Chapter 21: Revelations … a Predicable and Stupid Revelation Actually and …. WHAT'S THIS?!

World: Land Before Hyrule

24 hours have passed since Skyloft's hero competed in a fighting tournament along with another hero and an unknown girl. Then a purple dragon-like creature appeared out of thin air and caused destruction on their floating island. Despite how crazy those events were, all anyone could think about was Zelda.

It was about 10 p.m. and everyone went home from doing construction that day. The majority of the town's population were either hanging around the Bazaar or keeping an eye out for any threats. There were a few civilians who were located in front of the Sparring Hall; very concerned for the well-being of a friend.

The Knights Academy's Headmaster, Gaepora, walked toward the Sparring Hall where Karane, Pipit, Cawlin, and Strich were standing at the door, listening carefully.

"How is my daughter?" he asked the four.

"She's still hurt, and furious." Karane spoke.

Gaepora slowly walked in to see Zelda taking out her anger towards multiple logs. With a sword in her hand, she swept through each one perfectly. "That girl was with him for a few weeks. I was with him for our entire life!" She cut through the last one and tossed the sword away. "Next."

Eagus, the man in charge of running the Sparring Hall, gave Zelda a sharp blade and set up more logs. He looked over at Gaepora and pointed to Zelda. "Talk to her, I'm running out of logs." He whispered to Zelda's father.

Gaepora looked over at his daughter slicing more logs. "Zelda…." Zelda continued to cut through the logs. "Zelda, look at me…" Zelda slowly lowered her arms. She faced her father. He could tell she was crying before. "Zelda … you need to speak with Link."

Zelda dropped the sword and walked toward a wall. She leaned on it and sat down. "Father …. I wanted to tell him since the Wing Ceremony …how I really feel." She looked up to her father who sat beside her. "After he slain the Demon King, I just decide to hold in my true feelings. Why didn't I tell him sooner?"

Gaepora gently touched Zelda's face. "My daughter, I once had the same experience with your mother."

Zelda's eyes widen. "You did?"

Gaepora took a deep breath. "When we were your age, I too was holding in my true feelings for your mother. One day, someone was charming her." Zelda listen carefully as Gaepora continued. "Seeing this made me use what courage I have and confessed to your mother. We were together ever since and a few years later we were wed and had you."

Zelda looked down, thinking. "Father, what if Link won't accept me? What if he just sees me as his childhood friend?"

Gaepora could see a resistance to Zelda's courage. "My daughter. How would you feel if you kept those emotions imprisoned for the rest of your life?"

Zelda just sat there, absorbing in everything her father had said. "I … I tried calling Link …. But that machine won't let me…. What if I …. Might be too late when they … he get back?"

Gaepora soon came to a solution. "Why not just go there yourself?"

Zelda looked at her father. "What do you …. The crystal." Zelda slowly stood up, still conflicted by her choices.

Gaepora stood up and placed his hand on her shoulder. "Zelda. I want you to think about Link and his courage. The same courage that he used to face against the Demon King himself."

With those words, Zelda thought of nothing else but Link. Her heart beating, she looked up to her father and said, "I'll tell him. No matter what happens, I'll tell him!"

Gaepora smiled. "You've truly grown up, Zelda." The two walked out as the eavesdroppers dashed away. They look up at the night sky.

"It's getting late." Zelda said out loud. "Tomorrow I will go to that World of Trophies and confront Link." The two walked to the Knights Academy and went into Gaepora's office. Gaepora then took down a portrait to reveal a hidden door. Behind that door, was their Cross-Over Crystal.

"I've kept this hidden for the safety of anyone who might abuse its powers accidentally. It will still need to absorb the sun's rays before working." He handed the crystal to Zelda. "You may hold onto it, put keep it with you at all times."

Zelda nodded. "I will. Besides, even if Ghirahim tries something, Master Hand is there to prevent it. Nothing will happen."

Mach Rider sitting on a chair in a dark room with the only noticeable furniture was a table standing in front of him. "I-I don't know how this had happened. It must have infiltrated the building when I left, and I did turn that radar on!"

Mac Rider was speaking to the Shadow Figure, who was not very pleased with the Mach Rider. "You said you can handle the job. Our plans could have been destroyed! What if it happens again! You know well enough of our desired end result."

Mach Rider sighed. "Look, you filled me in on 'everything' but what if it makes a huge wrong turn. What then?" The Shadow Figure turned away. "Hey, don't turn you back on me when I and your minions failed to capture that! You're placing a huge gamble on lives! More than that! Can't you at least have more control over this!? Did you even see the face on Link?"

"Enough!" the Shadow Figure shouted. "You are of little use to me. You've proven that you are a failure. We will send you back home immediately!"

