Welcome to the latest chapter of Raven and Blue!
Last Time:
"Dad has a brother named Raditz. We have an uncle Pan!" Bulla exclaimed.
Reviews:
GreenSaiyan: Yeah so who knew school work could actually help them? But you don't need to worry about cliff hangers much, I'm updating fast. I am already half way done with 22.
.92: (I am so sorry. No matter what I do, I can't get your full username to appear. But you know who you are when you read this.) Thanks, glad your loving the story. But don't worry about it. If English isn't your first language, it's the hardest one to learn. (Well those are the words of my Language Arts teacher about English being the hardest language to learn.)
Note: The baseball bat returns! But for real, I actually did my research for the timezone difference. I used my world clock app on my tablet. And I'm guessing only on the whole it being a week thing to get to East City.
Story Time!
"Oh my god, we have an uncle." Pan muttered, shocked.
"I wonder why we never heard of him." Bulla wondered. Pan just shrugged.
"I don't know. But does the website say if he is living or not?" She asked. Bulla scanned the website.
"It says he is currently living and is currently marital arts teacher in East City." She explained. "Since you love Female Fighters you two would probably get along." Bulla added as she rolled her eyes. Pan smirked at that comment.
"But for real, should we meet him?" Pan asked.
"We should! Why is that even a question? We should meet him on the next school vacation. With starts next after this Friday. We would have a week with him." Bulla explained.
"Awesome! What about the boys though?" Pan asked.
"We will tell them and if they want, they can come meet our uncle." Bulla said simply. "Now let's finish this project."
Pan and Bulla worked on their project for the next hour. Goten even helped by printing out some pictures for the girls. Other than that, he just stayed on the couch and watched T.V. as the girls worked. The girls weren't going to admit it but doing this project hurt them. Reminding them of their grandpa and parents who had died. But the bright side was that they found out they had an uncle. They got to the Ox-King and his wife when the door opened. Trunks walked in looking annoyed and tired.
"Hey Trunks, how the study session go?" Goten asked.
"Terrible. Marron kept flirting with me. So seeing how she didn't take it seriously, I told her it was our last study session. She freaked and got us kicked out of the library." Trunks explained.
"Figures, that bimbo deserves it." Pan smirked. Bulla snickered a bit at her sister and pushed her slightly. Trunks sighed again and sat on the couch running a hand through his lavender hair. Pan and Bulla were with the poster board of their soon to be family tree and supplies all around them. They moved the coffee table so they were in front of the boys. Pan and Bulla glanced at each other and nodded.
"Oh no, you two are nodding to each other." Goten observed.
"What are you up to?" Trunks asked, hoping it wasn't bad. By now, both brothers new that they were always up to something.
"Chill out, would ya?" Pan asked as she turned around to face the boys. Bulla followed her sister's pursuit.
"Well we don't know if it's good or bad so no." Goten answered. Bulla rolled her eyes.
"It's good." She sighed.
"So chill out the dumb one and the player," Pan added, using the old nicknames she and Bulla came up with.
"Anyways though out our research we found out about something interesting." Bulla began.
"Something interesting as in a place to rob," Trunks asked. Pan glared at him before getting up and leaving.
"Huh? Pan where are you going," Bulla asked.
"Bathroom," Pan called.
"Well…I will explain the rest when Pan gets back." Bulla shrugged. Minutes of silence past and no one said a word. Trunks and Goten were watching T.V. while Bulla was working on the project. The silence was ended by Trunks yelling.
"OUCH!" He exclaimed. Bulla and Goten turned to face Trunks wondering why he yelled. Behind the couch with a bat in hand, Pan was smirking. Bulla stiffen a laugh by covering her mouth but Goten didn't bother and just laughed, making Trunks glare at him. Trunks continued rubbing his head and turned around to face Pan.
"Really Pan?" He asked annoyed.
"Yes because we are not going to rob something thank you very much." Pan explained. Trunks was about to resort but Pan waving her bat made him shut his mouth. Even though Bulla was amused, she didn't like how Pan was just whacking her crush with a baseball bat.
"Really Pan?" She asked her sister.
"Really Bulla," Pan replied as she sat down next to the blue haired girl.
"Anyways, like we were saying we found something interesting." Pan said, bringing the conversation back to where it had left off.
