phoenix host, her daughter or that new born in Alaska. But none of them exist there save for the daughter." Shin looked to Xorn who hadn't spoken a word was staring at the viewing screen of this monarchist world of Magneto's.
Then he got up and walked over to the command board and started to punch up several lines of coding and the screen suddenly began to whizz by with multiple different pictures and feeds of other realities, Shin and Magus looked to one another and were stumped by his actions so the multi-eyed Uchiha spoke up.
"Xorn, what are you doing?"
"You are quite the genius Shin."
"Thank you, but you still didn't answer my question."
"Ah, well you see, what you said now has me very interested in performing an experiment. What if, we take another Uzumaki whom has similar traits as our own, and drop him into another reality with mutants at the forefront?" He managed to capture the image of another Naruto that was about two years older than his current self, Magus had a message from another member, but he was waiting out this little thing Xorn had going, this could be beneficial in the long run if he thought what he was thinking of doing.
Shin was curious about how they were going to go about this, "So, how exactly will we be doing this? Will we be dropping him into his House of M reality?"
"Yes, but now we simply need to find the woman for him."
Shin looked back to the viewing screen and took to the computer and punched up a few mutant women from said reality, "What about her?"
Xorn and Magus each took a step back to see who it was, "She's too unstable for anything."
"Her?"
"Part of his stupid harem that Black Panther has going."
"This one?"
"Too full of herself."
"Ok, what about this one?" Shin pulled up someone that was truly powerful.
"She's perfect. And her mutation makes her incredibly powerful already, not unstable, intelligent, no problems in both body or mind…" Xorn snapped the picture of the alternate Lorna Dane up and had it next to the other Naruto.
"Now boys, let's get to work quickly, before the rest of this event progress too quickly…"
-The Institute-
After getting the call to head back to the school, Naruto teleported back to his room, where Nori was already in uniform and waiting for him, "Hey, nice timing. Cyclops' has a part for us now, he wants you and me only though. Any ideas why?"
Naruto figured that he had a job for his team, though more than likely just one that they could handle. He had been told not to say anything on the Purifiers just yet, as what they did, or almost did to them the last few times still hit his friends hard. "Probably wants us to take out some of the opposition, at least that's what I think."
"You know, before you got back we all talked to Summers about getting involved, and then Santo had to say something stupid to him, which got an eye blast straight to his chest."
"Really? Can't say I'm so surprised."
"He talks big but can't deliver sometimes."
They came to the war room and found Cyclops waiting for them, and he had several screens going at once with news reports, data and files on their enemies. "Naruto, Surge. Good to have you both here. Right now, the Assault Team is en route to the arctic circle to engage the Marauders, and with X-Factor on standby with Jamie and Rictor on their own jobs right now, I need your team for something." Cyclops pulled up the news feed from CNN and showed off the reports from earlier on the aftermath of the massacre, and while Naruto knew who all was in on it, Surge wasn't… "The Purifiers were there?!" She turned to Naruto next to her, "I thought you wiped them out that night when they broke through the gates!"
"Yeah so did I, guess a few of…" He stopped mid-sentence when he suddenly began to gag, he couldn't breathe for a bit until he felt something crawling up his throat from his stomach, Cyclops and Surge looked at him with a bit of worry since he never really had anything like this happen before while he was here then something black and orange flew out of his mouth and landed right the holotable.
And low and behold, Naruto realized it was that toad Gerotora that had shoved himself down Naruto's throat back at Mt Myoboku in order to gain Kurama's power, as his dad had planned that fateful night. Gerotora practically ignored his surroundings and looked right up at Naruto and spoke in their native tongue, "Naruto what the hell is this?!"
He blinked at what the toad said, "What do you mean?" Gerotora raised himself up to unroll the scroll that was his belly, and revealed the seal to Naruto, "This is what I mean! I find myself knocked out for Kami knows how long, and then I find this stuff scribbled onto my belly and the scroll pretty much altered or as I would say, VIOLATED while I was out cold! And you don't even have the common courtesy to check up on me!" Sure enough Naruto, took a second look at the Eight Trigram Seal that was altered a bit.
There magatama markings on the outer edges of the writings, and that the spiral symbol was replaced with what looked like a Rinnegan, with the wording of the entire seal spreading off from it, in the form of tree branches he wagered. Cyclops and Surge just looked at the scene with their eyes wide like a deer in headlights, it just seemed weird despite what they've seen in the past, for a teenager to talk with a frog that wasn't confined to the laws of biology that pertained to their frogs.
"Yeah, umm…about that…I got a lot to tell you, but can it wait? I'm really in a hurry to get on with a mission." Gerotora rose a curious eyebrow, and that's pretty much when he looked around the room and looked at Surge and Cyclops to see that he was in present company that looked very weird, nothing like the Elemental Nations that he had toad let out an annoyed sigh, "Ok, fine. But I want to know just what hell has been going on with you and the seal soon, got it?"
"Yeah, no problem, now can you please get back in my stomach?"
"Yeah, sure whatever. Now open wide."
"Aaaahhhh…" He opened up as wide as he could and let Gerotora jump into his mouth, though pretty much like the last time he was only about halfway through grumbling how Naruto needed to open up wider, and with the whiskered shinobi gagging once again. He turned to the other two occupants in the room with some help, though Surge looked like she was about to gag, Cyclops turned the dial on his visor down several notches so he wouldn't hurt either of them, and shot a small blast just strong enough to shove the toad back down the ninja's throat.
"Bleh! I hate that taste! The horror of their food…" He shivered at the memory of having to eat Granny Shima's food, and being forced to eat it since there was nothing else on that damn mountain.
"Want something to wash it out?"
"No, no I'm used to that crap by now, l-let's just get on with it."
-One of the Futures; 80 Years from Now-
Jamie had been running for God knows how long, he and Naruto had gotten separated by some big ass 'Lava Golem' as he called it and they were being pursued by these Technarchs that prowled the streets. From what he had seen of this third timeline, well… "This place is a fucking nightmare. How the hell did it come to this?"
From what he had been seeing while he was on the run, the people were all Mutants but, something about them was off, way off. No one was talking about Humans at all, and they all seemed all too tense, as if someone or something was watching them all and they were afraid like hell. Then there was the symbol that was on the major skyline buildings, a crescent moon and star encompassed within a circle. But was more noticeable, was the blood red moon that loomed in the night sky, as there was a pattern that he had noticed but was unable to make out due to running for his life.
"Come on, come on, gotta keep moving Madrox."