Mach Rider stood up and slammed the table. "You can't do that! You need me; you need as much help as you can get to accomplish your goal!"

The Shadow Figure stood their quietly before speaking again. "No matter how it ends, …. As long as the ritual is fulfilled, we will have about the same results."

"….So you're telling me if the one you don't want win does actually beat that guy, you will just go on with it? That's it!" Mach Rider held his laser at the Shadow Figure. "This is getting out of hand! I don't see any way that you can possibly do this without … you … does he even know about this?"

The Shadow Figure turned directly at Mach Rider. "It appears you have sealed your fate. With that, you may no longer be allowed to leave."

Then behind Mach Rider, two large figures appeared with a single round glow on them. Mach Rider turned around to see the figures ganging up on him. "No, you won't do this! I will not!"

Mach Rider disappeared within the shadows. When the two beings returned, more joined in. "Now, let's begin our meeting." said the Shadow Figure in a sinister tone.

It was the middle of the night in the Smash Bros. Headquarters. Dinner had already passed and everyone enjoyed their meal. That is except for one. At the entrance, Shantae was leaning on the wall, eating a sandwich. She sighed to herself as she glanced at the time. "Dinner is practically over. Where is he?"

Shantae wanted to speak to Link all day. She waited for him to leave his room by his own terms to at least talk to him some more. She just wanted to say that she was being led on by Bison and that he does have something evil going on with him. Just to help Link feel better about himself.

"Well Shantae, you've screwed this up terribly." She noticed Shulk and Fiora walking out. "Shulk, do you know if Link asked you to bring him any food?"

Shulk shook his head no. "I haven't seen him all day. I did check his room before hand, he said he will eat later. But we have a meeting with Fox and Sonic, and I think you should come too."

"Me? What for?"

Fiora filled in. "They told us that they might have uncovered clues to what was going on. The attacks, and possibly with the Smash Bros. Headquarters themselves."

Shantae decided to come along and the three walked down to the rooms where Sonic held another meeting. They knew that Link will probably not be attending, but they are still aware that an evil force is at large. Walking into the room and sitting next to Peter, who now wears a shirt saying 'Liante/Shink/etc.' which made Shantae pinched between her eyes.

Sonic closed the door and turned to his group; which includes Shulk, Fiora, Shantae, Peter, Fox, Olimar with his Pikmin, Jigglypuff, Pac-Man, Ralph, Ghostslayer, Maya, Green Knight, Vanellope, Groose (who sometimes glare at Shantae), Riki, Tharja, and Ashely.

"Should these rooms be bigger for celebrities?" asked Peter.

"Sorry Peter, they just assume we won't be walking around this big place." said Sonic. "So anyways, tomorrow the big day. Link and M. Bison are going to fight for the title champion. Usually after that we just do more battle and challenges for who know how long like we live here, but this doesn't seem like the case this time. Something tells me that we'll have another 'accident'. An accident that will make Rayquaza, The Dark Lord, and Ridley all small by comparison."

"S-Should we bring that old argument up?" Peter asked himself.

Fox stood alongside Sonic. "I was speaking with Sonic and I've come to the conclusion that the three monsters were all connected in some way."

"You mean they were all once Siamese triplets like Ghidorah?" Peter stupidly asked.

Sonic placed his hand on his head and shook. "How many times to we have to reference our last adventure?" Sonic spoke up. "It turns out that all three monsters gave off a red aura when they became stronger.

(Flashback)

Rayquaza gave off a red aura as he swirled around the Alloys, Wired Frames, and Polygons and sent them out of the stadium.

The Dark Lord engulfed the Metroids and took control over them.

Ridley destroyed the auditorium's stage and blew the fighters away with this wings.

(End Flashbacks)

Fox spoke again. "When I was fighting Rayquaza, I could have sworn his eyes were glowing red. I suspect the same happened with the Dark Lord and Ridley. They were all purposely attacking us."

"So do you believe the Shadow Figure is responsible?" asked Shulk.

Sonic waved his finger. "Now hold on there. We only heard about this Shadow Figure from The Dark Lord himself, who attacked this place even before he started having that aura."

Fox spoke again. "There is also something very important that Sonic and I have realized. This could be a very important clue." Fox paused before revealing his thoughts. "Remember when the Dark Lord entered the auditorium; it was filled with psychic Pokemon?"

Sonic filled in. "Or that before this crazy stuff happened, some psychic Pokemon were walking around the plot?"

"And that as of right now, some psychic Pokemon are roaming around the establishment ever since the Dark Lord attacked?"

