A/N: Thank you for reading and reviewing. And thank you so much to everyone who voted for this story for the Profilers Choice Awards. I was so surprised that it was the runner up in the het romance category. Knowing people enjoy the story always gives me such a boost and it definitely brightened up my week. I hope you enjoy the chapter. My plan is for a couple more to finish off the story and then we'll have reached the end!

"Momma and my sister are here!" Henry shouted excitedly, as he jumped down from where he'd been perching at the window. Will was impressed by how long his son had sat still, patiently watching out onto the street for the first sign of the other half of his family coming home.
"It's my sister!" he repeated to his grandmother, as she came into the room to see what all the noise was about.
"Have you got her teddy bear?" Sandy asked, smiling as the boy immediately dashed across the room to collect the stuffed animal. He'd been referring to Georgia as his sister rather than by her name from the moment she was born. He liked the sound of the phrase he'd never had an opportunity to use and was more than ready to take on his role as a big brother.
Moments later, JJ's keys turned in the door and Henry waited beside Sandy with the bear clutched tightly in his hands. He looked between his father and grandmother with a grin, as the door opened and JJ and Hotch's voices drifted into the hall. Having been warned that he had to be quiet and gentle around the baby, he waited for JJ to come into the room before he greeted her.
"Is she sleeping?" he asked in an exaggerated whisper, as JJ sat the carrier on the floor.
"She's just up," she replied, watching Henry's already excited eyes light up further. "Do you want to say hi?"
With a nudge of encouragement from his grandmother, he shuffled across to the carrier and knelt beside the baby. Taking greater care than any of the adults had ever seen him use before, he placed the soft, stuffed bear beside his sister.
"Hi, Georgia," he said quietly. "I'm Henry. I'm your brother."
JJ felt a lump form in her throat, as her still erratic emotions got the better of her. For a moment she blamed the crazy post-partum hormones, wishing she could gain control until she had a little more privacy. But as she glanced around the room, she quickly realised hers were not the only glistening eyes. Her mother sniffed and wiped her eyes on her sleeve, while Will blinked vigorously as he grinned at the first interaction between his children.
"I should go," Hotch told her, placing his hand on her on the arm as he turned to leave the family alone to get settled. He was suddenly desperate to get home to his own son. The reports that were due on their latest case could remain unwritten until Monday. Jack's science project and then an evening of cartoons seemed like a better alternative. It seemed that the love which surrounded the newborn and her family was catching.
"Thank you," she replied, throwing him another grateful smile before her attention returned to Henry and Georgia.
Hotch slipped outside without exchanging another word with his friend. He had a feeling the family would be too caught up in each other to be aware of much for the next few days. And, as he'd said at the hospital, he couldn't be happier for them.

Will rocked Georgia gently back and forth as she lay nestled in his arms, and he found himself transfixed by every movement of her tiny features. He almost felt normal, sitting on the sofa, soothing his daughter to sleep after her feed. The cast on his leg could be just about forgotten if he wasn't trying to walk, and for most of the time at least, the weakness in his limbs and body seemed to be kept at bay.
JJ was still in the room, of course. It would be a while before he was allowed to be alone with the baby, and it would be a while before he could be of any real use in caring for her. A few months ago it would have destroyed him to think of himself as being unable to support his family or help JJ in the days after she gave birth, but now he cared more about the fact he had the chance to hold his child at all.
"What are you thinking about?" JJ asked, taking a seat beside Will and wrapping her arm around his back. She pressed herself close to him, smiling at Georgia as she leaned against his shoulder.
"Nothin'," he replied, lightly pressing a finger into the little girl's palm.
"Nothing?" she questioned with a tone of disbelief.
"Just how lucky I am to be here with her. And with you and Henry," he admitted. "If I'd been closer to the centre of the explosion or..."
"Don't," she cut him off, leaning closer to the baby and pressing a kiss to her forehead. This wasn't a conversation she wanted to have. She'd already spent too many nights with her mind drifting to thoughts of a world where their newborn would have no father. "You are here; that's what matters."
He nodded, kissing JJ's head in the same way she had done to Georgia. While he knew he'd have to let go of the thoughts one day, it would be a long time before he took the life he had for granted.
The sound of voices outside alerted the parents to the fact that their other child, and his grandmother, had returned from their long walk. Henry was practically bouncing off the walls with excitement at his mother and sister's homecoming, and someone had wisely suggested that a trip to the park would be a good idea. Toby had been brought along for good measure, and watching the boy and his dog race around, Sandy couldn't help but laugh at the utter chaos which lay ahead for her daughter and son-in-law. Especially if Georgia turned out anything like the rest of her family.
"Did you have a good time?" JJ asked, as Henry rushed into the room, his cheeks rosy from the cold air.
He nodded, making to join his parents and sister on the sofa.
"Henry LaMontagne, don't take another step!" Sandy called from the hallway, where she was struggling to drag a soaking wet dog through to the kitchen before he shook all over the house.
As the boy turned around towards his grandmother, JJ discovered the reason behind the sudden outburst and laughed. From the top of his once red sweatshirt to the hems of his soggy jeans, and even through his blonde hair, Henry was caked in mud.
"Don't even ask," Sandy said shaking her head but grinning, as her daughter threw her a puzzled look.
As she herded Henry and Toby through to the kitchen, JJ and Will shared a laugh.
"Are you gonna be like your brother?" Will asked Georgia. "Are you gonna run rings around your Grandma?"
Georgia stared back, oblivious to all that was being said and only aware of the faces that she'd one day recognise as her parents. JJ listened happily as Will continued his one sided conversation, telling their daughter about all the messes her brother had made and all the fun they'd have together.
It was only a little later that Will came to the realisation that he was talking to himself. His once captive audience now breathed softly and steadily as they slept, JJ curled against his side, and Georgia in his arms. His two girls; safe and warm, and right where he wished they could always be.