He suddenly felt an arm grasp ahold of him and was about to deck whoever it was, until he recognized that it was the NaruClone that came with him, "Shh…don't make a sound…"
He pointed up to the Technarchs currently crawling on the sides of the buildings actively hunting them down. They scanned with their eyes for whatever traces of the two, they left after finding nothing luckily and departed the deserted are of the city.
"Ok, just what the hell were those things?" Naruto had no idea, just what exactly a Technarch was so Madrox cleared it up for him, "Technarchs; technologically organic aliens that assimilate other organic synthetic matter into their hivemind collective. How the hell there so many of them I don't know, and why the hell the moon looks like a bloody eye is new to me."
Naruto raised a brow at what he said, at first Naruto was more concerned with just surviving and finding Madrox, with the mention of the moon, the NaruClone looked to the sky, and his eyes widened in horror of the moon, "There's…there's no way in hell it could happen again…it's impossible…"
"What? What's impossible?"
"The moon; it's been used as the main thing for the Inf-AGGH!" the NaruClone soon gripped his head in pain followed by Jamie. Someone was making a psychic attack against them, and they were winning. The NaruClone sensed a very powerful presence not since Kaguya approach them, and as he turned to them, he was unable to see their face as his sight was being shut down.
But before he saw a white bone impale Jamie straight through the head, along with a pair of glowing blue eyes with a Rinnegan ripple pattern like his own eyes, and the deadly Rinnesharingan that Kaguya held on their forehead, however…the silhouette of this person was not Kaguya…that was all he saw until he blacked out and felt a bone impale his own head, and dispersing the two of them in ash.
-Forge's Lab-
"There's been no change. The Prime Madrox is still in a coma, but his brain function is off the map." After Madrox began to seize up after the last use of the time machine, Forge had the med-bay on standby at his lab, and with things tense right now with the fate of their kind at stake, he couldn't take any chances.
"If you can spare Emma…" Now he was hoping to try and get Madrox awake, as the brain waves were not a very healthy thing to have going the way they were. But… "…she might be able to find out what's…"
"Emma's unavailable." Primarily since she was with the Assault Team about to tackle Sinister.
Forge just nodded, but sighed bit of displeasure. "…fine. I'll continue to monitor each timeline for any anomalies, but there's no way to know what's happening in any of the futures."
"Understood."
Forge looked back to Madrox, whom was hooked up to all sorts of medical equipment, and just rubbed the back of his head, "Scott…this is uncharted territory. If Madrox never wakes up…" Then they would lose a good friend, and a fellow Mutant and X-Man. Though Cyclops was now in his 'Leader' mode at the moment, and although Forge couldn't blame him, he believed that he should show some more humility concerning his health.
"We have to know what's happening here, Forge. It's worth the risks we're taking."
Forge just raised an eyebrow at what he was saying…sounding more like a military commander, than a team leader from the old days, "Listen to yourself, Scott. You'd knowingly sacrifice Jamie's life? And Layla? She's only a…"
"Our species is dying, Forge. We're on the verge of extinction. So, whatever's happening here, if we don't find a way to control it…all of our lives end here."
Despite how Cyclops spoke and was acting through the situation, he did have a point.
-Another Future; 80 Years from Now-
They travelled from Texas all the way back to New York, for the last five days in secret, with Naruto disguised as his old friend Sasuke.
Why you might ask? Well…
"Can't believe I'm a wanted man across half the damn planet." His mugshot, per say was posted across news bulletins, propaganda posters, etc.
The Madrox dupe had his hood up and did his best to keep his head down, while Layla had just grabbed a child sized coat from garage sale on their way, "Well spending the last five days travelling with you two wasn't part of the plan."
"Forge built a Time Machine, not a 'Space & Time Machine'." Layla was quick to point out the obvious thing that was said before they went forward through time, "And I'm a great travel companion. I found us snacks." She turned to Naruto disguised as Sasuke, "So what made you go with the whole 'Emo Douchebag' look?"
Naruto just shrugged his shoulders, "Eh, I was just thinking on disguising myself when we saw that poster of me looking all like some evil rebel and crap, thought I figured Sasuke's whole look would go with this future and all."
"You mean your new look blows, just like the future we landed in?"
"Yup, pretty much."
Madrox kept his eyes out for anything that seemed to be noteworthy on investigating, but then again, the entire city was worth it. Flying cars, weird fashion statements, but overall there were a couple of things: Armed police in squads patrolling every now and then, Naruto propagandad as some sort of evil anarchist across the ocean, and the fact that Mutants weren't even talked about or even mentioned in conversations passerby.
"So… you two noticed that no one is talking about Mutants, and there aren't any Mutants walking around in public?"
Naruto wasn't really sure, but as he kept looking and hearing things, Mutants were practically nonexistent. Which begged the question…
Why?
"Well…" Layla started walking towards the public library, which overall looked pretty abandoned. "…I may not know much about stuff in the future. But luckily, I kept my amazing power of common sense, which neither of you guys seem to have much of."
"Hey!"
"Hey!"
Getting into the library was easy, doing research was the hard, and boring part. Boring for Naruto that was, "Ugh, this suuuuucks… it's taking too damn long."
Madrox was with Naruto on this one. After combing through piles of books for the last few hours and no results, "He's right, shouldn't we try the internet now?"
Layla shook her head as she ditched another of the poorly kept books to the pile behind her, "No... you get way too distracted on the internet." She pulled out an old book with some pages already falling out, and was combing through it, as she waved for the guys to join her, "Whatever happened here, there have been no mentions of it on TV. Or newspapers, and no one is talking about it…"
Naruto furrowed his brows, "…that's weird. You would think people would talk about something so bad, to try and make sure others wouldn't repeat, whatever the hell it was." At least as far as his own people treated history, but then again, three great wars happened, so yeah…
Layla kept turning page after page, "Well, some people like to think parts of history that never happened, so they probably just decided having people talk about it against the law. And besides, we'll know what we want. No one goes to libraries. And they know all the good stuff."
Layla turned the final page, and it was a map of the world with several countries and continents highlighted into separate colors, each with X's marked for camps, and O's for cities. There were two colors of yellow and orange, representing the borders now, most parts of the Americas along with half of Europe, Australia and the lower half of Africa were designated the 'Humanities Republic' for yellow, while orange represented the 'Mutant Empire' which covered practically all of Asia, the Pacific Islands, the upper half of Africa and the second half of Europe.
"Like where they put all the Mutants…" And as she looked at Naruto, "…and how you apparently rule over the Mutant Empire, as they so eloquently put it." She turned the page to see a more adult Naruto with an 'X' shaped scar on the left side of his neck, in what looked like a replica of his dad's Hokage uniform, with a bio of him being 'The Mutant Lover of Humanity'; an avid supporter of what was called the 'Resistance' shortly after World War III, and then becoming its leader to the eventual founding of the Mutant Empire.