Everyone looked at one another. "You're right." said the Ghostslayer. "There was a lot of those types. Where are you going with this?"

Sonic nodded his head. "Well all the Pokemon on the Dark Lord's raid were in the auditorium, well remember what Ridley was doing the day he attacked?"

(Flashback)

Ridley destroyed the stage and kept on attacking that spot.

(End Flashback)

"He was targeting the exact spot the stage stood."

Everyone gasped. "So Ridley was after something, underneath the stage?" asked Maya. "But what could be there?"

Sonic and Fox looked at each other. "We don't know yet." said Sonic.

"But we do know that each and every fight started there, when a portal opens up to bring fighters to stages. Tomorrow Bison and Link will travel to a stage, without any repair to the auditorium."

Sonic spoke again. "That is why there no doubts that Pyso and probably everyone else working here knows what's happening."

"Pyso, the very shady guy who hides his upper part of his face with a cloak and has a long mustache and beard? I don't believe it." said Peter.

Sonic sighed and thought of something. "The very least person you'll expect?"

Peter finally gets it. "Clever, so clever."

Groose stood up. "So what do you want to do? Just barge in and demand answers?"

Fox answered Groose. "That wouldn't be wise. What we can do is prepare for whatever happens. It is all best that a majority of us go to the match while a few will storm around Smash Bros. off limits section and uncover any secrets about all this so we can-"

Suddenly a flasher went off on Fox's 'Scouter'. "The sensors I've placed in the hallway picked up someone. Quick, take these out!"

Outside, someone walked to the door and knocked three times. "Come in." said Sonic. The door opened and walked in the Demon Lord Ghirahim. "So this is where you are all hiding." Ghirahim smiled as he saw everyone in the cramp room playing 'Spin the Bravo' wait what?"

Everyone jumped up when they saw Johnny Bravo laying on the floor. He moved his hands around in poses and looked at Peter. "Peter, you forgot to get me back home to my mama."

Peter Griffin just bushed Johnny under the bed. "Ignore that."

Ghirahim smiled creepily as he slowly closes the door. "Interesting. Now why would you all be in this small room and not out there with more space …. And people?"

Everyone in the room could feel that Ghirahim has a reason to find them. "We just wanted some privacy." Sonic said, keeping calm.

"Oh really. If you were to ask me, I say that you were having a little private conversation on something important." Ghirahim then took out something. "Something that requires this." He dropped the object on the floor and Fox recognized it immediately."

"My sensor!"

Suddenly, Ghirahim grabbed hold onto Fox's mouth. Everyone was about to attack, before Ghirahim held a sword to Fox. "No no no! You must-" But Ghirahim didn't remember Sonic's speed and had his sword taken by the blue blur. Before they could attack, Ghirahim called out. "Listen, that machine was not the only spy I've destroyed!"

This stopped everyone and they all watched Ghirahim slowly release Fox.

"What are you talking about?" asked the defensive Fox.

Ghirahim held out a hand. "You were lucky that I've overheard your conversation with Sonic to meet in this exact room." Ghirahim walked over to a portrait of a cat and removed if from the wall. Everyone gasped when they saw a flat, broken machine of some kind hiding behind the picture.

"What is that?" asked Shantae.

Fox got a better look. "I can still tell from the damage, this is a recorder."

Sonic eyes lit up. "A recorder? You mean that someone could have listened in on all that?" Sonic sat down and thought about his other meeting. "Then …. Someone knows about Shulk's letter from a friend. And that we were suspicious about all this." He looked up at Ghirahim. "How do you know all this?"

Ghirahim looked at Shantae. "It's all started when I saw Mother Brain speaking to the Spirit Maiden on that machine before the last match."

Groose spoke up. "Spirit Maiden, you mean Zelda, right?"

Shantae eyes lit up. "What did Mother Brain say?"

Ghirahim pointed at Shantae. "About Link's time with you and something called chocolate."

"Y-You mean that Mother Brain got Zelda into believing that I was with Link?"

"Not exactly. It appears that Mother Brain was taking an opportunity of when you interfered when you were standing in front of that glutton of a King."

Shantae recalled that moment. She slumped down and could easily tell what had happened. "The man in the cage was the one that wiped his and Zelda's memories. I don't need to hear more of that."

"Hold it, there is far more to this. After the call, Bison came to Mother Brain and said that he had no interest into disrupting Link. But when he left, Mother Brain let out something interesting."

(Flashback)

Mother Brain just stood there, silently. "Not necessary anymore? …. Bison, you have no idea what's coming."

When Mother Brain walked away, Ghirahim was hiding behind a statue and heard every word.

(End Flashback)

"So wait, Mother Brain wants to continue M. Bison's evil side story? What for?" asked Peter.

