A/N: Hey there. I'm gonna stop apologizing for not writing. As you all have probably figured out I have had a very hard time continuing this. However, I've had a little glimmer of inspiration lately. This one is about Koshu's memory. You'll get a glimpse of why he is the way he is now. More chapters to come alright!
Koshu had a pained face as he lay on the ground of the small shrine room. It was dark, foggy, and suffocating. The very room held the air of sadness. His eyes were shut tight; hands on his ears, he let out a groan.
'"Koshu… Darling… Why are you doing this?" A woman stared at him, it was his mother. "Koshu, is something wrong? Why are you punching the wall..?" She grabbed his hand that was resting at his side. He was tense, fists were clenched and unmoving. "Koshu… You can tell me, you have no reason to hide anything. I'm here for you." She looked at him with soft eyes, but not for very long.
"You weren't there when I needed you!" He ripped his hand away from her and pushed her into the bloody wall. "You were never there!"
A confused look swept over his mother's face, "What are you talking abo-," she was abruptly cut off.
"He came! The one… The one who did this! He made me like this… He gave me a reason to… He showed me how annoying you are… I hate you. I will kill you," suddenly, he grabbed his mother's neck, squeezing it, "and then, I'll kill father. You two will only hold me back."
"Koshu… Why…" She fell limp, she gave no fight. There was no reason to, he was set on letting him try and be happy. Though this was wrong, she was going to let him have his way if it brought him joy. This wasn't her son, but maybe… It would help him get through this. However, little did she know, this behavior would continue for endless years to come.'
He had dug his nails into the skin of his ears, blood dripped onto the cold ground. He shivered and muttered every so quietly, "Mom…" A single tear slipped from the corner of his eye.
