We then got a tip from a few friends of your daughter and one friend admitted that your daughter had shown up half naked to her dorm, got drunk and slept it off. The friend she hadn't seen Bella since. But then we got another tip from an old bookstore owner. She had let Bella stay at her cabin for a few weeks but one day when she checked, the cabin was empty and had been trashed. Charlie took a breath. He took off the mask of a concerned father and put on the mask of chief police of forks. "Before I answer any of those questions. I have a couple of questions for you. When you went to the Cullen home. Did you tell them about the supposed rape?"

"yes sir we did."

Charlie nodded.

"ok, the next question I have is .Did your people catch more than one suspect or only one."

"only one sir."

Charlie nodded and then spoke, his voice ice cold.

"My Twenty-one-year-old daughter came knocking in my door. Two months ago. Black, blue, and bleeding. She couldn't talk but when she could, she would scream bloody murder. I had to have her sedated.