Ghirahim looked at them all sternly. "Mother Brain did more than that. I was watching the moment after this girl broke the boy and the Spirit Maiden's bond. Mother Brain attacked Shantae, making Link the winner."

Shantae gasped. "So what does that mean?"

"I've spoken with Bison directly about this himself. He has nothing to do with Mother Brain's actions from then on. That is when I decide to investigate this place myself." Ghirahim turned away. "Late last night, I have discovered the identity of the Shadow Figure."

Everyone gave Ghirahim their full attention. "Are you serious? Then who is he?" asked Sonic.

Fox then realized something. "Hold it, you said you've investigated this place?"

Ghirahim turned to them. "Yes. The Shadow Figure, and his followers, are all currently located here!"

"Alright, Ghirahim. Who's the bad guy?" asked Peter, ready to kick ass.

Ghirahim took a deep breath. "If you were to see his form before revealing himself, you would have guessed the same thing?"

"Is it as predictable as the mask man in 'Big Hero 6'?" asked Peter. "Because everyone said the identity was too predictable, but-"

"Silence, Peter! Listen to what I'm about to tell you. This will explain not only his identity, but the true nature of this tournament!"

(Flashback)

In the dark room, after Mach Rider was taken way, the figures minus the Shadow Figure revealed themselves to be Mother Brain, GLaDOS, and Andross.

GLaDOS walked closer to the Shadow Figure. "I cannot believe that the Shadow Figure is you. Well I would have if I've seen your silhouette."

The Shadow Figure, standing straight up with a shape of a cloak person with a pair of curved lines on the side of his head, stepped out of the shadows. "I know; that is why I've only revealed myself to you three, and Mach Rider over there."

"But seriously. You could have at least hide behind a chair with only a computer and an obsessed cat,

.

.

.

.

Pyso."

(Cut Flashback)

"WHAT!?" shouted everyone in shock.

"ARE YOU ****ING ME!?" Peter shouted furiously. "Are you serious?! We made a joke about the bad guy being him two times! We cannot just do that! Make it Ronald Regan."

"Let me finish!" demanded Ghirahim.

(Back to Flashback)

Pyso, grinning at the robot, spoke. "I don't have that time to come up with a more mysterious disguise. In fact; we don't have that much time at all … what as with that long pause?"

"Dramatic effect."

Andross floated closer. "Yes, we must have our victor in two days. Or else our new weapon will be lost to us. We will not be able to again perform such a task in time."

Mother Brain spoke. "That is why we will have all Polygons, Wired Frames, Alloys, Mii Fighters, and Pokemon to defend ourselves from that insignificant God and his allies."

Pyso stroke his beard. "Yes, his allies even managed to drag us down from our schedule. Just barely with his attacks ….. which managed to failed or backfired horribly." Pyso paced around. "However, his minions pass our defenses and given that Shulk a warning about M. Bison."

The three villains did not like hearing this. "This God discovered our true plans? But I wonder why he will just warn about Bison?"

Mother Brain looked at GLaDOS. "Our newest comrade has a point. No matter who wins, our prize will be the same."

Pyso hesitated before speaking with a frown. "True, but you do remember exactly how I want this to go?"

The three villains nodded.

"There is no telling how much that God's spies have discovered. But they do not seem to know our true motive. If that was the case, well we know what would happen."

The three remained quiet about this.

"The God's allies have eluded the Mach Rider and our Psychic Pokemon, and all somehow made contact with Rayquaza, The Dark Lord, and Ridley." Pyso turned to Mother Brain. "Rayquaza is just an animal and the Dark Lord appears to know nothing of the God. Can Ridley recall anything?"

"I am sorry, but Commander Ridley said that he was barely conscious before his metamorphous. All he recalled was flying to Skyloft and attacking some people. The spy must have gotten to Adolescent Ridley when he was contained."

"We need better employees." Pyso whispered to himself. "Very well, I will see to it that the Headquarters are perfectly guarded this time. I'll make sure those riffraff don't go outside, especially Link and Bison. I want those two at the auditorium first thing after noon. After they have a safe fight in the Final Destination, we will have our weapon, and the God shall fall! Just like our poor, poor Crazy Hand. Well, far worse than his fate."

GLaDOS and Andross laughed. Mother Brain, however, was thinking of something.

"Are you troubled, Mother Brain?" asked Pyso as GLaDOS and Andross stopped.

"Just to make sure, the floating island of the R.O.B.s is inaccessible. Correct?"

Pyso grinned. 'Correct. All teleporters and airships have been locked up under tight security. Even if someone managed to break in and hack into the machine, there is no getting out alive. Especially the teleporters.

