"Jace, no!" Clary didn't go after her new fiance. She stood there and watched as the ducks chased him around Central Park. They were headed to the Institute, but decided to go star gazing at Central Park. Unfortunately, a group of ducks wanted food from Clary and Jace got overprotective, especially because they were ducks. "You know what? Never mind," she muttered. She was having more fun watching Jace get chased.

Jace cursed loudly as he ran passed Clary. Clary giggled and decided to walk along the water's edge. A rune flashed in her mind. She got out her stele and drew the rune on the water. The water rippled like gelatin. With a smug look on her face, Clary scooped up some water and threw it at Jace. It hit the back of Jace's head causing him to turn and look at her. Interested on the change of action, the ducks watched the couple intently. Jace's eyes narrowed and he stalked toward Clary like she was his prey. Clary winked, quickly drawing a portal in thin air. Jace lunged at her just as she stepped through the portal. Unfortunately for Jace, the portal closed just as he closed in on it.

Clary giggled and walked up the steps of the Institute. Jace would now have to walk home by himself, Clary totally forgetting that she shouldn't be away from him for so long. Clary found Isabelle in the kitchen with Max making sandwiches. Isabelle inclined her head to the left to see who was coming in. Max looked too as Clary held up her hand to show off the ring Jace had given her. A smile lit up his face as he realized that Clary would now be his sister. Isabelle squealed and tackled Clary.

"Where's Jace? I want to congratulate him on finally asking you. . . Not that he could have before," she added.

"Well, uh, we went to Central Park and I kind of left him there."

Isabelle gaped at Clary. "Why would you do that? Don't you want to marry him?" she teased.

"Of course I do! I just. . . I don't know. It's funny. Or at least it was to me."

Rolling her eyes, Isabelle nodded. "Yeah, yeah. You're right. It is funny."

An idea popped into Clary's head. "We should go to Forbidden Planet tonight. It's open until midnight and I've been meaning to take Max."

Isabelle shrugged. "Sure, why not."

Max jumped out of his seat, cheering. "I'll go grab my jacket."

Clary giggled. Feeling a bit light headed, she grabbed onto the counter for support. Isabelle shot her a worried glace, but Clary waved it off. After Max grabbed his coat, they headed out and walked the couple blocks to Forbidden Planet. By then, Clary's head was pounding steadily. She closed her eyes for a moment before pushing herself forward. When they walked in, Max ran over to the store's Naruto section while Isabelle and Clary watched in amusement. Pulling a book off the shelf, Max ran over to them. Black spots danced in her vision but she blinked them away. Max grabbed for her hand but dropped it instantly.

He looked at her questioningly. "Clary, you burnt me."

Her eyes widened and she looked down at her hands. She cursed. "I totally forgot. Jesus Christ, Raziel!"

"I don't think that's how you're supposed to say it," Isabelle piped.

Heat built up inside Clary. She pulled out her phone and shakily messaged Jace. Before the message was sent, Clary's knees buckled, but strong arms wrapped themselves around her waist. The heat disappeared immediately. Clary let out a sigh of relief. Jace squeezed her waist. "You shouldn't have done that, babe."

"I'm sorry," she gushed. "I forgot what Raziel said."

He chuckled. "How could you have forgotten that?"

Clary elbowed her earning a grunt. "I don't know, but you're here now and that's what counts."

Isabelle was extremely confused. "What is going on? What did Raziel do? How did you even talk to him? What have I missed?"

"A lot," Jace replied.

"Oh," Isabelle brightened, forgetting about Raziel for the moment. "Congrats on the proposal. This is going to be so much fun! Not only are Clary and I parabati, but we'll be sisters! I'm so excited."

Clary giggled and wrapped her arms over her fiance's. Max forgot about Forbidden Planet and beamed at Jace and Clary. The book dropped to the floor and the boy stared up at his idol and his idol's soon-to-be bride. "When are you guys getting married? Will you guys have a baby?"

Jace nodded. "How many children should we have, Clare? Five? Seven? Fifteen? And when should we get married? Shadowhunters marry young, you know."

Isabelle squealed. "You two are going to have to most adorable babies ever!" Then she droned on and on about how she was going to be the best aunt ever. "Magnus and I are going to plan your entire wedding okay?"

Clary rolled her eyes and they started walking back home. Jace kept on arm wrapped around Clary and Clary walked next to Max on his left, Isabelle walking on his right. They walked in a peaceful silence, basking in it happily. Occasionally, Jace would place a chaste kiss on the top of Clary's head as they walked. When they got back to the Institute, Max ran to find Alec to tell him the good news. Alec was most likely at the Institute considering Magnus was probably still with Jocelyn and Luke. Isabelle headed to her room and Jace stood in the foyer with Clary, a devilish smile on his face.

"Why don't we test our baby making skills?" he whispered in her ear causing her face to burn.