"We found out we had an uncle in East City interesting." Bulla paused to glare at Trunks. "We do plan on visiting him once our week vacation starts."
"And if you wanted, you could come." Pan added. Goten and Trunks glanced at each other.
"If we didn't come, how would you get there," Goten asked.
"Yeah because I doubt you two have your driver licenses." Trunks added.
"Well, we are pretty use to walking so probably that way." Pan snapped. Bulla rolled her eyes.
"Well we have our savings so that works. We can rent a car. I am the brains of Raven and Blue so I think I can get us some fake driver licenses." She explained simply. Bulla smirked seeing the boys' know-it-all attitude vanished.
"Anything else because either way if you like it or not, we are going to see our uncle." Pan stated.
"I guess we are going on a road trip then." Trunks stated.
It was now seven at night and the girls had gone to their room for the night. Trunks and Goten still had doubts so they sealed off the balcony doors. The boys were down stairs with the house phone. It was on speaker and the boys listened to it ring. Around the third ring, a voice answered.
"Hello?" A voice asked tiredly.
"Hi mom," Both boys smiled. It's been at least a month out of Bulma and Vegeta's two month business trip to America. The boys haven't talked to their parents since!
"What do you two want? It's six in the morning here!" Bulma exclaimed.
"Sorry mom but aren't you up at six usually?" Trunks asked.
"Well sorry! Can't a woman get some sleep on her day off?" Bulma asked.
"Sorry mom." Goten gave a nervous laugh. "But so how's America?"
"Not that bad actually, it's interesting alright. But the thing is, you both know I am trying to get capsules to America. At the moment only Japan has capsules. It would be great for business if capsules and other Capsule Cooperation products went worldwide and at the moment, it's not working well. We might need postpone getting capsules to America or even staying longer. I think we will be away for two more months. So our trip will be three months long total. If I can't get capsules to America in three months, it will be one of your jobs in the future once one of you takes over Capsule Cooperation when you're twenty." Bulma explained.
"Wow mom, that sucks." Goten sighed.
"So how are you holding the fort back home? Did anyone transfer calls to the house?" Bulma asked. The duo heard someone groaning along with a complaint.
"Keep it down woman. It's six in the morning." Someone growled. It was faint and muffled but Trunks and Goten heard it.
"Oh hush Vegeta; I'm talking to our sons about Capsule Cooperation and what not. They need to know this since one of them is taking over. It's not like you are going to teach them any business points." Bulma hissed. The boys heard more groaning from their father.
"Anyways, things are good. Turns out Pan and Bulla have an uncle, Goku's brother." Trunks explained.
"What? Goku has a brother? I know he usually keeps out of touch for years but this is honestly ridiculous!" Bulma sighed.
"Yes he has a brother god! Raditz Son!" Vegeta complained from Bulma's end.
"What? You knew he had a brother? You didn't tell me, your sons, or the girls because?" Bulma demanded, seeming to forget she had her sons on the phone.
"Mom, can you yell at dad some other time? We have something important to tell you." Goten told his mother. Bulma sighed.
"Well I might as well ruin his morning but yes sweetie, what is it?" She asked.
"Their uncle is actually in East City and we are planning on go there with the girls. Is that okay?" Trunks asked.
"Of course it is!" Bulma said without hesitation. She was thinking they all could get closer. "But the thing is boys, from West City it's going to take about a week."
"Dang it, we only have a week for spring break." Goten sighed. Bulma thought for a minute.
"No you won't. School will end in like what? Two months? I will pull you all out for the rest of the year and when your summer officially starts, Vegeta and I will be home. And this would all be your final year so that's a plus." Bulma explained.
"Thanks so much mom that would be great!" Trunks grinned.
"I know, I'm the best mom ever." Bulma gloated. "But if your headmaster whatever his name is, I will just sue him and get him fired. No problem. So have fun in East City. Don't get to friendly with the girls!" She teased, causing both boys to blush.
"Really mom?" Trunks asked. Bulma just laughed at her son.
"Oh and by the way, say hi to your Aunt Tights while you are in East City." She reminded. Before the boys could resort, the line went dead. Either Bulma hung up or Vegeta ended the call for her.
"Yup, talking to mom is always great." Goten laughed.
The road trip will start next chapter and then the romance will really beginning. But I am on a roll with updating! So you guys won't have to wait that long.
