Elsa stood up suddenly, and Hiccup looked at her in confusion.
"Elsa, what's wrong?" He asked, and Elsa didn't reply for a second.
"I just...there's something wrong. The ice is shaking. We need to go." She grabbed Hiccup's hand and they ran to the main part in the ice structure, where dragons were flying around fearfully.
"Elsa, what is going-" Hiccup asked, but the whole structure shook violently, and a great ice spike fell from the roof near the Bewilderbeast, startling him awake. He roared angrily, but Elsa ran over and got on Snowflake.
"Hiccup, you don't have to come, I have to protect the Dragon Sanctuary." Hiccup got on Toothless, (everything went back to normal when he exited the cave) and replied,
"Yes I have to come. Now let's go." Elsa smiled at him for a second, then flipped down her mask and Snowflake shot up, flying quickly out of the ice structure, followed directly by Toothless.
Outside was a mess. There were ships of great size full of men who were ordering dragons with armor to fire on the dragon sanctuary, machinery firing balls of fire at the ice spikes, making them fall with great booms, and great machines trapping dragons. Elsa turned Snowflake aside and began freeing the dragons in the machines with ice blasts and plasma blasts. Hiccup did the same with Toothless, and Elsa, who apparently had domination over the dragons of the ice sanctuary, commanded the Zipplebacks, Gronckles, Nightmares and other dragons to destroy the machinery, and was succeeding. Suddenly, out of four cages, out flew Meatlug, Stormfly, Barf and Belch, and Hookfang. Elsa gave them a glance, acknowledging their presence, and continued doing what she was doing.
Hiccup, meanwhile, was surprised to see Eret on Stormfly, Astrid behind him, helping him fly her Nadder. He flew Toothless over and lifted his mask as he said,
"Welcome aboard Dragon Rider!"
"Thanks, I think!" Eret answered, uncertainly, and Astrid asked,
"Where have you been?! We got kidnapped by Drago!" Hiccup replied,
"Uh, catching up with your sister?" Hiccup looked over to Elsa, who was on Snowflake, who was in front of the quickly falling ice spikes restricting the huge Bewilderbeast from coming out. He roared and breathed massive ice spikes from his mouth, these ruining the ships and getting rid of many men.
"That..That's...That's ELSA?!" Astrid exclaimed, and Hiccup replied,
"Well, now I know where you get your dramatic flair!" He flipped down his mask and quickly flew away.
The battle was going badly, several dragons were downed and hurt, when Elsa decided she'd had enough.
"DRAGO!" She shouted angrily, and threw away her mask.
"This is the ice witch? You're no more than a stick!" Drago mocked her. Elsa clenched her fists, calming herself, and said.
"Why are you doing this? For revenge? To rule the world? Dragons are kind gentle creatures if you don't mistreat them as you are doing now! Why do you use them so?"
"Because I have lived in fear because of dragons for decades. But the only way to conquer dragons, is with cost." He removed his prosthetic arm, but Elsa remained strong.
"And you think we haven't suffered losses, also because of dragons? I lost my parents to dragons, but you don't see me using them to kill and conquer." Drago scoffed. OK, kindness wasn't working.
"And if you don't leave us alone, I will turn you into an ice structure." Drago glared at Elsa, then an evil smirk grew on his face.
"Not if I take you first." He hissed, and before Elsa could comprehend what was happening, he plunged his hand into her chest, using magic, and Elsa gasped, not being able to move, but felt something growing, taking over. Hiccup yelled,
"Elsa!" when he saw Drago doing something. Slowly, Elsa's eyes turned to a dark amber, purple black streaks going through her white hair, her fair skin turning pale, and Drago stepped back, watching as it took over. Her once pure blue eyes turned amber, her white hair was now black with purple streaks, a dark purple, her fair skin now pale, and Elsa took off her armor, her brown tunic turning dark purple. She stood up and looked Drago in the eyes, then bowed, putting one arm across her chest, saying,
"Master." Drago smirked, and told his Bewilderbeast to take control of the dragons. Elsa stood by his side, watching as the dragons were enslaved, and then Drago said,
"Finish the destruction of the ice fortress." He commanded Elsa, and she quickly climbed to the highest ice spike and lifted her arms, summoning great power. She struck the dragon sanctuary, black and purple ice swirling around it, causing it to crumble to the ground. She returned to Drago and then turned to see Hiccup running towards her.
"Elsa, what are you doing?!" He cried, and Elsa held her hand out, stopping him with shards of ice.
"Who are you?" She demanded, Drago replying,
"He is one who hurt you." A flash of purple crossed Elsa's vivid amber eyes, and she recalled hurt, pain, sadness, and betrayal. Anger showed in her face, and lifting her hand, she shot Hiccup against the demolished ice fortress, shooting black and purple ice at the blonde girl who shouted at her to stop. Astrid, that was it. Anger and hurt were directed towards her as well. She shot away the young man with tattooes and brown hair, and then she lifted her hand into the air, summoning great power, and slammed it onto the ice, sending a shockwave that threw everyone to their backs. She returned to Drago, and they went onto the ship, leaving the ruined ice fortress.
Astrid crawled over to Hiccup, and asked,
"Hiccup, what happened? Why did Elsa do that?" Hiccup got up and stared in the direction which Elsa, Drago and the dragons had taken, and whispered,
"I don't know."