"Good, Good." said Mother Brain. "But what about the fighters. Did any of our recorders catch anything?"

Pyso nodded his head. "We've learned that Sonic and his close friends have grown suspicious thank to our recorders. I've also shredded any trace of Shulk's letter, we have no worries. Any other concerns?"

Mother Brain only had one question. "I haven't asked this, but what will become of those fighters after we've retrieved our weapon?"

Pyso smiled. "They will have no choice but to follow us. It's the only simple way."

Andross floated closer to the light. "Fox McCloud, following our orders. It shall be an honorable day for Venom!"

"Now don't get carried away like that, Andross." Pyso held his arms up. "So it is settled. Everyone stays within the building and our guards swarm around outside for any more 'accidents' as Link and M. Bison compete for our prize!"

One by one, the villains exit the room through open doors bringing in light. Pyso was the only one left, speaking to himself. "Soon you shall receive what's coming to you, my God." Pyso disappeared into the darkness, but hiding deeper within the shadows, stood Demon Lord Ghirahim, keeping out of the site of the enemies, especially the robots that could have sensed even in the pitches of darkness.

"So my hunches are right." The Demon Lord smiled and disappeared.

Ghirahim took a deep breath. "All of what I've seen and heard is true. Pyso is using this tournament as some sort of ritual where he will obtain a weapon that has the powers to slay a God, even the destructive God, Crazy Hand."

Everyone was taken back by this. All this time, Sonic feeling about Pyso was correct all along. He was plotting something the entire time. What more is that it turns out that the three bosses they've fought was actually in some way connected into stopping Pyso. "I knew I didn't like that guy, and now Link's in danger because of him!" Sonic turned to his friends. "We won't let him get away with this. I say we go over to him and show him what we're made of!"

Fox calmed Sonic down. "Hold it, that wouldn't be a wise decision to just act now."

"I agree." Ghirahim spoke. "Pyso has control of those Pokemon and Metroids. Not to mention other Assist Trophies that may be allied to him. Well at least we know Mach Rider is not, anymore."

Sonic had a quick thought about Mach Rider. "And he has a hostage. You're right, we have to do something."

Shulk had an idea. "The floating island, that's probably where Master Hand is right now. I have a horrible feeling that Pyso must have done something to him, along with Crazy Hand. We have to find a way to that island and help Master Hand."

"Crazy Hand?" asked Peter. Sonic filled him in quickly that Crazy Hand is Master Hand's brother and a God of Destruction who's usually tamed despite his title."

"Hold it, Pyso probably killed off Crazy Hand, so why does he need a weapon he doesn't have?" asked Peter.

"You have a good point." said Shantae. "Why do all this to get a weapon if he's just going to get rid of a God that he'd done before?"

"Maybe he already once used such a weapon." everyone looked at Tharja. "In my world, almost all weapons have a limit. Once that is all used up, the weapon breaks. It may be possible that Pyso had the same type of weapon before, but warned out its use."

Tharja's words haunted their minds. Pyso must have performed such a ritual plenty of times and waited for the right moment. "So now we have to stop him from getting another one?" asked Ghostslayer.

"Well how are we going to do that?" asked Vanellope who looked at Shulk. "May I remind you that Pyso has our ticket to the island under lock, key, and an army of monsters?" Vanellope words made Shulk realized that it could possibly be impossible. "Unless …." Vanellope smiled. "Rayquaza!"

"The dragon from before?" asked Shulk.

"Yeah, he's healthy again and was schedule to leave tomorrow. This could be our ticket to the island. Also he once let me ride him."

"Don't go ahead of yourself." warned Ralph. "First thing, you're not getting in any danger. Second, he can't hold us all."

"Well …. It's not like we all have to go there. Or Should." Everyone looked back at Tharja. "If Pyso or any of his soldiers noticed a large amount of us missing, things will turn for the worst. Also, we have two allies. Mach Rider, and Dark Lord that need to be free."

"Dark Lord?" asked Peter. "Nuh uh. Not that guy."

"He's right." said Sonic. "That guy's dangerous. He attacked us …. To get revenge on the Shadow Figure a.k.a. Pyso. Alright, we'll free him too."

Fox thought out loud. "So we need to go to the island, save the captives, and prepare for another army. We need to act quick with this."

Fox told everyone what he think is best to stop what Pyso is planning. "We need a very small number to ride Rayquaza without being seen."

"I'll be stupid and get a joyride on the dragon. That way the pokemon will think I'm just being stupid and not take me seriously." Said Peter.

Sonic shook his head. "Peter that's … actually smart." Everyone stared at Peter, shocked. "O.K. The island probably have traps and guards there. I'll think it should be me and Peter. Master Hand knows me already."