"Ok, they have got to be making a lot of this crap about me up."
Madrox was already trying to make some sort of sense of the info they had so far, "We could probably find out more if we try to get to the Empire, see what they have to say about this whole WW3 thing, which is really unsettling by the way, if that whole event made the future into this goddamn nightmare."
"Yeah…" Layla put the book away as she started walking out, "…but we should check out the camp in Sheepshead Bay first. Some of the Mutants would know, and we can find out what we want to know faster." The bay wasn't that far away from them, and after avoiding the MP's patrolling the streets and cautious eyes, they made it to the very edge of the camp, and it was a horrifying sight for the three of them.
Walls at least 200 feet high, with bunkers at every corner. Spotlights manned by armed personnel, automated heli-drones patrolling the skies, auto turrets with laser sights ready to unload their punishment. Guards in groups three to four people stationed at key points, with the main gate having every type of defensive piece of equipment that seemed possible, and that was what they could see. No telling what exactly was hidden.
Madrox summed up the whole damn thing, "Oh, God."
Naruto had to agree with him, this place was tighter than Hozuki Castle back home. "Getting in is gonna be a bitch. Getting out…still gonna be a bitch."
However, they were unaware of a someone watching them, and they smiled with glee, "I never thought I'd see you in this way again, Naruto."
-The New X-Men-
Cyclops had given them the mission to bring down the Purifiers over in DC for good, which would leave them only with Sinister and the Marauders to deal with afterwards. The whole team, minus Prodigy, Dust and Elixir, but plus Armor after her mission with the senior X-Men to the Breakworld.
Taking the second Blackbird and heading to DC was easy, finding a good hiding spot near their target was not. They climbed the rooftops, with Naruto already using his Senjutsu to find the most amount of traffic in the cathedrals, and already a plan in motion.
And luckily, they had an inside source already through Rictor, but his last check in was delayed, so whatever info he gathered beforehand was all they had to go off of.
"Naruto, you got an idea how many we're up against?" Surge looked over the edge of the wall, gauging the best entry point, with multiple patrols of one or two guys together.
"There's about fifty of them in there, they're pacing around, getting antsy from the way they're moving." The plan was for their stealth specialist to infiltrate and link up with Rictor in secret, get him out, destroy the Purifier base, and take them out of the fight for good. "But wait…that's, weird…"
Surge looked back to him, "What is it?"
Naruto scrunched his face up in confusion, "There's about a dozen of them that're half there, and half not." His Senjutsu sensing abilities have been top notch, enough to give Daredevil, Spider-Man, Wolverine and Laura's own a run for their money, more so at times, but now he wasn't sure if what he was getting was real.
"Hey, uh dude? You know you nose is bleeding, right?" Rockslide pointed out to the ninja.
Naruto dropped out of his concentration, and just like he said his nose was bleeding. He brought his fingers to feel and he the warm liquid dripping from his nose. The next thing he knew, he felt a massive headache, as one of his clones was killed and the memories tried to come back to him, but they were nonexistent, liked they were wiped, and the only thing he could gleam was the blood red moon of what he saw.
He gripped his head in pain, and dropped out of Sage Mode with the rest of his team gathering around him, worrying about his current condition, thinking nothing bad could happen to the guy.
"Naruto!"
"Woah!"
"Hey, are you alright?"
"Is he gonna be ok?"
"What do we do?"
"He's having a form of a psychic attack." Laura had seen it before in her past missions and in the logs of the X-Men's database. Eventually the pain in his head stopped, and he wiped the blood away from his nose.
"I'm…I'm alright now, for the most part."
Armor was still in the unknown when it came to Naruto and his own set of skills, "What just happened?"
"I-I think one of my clones just got killed, but when he died, someone wiped his memory, and the whole thing came to backlash me." Now that was scary. They were no strangers to telepathic powers, and the best telepaths that they knew were Professor Xavier, Rachel Grey -whom was currently in space-, Psylocke -whom was lost in a recent mission to another reality-, and Emma Frost. And the White Queen was only able to get into his head with his permission.
If someone was able to get into Naruto's mind forcefully, and wipe a part of his memory…it was a scary prospect that they didn't want to entertain.
Surge put a hand on his shoulder for some comfort, and to see if he was able to keep going. "You sure you're gonna be ok?" Even though he had more experience than her in combat, she was also co-leader of the team, if he couldn't carry on, then she would have to step up with full responsibility.
Naruto just shook his head a bit, "I'm not sure, just give me a few minutes to get together."
She understood, Surge turned to Laura for their recon, "Laura? What do we have outside?"
Laura looked back out to the Purifier church, "I can smell their weapons, all military grade, best case scenario, they only have lead based rounds. Worst case; Vibranium rounds. They all have anti-telepathic implants. There are at least seven patrolling outside, all armed with anti-mutant weaponry. Two guards on the upper level, no weapons. The side entrance is the one we want…" She didn't get out of her team, if anything they seemed more confused, so she clarified herself, "…it's the most heavily guarded."
Armor was astounded by the level of analytics of what she saw between just two members of this team she signed up with at the last minute, "Wow."
Rockslide just shrugged, "You ain't seen nothing yet, Armor-all."
-The Canadian Rockies-
The Predator X had been running for a long time, it didn't know how much time had passed since it devoured the two mutant corpses in that small town, nor did it really care. It was after the faces that its master ordered it to kill and eat. It was nearing one already, a young mutant currently breathing fire on a pile of logs.
It gave it no time to react and defend itself as it pounced on the mutant and tore his head off first, then the limbs followed by the organs and whatever it could eat. Even the last drop of its blood was licked clean off the ground. As it was finished with its meal, it felt something develop next to its lungs, and out of instinct, knew what to do.
He breathed in deeply, and spat out a torrent of fire, just as its latest victim did, but to far larger and heavier degree, setting the cabin on fire, along with a good portion of the forest as well.
It sniffed the air, and knew that there were others it had to seek out and devour, but now it caught the scent of the ultimate prey.
And as any hungry predator, it ran to catch the next meal.
-Xorn-
It wasn't all that difficult to accomplish and set their experiment into motion, and they still had a bit of time before the next phase of the hunt for the Messiah began, and for the inception to implant.
"Well, we'll just see how things go with that new little experiment you came up with Shin." Xorn complimented his new ally.
