Hello guys!

Okay, I'm going to try to update better, but I feel like I have no motivation. I really don't want to become one of those people who write until the middle, the end or something like that and then stop. I really wanna make this story work because I have the whole thing planned out. I even wrote it all down.

But, I need to say something! I won't have one completely free weekend until December because Halloween the 31 a play I'm in has a premiere, and every weekend from now on we're gonna have rehearsal every weekend, my entire autumn break, plus one Friday, plus the usual two times a week and we're gonna play it five times each weekend next month! And I also have school five days every week, scouts one day a week and diving one day each week. So life.

Okay, let's get to the writing part! If you think I'm completely wrong about how long Blaine stays in hospital, BLAME THE INTERNET.

Thanks for everything, hope you'll enjoy this chapter!

Kurt takes a deep breath, gathering himself. He's outside the door that leads into Blaine's room at the hospital. Blaine came in here two days ago but Kurt couldn't visit until now. He's trying to gather himself so he don't freak out when he's inside. He don't know how serious Blaine's injuries are, how he looks. He has no idea.

He takes another deep breath before knocking at the door.

"Come in!" It was Blaine's voice, but didn't sound quiet so strong like it used to. He opened the door and looked around in the, boring, blank and white room. It had one window, all the walls were white and the floor was a very light white. And at the end of the room, was a chair, a small table and a bed, with an small, dark haired boy. Kurt kind of froze when he saw Blaine. He didn't look as bad as he thought, but he still had small burning on his neck and just up too his chin. The rest, Kurt guessed, was covered.

"Hi Kurt." Blaine greeted Kurt with a smile and a hello, but Kurt couldn't really do any of those two. He just stood there. Blaine frowned at his muteness, but didn't say anything, yet. Kurt took a few careful steps against Blaine, like he was afraid he would hurt Blaine. And he really was, he was afraid he would do something that could hurt Blaine. He didn't wanna hurt Blaine, that was the last thing he wanted. He wanted Blaine to be okay.

"H-hi." Kurt stuttered out, feeling very nervous. He had no idea what he was doing, what he would say or where they were standing in their relationship. Blaine smiled at him and made a gesture with his hand against the chair, so Kurt went and sat down.

"Uhm, how, how are you? How long will you be here?" Kurt asked nervously.

"Well, I'm good. I got very little smoke into my lungs, so there was almost no danger. The burns they can fix and I'll probably not get any scarring. I'll still have to stay here for about a month to make sure the healing worked out. Then a few days home and after that back to school!" Blaine explained and Kurt felt a sting when he realized that the first few weeks Blaine wouldn't be at school.

"Oh. So, you, you won't come to school the first weeks?" Blaine shook his head sadly to Kurt's question.

"But, I talked to our teacher and we'll be able to work at our projects if you just come over here." Blaine added, trying to cheer Kurt up.

"Yeah, that could work." Kurt agreed, smiling at Blaine. Kurt didn't want the conversation to die out so he asked something he had been a little afraid to ask. "Uhm, what really happened, ah, you know, there..." Kurt blushed as he couldn't get the words out correctly, because that is one thing at the list of "things to not do in front of the person you're in love with" list. Blaine didn't seem to notice, so Kurt was probably safe.

"Well, after we ran up, I saw a little kid on the floor and I couldn't just let him lay there." Blaine started his story and Kurt's heart swelled. Of course, Blaine had gotten hurt while trying to save a little kid. "I ran to him and helped him up. He had gotten hurt when everyone started running and had lost his older sister in the crowd. And there was an emergency exit just a few feet away that for some reason no had taken. I helped the kid out there, but I didn't go out so-" Blaine got interrupted by a "What?" coming from Kurt. Kurt was shocked, why hadn't Blaine gotten out? "Why didn't you get out when you had the chance?"

"Uhm well, I turned and looked, I-I looked for you." Blaine explained, looking down. Well shit. If Kurt didn't feel guilty for not going back to Blaine before, he was now. Blaine had gotten hurt because he looked for him!

"So, I went further into the shop, and quickly realized you weren't there and I needed to get the hell out, but just as I turned something more exploded right next to me. It was fireworks. Another fire started right there and I got hurt. I got out just as he ambulance came." Blaine finished and Kurt just slightly shook his head. Blaine didn't sound sad about if, but Kurt sure as hell felt sad about it.

"Blaine Anderson, you would have to be the stupidest and bravest person I know." Kurt said, not being able to hide his smile. Blaine smiled back and Kurt fell in love with him just a bit more.

"Well, then you surely haven't met yourself." Blaine joked, and oh sweet potato lord, he actually winked! And well, Kurt was blushing so hard right now and oh god he felt like he was melting. And wait, holy shit was Blaine blushing too? This was too good to be true. And what was he supposed to say now?

"Blaine?" Well, he didn't really need to say anything because another voice interrupted them.

"Cooper?"

Kurt was walking out of the hospital with mixed emotions. He knew Blaine had a brother but he had never met him and there he was. Blaine had no idea he was coming and neither had Kurt. And from what it seemed, it was some hard feelings between them. They didn't say anything but Kurt could feel the tension between the brothers. Blaine had introduced them and Kurt had quickly slipped away. And on his way out, he saw Blaine's mother. It's not like they haven't met before, but she always looks at him so weird, as if she knew something about him. It was extremely odd and Kurt tried to get out of there fast.

And know he would have to learn to be at school without Blaine there.

Short chapter but a chapter. Okay, I haven't forgotten how weird Blaine's parents acted, it will be a major plot event later.

Btw, I came up with an fanfic that made me cry while thinking about it. Should I post it? It has a little supernatural ( not the show ) in it from time to time. What do you think?

And please, could you leave a reviwe? It won't take long and I have nothing that motivates me anymore. Please?

And, it's only one week ( ! ) until I see Welcome To Night Vale live!

Until next time.
