Heero was walking up to the Strike aboard the Archangel knowing Kira was in there doing maintanance. Kira noticed a shadow above him and looked up to see Heero standing there.
"Don't you want to know." Heero asked only for Kira to turn his head away from the other boy.
"Come out of that thing Kira you aren't going to get the Strike to perform any better than you already have." Heero said as Kira climbed out.
"Heero would you want to know." Kira asked unable to look into someone he would almost consider a brother.
"Yes." Heero could see Kira trying to come to some conclusion.
"Kira I need you to do me a favour." Heero said in a tone that he wasn't going to take no for an answer.
"Uh sure Heero what is it." Kira asked.
"I want you to hit me." Heero said with Kira looking shocked.
"I could never." Kira began.
"Hurry up." Heero said once more so Kira reared back and punched Heero Kira thought his heart would break right then and there this was like hitting your brother.
"I am so sorry Hee..." Kira had the wind knocked out of him looking at Heero with wide eyes. "Heero why?"
"This way I don't owe you anything one for one." Heero said as Kira slipped out of consciousness.
Heero was carrying Kira up to see lord Uzumi as everybody was looking Heero's way Mu caught sight of the bruise on Heero's cheek.
"That boy is a little rough." Mu said knowing in Heero's mind it was fair between the two.
"Mu what's going on why is Heero carrying Kira who looks knocked out." Miralle Hawe asked.
"That's cause Heero knocked Kira out." Mu said.
"What why would he do that." Sai asked looking at Heero's retreating form.
"He wanted to make sure that he didn't owe Kira anything so he let the Kira hit him first so Heero could return the favour."
"Some friend Heero is." Tolle said.
"In Heero's eyes Kira is the best friend he has in the entire world. Is Heero a little antisocial and comes off as cold he sure is but that's because he's never had a chance to actually be seen as a human being." Mu said as thought over how Heero sort of was starting to open up to the crew of the Archangel.
Heero knocked on the door as Uzumi gave the okay to enter as Kira was coming to Heero entered the room to see a man and a woman standing in the same room as Uzumi.
"A little rough aren't we Heero." Uzumi said with a smile.
"I apologize for that." Heero set Kira down.
Over the next Kira learned was made a Coordinator because his family wanted him to have the best chance at being happy they honestly wanted him to get a good job. Kira learned that he was sent to the Plants in order to keep him safe.
Kira soon left the room with Heero waiting for him.
"You were right you know it is better to know however could you not hit me so hard next time." Kira said rubbing his stomach
"We'll see." Heero said.
Cagalli came up to the two wondering what had transpired between the two boys.
"So Heero I heard you punched Kira." Cagalli said with her arms folded.
"One for one I gave him the first shot." Heero said thinking it made perfect sense to him.
"Heero that's the most backwards thing I have ever heard of." Cagalli said in exasperation.
"It's okay Cagalli I get what Heero was trying to do." Kira said as Cagalli shook her head at the two.
"I will never understand boys." Cagalli sighed.
"That's okay I still don't understand girls." Heero admited only to get a smile from Cagalli.
"Come on you two lets get something to eat." Cagalli lead the way out.