Shin nodded, "Truth be told, I wasn't even being serious, but now I'm curious as to whether or not we'll do it again." If anything, having to perform more variants of the same experiment could prove very useful, but that was for another day. "By the way, shouldn't our new nano hybrids be springing into action right about now?"
Magus shook his head, "Not yet." He could feel the nano sized technarch-sentinels inside the massive Sentinels, peering right at their victims, ready to begin their sickly process at their command. "Once the process has started, we cannot stop it. They'll be a test against the X-Men, and once it is finished, they will return to us. And the data we receive will be very valuable for the next phase."
"Which will be?"
"The Builders." Xorn spoke up, "The Builders will then be the next logical step in which we will take this part of our plans." He brought up the key to their success, "This will be what they will work on, and they shall help us, even if we have to bring them under our thrall. They will become our vanguard for the next step in our victory."
Shin and Magus smiled at that, "Wicked."
The Builders were among the oldest species in their universe, in the multiverse. They were once children of Captain Universe, and now they resented her, only to begin their own work of seeding life, and wiping away what they considered to be an evolutionary dead-end.
And under the Akatsuki's control, they would succumb, they would help mutantkind ascend, and they would serve them, however they pleased.
-The Dominion Range, Antarctica; X-Men Assault Team-
It didn't take long for them to find Amelia Voght, a former girlfriend of Xaviers and former Acolyte of Magneto. She had been living a normal life as a hospital nurse, without a single powered thing happening to her. And she enjoyed it all, until Wolverine came in posing as a car accident victim, and then blowing her identity, forcing Voght to use her powers to evaporate into the vents, which gave Storm and Omega Sentinel -whom they picked up back at the Institute- the chance to catch her off guard.
Turns out, Voght was trying to protect the X-Men from Sinister and his group, not the other way around, and they were told that one of the bases currently being used was in Antarctica.
The team composed of Wolverine, Colossus, Angel, Storm, Omega Sentinel and Nightcrawler, whom was currently scouting ahead their target, were in the Blackbird, just waiting for Nightcrawler to get back for confirmation on Sinister and his lackeys.
Warren was worried enough already, "Something's wrong." It had been at least half an hour since the teleporter went ahead of them.
Omega Sentinel had his vitals already marked and so far, nothing had actually happened. "His vitals are normal. No increase in heart rate." Wolverine just brushed it off, he had come to trust the man like his own brother, and had faith in his abilities and fighting skills.
"Relax. Elf knows what he's doing."
The second he said that, Nightcrawler teleported back into the Blackbird shivering a bit before he brushed off the bits of snow that came with him.
"Kurt! Well?"
"Ja...they're here."
And they were unaware.
Inside, Sinister had been gathering whatever data he could on Naruto. That one encounter told him enough that he would be quite the enigma, and the powers, even if minor, that he displayed were various and natural.
Not something found common in the Mutant race, and with only a measly 200 left, he could be invaluable. Merging his genetic strands of DNA with one of the Omega-level Mutants, namely Jean Grey, her daughter, or perhaps the newborn child earlier this morning, could…no would create a Mutant that would put all of his previous work, even Cable to absolute shame.
But, very little, if any genetic material of him was extremely hard to come by. He would have to devise some sort of plan for him to hand over his genetic material, if he was to get anywhere with his new work. But right now, the X-Men were becoming a problem that he simply did not need at this time.
Though given how they needed to move to their other base on Muir Island, some of the Marauders and the Acolytes were displeased, "What? We're running?"
"Cyclops is no fool…he knows what's at stake here. He will be coming, and direct conflict with the X-Men on their terms will not further our goals. So, we will confront them on my terms." By moving from one field to another where he had control over the situation, he could dispatch the X-Men with ease, acquire the genetic material from the boy, and hunt down and acquire the newborn child in one fell swoop. And it would not be easy, but that was the point of building up this little army to combat them.
Scalphunter noticed that someone hadn't come back from the can just yet, "Wait…where's Harpoon?"
Well, he got his answer when he came flying through the wall via plasma blast, courtesy of Omega Sentinel.
They turned to the opening where the X-Men were all primed and ready to through down, and Wolverine making their intentions known, "We're here for Rogue and the baby. Only question is, how many of you have to die before we get them?"
Yeah, they weren't fucking around right now, and Vertigo summed up the whole thing, "Oh, shit…"
Shit indeed.
-Washington DC, Purifier Base-
Getting the patrol patterns down was easy…getting the guards down before they could radio in…also easy…sneaking in without raising the alarm?
Also, easy…
At least as far as Anole and Naruto were concerned. Anole natural ability to blend in along with Naruto's Transparency Jutsu, which was invented by his godfather for less than stellar reasons…
And getting by oblivious guards was easy.
Hell, the whole thing was going too easy for Naruto's taste. "Hey, don't you think this whole op is a little too easy?"
Anole was crawling up on the ceiling, across the support pillars to keep from being seen, "Kind of, but I mean, you could get us out easy."
"True, but…I get the feeling someone's watching us."
"Wait, seriously?"
"Well, I mean after that town in Alaska, and with the whole head thing that I just had a bit ago, something's not right."
"Don't you think you're overthinking it a bit? Besides, we're here at the mainframe, let's just check their reports, and bring this damn place down."
They arrived at the basement where the computer mainframe was at, where all of their reports were sent across their numerous bases. "I'm not a very tech savvy guy, so…"
"I'm on it. Just keep an eye for anyone." Sad thing about this, was the Purifiers didn't even keep their network secure, and just from a few reports here and there… "They…they don't have the baby. They don't have the…"
Naruto turned around to explain it, "They wouldn't take it for themselves, they would've preferred killing the poor thing on sight. Trust me, dude…you weren't-" His words were filled with hate and venom, what the Purifiers did was unforgivable, and he wouldn't let a single one of them leave this church tonight. But he was cut off from a familiar voice.
"What the hell are you guys doing here?!" Naruto and Anole turned around to see Rictor garbed in a Purifier uniform.
"Rictor?! We came to get you outta here."
"And we take out the Purifiers tonight."
Rictor knew that Naruto went with Madrox and Layla to do whatever it was, but he discarded that though from his head when they mentioned 'we'. "'We'?"
His eyes widened in horror, "Oh, God…the New X-Men. You don't get it, kids…we've got a much bigger problem than the Purifiers."
Upstairs, there was a major brawl going on. The rest of the team had already engaged the Purifiers, and caught them by surprise, Pixie had let her dust gent into the air to disorient their enemy, while Mercury and X-23 sliced their weapons down to chunks, Rockslide, Hellion and Armor beat their bodies to pulp, and Surge, well after a bit of help from her co-leader, she took her powers up a few extra steps…
-Flashback; the Danger Room, Several Weeks Ago-
"So, why is it just you and me here?"