Fox agreed. "Then we will have someone go find Mach Rider and Dark Lord." Fox looked at Tharja. "You know about black magic, I think you can persuade Dark Lord to join us. He could be useful to free Mach Rider too. Also be on the lookout for any more captives."

Tharja agreed. "The deed shall be done."

Fox looked at everyone else in the room. "You guys. There's not much else we can do. I want you all be casual, but also keep an ear out."

They all agreed. "Don't worry, I won't ruin this!" Shantae said with determination.

"You can count on me, too!" Groose happily said.

One by one everyone cheered quietly. Fox turned to Ghirahim. "Looks like the only thing left to do is warn Link and M. Bison." Fox thought back about Link. "Link's probably still in his room, but he has to come out tomorrow for the tournament and that's where I'll tell him what's going on. If he and M. Bison agree, they could stall the fight long enough for us."

Ghirahim liked the idea very much. "Yes, the two will surly put on a long and deadly show that everyone will have their attention toward them." Ghirahim laughed. "Especially since this it appears this ritual requires a winner." Ghirahim bowed. "I'll tell M. Bison everything."

Fox nodded. "So it's all settled?"

Everyone nodded.

"Good. Tomorrow, we'll give it our all!"

Ghirahim smirked. "They shall all feel or wrath."

Sonic then realized something. "Hey Ghirahim, sounds like Pyso hired villains for his handywork. Why didn't they invite you?"

Ghirahim turned away. "I cannot say why they did not call to me. However, if they did, I'll refuse their alliance."

"Why's that?" asked Sonic.

"Last time."

Sonic then remembered how Maskus haired him, the two robotic Sonics, and Stewie Griffin. "Oh yeah. You used to work for Maskus a.k.a. Jozen. Haven't heard from him in a while. Actually I haven't checked on the other Green Eyes." Sonic looked at Peter. "#52 was here before. Did he say anything?"

"Yeah he said that WAIT A MINUTE!" Peter interrupted. He took out a list and checked each line. "Did it, did it, did it …. God dammit!" Peter threw the paper and pencil on the ground. "Maskus pretty much already did this! We've become one of those squeals!"

Peter started cursing to himself as everyone pushed him out so they can get ready for tomorrow.

Ghirahim exit the room and sighed. "If annoyance was a weapon, he would have ended all of existence."

Sonic walked out and leaned on the wall. "At least he's still likeable. I'll give him that." He looked at Ghirahim. "I was also thinking about what they said about who will win." Sonic whispered to the Demon Lord. "Sounds like they want M. Bison to win. I don't know which one will be our best interest, but that's something important to know."

Ghirahim agreed. "I too found that interesting. I'll make sure to warn M. Bison." Ghirahim made his far wells and walked away. "There is no time. I must tell M. Bison about all this." Ghirahim walked down the hall to where M. Bison was staying, but felt something tugging on his leg. He looked down and saw a Red cheerful Pikmin. "What do you want?"

The Pikmin made some noises and pretended to be Olimar. "Your servant? I just saw him with the others. What does he want?"

The Pikmin tugged on Ghirahim again to get him to follow. The Demon Lord sighed and he followed the Pikmin down the other way. "Why did that glassed-headed book worm wants with me already. I was just about to tell M. Bison …." Ghirahim stopped, frozen with his thoughts. He looked down at the Pikmin who seem to be waiting for him. The Demon Lord stared at him for a moment, then threw a knife at the creature.

The Demon Lord was about to vanish, but halted when he witness the small plant creature quickly turning into a Thwomp and bounced the knife off.

"What sorcery is this?!" Suddenly two room doors between the Demon Lord opened and was shot at by a large arrow like attack. This attack pushed Ghirahim into the second room and the Thwomp quickly turned into a Marill. The shapeshifter listened to any intruders as a Machoke walked out of the room with a large gun like weapon. The two quickly moved into the second room and shut it tight.

After locking the door, the two Pokemon looked down at Ghirahim, now in his trophy form. "Good job, my two pets. Now what did he learn?" out of the shadows came none other than Pyso. "Tell me, is he on to us, Zoroark?"

The Marill turned into his true form, Zoroark. The Dark Pokemon bowed to Pyso, and spoke. "Pyso, it appears that Ghirahim was in your secret room with Mother Brain, Andross, and GLaDOS. He was wise enough to stay out of the machine's sensors."

This both shocked and intrigued Pyso. "So he knows everything I've said. The God, the weapon, Mach Rider, and the tournament." Pyso looked at the trophy of the Demon Lord. "So, what are they planning to do about it?"