Later in the day, Henry watched intently as JJ gently slipped Georgia's arms and legs into a new sleep suit. Despite being home less than twelve hours, JJ had already been reminded of how many outfit changes a newborn could require in a day. The chest of tiny, freshly laundered clothes which had been waiting in her room suddenly seemed less excessive than it first appeared.
"Do you want to help?" she asked, noticing Henry's staring.
After his much needed bath, he'd spent most of the afternoon watching the new arrival with a combination of wonder and uncertainty. He'd never been around a person so small and wasn't quite sure what to make of her.
"What can I do?" he asked.
"Come over here," JJ instructed with an encouraging smile. As Henry knelt beside her at the foot of Georgia's changing mat, she demonstrated how to close the popper fastenings on the owl patterned onsesie. "Do you think you can do that?"
With an expression of intense concentration, he pressed together the remainder of the fastenings and then turned to his mother with a look of accomplishment.
"Good job," she grinned. "Do you think Georgia likes it?"
He nodded. The suit was one which he had helped Penelope to choose on a shopping trip a few weeks earlier.
"I picked it because I liked the owls," he told his mother, proudly. "I think she likes the owls too."
JJ smoothed a hand through Henry's hair and smiled as Georgia wriggled around on the mat, as though she was testing out the comfort of the new garment.
"You made a good choice," she replied, causing his grin to widen.
He looked thoughtful as JJ slid an arm under Georgia's body and gently lifted the infant, cradling her head in the palm of her hand.
"Can I hold her?" he asked, the hint of uncertainty returning to his voice.
JJ paused, adjusting Georgia's position and studying her son's hopeful expression as she nodded.
"Sit down with your legs crossed," she directed, working out the easiest and safest way for him to hold his little sister. "You have to be really careful to hold her head. Just like this," she demonstrated.
Henry moved his arms to mimic the position of his mother's. Then, slowly, and while sitting right beside him, JJ placed Georgia onto his lap, making sure that her head and neck were supported against his carefully positioned arms. Her hands hovered nearby, but he was cradling her by himself.
"She's so small," he mumbled quietly.
"You were that size once," JJ responded, wrapping her arms around Henry so that both her children were within the reach of her embrace.
"Did I have no hair too?"
"Georgia has hair," she laughed. "See?" She gently manoeuvred one of his hands to touch the back of the baby's downy head.
He nodded, careful so as not to move too much and jostle the baby.
"Can we read her a story?" he asked.
"Of course we can," JJ smiled. "What story do you think she'd like?"
"Baby Star," Henry responded, without needing even a second to think.
JJ felt a warm glow spread through her body at the gesture. Sure, there would probably be plenty of moments of sibling rivalry ahead, but for now it seemed Henry wanted to share everything with his sister. She had a lot to be proud of in this boy.
When it came to telling the familiar story no book was required. Knowing the words by heart, she began to recite the first lines, hearing Henry join in at his favourite parts with a soft and quiet voice. All the time, her arms maintained their protective circle around the children, with one hand resting against Henry's arm and Georgia's head. These were definitely the moments she would never forget.
Outside the bedroom, Sandy hovered by the door, smiling to herself. She had been planning to check if JJ needed anything. But it could wait until later.