"Because Livewire…" Naruto's new nickname for Noriko due to her power and dyed hair, "…honestly, you need to expand your arsenal. Speed and shooting lightning out of your fingertips will only get you so far."
Naruto had asked Nori to come with him to train, she already had a keen tactical mind when the situation called for it, but her own power needed some extra tricks.
"Back home, most lightning users have everything you have down like nothing, and they can curbstomp you any day of the week." He tried his best not to sound like she sucked, but…
"Gee, that makes me feel so~ much better." Her voiced laced with sarcasm, oh how she wanted to shock him so badly right now, but she knew it wouldn't hurt him that much. She'd get away with shocking him and annoying the crap out of him. Some nice payback when he dyed her clothes baby blue that time after she called him 'Captain Whiskers of the Crap Noodles'…
"But!" He had an energetic smile on his face, "I'm gonna show you a few new things, and trust me, by the end of our training together, you're gonna thank me. Now, let's start with…" Naruto held his hand out and lightning began to charge up from his palm, and eventually taking the form of…
-Present Time-
Surge was wrapped up in armor made up of her electricity, with one hand holding a 'Lightning Katana' slicing through the armor of the Purifiers, while the other was free to from whatever else Naruto helped her get down. Or just shoot them up like they do it in Star Wars, either way works.
She would have to thank him after this whole op.
"Fry assholes!" She unleashed hell on one guy who was down from a punch, but not unconscious. She would have gone further, until she turned around when Hellion covered her from behind as several anti-mutant weapons went off, almost dealing something that would have given her trouble later on.
Hellion looked to see who it was that pulled the trigger, and lo and behold, it was Matthew Riseman. "You!" He threw up a TK barrier between him and Riseman as he charged in for a jaw breaking left hook that sent him through the wall, "You were at the mansion…" Now he was just as pissed as Surge was.
That two-faced hitman got back up and his eyes were filled with as much hatred as did Hellions, "Yes. I've been there many times, Mr. Keller. On my first visit, I sent that busload of your friends to Hell, and on the next I put a bullet in Ms. Collins' head. But, your diseased kind received help from the Devil himself, and dragged our Father Stryker down to Hell. And tonight, we will send you all, as well as Satan and his hellspawn back to where you all belong." Julian felt something cut through his barrier, but he was pulled away, by Naruto who had an outstretched hand, and a look of a calm storm, about rage through the night.
"Really…you think you assholes can kill me? Can kill us? Can kill a baby and get rewarded with some paradise in the afterlife? You're dead. Fucking. Wrong."
He would have kept going, but then he heard a voice that was laced with a desire, no…a pleasure to kill and do battle, "So, you are the one who is Satan himself in flesh and bone? You are not what I expected. Not in the form of a child." Now Naruto knew who were the sources of those 'half-life' signatures beforehand, "And you would be?"
The woman who was dressed in some ornate yellow, black and red armor, with long arms, and fingers that could slice through anything. Her hair done up in an oriental style with a bun and her hair hanging down past her neck, and similar facial structure that was similar to Nori and most of the people back in his homeland. Several other people gathered behind her, each with different and varying weapons in their hands, and protruding from their bodies with tech unlike any other.
"Deathstrike, and those with me are Reavers." She pointed directly at Naruto, "And tonight, you and your abomination of a child will die…"

The Maelstrom in the House of M Part 1 –
After losing control of her reality-altering powers and suffering a total nervous breakdown, Wanda Maximoff aka the Scarlet Witch unleashed chaos upon her teammates, the Avengers, killing and injuring many of their number. Magneto intervened and took his daughter to the island nation of Genosha, where Charles Xavier was to help her recover. But Xavier failed. So, Wanda's friends gathered to decide whether such a powerful, unstable individual should live or die.
But Wanda's brother, Pietro aka Quicksilver refused to leave her fate in the hands of others. He urged Wanda to use her powers to remake the world into a place where their family's fondest wishes came true.
Everything burned to white. Reality as they knew it vanished…
And was replaced by a society in which Mutants ruled the culture, dominating most countries, religions and politics. A society in which normal Humans – called 'Sapiens' – are the oppressed minority, viewed as an evolutionary dead end, a species that will die out within two generations.
A kingdom united under Magneto's House of M.
But just what if, a certain knucklehead ninja who saved the world, was suddenly cast from his world, into this one, into the era of Magneto's rise to power…?
What would come of this new variable in the world?
-Westchester, New York-
Charles Xavier was working in his office as he remembered the speech that the man Magneto gave on BBC when he destroyed the Sentinel fleet, and now with what his next plan was going to be, he felt that he needed to intervene. His cause was a good one indeed, but it was his methods that concerned him, as all-out war would become inevitable and so much blood, innocent blood at that would be spilled. He would have to approach the man the next time he made a move, and going by the movements it would be at the Marysville Mutant Relocation Center in California.
"If only I had acted sooner with Mutant rights…" He could only wonder how different things would be. Then suddenly he heard something smash through the roof, "What on earth…?"
As one crash came, so did another and another until it stopped when the roof of his office came down as he backed away from his desk. Debris and a cloud of dust settled over the impact point as he looked over to see a body with black rods impaling it, "My God…" Xavier walked over to see the body and now took in his appearance.
This was a boy who appeared to be in his late teens with sun kissed blonde hair, and a headband with what looked like a leaf symbol on the metallic plate part of it. He wore bright orange pants with a holster tied around his right thigh and black jacket that had a red swirl pattern on the left arm. However, that's what not what shocked him, rather instead it was the three black rods that were impaled on his left shoulder, his stomach and his left thigh, the bandages around his eyes, and the entire right arm from what he could see was bandaged up top to bottom. "What could have done this?"
Xavier had to delicately pick the boy up, who was certainly no lightweight, down to his father's room who was a well-respected medical doctor and nuclear physicist before his death, had left many surgical tools, medical equipment and books to him in the event he needed them, and right now he desperately needed them.
Having already a great amount of knowledge on the subject, Charles carried the boy to the room and cleared off the desk ignoring the books and other objects that clattered to the floor. After some work on keeping the boy on this side of the abyss, he had tried to remove the black rods but found that doing so by hand was a poor choice. When he touched the one on his stomach, he found that his hand burned with an absolute searing amount of pain that almost made it feel as if his entire arm was on fire. He needed to remove the rods and put pressure on the wounds so he wouldn't die from blood loss and fetched some tools to do so, however as he came back to the boy, the rods began to disintegrate before his eyes and the wounds were not as deep as he once thought.