Zoroark told Pyso that Peter and Sonic will ride Rayquaza to the Island, Tharja will free the Mach Rider along with Dark Lord, and Ghirahim was about to warn M. Bison about everything.

"Interesting, and about Link?"

"Fox was going to tell Link tomorrow. If both of them found out, they would stall their fight and ruin everything. What should we do?"

Pyso turned around and smiled. "Well for starters, we should relocate Dark Lord. Then tomorrow we will personally escort Link to his match. He'll have his meals and then face off against M. Bison."

Zoroark waited for more orders, but Pyso said nothing. "Anything else?"

"No."

This shocked Zoroark. "But what about Rayquaza and Tharja? Or the ones that know? Aren't you going to do something? They could break our treaty!"

Pyso turned to the Pokemon. "Our treaty? The one that God clearly broken since the beginning of the second wave of matches? He clearly knows what we're doing, so Sonic and Peter will just be our little messengers. We will have the weapon long before he would even meet them."

Zoroark's pupils shrank and his eyes shook with fear and anger. "How can you be so calm? We're dealing with a God!" He continued to glare at Pyso. "Pyso, don't let that block your logic. It will lead to-"

"Enough!" Pyso silence Zoroark. "Don't be like Mach Rider. I know what I'm doing."

("Another check." said Peter)

Zoroark wanted to speak out, but knew of the consequences. "Alright. I'll warn the other Pokemon to allow Peter access to Rayquaza. That dragon will probably listen to Peter better than anyone else."

Zoroark and the nervous Machoke left Pyso. The wizard then picked Ghirahim's Trophy up and examined it. "They won't do anything destructive. Just as long as Link remains in turmoil, I will have that weapon. Nothing will get in our way."

Link was lying in bed, still miserable about what happened. He checked his clocked and saw how late it was getting. "The final match is tomorrow." He thought to himself. "I don't care. I'll just let myself loose fast enough so I can figure out how to get back." He looked up to the ceiling. "Zelda, please let me explain."

Link was about to drift to sleep, but notice something at the corner of his room. He looked toward a desk and noticed something moving underneath it. "Another Pokemon?" Link got up from bed and approached the thing calmly. He held out his hand to not look threatening. "Come here. I won't hurt you."

The small creature stood still, but it did toss something to Link. It was a small rolled up letter. Link opened it and read the content. His eyes widened and kept reading. "Oh. You're just a Rotom. You should get back." Link read the content out loud and slowly walked toward the painting of himself over his bed. He carefully removed it and found the device. He picked it up slowly and covered it with a pillow. "Alright, it won't hear us."

Link looked back and was a bit shocked that the small creature was a robot. Link examined the camera on the silver body and the four pairs of legs. He also noticed that it appears to have the same design as an Alloy, or a Polygon Fighter. "Hold on, aren't you an invention of Snailer's? Ara-camera"

The camera on the robot extended outward and moved around like a vacuum hose. "Yes, an Arachnid Camera designed by Snailer, but was not directly mad by him or his orders. Please excuse my intrusion. I have something important to warn you."

Link took out the letter and looked over about how he was being spied on. "Warn me, but who made you?"

The robot bowed. "Before I reveal to you your threat, I must first say that it was one of my brethren one have given Shulk the warning."

"You?!" Link asked. "You gave Shulk that warning …. about Bison." Link recalled that Bison could be planning on something with the prize. "Of course. I've forgotten about that. And I'm up against him tomorrow. If he

The camera lowered to show a sign of regret. "Yes, but have doing some investigation it turns out that he could very well be just a pawn."

"P-pawn?" Link sat down on the floor. "What are you saying?"

The Ara-camera looked back. "Tomorrow in this world at noon, there will be an Eclipse that will last a very long time."

"Noon, that's when the tournament will start." Link said.

"That is what I fear." The robot shivered in fear. "Link, I was built on the Floating Island, home of the R.O.B.'s. On that island, the God of this world is imprisoned."

"Master Hand?!" Link asked.

The robot warned Link to keep it down. "Quiet! We don't want anyone to hear us."

Link understood. "Why is he imprisoned?"

The robot looked on its back and a sheet of paper was printed out. He held it to Link and saw an image of Pyso. "It's Pyso. With his great magic, he has captured his own God and sealed him away. He's planning on becoming the new God of this world. And he will do that with the sacred powers only a God knows, The Crystal Smash."

"C-Crystal Smash?" asked Link. "Does this involve the Cross-Over Crystals?" Link remembered how protective Pyso was when it came to Cross-Over Crystals.

"Yes. It is a special power-up just like what you once possessed. Only this one extends the powers of one's will and spirit. And only a special ritual must be perform to achieve such power. That is what Pyso seek."