Charles did what he could to treat the injuries, and began to examine the rest of his body, but he also wanted to make sure that he hadn't contracted anything dangerous not knowing about his immune system. After hooking up an IV to his left arm as the right was made from some unknown material that was something else entirely after lifting some of the bandages up, he took a blood sample and brought it to the equipment that was in the office.
What he saw was something he wasn't entirely sure was possible. All Humans and Mutants included had a total of 23 chromosomes, now in Mutants, the X gene that gave them their unique powers and appearances laid on top of the chromosome that debated their gender. However, this boy had a total of 24 chromosomes, something that contradicted their knowledge of science and this 24th chromosome warranted further investigation.
He took a skin sample from the right arm and found that someone else's DNA was composed of the entire thing, and once again, 24 chromosomes had appeared on this arm as well. How his body wasn't rejecting the organic prosthetic amazed him to no ends, however he also needed to see if his eye sight was alright judging from the bandages around them. Carefully he lifted his head up to undo the wrappings and opening the eyelids, he saw that this eye was not in fact normal at all even among animals. It was a metallic purple with black rings that almost pulsated away from the iris that was merely a dot, and then there were three comas arranged into a pattern that appeared to spin if they could, "These can't be natural." Not only that, as he peered into the eyes, he found himself begin to sweat and feel pressure around himself, it was as if the eye emitted so much power, just rolling off it, it was its own separate presence.
Charles lifted the other eye up and saw that it was the exact same thing, wanting to know more if these were his actual eyes, or something else, he went over to do to perform a biopsy on the eyes and after managing to extract some cells safely he discovered the very same thing 24 chromosomes, and all three sets from the boy were all different from one another, and no showing of the X gene. This boy had been experimented on, that was for certain no one had three sets of chromosomes, much less 24 of them, he needed to know what had been done to him.
Now Charles had made himself a rule to never use his telepathy without a good reason, but this was one such reason. He placed his hands on the boy's temples to dive into his recent memories, hoping to find some answers, he now found himself on the moon? He looked up to see that it was a moon, but not the moon as he looked down to the Earth and saw that the continents were not the ones that he was familiar with, he felt a massive wave of heat wash over him as he looked up to see two figures bathed in ethereal glows. One that he could recognize as the boy currently in an orange glow with black intricate markings on his body and two horns sprouting from his forehead and the other in a greenish blue glow with a single horn on his forehead. He saw the two dual one another as they both unleashed powerful attacks on and cursed at one another in some Japanese dialect, eventually the boy defeated his enemy, and he discovered what exactly had happened. A prophecy that would doom the world with crashing the moon into it, but it was misread by the boy's enemy, Toneri his name was and the boy himself was Naruto.
He saw that he was a good person and had unyielding will to protect his friends and others, he was putting his life on the line for the world, and he did it before in a war against a group of terrorists and his ancestor whose power eclipsed anything Xavier could have imagined.
As he tried to find his most recent memory, but as he dove in further, he forced back out violently, "Agh!" He gripped his own head in pain as something had forced him out of Naruto's head. It wasn't the boy himself, but rather it was a telepathic attack, some command of sorts to force anyone out of his head should they dig to close to whatever it was that did this to him. He had trained diligently over the years to perfect his telepathy and he had the most powerful mind on the planet, and this scared him, a powerful mind that had created a blockage in his memories that prevented anyone, and most likely Naruto from seeing what happened. The best thing he could do know was wait until he woke up and healed from the torture and experimentation of whoever did this, and perhaps explain things to him, in the hopes that he could help him deal with the loss of being cut off from home, and perhaps even helping his people.
Communicating with him would be no problem as he managed to implant some knowledge of English into his mind, with any luck, he could help Naruto come to terms with his situation and help him find a new cause and friends to fight for.
-Naruto-
The last thing he remembered was defeating Toneri, stopping the moon from crashing down into the world, showing him Hamura's ghost if you could call it that, and rescuing Hinata…but after that, everything was a complete blur, he couldn't remember anything at all past that point, maybe… 'Kurama? Kurama?! Hey Bunny Ears, are you there!?' Nothing not a peep out of him, not even the forbidden word could get his attention, he woke up in an office of sorts that he didn't recognize at all 'Where the hell am I?'
He was then greeted by a new voice in his head that he was not familiar with at all, 'Perhaps I can help with that.'
'Whuh?'
He looked over to see a bald man in a suit, with a lab coat on and he had a rather calm atmosphere from him, but that didn't mean he was going to let his guard down, though the man seemed to try and assure him that he wasn't in any danger as he held his hands up, 'I mean you know harm. My name is Charles Xavier, and I had to operate on you a bit to save your life. You came crashing through the roof and I thought you were almost dead. You're in my home, and if you let me, I can explain a bit.'
Naruto wasn't so sure about this as he had come out of saving the world again, but this time he wasn't with his friends, he had no idea who this man was, and he couldn't talk to Kurama, but there were times where he needed to take a leap of faith, and pray that it paid off in the end, 'Ok, so…where am I…?'
The old man began to tell him about how he landed here, how had treated him and dove into his mind to try and find out how, but he confirmed that he couldn't see what happened exactly, as he was forced away from the memory. Naruto asked him to try again but he told him that if he tried to go again with more force he could accidentally make him comatose for a very long time, or even kill him, so that was no longer something he could consider. Xavier continued to explain how he found two other DNA strains in his body on his right arm, and his eyes, which the latter shocked Naruto.
He asked for a mirror and saw that he told the truth, as he now stared at his face that now bore the Rinnegan with the same tomoe that were in the Sharingan, almost like Sasuke's Rinnegan, 'But how…? I never had the Rinnegan before, I don't understand.'
'You've never had it before?'
'No, only Sasuke and a couple of other people have had it, but they kinda stole it from another dude…and it's a really long story.'
'I'm quite aware, sorry for that intrusion but I needed to know who had done this too you.'
Naruto couldn't fault him too much for his actions, but he did have a bit of a miff about his mind being entered without permission, 'Thanks, but please don't go in my head again, it feels a little violating.'
'Of course, I apologize for doing so. I don't read someone else's mind unless I have a good reason, it's against my own code.'
Naruto nodded at his head, and began to get up off the desk that he was currently on, 'So, is there any way I can get back home to the village?'
Now came the more difficult part for Xavier, 'I'm afraid that may not be possible…'
'W-why?!'
'Your world, your Earth and my own, are very different. When I entered your mind, and saw your planet from the moon, I saw that none of the landmasses were like my own. And given how different your biology is different from our own, I'm afraid that you came from another world and you are stranded here…I'm truly sorry…I can't even begin to understand what you're going through.' Xavier tried to give him some comfort with the loss he just suffered, but it seems as if though Naruto just wouldn't accept it.
'But there's gotta be a way! I have my friends, my village! I have to get back home!'
'I must advise you to refrain from doing anything that would-be rash. There are dark times ahead for people like us.'
'What do ya mean by that?'
'Come let me show you.' Xavier showed his hand to the door, so naturally he followed him out into the foyer as he explained, 'Mutation has allowed us to evolve and become the dominant species on the planet, normally this process is slow and takes millennia to fully progress, however there are times when evolution leaps forward. In the last recent decade or so, Mutants like myself have been surging in numbers and much of Humanity is fearful of us and our abilities. I had hoped to eventually provide a peaceful coexistence between our species, but unfortunately a war has now broken out between us, and I now fear that if action isn't taken to lessen the tension, innocent blood will be spilt.'
He turned on the TV with several news channels now playing out with the 'Mutant Menace' theme going. He watched as several of videos of reports talk about how the Mutants were all trouble, that they brought nothing but trouble with them, he saw as they were herded into camps, forced to wear suits with the M branded onto them, being beaten and abused, others who couldn't even fight back were lynched and hanged. He couldn't stomach this…
Xavier looked to see Naruto's expression, as it was filled with sadness and rage, he had felt it before, the persecution, the undeserving hatred, the pain of feeling alone like so many Mutants in the world. 'I know that you have lost your world and everything that you knew, but I will do everything that I can to help you find a way back. But if we can't then I'd hope that you can call this world home.'
Naruto kept watching the channels, 'Even if I could, what could I do here? What's here for me?'
'I'm sure that after watching these broadcasts how things are deteriorating between Humans and Mutants, you may already have an idea even if it may not appear to be something you could do.'
He knew what he meant, he was asking him to help these people. The Mutants. He was proud to be the hero of the Leaf Village when he defeated Pain and after the Fourth Great Ninja War, and claiming a similar status here in this world sounded nice to him. But then there was the rest of the peacetime that he helped build back home, with the Shinobi nations and the Land of Iron forming the Shinobi Union to further peace between nations, all his hard work and training to become the Hokage, he felt that tossing it all aside felt so wrong, but with no way home, maybe now way at all, maybe it wouldn't be so bad to try and make something of himself in the meantime…
"When do I start?" That's when Naruto covered his mouth in shock of what he just said, though Xavier calmed him down a bit as speaking in a different language suddenly would bring quite a bit of shock to anyone, "It's alright don't worry. Before you woke up, I was able to implant knowledge of the English language into your mind before I left. I did it so that you could communicate with others much better."
"Oh…thanks for that…though you didn't happen to see my friend in there, did you?" He couldn't talk to Kurama and he hadn't heard the foxes voice at all ever since he woke up for whatever reason, but his chakra was still there, he could feel it for sure. In fact, he felt that the others were there too. Xavier shook his head, "No, I'm afraid I couldn't hear his voice if it was still there."
Naruto frowned a bit, guess only time would tell if Kurama would return, "So what were you planning on doing?"
- Marysville Mutant Relocation Center, California USA –
It was a hot as hell for the prisoners in their heavy cotton jumpsuits, Mutants were being put into single file lines for their new quarters, while others were forced to work in the quarry with no breaks and little food or water. Armed guards in their advanced uniforms that kept them insulated from the heat, with their canteens and loaded weapons pointed at the prisoners, and if any of them even thought about starting a riot…well, the massive Sentinels that loomed over them made them think twice about it. Having something that could kill you in a single bow in the form of a metallic fist or a beam of energy, would do that to anyone, Mutant or not, or at least those that couldn't fight back had to obey the rules or suffer the consequences.
Two of them, Fed Dukes and Angelo Unuscione were friends that had been on the run from the Sentinels for a while before they caught up to them and were forced to surrender. Forced to wear power inhibitor collars to keep them from using their powers, not only that, but it also sapped their strength from them as well, a little shackle to keep them under their oppressor's thumb.
Fred was at his limit, and on the verge of collapsing from heat exhaustion, and Angelo stopped hammering away to make sure he was ok, "Freddy!"
The guards on the other hand didn't give a damn one way or the other, "Get up, Mutie. No slacking!"
"Worn out already? I thought this fat tub of lard was supposed to be indestructible." They smirked at what Fred claimed he could do. Angelo sneered at the guards in defiance, "Take off the inhibitor collars and find out."
They just shook their head, they weren't stupid enough to goad into letting them off the leash to make a point, "Nah, don't think so. How about instead we put him in the Hole, see if a few hours in the sun can melt some'a that whale blubber off?"
"Sounds like an absolute fan-fucking-tastic idea to…me…" The guard suddenly stopped in stupor as when he pressed the button to activate the shock feature on the collar, they shorted out.
"What the…" Then the collars disappeared along with their guns in a sudden burst of the wind, "…hell?!"
That's about the time when Fred and Angelo started to feel their strength come back to them, and they loved it. Fred was grinning in anticipation to get some payback, while Angelo scowled at their captors, "I suddenly feel a lot better."
"All Sentinels Code Red!"
Fred went straight for an uppercut that shattered the guards jaw and sent him ten feet away, Angelo now had his protective field envelop his body as he knocked the other guard out. Just as they were about to go free the others, a Sentinel appeared over them with its hand stretched out to kill them if they didn't comply, "Halt, Mutants. Surrender or d—d—d—d—" For some reason the Sentinel started to spaz out and it's 'heart' per say was suddenly ripped out, it fell down away from the duo as they now saw who it was and who was with him.
"Fellow Mutants. I am Magneto. And you are free."
It was the leader of the Mutant resistance, rebellion, whatever you'd call it. And along with him was the speedster Pietro Maximoff aka Quicksilver, and above him with Magneto was Lorna Dane aka Polaris, liberating this camp of its captives and giving them the chance to fight back against their oppressors.
Quicksilver was currently removing the collars on the prisoners and snatching up the guns from the guards, while Polaris backed up Magneto against the Sentinels. Two of which were flanking them with Polaris holding them back as she diverted their arms to blast their heads off, though Magneto had an idea in mind with Fred, "Young man. Did I hear the guard correctly? You're invulnerable?"
Fred nodded, once he planted his feet wherever, no one could do a thing to him, "Pretty much." That's when Magneto put up a bubble around Fred, "May I place you in a magnetic force bubble?" He was already in it and being lifted into the air, so no point in saying no he figured and went for the ride, "Uh…I guess so."