"What is this ritual?" Link moved closer. Worried on what to come.

"This entire tournament." The Aca-camera revealed. "A fighting tournament must be held with competitors from complete different worlds."

"But wait, isn't that just what Smash Bros. is?"

The robot became quite. "…..Which is why … Crazy Hand is no longer of this world."

Link's heart sank. "Crazy Hand? The other God of this world and brother of Master Hand, he's dead?"

"Pyso must somehow have performed such a ritual in the past. There was no other way such a mortal could slay a God." The robot looked down. "This time, he's ready to start again. When Master Hand caught onto this, Pyso captured him and placed a curse on the Floating Island. I was made by a small group of R.O.B.s that escaped the curse."

"What is this curse?"

"This curse …. It's a red aura like substance of an unknown source. We don't know how Pyso obtain that energy, but we did manage to harness it and use it for our strikes to this place."

"Your …. Stikes?"

The robot hesitated and sheepishly rubbed the camera like a head. "Heh … I was the third Ara-camera that came here. We wanted to use this aura to ….. boost some help." It quickly went into a defense position. "It was those three monsters. Rayquaza, Dark Lord, and Ridley. First Ara-camera wasn't able to control Rayquaza completely, second one latch onto him near the end of his own attack, and I latched onto Ridley and I completely miscalculated his willpower and I.Q."

The robot nervously looked at Link. He thought back on those days the monsters attacked. "So …. You and the two others couldn't control them that well …." Link took a deep breath. "Why didn't you try to contact us in person at first?"

"We weren't sure who could be trustworthy, and the Headquarters was guarded heavily by Psychic Pokemon and hired henchmen." The robot poked its body. "I am the first version to pass by the Pokemon and any radar. We all wanted to attack the auditorium so that the ritual tournament will be halted before that day. I am sorry for the trouble we brought."

Link thought deeply about what the robot said. "I understand. Please tell me more about this ritual."

"Whoever is the victor during the eclipse will be granted the power alone and no one else."

"What? But how did Pyso slay Crazy Hand?"

"That is something we do not know. All that the naturally stonger the winner is, the more powerful Crystal Smash be bestowed upon them. Pyso was never involved with fights nor interacted with the fighters. He usually helps in finding more worlds or assists in layouts." The robot rested its camera head on the floor. "We wish we knew more, but this happened so fast ….. Link. If Bison were to win, that Crystal Smash shall be far more powerful than yours. I want you to either hold the fight long enough to stop this ritual, or win against Bison."

Link was concern about actually winning during the eclipse. "But what if Pyso somehow get ahold of the power from me?"

"Link, when entering the Smash World, people's strength are balanced out for far fights. Bison is an evil and powerful man. If he can still be considered a person." He looked up at Link. "As I said before, we do not know everything, but we will have a better chance if you win. After slaying Master Hand and taking control of this world, who knows what he will do next."

Link would easily figure that out. He thought about Pyso attacking other worlds, including his. "I'll do it. I'll do it for you, Zelda, and everyone."

The robot hopped with joy. "Thank you."

Link looked at the door. "I should warn the others about this."

"No need." Link looked at the Ara-camera. "I've eavesdropped on them early and turns out I wasn't the only spy."

"So they know everything?"

"Know, I heard they've came up with a plan to go to the Island tomorrow. If they ask, tell them that you know about Pyso and his ritual. But I wouldn't say everything out loud. Who knows who's listening."

Link smiled. "That's real good. I can feel it that we will go through another war." He looked over to his dresser draw and picked up a picture laying on it. "It will just be like in the Green Eyes World and Jozen …. Sort of a lot actually."

The robot looked at the picture. "What is this?"

Link gave the picture to the robot. "This is a form of picture called a photo. This was taken on the day King Ghidorah meet his end."

The robot looked and everyone apart of the last quest. Peter, Sonic, Link, their friends, and the Green Eyes and Death Masks. He looked closely as the blonde girl standing next to Link. "I couldn't help but saw what happened between you two. Will you be fine now?"

Link breathed deeply. "I wasn't before. I wanted to just end the final match quickly. But I can't let my emotions get the best of me now. I will not let another evil rise and conquer."

The robot nodded with agreement. "Keep your strength, Link. Keep it." The robot turned back to the photo and observed it closely.

END OF CHAPTER

A/N: Well, this is was the last chapter I worked on before officially starting college again. So yeah …. Don't expect more updates. I'll think I'll work more on "Aliens, Mysteries, and Piggys' since it requires less work and planning.

Also, yeah I can't believe I'm following a similar plot like last time. But after the tournament, things while shift toward a different direction. I can promise that.