"Thank you." Magneto threw Fred through multiple sentinels completely busting through their chest cavities and halting their actions against the prisoners, even though Fred was covering his head, he was honestly scared shitless now. Eventually he was let out of the bubble and he joined up with Angelo and the other prisoners taking down what was left of the Sentinels and the guards.
Quicksilver and Polaris leaned up against a car away from the fighting as Magneto came down. Quicksilver looked towards magneto with a question, and hoping to get an answer that would let him leave, "Should I help them?"
"No by doing it themselves, they transform from prisoners into an army." He knew what Quicksilver was wanting to do, so he made sure to ask Polaris how the guards were, "Are the guards all captured Polaris?"
"The lucky ones." She knew that some of these assholes deserved what was coming to them, but she wasn't cold-blooded. She made sure to twist their guns around their arms keeping them from doing anything.
Magneto looked to Quicksilver, "Quicksilver, you may return to your sister."
"Good I don't like leaving her alone." He sped off in a blur and dust. Fred just came out from the end fighting with a look that only a kid at Christmas could be, "Man, that was awesome! Did you see me smash through those hunks'a junk?"
Magneto looked out to see that the last Sentinel fell, "I did indeed." He raised his voice in the way only a true leader could, "My fellow Mutants! Today you have struck a blow not only for your own freedom, but for the liberation of Mutantkind! Your destiny is now in your hands! I invite you to join me! To fight beside your brothers and sisters against the oppressors who put you here!"
Fred jumped up on the car where Magneto stood on top of, "I'm with you. No way I'm ever letting them lock me up again."
"Well said. What's your name?"
"Fred. Fred J. Dukes."
"No. You're no longer bound by Human rules…Human names. You can choose for yourself."
Fred thought about it for a bit, until it hit him. He was called by the guards and a lot of people before by this name, and while he hated it, he figured he could turn it into something else, something to be proud of. He whispered to Magneto as he took his hand and raised it like praising the winner of a competition, "My friends, it is my honor to present to you…the Blob!" Everyone cheered for their vicotyr, for their new leader, and the turning tide against the Human oppressors, unbeknownst to them a lone sniper had his gun trained on Magneto's head. He was about to pull the trigger until he heard a voice right next to him, "Hey, how're you doing buddy? Getting ready to pull that trigger?"
"Huh?!" The soldier pulled his sidearm out to shoot whoever it was, but he found that it was now missing and now in this kid's hands. If it weren't for the freaky looking eyes, and the whisker tattoos, then he'd look like any normal person. "Who the hell are you?"
"Me? Hmm…well I guess I'm just an ordinary teenage ninja." He so cheekily replied, before punching him in the face, but not knocking him out. Naruto picked up the rifle and started to examine it to his curiosity, still aware that the soldier was going for his knife but he didn't bother to dodge the lunge as his new friend stopped him before he could get to his neck, "Good work, though you may not want to antagonize them too much."
"Yeah, but it just wouldn't be as fun if I didn't."
Xavier chuckled a bit, "Well let's go introduce ourselves, shall we?"
Naruto looked to Xavier as he had the soldier in a trance of sorts, like Genjutsu that Kakashi-sensei could do. They took the soldier as he was still in his trance, though he could tell that he was aware of his actions, as he was sweating enough to fill a gallon bucket of paint. Eventually they came to the back of the crowd that surrounded Magneto and Polaris praising the former and looked at Naruto and Xavier with curiosity, Polaris being proactive and somewhat of a cautious person at times pointed out the entranced soldier, "Magneto! Look!"
Xavier stepped in front of the crowd and spoke out loud, "Magneto, I presume. My name is Charles Xavier and my friend here…" He gestured to his right, "…is Naruto Uzumaki. We should talk."
Naruto waved at them, "Yo! What's up guys." He directed his sight towards both Mutants in front of him. To him Magneto had an aura of confidence and strength, and he had a caring streak for the people under his command, he reminded Naruto of military leaders and that of the Kage a bit with the helmet reinforcing his view of the man, but he sensed some trouble in him; looking in to his eyes he could see a hint of savagery in them, but it wasn't something to be worried about.
Polaris on the other hand was calm, polite and sincere from what he could tell about her. And she was rather attractive in his opinion, way more attractive than most the girls and women from the village back home. Her green hair was exotic and stood out from everyone else's own hair, her eyes bore a deeper shade as did her lipstick. Her outfit matched her hair perfectly, a green cape, ornate headpiece that spiked almost like a crown, an overall look that gave her an air of confidence, elegance, beauty; an overall body suit that was green but with arm guards, shoulder pads, leggings all made of metal, no doubt so she could change the pieces to morph into different positions and to be used as weapons or shields of defense. Overall, she was beautiful, and he doubted anyone else could compare to her. He stared at her for what seemed like hours, but was just rather miniscule minutes. (I tried my best to describe her outfit from Uncanny X-Men #430 and 431 when Xavier tried to get to the bottom of her new happy-go-lucky/kill-happy state of mind, as I liked that outfit of hers the best from all the iterations of her classic outfit. After reading how she got that way, I honesty felt sorry for, she simply wanted to forget what she saw.)
She seemed to notice this and decided to try and break the awkwardness per say, "You know, if you keep staring, people are gonna talk about this." She smiled a bit at him, he was cute she had to say and those tattoos of his made him seem all more like a cat in away.
"Oh, uh." Naruto rubbed his head, "Hehehe…" He chuckled nervously about what he had been doing, staring at a woman like that would send a false message to just about anyone, "…sorry about that. I mean…uhhh, y-your hair just stood out from everyone else's and I thought it looks really pretty."
Now Lorna had been on the receiving end of many compliments, mostly of her looks and her body back when she was in school, but this was the first time she had ever received a compliment of her hair since she always was embarrassed and afraid to show it off in public. It actually caught her off guard for once, "Oh, thank you…most guys don't really say anything about."
Naruto just raised an eyebrow at that, "Really? I figured lots of guys would say something about your hair…it is naturally green, right?"
She smirked a bit, oh, she'd get him on something, "Well duh, of course it's natural…see." Lorna part some of her hair to show it growing from her head as any other natural hair color. Naruto looked closely to see that it was like she said, natural hair, "Natural green hair, for a moment I thought you dyed it."
Decided to change things up, "So were you just feeling creative with those cat tattoos?" She saw his eye twitch a bit at the question, "Actually they're birth marks, and I prefer fox, thank you very much." He squinted his eyes annoyance. He did look a bit like a fox in her eyes which made him all the cuter in her opinion and it made her chuckle a bit, though she did try to hide her amusement by covering her mouth…which she did poorly.
